I have ordered this camera and used it around 3 days with sd card.the issue i was having that sometime it was giving alarm on if the tree leaf was moving and sometime simply it wasnt catching even some people were in my garden..and then i put it on all day record but every day some part of the day recording was completely missing,last time between 1600 to 1900 recording was totally missing with no reason and that was the time when i actully needed the camera to record when my upstair neighbours threw rubbish in my garden from windows and camera dint catch it at all…thats y i am returning camera..it never recorded all day even option was on for all day recording..picture quality is good..signal is good..night vision is good as well…

Recieved my new ieGeek HD Megapixel IP Camera this afternoon & with in 45 mins everything was up & running & working in perfect order. Set up took less than 5 mins, really easy to connect to home Wi-Fi & app installation as easy as 123. Picture quality is second to none, crisp & clear. Motion detection is a little fiddly but you soon get the hang of it.
My neighbour saw me setting up as he went to shops & by the time he came back I was putting the ladders away, he couldn’t believe it’s simplicity. I sent him the link for the Amazon ieGeek web page. A great quality security camera
Better than I expected the picture quality and night vision is really clear. The motion detection is very sensitive and easy to adjust. The initial set up was simple and the instructions were easy to follow.
This is a great little camera for the price. It is very easy to set up and I have been able to monitor my house from abroad succesfully. The motion detection can be a bit sensitive but it is just a case of setting the right level to suit weather conditions etc but this is so easy to do from you mobile phone. I highly recommend this camera and will be purchasing more.

Is good camera and easy to install. Works on WiFi very well.
Easy to fit ,just add a micro sd card pair it up with router . I get very few false recordings with nothing on. just make sure the area the cameras pointing at has no moving objects like things flapping in the wind. Night vision is also good. I have been using it a week and so far am very pleased.
Good quaility and well made and easy to install and set up. When it arrived I followed the instructions, downloaded Camhi, and within 3 mins it worked, and another 3 mins it was connected wireless. Lots of settings to play with and the loud speaker was very clear. The on board sd card is a great way to capture videos and pictures when the motion sensor is triggered, and you still have the option to stream to a server. Once I have tested it for a month or so I hope to buy another one or two of the same make. Recommend A++.
Great value camera. Fairly easy to set up though i had to wire into router to establish a wifi connection.
Daylight quality is great though slightly jerky. Night vision not as good but ok. Motion detection very good & you can enable alerts to your mobile.
On the downside if you need to change your wifi password you have to set it up from scratch. It wont connect even if you change password back to the old one. The bracket doesnt detach from the camera so you have to take the whole thing down. That was a pain in the proverbial.

We have been thinking about a reasonably priced CCTV system for in and outside our homes and for our elderly mothers We had already purchased iegeek cameras for inside our own home and found them unobtrusive and easy to use . They have a user friendly app that allows you to have alerts, check your home at any time and adjust time and video settings easily. There is an HD or SD option for viewing on the app and the clarity during the day is superb. Night vision is very good too. They are easy to set up – plug them in and easily connect to the WiFi. My only gripes are that we liked them so much we purchased these extra indoor and outdoor cameras for others – but despite all being the iegeek brand, we now have four different apps as they don’t run on the same platform. Also we are using the cloud (that you have to pay for) but again, only two of the indoor cameras have this option – the others aren’t compatible. All in all though – Definitely recommended.
This was an excellent product doing what it said on the box, however, unfortunately it was not suitable for our needs, this does not diminish the quality of the product or reason not to purchase one.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the product, it looks good on the side of the house and will hopefully be a good visual deterant to any wouldbe thiefs. The build quality is good, the device is quite heavy for its size, suggesting high quality materials being used.
Mounting the camera was a little problematic, you have 2 choices, drill a huge hole through the exterior wall (I’d estimate at least 25mm) for all the wires to pass through, or drill a 10mm hole and just pass the power lead through. I opted for 10mm which means a bunch of wires (reset and LAN) as well as approz 1m of wire is left on the outside of your house. The wires are visible unless you buy an extra box to mount next to the camera to house the now redundant wires.
Set up through my phone was relatively painless, very quick to get a picture, but setting up email alerts again was a little problematic, but this is due to security settings, Google 1 step authentication etc. It took a few minutes to work this out and it’s all working now. I think that ieGeek could make their instructions a little clearer for this, I had to refer to some Google help pages.
One thing I noticed when mounting the camera was that in the position I need to angle it at, the wifi antenna gets in the way, restricting the angle slightly. However, after the first night I realised I had too much of the wall in view anyway and this was causing some ‘flash back’ of the infrared, so I’ve now angled the camera a few degrees away from the wall, this has released the pressure on the antenna and now allows for a much better, clearer night view.
The ability to select an alarm ‘area’ is great as my camera can now see the road in front of my house, so I’ve homed in on only getting alerts when movement is detected near my doors and windows. Being able to adjust the sensitivity will hopefully allow me to refine this further so I don’t get middle of the night alerts for passing wildlife, but I haven’t had it long enough to play with the this setting yet.
In summary, the camera is very good, I’d highly recommend this, it makes me feel much more secure when I’m in the house as well as being away from it too.
The product quality is excellent, only critique picture can be a bit slow as camera outside.

Stunning piece of kit, would have expected to pay a lot more for what it is. Only slight negative is sensor is too sensitive despite adjusting sensitivity- it’s either everything that moves or nothing. Still very good

Great camera easy to set up thinking of buying another one
A good quality camera and, once the rather strangely translated user guide had been overcome, relatively easy to setup.
Excellent wireless camera. Easy to install micro sod card, only one small screw to undo then insert card and secure. Connect by LAN cable to router and install. Instructions for installation easy to follow and only took a few minutes to be working with WiFi. Good length of cable and easily led in via a window. Fix to wall or soffit with 3 screws and adjust camera to cover area you wish to see. Works with my iPad and iPhone and can see area covered from wherever you are in world.

Easy to set up to WiFi and connect to phone via app. I’m going to purchase another for the back garden.
This is the second one I’ve bought. So easy to set up. Picture quality is great day and night. BUild quality seems good, metallic body and mounting bracket, with one screw to access sd card.

I also purchased a weatherproof junction box from TLC (Wiska 607 – its a 110x110x66mm box ) in black.
The camera was very easy to set up while hard wired to the router. Takes just a few minutes.
Installing the camera was also quite easy – you need to keep in mind max. 10M distance for wifi operation and also what night vision coverage you want. Daytime pictures/video is very good but night time clarity can be compromised if the area you way to monitor is too far away from the camera.
Setting up the e-mail notification was a little on the fiddly side as you first need to set up an e-mail account with yahoo or gmail…then apply the settings as instructed in the manual. I set up a new e-mail account with gmail just for the camera data as I did not want my normal mailbox cluttered with camera alarm notifications. you can get dozens in a day.
The supplier says that the motion detection areas can be masked to avoid false triggering but I cannot find this.
The CamHi android S/W is very easy to use and the picture clarity is great in day light.
The PC S/W download was a little tricky but the supplier sent me a direct link to it. Once installed it’s good.
Overall a very good camera for the price and spec.
Update 03/07/19.
This camera stopped working suddenly after 4 months for no apparent reason. I was about to send it back but decided to test it one more time without the micro SD card fitted. It worked.
Placed micro SD card in my PC and manually deleted all the video clips, etc. Then reformatted the card before placing it back in the camera. Once in the camera I reformatted again. All works purfectly again. I have seen reports that the SD card stops working – before going back to your supplier try delete and reformat of the SD card. Worth reformatting every 2 months as it appears the camera does not overwrite old clips/photos.
Having had this camera in operation for the last three years I started to have difficulty in connecting to the camera from a PC. I contacted the iGeek support team who have been nothing less than BRILLIANT. They have been very patient and very supportive, walking me through a resolution. Now working again.

After moving into a new house with a patio door leading into my bedroom I decided to have a look for a camera just for a bit of extra security. I’m not very good with technology and liked the sound of this one. The camera is very easy to install. The picture quality is 10x better than my phone and all the men in the family are amazed by the quality !! Would definitely recommend and buy another !

I am really happy with this camera. The picture quality is very good. It works much better on a wired Ethernet connection if you can connect in this way. I found the standard SKY router struggles to transmit WIFI well enough to the outside of my property. (This is due to the router and not the camera). I did buy a WIFI repeater from Amazon for under 20 which sorted the WIFI connection out.
I managed to sideload the CamHi application onto my Amazon firestick using EasyFireTools so i can now watch the camera from my main TV, the laptop or my phone from anywhere.
Only downside i have found as others have mentioned is the motion recording is very sensitive even on the lowest setting so my SD card can get filled with many short videos of raindrops, trees blowing in the wind etc.
For the price of this camera it is an excellent buy

Ordered two cameras not expecting anything too amazing due to the low price of the cameras compared to others. The cameras are fantastic, I have one set up on the front and back of the house just underneath the roof line. I can capture both large areas with the cameras. I opted for the 920p instead of 1080p and can’t imagine how much better the quality would be because the 920p is very clear.
The facility to talk through the cameras is really handy, especially for deliveries.
I had read reviews on how simple the camera was to set up but didn’t expect it to be this simple. Simply plug the camera into your route, download camhipro or campro and then add the camera. Once it’s added you can remove the ethernet cable and install.
I am so impressed with these camera that I have recommended to family and friends and they have purchased.
This is my second I geek camera as the first has given me twelve months problem free service, took me around half an hour to set up and fix in position, set up to phone and wi fi is a doddle and I particularly like the ease in setting the camera angle with the three way adjustment on the bracket, the picture quality is superb and reviewing your videos simple.
The camera itself is really well made and robust, the instruction booklet simple and easy to follow, can’t fault my Igeek equipment, very happy

Bought this to monitor a shed and boat storage area. Very easy to set up following the instructions provided (and recommendations by other buyers). Has remained connected to wifi without missing a beat now for a couple of weeks. Easy to view video anywhere with phone app and video stored on sd card. Appears very robust but will have to wait to see how it stands up to the salty atmosphere at the coast where I live. Only very slight niggle is that mounting bracket supplied is great for vertical adjustment but not for lateral. Overall very pleased with purchase.

Installation instructions in English were poor and you had to read between the lines. The camera is very sensitive and spiders cause a notification. Easy for me to install a one man job for sure. Shame you can’t get a split screen on the app but otherwise all good.
