What can I say? Well I’m not one for reviews but this has really impressed me with how easy the set up was of the camera itself and the app for use with it.
You do need to purchase a memory card separate. That is used to record the video.
Some people get a bit confused by this and if I’m honest I was not looking forward to climbing a ladder every time I wanted to look at the saved video files.
This however is not the case you just use the app and download it from the card and then you download it to your phone or pc etc and you can play it back.
The biggest issue is actually getting the app to connect.
I only installed it today and I haven’t tried to see if any other apps will collect to it!
One thing I have to say is that I purchased 2 cameras and 1/2 had an issue with the picture when I was viewing it the picture had a horizontal line through the middle.
I was thinking oh great this will be a task in itself but the customer service at IeGeek is something else the communication was exceptional communication via email and after I provided the information that was requested and followed the trouble shooting steps they gladly sent me replacement.
That was delivered in 2 days they even sent tracking information.
I recommend the camera but not sure on the app.
There is 2 apps CamHi and CamHiPro but they recommend CamHiPro.
Over all I recommend this camera from this company. IeGeek.
This is easy to install and set up. The motion sensor is far too sensitive and even is triggered by rain. For this reason, I have turned that off, and it set to record continuously. Buy an SD card designed for repeated read/write. The camera seems to attract spiders across the lens, it does get slightly warm so I guess that could be the reason. Being slightly warm also stops the lens misting and icing over in winter. The cobweb is no problem by day, but at night the web reflects the IR and makes viewing almost impossible. So fluff it off when you lock up at night. Of course, the spider and the web shimmering in the wind will trigger the alarm. Terrifying to suddenly see a giant spider on your videos!! I have caught a lot of other wild life on it, foxes, badgers, deer etc but luckily no intruders. You can view the camera and be notified of any motion, from anywhere in the world via the internet, via your cell phone. So make sure you change the default passwords!!!!!!! One legal point, due to recent court cases you may not point the camera such that it overlooks the property of your neighbour without their consent. Also this camera is capable of recording audio. It is not legal to record private conversions, in the UK, without consent. Like neighbours in their gardens for example.
I have had one of these for quite a while now and it works well but because we live on a busy road with dog walkers the camera triggers a lot and I am charging the batteries a little too often.
Its got lots of great features and teh app works very well.
Battery life is the only thing that is not as good a sit could be.
Purchased the product for Christmas, had a technical issue with the camera. The product support teams help and back up was exemplary , the problem was sorted immediately. I highly recommend the product and service support. Thank you ie geek
Easy to install. Easy to set up on your iPhone and provides clarity and peace of mind. Highly recommended.
Love these cameras.
Simple step by step instructions.
The app is easy to use too!
Would definitely advise on solar power panel as the one we have without a panel needs charging weekly.
We came back and ordered two more as we liked them so much!
Brilliant value for the money. Not had much experience with CCTV but so far this seems to serve its purpose.
Positives
– easy set up
– easy fitment
– simple and free app interface
– picture quality and FOV
– 2 way audio
– mirror and flip image allows varied positioning
– zoom
Negatives
– power lead could be longer
– motion detection is maybe TOO sensitive
– live feed connection does dip in and ou
Ordered this camera as it gave the most options to be able to view the footage, from app on phone, website and desktop app. It arrived on time and packaged well
Night vision is ok but could be better but still good enough to be able to see what is going on. Purchased a memory card (needed if you want to record video, with using apps). Would be better if it was able to take a larger size but max size will hold 3-4weeks worth of recording at a good quaility.
Would advise to make sure the camera is shelter especially when its raining or you end up with lots of false positive results as the motion detector will pick up rain.
First few month of running the camera have been great and once I have sorted through all the different settings out. (including email notification and images).
However we did start having an issue with the night mode on the camera where it looks like it was in a constant snow blizzard.
Support have been great and we tried a number of different settings but unfortunatly didn’t resolve the issue but they sent out a new camera out and that has resolved the problem.
For the price of the product and the options it is able to do, I would definitely recommend this product and will be looking at additional camera in the future on another part of the house.
Rearlly good camera, works well, great app, would purchase agai
Very pleased with this camera and it was easy to install. Now it is working it gives my family security and peace of mind that it will protect our home from intrusions.
These cameras are excellent for the price. The picture quality is really clear day or night. They are very easy to set up and really easy to use. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a security camera
I changed from a well known doorbell camera that kept loosing the signal, to this great camera, and have had no problems with my signal since. It’s set up in the rabbit enclosure in my back garden so I can keep an eye on them, and the picture is just as clear day and night. I would highly recommended this camera.
Camera delivered under 24 hrs.
Extremely easy to set up and install above door, daytime picture is good, night is reasonable considering the lack of light. Overall for the price I consider the camera a good buy.
We have bought a few of these similar cameras although please note this one does not have a light or siren, I think these are on the next model up. From experience the battery will last three months so long as the detection area is kept very local and does not pick up movement away from the house. The app that is used with the camera is clear and allows you to monitor the live, recorded footage as well as battery status.
Installation is very straightforward but need to make sure the wifi coverage is strong in that area, this may limit use in say outbuildings unless you have a wifi booste
Very easy to use and set up picture quality and alert system is great nice to be able to schedule alert timings so you don’t constantly get notifications all rough great product and we’ll worth paying fo
Unfortunately my unit developed a fault, but one ieGeek were aware they arranged so shipment of a new one, promptly.
Simply the best support. Good camera and functionality. Give me peace of mind.
Really not bad for the price, though the battery life doesn’t seem to be as good as it says it is, fully charged mine lasts around 4-5 days with moderate traffic on the street. Still I am going to purchase another for the back garden as more pros then cons. Overall very happy with the camera.
Great little device. Needed help they came back straight away and offered to look into my issue. The device itself looks and works pretty well. I would recommend this produc
Excellent product for the price! Only drawbacks are that the start/reset buttons have to be pressed hard and the SD card is a bit fiddly to insert. Other than that the picture quality and range are superb. Does the job perfectly. Would thoroughly recommend.
I have installed this camera in an outdoor location. Installation was straightforward with no particular issue regarding the physical placement or indeed technically. The app Camhi Pro works well with no serious issues. I am not going to be negative in any way regarding this product because at the price paid it represents excellent value. Of course, one has to plan the mounting location and also one has to think about internet connection etc. This camera is no different from any other when it comes to connectivity. Any camera, irrespective of price will not connect if poor WiFi signal etc. Now,the things I’d like to point out and to consider before purchase. 1. Don’t expect great results if there is poor connectivity. 2. Three wires on the back need to ideally be inside the premises for connection. You will need a fairly large hole to pass the attached plugs through. Having said that if you only connect the power wire indoors then a much smaller hole is required. In fairness the connection look quite weather proof anyway so could be left as is outdoors but the power adaptor lead, one way or the other will still need to be passed through a hole or gap. Applying extra weather proofing to the external connections can be easily achieved. The connections I made are all indoors. 3. Video/photo quality is good, day or night. 4. Read the manual carefully and all will be fairly straightforward. 5. Camhi Pro works well but, like the manual, get to know it then you’ll have no great problems. 6. Experiment with the detection sensitivity. The default of 50 was too high for my usage. I’ve settled for 11 which performs well. 7. This camera has no function to detect humans alone so will be triggered for all movement. Consider this before placement. 8. SanDisk 64gB storage card works well for me. In summary I have given this product 5*’s. This is a competively priced (sub 30 at the time of purchase). It is excellent value for the price paid. Works well. Update. With regard to the a
activation [movement detection] unfortunately when it rains the rain sets off movement activation almost on a permanent basis. Result is many many false activations. Remedy – only option is to turn off movement activation. Even with setting sensitivity down as low as possible [1] does not stop erroneous activations due to rain or indeed any other movement, no matter how small. So, for me set to on when dry and off when raining or windy. However, the camera is always recording and storing the monitored area irrespective of activation being on or off. In summary, movement activation allows too many activations during rain and windy weather. Still, with the observations I’ve made a 5* review is deserved when one takes into account the price paid, sub 30. It serves well the purpose for which I bought it for.
I have two of these cameras to monitor my garage and it is certainly worth the money. Image quality is good and the microphone function is also very useful. Easy to set up. I had a problem with one of my cameras and they sent me a brand new one which worked perfectly. The only slight drawback is the battery life. I was expecting 6 months worth according to what I’ve read, but i find it is more like a couple of months. On the whole I am very satisfied with it and it does the job.
The camera is good quality, it feels substantial. Excellent picture and sound. very good after sales service with fast response to queries and help in setting up., (which was very simple anyway) I will re-assess afetr a couple of months.
Had an issue with the camera I bought, customer service sorted it straight away.
I bought 2 cameras. One of them had problem with the Swivel Stand, so i could not connect it to the wall. I contacted the support and the seller, and they provided me with a new one.
This camera exceeds expectation, it is easy to put up. It takes very good photos and is very adjustable, you can easily change the distance for the images. The Solar panel works really well on charging the battery. Also the CloudEdge App. is easy to install on smartphone and very easy to navigate with all information easily available.
Comes with its own solar panel night vision is excellent picture quality is excellent solidly built would recommend it to anyone
I brought this camera for my in laws after purchasing a white on for ourselves and seeing how great they are. My in laws do not live in the UK we took with us and set up for them the app etc worked same as here in uk. However the solar panel was not working which we discovered after coming home but the customer service has been outstanding hence the 5 stars still even with the issue.
What an amazing piece of kit I didn’t set it up properly so contacted iGeek there after sales support is amazing after they gave me advice on how to setup properly I am now getting some amazing videos the quality is second to none I will share one with the foxes in our garden I use them as wildlife cameras and all I can say is wow
Easy to set up, covers a wide area with the bonus of an automatic spot light and two way chat.
Seems very reliable and a lot for such little money
Night vision excellent, picture quality for the price is very good. After sales team very helpful in helping me choose another camera to replace an old camera.
Very happy customer.
Does what it says on the box, very clear picture. I’ve had multiple alerts and the battery percentage has hardly changed.
A good quality camera for the price.
This camera was up and running within a few minutes of unboxing. It is easy to change the settings remotely using the app, from anywhere in the World. It can be used for live monitoring and also records footage when triggered by motion. It runs on a battery that will last for up to 6 months before needing a recharge.
This camera is excellent value for money. I am going to buy more and will be able to monitor all the cameras from the app.
With it being solar powered never have to worry about charging. Makes me feel secure as an agrophobic I don’t have to worry about what’s going on in back garden and my puppy is safe
Love the camera, easy to set up, great to use, BUT, the SD slot is for a MiniSD card, which are usually tiny in size. Also a bit difficult to get hold of a micro to mini adapter as well, will update this review to see how it goes.
Update – Ignore me, I’m an idiot – It’s MicroSD
I like that it has solar charging , but the winter will tell
Pictures pretty good in daylight
Now it’s darker it’s pretty hard to see anything without a light on permanently
I was after an entry-level camera for the front of the house after a few events on the estate and general home security. The installation of the camera is fairly simple, just drill some holes in and put it up, and make sure it connects to the mains. This part of the process was absolutely fine. I did have a little trouble with the app, but that was also because I didn’t really read the instructions and didn’t realise what the default Wi-Fi password was, however after reading them again I was able to connect the camera to the app quite easily.
I found the app is quite easy to use, it does tend to lose connection but this could also be because I’m on Wi-Fi, and not Ethernet. However, saying that, it has recorded every event and I’ve been able to go back and view them with the app.
I was quite surprised with the night vision on this product, it is pretty good and I’m able to see quite a lot of detail as you can see from the pictures. you do need to play around with the motion detection to get it just right as I found it was going off all the time.
I did try to use the windows programme, however, this doesn’t work because this is asking for a password and it’s not accepting the password I have set as the default password. So I can’t view the camera from a laptop.
All in all, for the price, this is a very good piece of equipment and I definitely recommend it.
Love the system and app but the first camera lasted 2 years and then the battery died. This one lasted just six months and again, battery will not charge.
Update. Battery charged. The fault may have been due to the charge cable. So camera is working well again. However, having used battery cameras for 3 years I’m tired of charging them so I’ve ordered some mains operated cameras.
Another update. Revised to 5 stars. Camera still working flawlessly, and I have to add that the service and support from the company has been first class.
I have had a few security camera’s and required one for my disabled entrance. Although you can’t move remotely it’s great for one specific place with loads of people traffic. It notifies and records when it detects human motion/activity. If using on your Windows PC (or others) download the Blue Stacks App Player as its an Android camera. Get Blue Stacks on Google play or other Android emulator perhaps for Apple/Macs. You can also talk through the camera and listen. Its difficult to test this need another person to try it but my daughter says she can hear me asking who is there when its on. Apps okay still trying to find if there is a zoom feature.
After been woken at midnight to the sound of scumbags ride up and down our dead end street casing garages and drives I thought it was time for a camera.
The camera came in a simple box with all cables and a little instruction manual; as Chinglish manuals go its pretty good however I didn’t need to use it.
Plug the ethernet cable into your camera lead. Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into your router. Plug in the power lead and turn it on. Next download CAMHIPRO onto your phone. Load CAMHIPRO to setup WIFI. Disconnect your ethernet cable and the camera should now be wireless.
My camera is positioned above my garage and gives great clear, sharp images, night and day, of my drive and the road just outside my house. With the camera been so far from my router it does drop out often (Check how strong the signal is with your phone before passing judgement). However the camera comes with the option to hook up an ethernet cable which should eliminate any drop outs.
CAMHIPRO works great with this camera. I can check in on my house whist at work, in fact anywhere as long as I have an internet connection. The inbuilt speaker means you can talk to any one on your property and they can talk back however I’ve had no use for this yet….Besides scaring my fianc and my kids as they walk down the drive 🙂
The only niggle I have is the sensitivity of the motion detection is too high; I think this is more of problem with the camera than the software. Small bugs floating past the camera trigger an alert even on the lowest sensitivity setting. This can result in 10s of Push notifications on my phone.
I have this currently connected by an ethernet cable to my home network. I have my server running CAMHIPRO (or HIP2P Client) and recording constantly. I tried all kinds of other IP camera software but this software for PC seems to be the best…if not a bit buggy at times. Alarms are easy to spot and play back.
Overall for 29.99GBP this is a great little camera. Don’t be put off by the bad reviews…..Most of the time its because they haven’t set the camera up properly!
Pros
+Great picture quality
+Great night vision quality
+Very easy to setup (Hint plug it into your router first using the supplied ethernet cable to setup wireless)
Cons
-Very sensitive motion detection
-Sketchy WIFI (However it is along way from my router)
Update – ieGeek customer service got in touch with me as they were mortified that I’d received a defective unit. Worked out a solution really quickly and were very apologetic about the inconvenience. If you do run into a problem get in touch with their customer service and they will resolve asap. 5 stars for service and hope the replacement camera lives up to the positive reviews when I receive it.
Original
Never even got to the point of setting it up as the gold nut in the back of the camera popped off when attaching to the mount. This was meant to be attached just under the roof. Can’t imagine it lasting long when the support connecting the camera to the mound is so flimsy!
After having another iegeek camera before this that completely stopped working after 1 year, I was sceptical about buying from this company again.
To be honest its not a bad camera. The motion sensor is not great however, and regularly picks up absolutely nothing. If I change the sensitivity it then picks up nothing, there is no in-between. The sensor also has quite a delay on it, regularly videoing the backs of people as they leave premises.
The battery life is not great, especially when using it at the front of your house.
The picture quality is good however! and works well through the night.
The camera tech was great: picture quality is high in both daylight and IR, but unfortunately the camera batteries were awful. The app tech support was hopeless (ignored me), but customer services were brilliant and rectified this well. They refunded one camera, and have sent out a solar panel to extend the longevity of the other camera. In all, a great product if they can address the battery issue.
Bought to cover the side of my house. Had problems with notifications not being sent to my phone, it is very hit and miss. I have blink camaras at the front and back of house which seem to do a better job at sending notifications. But when it does send the notifications the picture is of good quality and yhe night vision is clear.
I Spent a lot of time researching which camera to buy. I already have a ring doorbell but did not want to go to the expense of the Ring outdoor camera/subscription option.
I found this camera on Amazon and it had a lot of favourable reviews so I thought I would try one before I buy another two.
I installed and had the camera up and running in around an hour. It gives great coverage and clear pictures and stores clips on the extra SD card that i also purchased. i can highly recommend .
Firstly I am not tech geek so I have to read all the instructions to setup. Now the camera is absolutely fantastic for the day and night vision.I have put SD card for recording which can be viewed any time you need anywhere.Best thing it give you peace of mind and that’s come wirefree as well.Great igeek.I will buy second one but the rotating outdoor.Battery is great one charge is enough for good 4 to 5 weeks.Power is shown all time as soon as you turn the live view on.Fantastic camera at a good price.
Happy with purchase. It’s really easy to set up and the app is easy to use. Would happily buy again.
The camera is pretty easy to set up and install — however, the battery drains very quickly and recharging takes far too long. I left it charging for about 8 hours and it was still only at 59% full.
We use this camera in our stables to monitor ponies or chickens and it has been a source of entertainment. Great little camera for the money
This camrea is well made and has a solid feel to it.. it is setup in MY garage and is on a wifi extender..
night vision is a god send pitch black and I can see every detail it will continue to run on battery power and a an extended standard USB 5Volts charger. You can connect it to you phone for alerts.. I’m using a Samsung note 10 Plus.
video 100% day and night vision sound okay A bit distorted but maybe looking for any back ground noise nothing to worry about sound is clear though.. 100ft away pick up good..fiited a
micro sd card 64 GB wifi was at a reading of51% there was no lag/delay in Video recording at all.
all and all no worries guys 100% seller and product
kind regards
Mark
I purchased this camera to replace another camera that didn’t last very long from another company.
I’m so pleased I did as this one is so much better.
It’s a lot lighter, the day and night vision are perfect and the alerts work very well!
It works on the CloudEdge app which has also improved very much from a couple of years ago.
It’s very easy to install and use, it works on my phone and my iPad.
I honestly well recommend this camera and I wish I had bought it from this company before.
Very pleased thank you!
Great camera does delivers the quality on recorded clips and images. I have used several cameras in the past both wired and wireless, unfortunately none of them has come close its described length of working time on batteries, but this one is like only 2 weeks perhaps I have a lot of triggers as I set it on high sensitivity, I have installed a USB micro cable to charge it, which is still a good thing so you do not need a dedicated 12V charger, but any 5V supply will do.
The app is good there is no lag and generally all features are great, if zone masking was available that could have helped in reducing alarm alerts and saving battery life.
Great Quality of images and clips, I had a recent incident of a bike theft in the neighbourhood and this camera has picked up the video of the incident. The customer service is great they contacted my after this review and went through various settings to ensure all working rights, so both the product and service is great.
Exceeded expectations for relatively inexpensive system – decent quality wide angle installed at the end of the garden (200 ft) wireless signal was good (65%) clear line of sight.
Very impressed with the quality of this camera. After looking at various brands and reviews I decided to give the iegeek a go. Both daytime and nighttime recording is crystal clear. Easy to install in minutes and the app is easy to use. Will definitely be looking at purchasing the iegeek doorbell to.
Camera is really easy to set up, clear instruction guide and everything in there to mount the camera up. Picture quality is really clear and I have only needed to charge the battery overnight once in a month and I use the camera frequently as the motion detection is always on. I opted for the cloud storage which is a few quid a month just to see what it was like, again really easy to use and lots of storage. I may go for an sd card at some point. Motion detection level can be set for sensitivity and you can set the app to take a video or screenshot. Lots of features on the app really easy to use and you can add multiple devices. It has audio also so you can speak through the camera! Very handy. Will be purchasing another camera for the front of the house aswell as I am so happy with this one. Super easy to just unscrew from the mount if you need to move the angle or charge.

Not bad, as you can see from the photo and video it’s a descent camera for the price, the colour video is late at night with night vision switched off and using only street lights and next doors outside light, the Black and white photo is with night vision on and also the street lights and next doors light on, only issue is the App, once you have created account/login then every other device that wants to view the camera must create different account/login, so several devices using several different Email addresses for the same camera then you have to get shared access from the first device that created the first account, the video also shows my WIFI connection is @ 75% and jumps to 100% after about 10 seconds, my BT router is about 5 metres from camera, going to purchase the solar panel shortly i will update this review once it is fittedTIP.. if you are mounting the camera at height where you need a ladder link every device to the camera before you fix it to it’s final positionyou will find out why when you try to connect a second/third/fourth deviceand also ignore any reviews saying that this does not work with IOS, we currently have 2 iphones connected running IOS software version 14.7.1further update i have now had the solar panel fitted and can see when the battery is getting charged from the panel, i have not had to charge the battery since purchase the panel is keeping the battery topped up
A nicely packaged product and easy to set up. I performed a device update which was successful but the constant notice the update would take 2 minutes wasn’t quite accurate.
The whole process took around 15 minutes. If you’re updating the device please have patience. The video quality is excellent and has the features I most needed such as motion detection. The battery life is great. After running for 4 weeks it currently shows at around 70% of battery. I find the initial connectivity is slower than my wireless Ezviz camera but this always reliably connects.
Overall very happy and would recommend.
Good quality camera for the size and price and it is battery powered. You will need a drill to attach the bracket to the wall.
I haven’t set mine up yet but I am very pleased so far with the build quality and have been told the
the motion detection works well in the day and with night vision you don’t lose this ability.
Takes a while to get it sorted, unless you have got a good idea how to use it.
Night vision is really good.
And the motion detection I’ve set at 6 so it’s perfect as I’m using it for a communal car park as some low life started helping themselves to parts on my other car.
So as soon as someone or a car drivers near it pings you to let you know
What I also love is that you can disable the motion detection when working or cleaning your car so you don’t have a million messages.
Not that it’s a bad thing just really handy
And throughout
So can honestly say you will be well impressed with this kit 10/10
I haven’t subscribe to the video storage service
And it’s nice that they don’t made you subscribe

It’s small enough to not get in my way but noticeable enough to hopefully deter anyone up to no good. The installation is easy enough – I put it on my garage wall by drilling three holes – then installed an app on my phone. You have to charge it, press a button to to connect it to your WiFi, scan a code using the camera and that’s it. Then it needs charging again after a few months depending on how much you use it.
Mine is about 7 metres away through a couple of walls and I get a high signal strength of around 70%. The field of view is wide so I’ve got it covering my car, driveway and front garden. It’s a clear picture and at night I have it automatically swapping to night vision which is also clear in black and white. I live in a road with the energy saving lamp posts so it’s not particularly bright but you can see what’s happening at night.
You can adjust the sensitivity so animals wandering by don’t set it off. If you’re getting too many notifications on your phone from people walking past the house you can turn those off. Alternatively you could point it in a different angle so if only shows people coming up to your house. I’ve set the recording time to the maximum of 30 seconds when it detects motion which should be long enough to let me see what’s going on later.
It’s a good option if you don’t want to run cables to a camera.
This is completing my collection of surveillance cameras around the house
I tested the camera for almost a month. The recording image looks good and clear even at night. There is a movement detection option that is helping to increase the battery life and I didn’t receive false activation either in the windy days when the pieces of stuff blew away in the garden. The transmission signal is stable – my camera is installed 5 meters away from the router. There is no headache with the installation and connection.
Works as it should
This is a amazing camera .I’ve had it a month and the battery is still 65% requires no maintenance every alarm has been a positive
Really easy to set up on the app
I really like this camera unlike some I’ve tried
Everything about the camera is really good
You won’t be disappointed
Purchased the ieGeek security camera after reading the reviews online
Really pleased with purchase
Easy to set up and install and great picture quality both day and night
Great product at a very good price! Would certainly recommend this camera
Based on scanning various products this one was recommended and had good user feedback. Based on this I purchased and wasn’t let down. Simple to setup, simple to install and so far image quality is more than adequate for the area i need to keep under review.
This is my 3rd camera I’m buying from this brand. 2 of them is already around my house and using since 2 years. Now 3rd one I wanted to try as a battery camera for front of my house as I didn’t want to do wiring anymore. It is very simple to install. Cloud Edge application takes less than 2min to set up for this camera. Motion sensor, night view and picture quality is really great, for battery life it is early to say something as I will see how long it will take. But one of their door bell I’m using, it takes around 4-5 months to re-charge it. It is little bit depend on how is traffic in front of your house and how often you want to watch recorded videos.
In summary, I really like this camera and I always suggest this brand to all my friends around me as no need to spend double price to other brands…
The camera was easy to set up. I had it working and installed within approx 30 mins. When I took it down to recharge it, it lost its network connection and I emailed the company for help. The customer service was fantastic, they helped me straight away, within a few minutes of me reporting the problem! The camera is working great again now and it’s a very good product. I would definitely buy it again!

It is a nice device, easy to install and massive battery capacity. Really good motion sensitivity and easy to use the application in phone. Fast connection from anywhere anytime. Sensitive microphone as well! Anyway I’m happy with this product and recommend to buy it. Really useful for me! Thanks!
Excellent security cam, excellent price.
Great value, easy to set up, battery life is excellent, great build quality and good picture quality.
Got this specifically to keep an eye on the car in the drive and it’s spot on!
Downloaded the app, followed link instructions, stuck camera on the wall and was up and running in no time, will be buying another couple for round the house.
Really like the compact and sleek design of this camera. Easy to install and set up. Great pictures and easy to check them on app. Motion detection works really well too. Would highly recommend as real value for money. I have just ordered another one this time with a solar panel.
Great camera, I had a wired one and bought 3 wireless ones. East install and easy to pair. Night vision and microphone work really well.
This is my 2nd ieGeek product (I have the floodlight camera). It oozes quality as soon as you see the box it comes in. Solid, well made product. Very easy to set up and use. Fantastic, clear picture. But the best thing by far is the Wi-fi range. It being battery powered no wires are required so it’s very easy to position anywhere (or move as required). I live on a farm and have positioned this over 100 yards from the router and facing into the woods to capture images of deer and wildlife. Picture shows it sat on the wall for a couple of nights to film deer ‘live’ coming down the track and at 80 yards it works perfectly and still showing 45% Wi-fi power still to go. I wish my iPhone had the same range! I’ve got wildlife cameras but they use removable sims to view what’s been captured. This allows live viewing over Wi-fi. I will be buying another one (at least) of these cameras. I find it faultless and I have no hesitation to very highly recommend this product.

Amazing picture and sound quality. The app works well with it. Battery seems good. Very good product and highly recommend. These guys know how to make cameras.
I needed to charge the battery for some time before I could set up the camera and I didn’t find it easy to set and lock the position of the camera. Otherwise, it was easy to set up and it is working exactly as expected
We now have a few different ieGeek cameras, all still working well! This one is solidly built and reassuringly heavy. It connected to our wifi at a good range. It uses a QR code scan to detect the camera from within the app and it’s straight on to your network. We have two battery powered cameras and they’re much less hassle than the wired options as you don’t have to worry about where you want to position them and run all the cables. This one uses the ‘cloudedge’ app, as does our other new-ish ieGeek camera, but not our older ones. It’s a little frustrating being tied to the app – our older camera can be viewed on the web or via a PC. As far as I know you can’t get a feed of this on your TV, PC or a smart home device. At least this one and our other most recent addition both share cloudedge, we have another one but it has to be viewed in a totally different app! Overall, out of the cheap options on the market, what has turned up from ieGeek has so far always proved to be a cost effective option and it does the job of letting you see what’s going on.
I bought two cameras to keep an eye on my house, I have been using it now and they have given me excellent results. Good image day and night, friendly application on the mobile, it triggers alarms if it detects movement (configurable), it has a motion tracking function, and you can share the video from the cameras with several people (you decide who and which cameras to share as well as the level of authority they will have to adjust the cameras). It has a two-way communication system where you always hear what’s going on near the camera and you can send messages using the mobile app. For me the setup was easy, I haven’t had a single problem. If you are looking for a good value and easy to use camera this is a very good option. I haven’t used the recording option, I haven’t needed it.
Overall, I think the camera and accessories are very good considering the price. The battery charge level is displayed in the app so you can recharge it in time and the battery actually lasts a very long time. The night vision is also very good. I tested it in the basement with almost no light and bikes etc are all very easy to see. Sound is also transmitted and you have the ability to talk “back” through the built in speaker in the camera. The delay is minimal. The reception is also fine.
Excellent value for the price of the product. Highly recommended.
I already own two of the white ieGeek wireless cameras with the less rounded shape, so was wary of buying the newer model as I was worried that the interface would be different. No problems at all though, it appears alongside my other two cameras and uses the same app (CloudEdge) which serves its purpose vey well. More options for this camera though. Alarm notifications are practically instant, whereas I have experienced some delay with other brands cameras. Human detection is good. It does detect my cat too, but that’s a good thing and makes me know it’s doing it’s job! After being robbed last year, these are my go-to cameras to check the place when I’m not at home. Never had to recharge the other two yet either (and I check them a lot). Nice inexpensive cameras. Bought these initially on a friends recommendation and would recommend them myself. Good job.
Really love their product so got this other camera to put in our place. Love the 2 way function where I can talk and see people on the other side of the camera, it berry clear and sound quality is good. Really great for security and monitoring the place for deliveries or any intruders, I can check the place with mobile data or other Wi-fi connections using the Cloudedge app. Battery is long lasting as well, with or without their solar panel charger, the batter last long even with the motion sensor on. Wi-fi signal is great too I have no problem connecting or installing the device.
After unboxing everything I fully charged my camera. I downloaded the app to my phone and Ipad. Connected the camera to my wifi which was all very easy. My wifi was good in the position the camera was going to be fitted. I then fixed the camera to the rear wall. I made sure from the app it was in the position I wanted it to cover and away it went. I got the alarm messages to my phone delivered instantly. Very pleased with my purchase. It offers me the security I needed. Thanks ieGeek.
I bought this camera as I have trouble with a neighbour and was advised to install a security camera in the garden.
The camera is very easy to setup and I had it up and running and connected to the internet within two minutes.
I will install the camera in the garden so have no power. The box comes with a warranty card which offers a free solar panel for charging and I will definitely need this.
The app is straight forward and I attach some images. I did not need to use the manual once the camera was connected as I have setup other cameras.
The best thing about this camera is that you dont need any cables/wiring to install it. Just charge it with provided USB cable and mount it either with screws provided, or in my case I used two-sided strong adhesive tape. Even though it is outside my property, I have no problems regarding WiFi connectivity, as the camera has 2 antennas to strengthen the signal. The photo/video quality is very detailed (you can change between SD or HD). It can keep short snaps on its internal memory, or you can purchase a MicroSD memory card for longer video recordings.
Battery will last you weeks before you need to recharge it again (obviously, depending on how often the motion detection gets trigerred). A great purchase overall!
I bought the iegeek cctv camera because it is battery operated and no need to run wires, I have had it set up now for a few days and the battery indicator is still on full, the cam is fairly easy to set up, I was up and running within 10 mins, the picture quality is good, night vision is in black and white but sufficient, all in all a nice well built cctv camera
One of the best on the market I would say it has very good quality of night vision and best wi-fi signal it will work any corner of the house front or back it doesn’t matter where you put highly recommend it any questions please feel free to ask, very easy to install. Motion detection and picture very nice
I have an IEGEEK doorbell and realised you can get these working off the same app so winner winner as now have the 2 on the same app 🙂 That in itself is a bonus. Using it just now during a modernisation process of our house, that’s the other beauty, I can move it after that!
Also bought the solar charger for this. Not entirely sure if that will be at all effective as this camera will almost certain drain more power than the solar charger will provide. It will however prolong the lifespan of the battery until a full mains charge is required. Or I suppose you could run a cable out to constantly charge it anyway. Was thinking this would charge my phone?
Anyway I diverse! OK so great photo quality, decent range and I cant really fault this for the price (I got it on offer).
I also have another 2 older iegeek cameras (internal) but no longer use these. The reason I bought the doorbell 🙂
Are there better cameras on the market? Yeah of course they are, are the the same price? no not for this quality.
A great camera for the money and very simple to install 🙂
I have 4 other ieGeek cameras in operation around the property so when looking for an autonomous camera for the garden I knew that this would have the same clear HD definition of my other cameras together with easy setup and a user friendly app – and I wasn’t disappointed!
The camera comes well packed with protective film over the lens, and has a solid feel to it. I charged it up overnight, there is a charge indicator which goes from red to blue when fully charged. Incidentally I also tried charging this with a powerbank in anticipation of recharging it remotely which works well, as typically these are installed where there is no power source available. The charge point is inside a rubber seal on the bottom of the camera and is recharged with a supplied micro usb lead.
I popped in a high endurance micro SD card and turned it on, having already downloaded the app on my android phone. Pairing steps are very clear and straightforward, and the camera was operational a couple of minutes later. The mount is sturdy and mine is actually mounted on the side of a tree in the back garden looking back at the rear of the property. It is about 25-30 metres from the wifi source but still maintains a 68-70% signal strength with clear HD. I also downloaded the iOS app for my iPad and the camera was immediately recognised as soon as I logged in to the app. I would prefer one app for all ieGeek cameras but recognise that with differences in software between older and newer cameras this is not always possible, so I simply placed this app next to my existing app on both my devices so I can easily click on either or both.
Navigating the app is very straightforward, with clear functions within the settings menu, and day to day use tap icons for live view, history of recordings, record button for manual record, and screenshot. In fact if you are downloading recordings from the SD card you simply access the recordings on the camera summary screen of the app (which would list all the cameras installed if you had more than one) by clicking on the recordings icon and you then get a pictorial view of all the recordings together with date and time. You can then select to send by WhatsApp, email etc. depending on what platforms you are using on your device.
Camera has been running for a few days now and a feature I really like is the humanoid detection that all ieGeek cameras now have. There are a few bushes in the picture frame which blow in the wind and would ordinarily trigger the motion detect and record function and drain the battery. However this camera simply ignores them unless it detects human form which greatly reduces erroneous recordings and preserves the battery life.
There is also a microphone and speaker installed on the camera. I was lying in bed the other morning listening to crystal clear bird song over the app – I haven’t tried the speaker function yet – that would have freaked the birds! – but imagine it would be just as clear if this is a function you would use.
I’m very happy with the ease of operation of the camera and the clarity of the image, and particularly like the autonomy of the unit – you can simply put it wherever you like within wifi range!
Well made and looks good. The body of the camera is solid and it mounts easily on the supplied wall mount. Can be easily removed in seconds when it needs charging.
The slot for the micro sd card is well situated and easily accessible. This is a welcome improvement on previous cameras where the camera body had to be removed to access the card.
Human motion detection is extremely good and it picks up movement at a good distance. The captured images and videos are crystal clear and easily recorded onto the card. Night pictures are equally good.
As I have found previously the cloudedge app is not fast enough to give warning of approaching visitors. Delivery drivers have left before you get the notification.
Sound recording is good but I cannot see when it would be used as this is a security device as opposed to a doorbell.
This is a good product and sensibly priced. Option of a white camera would be nice.
Extremely easy to connect and configure to wifi and very easy to install – the Wi-Fi range is very good for size of the camera. Installing and mounting the camera is very simple with the removable pivot arm – but be careful not to place undue pressure on the camera when attached to the arm as the securing nut is only press fitted into the rear of the camera.
The night vision is again very good for the price and movement detection needs to be setup once fitted via app as it is very sensitive. The camera uses CloudEdge app which allows for 4 cameras to be displayed at once for no extra cost.
I have about 10 iegeek cameras in various locations around work/home but so far have all been mains powered and has at times proved difficult to find a near by power source however using this battery operated camera along with the new app software it is now even easier to get set up in a matter of minutes. Really good instructions included. If I was to have one gripe it would be that it doesn’t come with a micro sd card but other than that it gives me clear, instant footage where ever I am. Would definitely recommend and I will be buying more

This is my fourth ie geek camera and I’m just as impressed as I’ve been with all of the others. The build quality is excellent and it all comes packaged up like a top premium product. This one is of course wireless which means you will have to charge it up at sometime so make sure when you fix it it’s accessible ( but of course secure so it can’t be stolen). The image quality is excellent and the app that accompanies it does a really good job in letting you categorise an order whatever is captured. I have had my IE geek cameras For about two years now so I’m looking to see how this one performs, the others have been excelle
Another great camera from ieGeek. They’ve got some easy to use new software that makes it simple to set up. The particularly brilliant thing about this camera is the rechargeable battery. Suddenly there is no issue about where to put it as you can put it anywhere! It’s very solid and well-made and takes excellent images. Recommended.
The one thing I love about this camera is that there is no longer a need to have cables going everywhere. I have several other wired ones, and whilst they do the job, the cabling is a bit of a pain.
Once charged via the USB-C port on the underside of the camera it will run for quite a while before you will need to plug in and recharge… the length of time is dependent on motion activation and you can adjust the sensitivity…. or you can connect to a solar panel (not included) for a more permanent fixing.
As with other cameras, it will record to an SD card, this time in MP4 format rather than raw H264… and you can also view any footage from your smartphone / tablet.
Picture quality is good, full HD, you can easily make out faces / cars licence plates etc for when you do need to use the footage.
Finally, the WiFi setup is really easy too, you install the app on your phone, show the QR code to the camera and it is then done .. you then configure your camera using the app..
Good camera, for a good price.
This camera is total wireless, and you can easily installed almost anywhere around a house with the fitting supplied.
The battery capacity is big of 10400mAh. One full charge will last for a while. The improved Dual Antennas can give a strong Wi-Fi signal.
The APP used to control the camera is CloudEdge, a versatile APP with many functions.
I have the APP already installed on my hand devises. Just follow the audio instruction from the camera and it takes not time. One thing to notice is that it only accepts 2.4G signal. If you have both 2.4G and 5G in your Wi-Fi signal, you may not be able to connect the camera to your network, make sure to connect it to your 2.4G from your router.
The picture is clear, and the speed of the video stream is smooth and fast. Night version can be set to be switched on automatically or you can turn it off if the outside light is good.
I like the local storage capability, so you can store your pictures in a SD card locally in the camera and no need to pay subscription fee. You have the choice to store your pictures on Cloud with a fee.
Two-way audio communication is convenient. You can set the volume of the speaker through the APP.
The Alert Plan is an excellent feature, you can select day and time to receive the push alert.
I paid 55.88 for the camera as there was a 20 voucher on offer.
Overall, it is a great outdoor wireless security camera, safe and easy to install with good picture and audio quality.

Good camera, for a good price.
I saw this pop up on Amazon and noticed the big battery storage on board. I got a driveway with no access to power. So thought this would work well. I’ve got another cctv from the se manufacturer. So this will work with the same app. So I can see the driveway and rear of my house on the same page. Nice metal bracket that moves to different angles. And two aerials that collect the WiFi signal. Easy to set up. With the QR code. . The pictures are in the day and the other at night. Works well. Nice high quality pics. I haven’t tried it yet but I think it’s got 2 way communication too. The camera housing is not too big.
