This is perfect for my collection of model buses plenty of space and the quality is amazing best product I have seen and purchased for a long time 10/10
Brought this for figurine display and its pretty good a few issues the rail for the glass sliding door sticks out at one side (bottom) and it would not slide back so im assuming its already glued in place and quality control saw this and still allowed it to pass even though. It made screwing the outer frame together difficult to say the least, every second screw started to split the wood this is not beechwood its plastic lined chipboard type wood not the strongest and I was only able to put 2 shelves in as the funko pops are taller due to the hair. Rather than use the thick tac nails for the back board (those are supplied) i used a industrial staple gun that has tac nails in there is, also alot less room inside its stated as 9.5, but I found with the shelves and sliding doors it was more around the 7/6cm mark, I think the brackets to hold this could have been a bigger sturdier pair or atleast support under brackets/support braces but I made do and used plugs that open spider inside the wall so its not going anywhere, the instrustions to build this are clear simple and straightforward honestly simple to read and understand bags off assorted screws amd parts you meed are all labelledalphabeticaland another really good touch the pieces for constructionare also alphabetically labelled too reallygood job there I was they all made it that simple, thank you for the product hopefully the company sees this and pays attention to the flaws of this product but many thanks
Easy to assemble, looks lovely and pretty sturdy for the price. Really happy with it, some of the bad reviews put me off wanting to buy so I’m glad I took the risk and brought it.
I had no problem putting this cabinet together after reading reviews about the glass doors falling out and other problems. but everything went together well, i hope it stays on the wall i did put an extra screw in the wall and i wish i used bigger screws for the back of the brackets but i Have a 2nd cabinet and when i put it together i will use bigger screws for the back brackets just to be safe but I’am sure the 1st cabinet i put on the wall will be Ok
I great item though it took some time to make and deliver, it was well worth the wait.
Bought this for my son to display his mini Lego figures and funko pops. It fits the bill perfectly. Great size, adjustable height shelves, easy to assemble. Looks fab. Very happy son.
Paid 49.99 not bad for the price , read the sizing carefully the funkos I have on the Cabernet are from funkoverse board game sets so are around half the size of regular funkos (about 7cm tall) they will not fit with five shelf’s in place so had to rest the remaining shelf on the bottom reducing the shelf’s to four. The instructions I found easy to follow, although it basically made it look like once you seal both sides in the doors will stay in place… they don’t when you turn it over and start knocking the fixing nails in for the backboard … but after I found you can lift the door panel and remove them.. which would have been useful to know…. the shelf’s look nice but I would not trust them with anything heavy as they are just particle board resting on metal studs either side. I’d say it’s great for small action figures that are plastic based
I bought this unit for 40. honestly while I like it, that’s what it is worth.
its your normal low quality wood you’d expect for a 40 shelfing unit. good enough and strong enough to hold it up.
I wanted another but then saw the price had gone up to 80. honestly it felt like a push then i paid 40.
But now im seeing it selling for close to 100?
No, just no, its not worth 100. unless you really want this shelfing unit. Its just not worth the cost.
Good value overall and good looking. A bit tricky to put together with the glass falling firm is place during the process. Furthermore I had put extra support underneath when I fixed it in the wall. It was clear otherwise that sooner or later it would collapse.
We had to wait a few weeks for the cupboard to arrive but it was definitely worth waiting for. Well packaged and easy to assemble. Looks fantastic on our bedroom wall with my husbands collection of cars. I am so impressed
As described and well made for a reasonable price. B
The cabinet came from Italy and was delivered quickly by UPS. I was pleased with the quality of the beech finish. The doors are safety glass, not plastic or ordinary plate glass as is often the case. Assembly is straightforward although I glued the joints as well as using the screws provided.
Just one note of caution – this cabinet is heavy, it weighs 11 kilos and the wall fixings provided are hopelessly inadequate. You will need proper fixings, the correct type will of course vary depending on the wall. Get some advice from your local hardware shop.
looks nice and is a good feature for the house
Less depth than I expected but that’s my fault for not checking the dimensions. There are other reviews complaining about the wall mounts- it basically hangs off two screws, this seems sufficient for anything that you’d realistically mount in here unless you’re a budding geologist. I’ve had no issue with 9 metal airsoft guns in it.
Follow the instructions! Took about 20mins to put together but pay attention! I put the glass in upside down so the relief for opening is on the inside!
Great cabinet. Display my sons collection lovely. Only grip need more options for shelf hight . But other then that looks great. We added the strip lights to show it off more. Brought off amazon also. I got 3 Mtrs to fit all around the inside.
But looks great lit up
An amazing purchase . Will definitely look in to getting another one in the future.
I like that I have a place to put my small things.
I’ve given this a five because it’s supposed to be for miniatures and I didn’t realize
So I got the parts out to assemble it and thought to myself you absoloute specimen. Because of the price I thought it was going to be big boy shelving.
I like it. And it was easy to put together.
My only complaint is the glasses that are a little bit smaller than I was expecting.
It was I wanted to put my collection.
Looks nice enough on display.
Got my dad to assemble it while I was at work. He added some thin cork on the glass doors so they don’t slam into the side and cause damages.
Shelves are reasonably adjustable in height due to the lugs at the side. In my pic, the bottom and top are the first lugs. The shelves flex in the middle so not recommended for heavy items. I put the light weight items on the shelves, and the slightly heavier things like snow globes on the bottom..
I found this cabinet very easy to install and the quality is not bad considering the price you have to pay. I have nothing bad to say about it worth the money and I will be buying another.
Not sure why this has so many bad reviews as its perfect for what I needed it for (my great grandmothers thimble collection). Its finished really well with small details such as wood veneer stickers to cover the screw holes. The only thing I will say is that it doesn’t seem very sturdy so I would be careful if you want to display anything heavy.
No instructions included in package. It is not that hard to assemble, but did not order it as a puzzle. Product itself is fine, shelves are a bit narrow.
Easy to put together. Looks good with my model MotoGP bikes in it!
It’s quite nice overall, easy to assemble and clear instructions but wish the back support would be a bit thicke
I bought this to put all my child’s models and mighty micro lego vehicles.
So pleased I did. They are now in one place looking fantastic and no longer dust traps.
Display was easy to put together took 30 mins max.
Perfect for gaming miniatures up to 50mm base. Construction wasn’t hard, and the doors fit in securely.
Immediately bought a second after the success of the first one. Building the second one I realised that the build instructions could be improved as you can actually put the glass and shelves in after its on the wall, though it is a bit of a wiggle as the fit has barely any excess tolerance.
It was easy enough to assemble, but the glass did fall out, so I inserted the glass once I had the display hanging on my wall.
It looks tidy and does the job well.
I’m glad I bought it.
Nice little unit, easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. Bought it to display my funko pops, it just fits 40 unboxed pops, you cant fit boxed pops in though as the unit isnt quite deep enough. Ran out of room so will be buying another one soon!!
Good for the price. If you need to open and close the doors all the time, not recommended, but as a display, it’s great, looks nice and tidy and all my bits are protected from dust. Love it.
Bought to display toy car collection. Really sturdy and a quality item. Really enhances the collection and having the glass doors saves dusting!
Would have preferred it a bit deeper – need to read the description properly.
Holes for shelf’s was not level had to put extra holes i
This is a very stylish cabinet, easy to assemble, and sturdy.
When partly assembled I realised the width of the shelves was slightly too narrow for my needs, but I loved the cabinet so much I decided to become creative. I added some thick wooden beading to the reverse of the cabinet, before nailing the backing on. I then covered the beading with black tape which blended in with the cabinet perfectly.
The supplied wall fittings were no longer suitable (but I wouldn’t have used them regardless, as I wouldn’t have had much confidence in their ability to hang such a heavy cabinet on a plasterboard wall) so I used some heavy duty ones I had lying around in the shed.
The end result was worth the extra effort on my part, but please do check the width of the shelves before purchasing to ensure it’s suitable for your own purposes.
I now have a very happy son who can proudly display his ever-growing collection of Rubik’s cubes.
I would happily recommend this item. Although it is only made of MDF, it went together easily, feels sturdy enough for its intended use and looks smart. If I needed another similar sized display case, I would buy another.
The only recommendations I would make, are: firstly, once you place the back board in position, pre-drill the holes through this into the edges of the cabinet sides and then gently hammer in the fixing pins; secondly, if you do want to hang the cabinet on a wall, replace the supplied screws with beefier ones (the supplied straps (brackets) are okay). Also, I did not use the provided screw-hole patches; these are poor. I will replace these with suitable wooden plugs.
looks great! but the shelves are not very sturdy and wont hold anything heavy, apart from that they look good and easy to put together and hang.
Arrived well packaged, pieces are numbered so pretty easy to put together. I would recommend putting the glass in last and not when the instructions tell you too as they will fall out when you nail the back on. Only downside is it could do with 5 shelves and not 4.
Perfect size for lego brickheadz.
Very impressive display cabinet. Was worried about the glass falling out as noted in other reviews. This is not the case unless the top and bottom section are assembled the wrong way round.
Will definitely buy another when this one gets full.
It came packaged really well. No issues or defects.
The cabinet is lovely and the colours make everything stand out nicely while protecting stuff from dust. We have it stood on top of a cupboard so I cannot speak for its ability to be hung but it is very sturdy being just set flat without fastenings.
Relatively easy to assemble, but you will need a hammer.
Im very satisfied with this cabinet, it keeps all my funko pops and smaller figures safe .
Also looks great in my room .
Get what you pay for. I built the unit on my own but would have been easier with two. Very sturdy once fully assembled. Looks very commercial pro or con depending on location. I like it for displaying everything vape that I’ve collected works well for me.
These are great and well you get what u pay for. This shelving unit is great for a pop funko collector like myself I can fit so many in this but you can’t fit any pops in the top slot or very bottom as they are to small . The shelf it’self is sturdy but not amazing quality but u get what u pay for but for the price and look they are amazing
Purchased to display star wars funko pops.
Looks good and good quality for the cost.
Used 3 shelves only and it holds approximately 40 items.
Great display cab for the price. Easy to assemble, but I fitted a strip of wood at top of cabinet as doors have a habit of coming out of the guides. If this cab is mounted on wall, then glass doors will fall on floor. Wood stops this , giving more security
Great cabinet . Easy to put together , no problems , just make sure piece number 1 is at the top of the cabinet . Looks good .
I bought this for my partner to display a small selection of his fossils, he is very happy with this! It went together easily, perfect size! As much as I don’t want fossils on show, I compromised with my choice of cabinet 🙂
Love this cabinet and wanted to buy another one, until I saw it has doubled in price after a few weeks!! Can you explain why? I can’t afford it now, so disappointed !!!
These are the 3rd and 4th of these cabinets I have ordered now. They are well packaged, easy to assemble, simple to wall mount, but take note, depending on your hanging wall correct rawl plugs will be needed. They look good too as I put display figures in and adding led strip lights enhance the greatness of this product.
Also as I recieved these during these uncertain pandemic times a massive thank you to all included in delivering these to me.
Does look good once assembled. Would not hold a lot of weight, we used it for pop vinyls so perfect and they look brilliant. Had a lot of problem getting glass to fit.
A convenient and stylish way to present your miniatures rather than keeping them in foam boxes. A little pricey for what they are but they do their job and look pretty so worth the cost.
Good, sturdy and attractive case. Fewer stars as glass front has to be fitted as part of the assembly process. NOT possible to insert sliding glass doors after assembly – or remove for cleaning. Design flaw that guarantees someone will break the glass during assembly. Otherwise useful.
I bought this cabinet for my husband,he has put a lot of his pop funko’s in it, the cabinet was fairly easy to set up with no real problems, (but I think two people is best to build it just so you can hold it better) if you do find your glass keeps falling out it’s because you have it upside down.. it doesn’t fit the larger pop funko’s but you can fit many of the smaller or normal sized ones in it,I would definitely buy another for sure! Wendy.
Bought this for my son as one of his Christmas presents to display all his models and collectables in a cabinet rather than have them on the side gathering dust. Perfect size and looks good.
Purchased this cabinet, with the usual dread of flat pack purgatory, holes not lining up, big bag of fittings to sort out and instructions that only a cabinet maker could understand. Well i was wrong been putting flat pack together for 44 years and I am IMPRESSED BEST EVER everything lines up , quality great ,fittings in a big bag with each group in separate bags numbered. Instructions so easy to follow . I would recommend cabinet. Its top quality from the product to the making.
Basic quality laminated particleboard but more than functional for the money. Glass doors work week as long as you follow the manual and instructions as the runners with the protruding lip need to be at the top to keep the glass from falling out. Add a little WD40 (or similar lubricant) and the glass doors slide smoothly. Very good value for money!
Very good cabinet, fits 1:43 scale cars easily, even in their display boxes.
When building dont worry about putting the glass in, but make sure its built the right way up or the glass doors will simply fall ou
I like how the objects look on it as far as strength it had to be reinforced some bit and the glass doors weren’t the right height for the cabinet besides that it does exactly what I want it to do
I was looking for a display cabinet for my assassins creed figures but could not find any until i came across this cabinet and they fit perfectly so im very happy with this. but i did not agree with the instructions on how to build it as the plan was to built the 3 sides then install the glass then add the last piece then the back so i did it my way by connecting the 4 pieces of wood then the back and then the glass.
i also added led lights to top it off in style, in the end i got 15 figures per shelf and on the top
Bought to display my pops.easy to assemble and to fix to the wall.make sure that the bottom has the sunken runner (see pic) I got these the wrong way round and found the glass doors didn’t stay in properly.i noticed my mistake and swapped around and the fitted prefect. Happy with item.but not so much the price.would buy again tho
Good item. Wall fixings were a little inadequate so used better ones I had. Glass also tricky to keep in place during construction as wood frame flexed too much. Once put up though it looks great.
great for display of small models, good glass doors, not suitable for heavy items, but very good value for small stuff, I recommend this.
Instructions were not quite as good as they could be, to make sure which is the top and bottom pieces, to make sure the glass slides correctly.
Once that was sorted, assembly was simple.
The cupboard could be fixed to the wall without the the sliding glass panels which made it much lighter to hold up.
I keep my collection of paper weights in.
Fortunately they matched very well for colour and appearance when they were butted up together. I purchased some moulding to put round the. outside in matching beechwood to finish them off. My model locomotives look well displayed on the shelves.
I’m using this for my funko pop vinyl collection and it’s perfect size for 4 shelves worth of pops. The cabinet came without instructions but it was pretty simple to construct.
Struggled with the doors until my brother came in and took over I had cabinet upside down doors stay in place now. Think the company could make top and bottom cleare
I purchased this cabinet to display my small collection of vintage corgi cars.
The cabinet was packed well and presented. There were a couple of annoying marks which must have occurred in the packing process.
The assembly instructions were a nonsense, although easy enough to put together.
The cabinet did not go together well and needed a bit of “adjustment”.
I think the MDF shelving will sag in time.
Overall… Not to bad for the price
Easy to build display unit, ideal when your short on space. I bought this to house my vintage Star Wars figures to display and im happy to report that all 96 of them fit in nicely on 4 evenly spaced out shelves. The shelves themselves arnt too sturdy and if you were placing die cast cars, or something a little heavier you may want to think about a small single self tapping screw through the back of the unit to keep the shelves from sagging. The figures display I have is just about the right amount of weight for these and overall im really pleased with the effect of this unit. It does the job nicely with no drama. Reccomended product.
Exactly what I was looking for to display my pop vinyls.
Excelent quality. So easy to put together, female here and I found it easy.
Using this for Lego mini figure collection and it does the job well, you can also double up on each shelf. Assembly is straight forward and easy enough for the most basic of DIYers, however get some better screws for wall attachment. The ones supplied are near on useless. Would buy agai
Overall, the display case is very good, there are some slight issues with the alignment of all the parts and the glass but some of that is down to me. the actual shelving is quite sturdy but has started to bow is places.
I liked the finished product. I needed another display cabinet but was unable to find a suitably priced one until I looked on Amazon and to my delight there was one “ticking all the boxes” Delivery was exceptional in fact it was received s few dys before it was expected. Very good service all round.
The instructions are rubbish but it’s pretty easy to put together. I’m not convinced that those metal brackets will be enough to secure it to the wall with the weight of the cabinet as well as full contents. IF YOUR GLASS DOORS ARE FALLING OUT AS PER SOME FEEDBACK YOU HAVE BUILT THE UNIT UPSIDE DOWN! I made this mistake on my first build. Turned it upside down and it’s perfect. The top section has a raised track along it. The bottom section is sunk into the wood.
I use mine to hold Transformers figures, some of which are part die-cast metal and quite heavy for their size. The shelves hold them just fine. Additionally, I’ve found it tough to find display cabinets that don’t stick out from the wall too far; no such problem here, I have one of these on the wall behind a door and it opens fully without hitting the cabinet. Assembly couldn’t really be more straightforward, it’s four pieces of wood that need to be screwed together. The only potential gotcha might be sliding both glass doors into the same groove so they don’t open, but a bit of common sense goes a long way. Excellent cabinet and well worth the money.
I think the display cabinet is well made and simple to assemble. I would have liked to have the option of white frame but I can easily paint it. I also would like the glass doors to be removable without dismantling the frame. Other than that it is very good and I am pleased with it.
Wasn’t expecting much for the price, but it’s a nice fixture, easy to build, all required bits were present, nice glass doors that slide well, simple instructions and it fits together properly. For 35 what can I say?
This is a very good self especially for less then 40 came very quickly (within a few day) my dad put this together did find a gap in the glass but adjusted the back board with meant the back board wasn’t straight but you can’t tell when it is up and now there is no gap in the glass. If are you putting pop vinyl in it it can fit roughly for 11-12. I definitely think it worth the money and it looks so good in the flat! I am definitely getting it again as my boyfriends collection is just gunna get bigger!
I collect funko pop figures. I have loads, and was running out of room for them. I looked around for solutions for displaying my collection, and thought this looked like great value for money. It really is. It’s not the most sturdy, but funko pops are just light plastic figures, so it does not need to be the strongest. If you wanted to display something smaller than pops, there was an extra shelf I could not use as my pops were too tall.
Putting it together was horrible. The instructions were really lacking and the process was fiddly. However it was worth it and the end result was great. I now have a home for all of my wrestling themed funko pops with room for a few more. I would recommend this for funko collectors, and would not rule out buying another if my collection continues to grow.
My love collects Disney figures, and after a while she had a lot, so I bought this cabinet for Christmas, wrote some Disney quotes on it with luminous paint and installed UV led lights as well. She absolutely loves it, As it is almost full, I might need to buy an other one soon 🙂
This is a nice display cabinet. Took about 20 minutes to put together! The glass fits lovely (doesn’t fall out) and it’s straight.
For the price it’s great and displays my collection just as I wanted. I imagine the shelves wouldn’t hold a great deal of weight, as there aren’t any supports in the middle of the shelf, but as my items aren’t very heavy this isn’t a problem for me.
I can’t comment on the fixings for the wall as I have mine resting on a sideboard but agree with other reviews about it maybe needing more support.
Over all if you want a cheap nice looking display cabinet then it’s worth a punt.
For the price, I’m really pleased with this. I was after a cabinet to display my die cast cars, and this is perfect for the job.
Why? It’s reassuringly heavy and sturdy, fairly straightforward to assemble and easy to get cars out or re-order them, or to reposition the shelves. In my case it would be useful to add a couple more shelves, but I’ll have to get those made. That’s my only real criticism.
A few reviews have marked it down as it’s a chipboard frame – think Ikea and you’re about right – so don’t expect hand crafted solid wood for this price. I suspect the shelves would bow with heavy items on them, but that’s standard fare as there are no supports mid-way along the shelf, and I’m not displaying heavy items so this doesn’t affect me.
Comments about the wall brackets are fair – these are visible once it’s hung – but I’m not sure how you’d avoid that with such a heavy cabinet. That said, they sit proud of the back of the frame, so when I hung it the whole thing was tipped slightly forwards and my cars were rolling towards the glass. I put rubber bungs on each bottom corner to angle it slightly backwards, problem fixed.
The main point now. Take your time building it as the backing piece isn’t easy to line up and it sets the shape of the frame. This has to be nailed in place and there are no guide holes so you have to centre it as well as you can then guess where the wood behind it is, or you’ll put a visible hole through the backing piece, or break through the laminate as I did. I suspect this might be why others have reported misshaped glass – it’s the frame being slightly off square, not the glass.
Also, the shelves are supported by metal dowels with a wider ring around the middle, presumably so they can be prised out with a screwdriver. But if you don’t push them in far enough, the shelves sit on this wide bit of the dowel, and aren’t flat.
Overall; great for the money. You can spend a fortune on these.
These cabinets are perfect for displaying my Pop Vinyl collection which, until now, had been wasting space in the wardrobe, out of sight. I can get between 10-12 average sized Pops per shelf, and have 4 shelf spaces in the cabinet. So there’s room for a lot of Pops! They were very easy to assemble too. They’re a good price. My only complaint would be that the glass doesn’t stay in very well. I nearly had one glass panel fall on my head when sliding it open, and now it won’t stay in at all.
For the price and ease of assembly I love this display cabinet. I can now display my collection of R2D2’s with pride and knowing they will be less dusty in this cabinet. However I did not wall mount the unit so I cannot say how well that it will hold on the wall, just don’t overload it with heavy items and I think you should be all good. I would definitely buy another, but if only I had a bigger toy collection…
A wonderful way of displaying nicknacks, the adjustable shelves give you the scope to accommodate a wide range of objects. I’m now able to enjoy looking at family treasures that used to be stuck in a box. If you have a box that rattles with old seashells, buttons and toy cars, this is the perfect way to enjoy them.
One word of warning: this is a high quality product with glass rather than plastic doors, which makes it quite heavy. Make sure that it’s fitted properly and consider adding extra fixings to the ones already supplied, as that will give you more peace of mind.
Well…. Bought for Funko Pops – Can only use three out of the four shelves but I managed to squeeze about 40 in here (that would be the total max you’d manage on standard size pops). Only issue is on mine the glass one side doesn’t fully close which is annoying and down to the slight unevenness of the slidey part (whatever you experts call it). Recommend you get a second pair of hands to help construct personally, some parts are a little tricky by yourself unless flat-pack wizard. I personally added a little support underneath the display as hanging from two screws in the fall didn’t fill me with confidence. All in all, I love it and was exactly what I was after. The price wasn’t that bad compared to other display items really. Would buy again if I had the space!
Looks good. Easy to put together. My son has his pop figures in it & room for more
Very pleased with this, easy to assemble and more substantial than I thought it would be for the price. Don’t be put off by some of the negative comments – mine had no glue on it, tiny fibres or mismatched pieces, and neither did the glass fall out! It all fitted together perfectly. It now holds a collection of sixty miniature trinket boxes and looks splendid.
great display case works well for my models, however its a pity you can’t purchase extra shelves. perhaps it should come with 7 shelves instead of 4
Very solid unit and is perfect for what I used it for. Easy to build and mount on the wall.
A very nice cabinet… quick and easy to put together and good quality. I got this to house my original star wars figures I’ve had for 30 odd years. They are getting old now and they have been in boxes and storage for a while… it’s time they finally got to be displayed .I’ve included a photo of the figures i had to hand inside the cabinet to show how comfortably size wise they fit.
Quality product, very easy and fast to put together. I have several of these now for my collection of 1:50 scale trucks, however i noticed the shelves start to bowe after a while with the weight of the diecast models, I just flip the shelves over every few months when cleaning the cabinets.
Also when fitting to a wall I used my own wall plugs and went to local hardware store for brackets to support the weight.
Looks good on the wall, take time making sure back is on absolutely square otherwise glass doors fall out. Lots of shelf space for your collections.
A very good item, delivered on time. The horizontal shelves are a little bit flimsy, in that they they tend to bent a little bit , hence 4 stars
For the money, this is a great buy. It looks good and is easy to assemble if you follow the instructions carefully. It holds a good selection of models, even ones which I thought might be too big, e.g. 1:50 Corgis. One tip, the top and bottom pieces are not interchangeable!!! If the glass doors keep falling out then the top and bottom are the wrong way round.
Lovely item. 4 stars due to two holes missing on one side and the outside boards not lining up properly. Double check your shelf placement before nailing it together as there’s no way to alter it later.
Sorry for the delay in writing this review. these cabinets are perfect for displaying small ornaments, miniatures, thimbles in fact anything that you may collect. it was relatively easy to assemble, if your are good at DIY. my mum wouldn’t have been able to put these together as she has problems with her hands, but if you are good at fixing things, these are simple. They make your collection stand out and keep them free from dust. I brought extra strips of wood to go on the shelves, to give height to thimbles displayed. so that we could get two rows on each shelf, but to be honest we probably could have got 3 rows on the shelves if i had brought more wood. we were so please with the first one we brought a second one.. we would recommend these cabinets for all collectors out there.
I purchased this item for my grandson for his collection of egg cups that I have given him for his birthday Luckily my husband and I assembled it before we wrapped it up. Item needs two adults to put it together. The mounting brackets are purely to locate it securely against the wall. This cabinet needs a shelf to rest on as the brackets will not hold it on the wall. Item is good for the price, but needs adjusting to suit its purpose
Build quality is good for the price (have seen same type of display cabinets for 30 more). However it looks great for Eddie Stobart 1:72 models.
I am using 2 larger trucks and 1 smaller truck the the bottom and 3 middle shelves and 4 smaller trucks on the top shelf. So if you are collecting the series you might need a few. I was told there was about 30 in the whole collection when I called atlas editions.
ok so this isnt going to win any engineering awards but i have to say im happy with it, i use it for my wargames miniatures. it went together easy enough for me and while i agree that it is not a perfect fit, it is good enough. you do hammer the back on last while the glass is in but i did not feel there was much risk of breaking it. a word of advice, clean the glass first cause its a bugger to do it later. the shelves might bow under heavy weight like say metal cars but mine is fine. mine came with brackets to mount on the wall which seem strong enough. for the money im very happy with it and am thinking of getting a second one.
I’ve recently downsized and had to part with a LOT of stuff. Some of it went to my adult children, some of it I sold, most of it went to charities. But I had some little items – coffee cups and saucers decorated with cameos, ivory figures (before the days when ivory was bad news) and so on which my grandma and others had given me. They were of great sentimental value, and I’m delighted to say that the Link’s Display Cabinet shows them off to perfection, without in any way being intrusive. It’s slim and compact – ideal for my new, smaller home. Thank you.
This is more or less what I wanted but by design it’s bound to be somewhat narrower than stated with rerspect to shelf width. This is because of the sliding doors. For practical purposes, the shelf with is only around 73mm. It has some versatility in shelf height but limited by the pre-drilled holes that can be seen on the photos (7 height options). You could drill additional ones, but best done prior to construction. Of course you could also use it without the glass doors, in which case leave them off during assembly.
Nevertheless quite a nicely finished cabinet & cheaper than other similar ones that are available with almost identical photos.
I ordered this cabinet for some of my 1:43 scale models. It arrived in record time, and on opening it, I am very pleased indeed. For the price, you could be expecting to say “well you got what you paid for”. In this case, I personally think I got more than what I paid for. It is well made, easy to assemble, and made of good quality materials for the price. Whilst not “rocket science” to build, I had it assembled in fifteen minutes. On the wall in no time, and it now looks very much the part, on the wall in the selected position. I’m now in the process of getting my “hidden” models from the loft to fill it. Brilliant! Thank you to Amazon and the supplier!
