I have just finished scanning my first book and am so very impressed by its performance. Saves any damage to the spine of my books, and does a quick excellent job. One word of advice, scan a few pages, then check the results, I did more and found I’d made mistakes, play with the settings and check the results every time, caused myself more work by believing I had a handle on it. It’s not complicated, nor fiddley, but the correct setting will give the very best results. Heck of a good price, as long as its present performance continues I’ll have no complaints.
Some things make our work easy and joyful. IOCHOW Book & Document Camera S5 is one such piece of equipment which I bought for my office to make my work easy. It is nothing but a scanner to scan documents and books. It is working very effectively. It is very easy to install and use it. We have to connect it to the computer then we have to keep the book, which has to scan and turn the pages one by one. Due to its auto-capturing system, it will shoot automatically after flipping the page continuously. It is very useful for video recording & real-time project making. It features continuous shooting, automatic correction & filling of the broken edge of the scanned pages, automatically merging both sides of the scanned ID photo and erasing the excess parts. After getting this scanner I am enjoying my work in the office.
The device is very compact and easily transported, it folds away into a really small size and is very lightweight.
It only takes seconds to set up and be recognised by your PC, once setup you can scan pages in seconds and the best part is it works with books where the pages are curved. The software automatically detects the curve of the book and edits it out on the scanned image so it appears perfectly flat.
It’s worth saying that the device is only Windows compatible, so Mac users won’t be able to use it, but that’s the only negative I’ve encountered.
The scanner has loads of intelligent features with my favourite being OCR recognition. Doing an OCR scan of your scanned documents allows you to be able to search thousands of pages in seconds and quickly and easily find relevant pieces of information.
Overall a fantastic document scanner, the price reflects the quality and advanced functionality and personally I think it’s a good value for money purchase.
I love this scanner specially to scan documents, very quick and clear image, customer service also is excellent, I was confusing how to scan a book, customer service efficiently solved my problem.
This is foldable, portable and easy to take anywhere! It’s the cheapest I’ve seen with this spec (and I’m a teacher) it’s powerful image optimization is phenomenal and it has a great barcode scanner. What I love is that it autocrops documents too making it easy to create wonderful shared docs for anyone to see!
