Very similar to the one I had before, in short.

Comparatively thick material used, feels very durable, thus less chance of puncturing.
Good volume of air to depth ratio; around 4 inch thick when inflated and provides comfortable and easy sleeping on.
    Convenient foot pump built in.
Very easy to inflate with very light effort and fast, about 2 minutes at a leisurely place and you’re done.
    Built in pillow.
Can be inflated with external electric or manual pump.
Compact when packed – 280x100mm approx).
Light weight for the quality — 842g
Easy to clean and repair, if needed.
    Comes with carry bag.

So, this is a good mat, the quality and thickness is good. It is a bit flimsy to pump up with included foot pump. And I think that this mat is best for an average person, heavy boned person would need 2 of these.
That being said I really like the idea that you can join 2 together and at night they will not split.
It folds to small bag (you need to deflate it well so it fits easily).
I would buy again and I would recommend

This camping mat is absolutely brilliant! Its pretty deep once inflated and to inflate it takes no time at all. It keeps you far enough from the ground that the cold doesn’t seep it’s way up which is a plus! In addition it’s actually a decent size and when deflated it packs down and if done right fits back in its holder bag. It also has the capability of popping another mat to it side by side which is a great idea! I plan to take this with me to a few places I have planned to visit and it weighs hardly anything. A definite must buy!

I have had cheaper versions of these self inflating mats in the past but they have been rubbish! Decided to splash out a bit after reading all the excellent reviews, which were spot on.
This mat is fabulous! My 11 year old inflated in 30 seconds. So quick and easy! Really comfortable to lay on, and you could do without a pillow if space is an issue as the built in pillow would do the job. Deflates rapidly and folds back up really easily to fit back into the bag. Fold it using the original creases as a guide and then roll up tightly from the outlet valve, towards the inlet valve. Easy peasy! No wrestling involved!
The press studs are a great addition so that you can join them together if needed. They are not very wide so a larger person might need two joined together. They are definitely long enough though. I have bought 4 for my partner, my children and I. Can’t wait to use them at the festival we are going to. They are perfect!

These roll up, easy inflate mats have to be one of the best inventions in the world of camping/hiking ever! This is a fine example of just how genius an idea they are and how much better they are than the old days of clunky and uncomfortable roll mats swishing about at the top of your rucksack!

This mat packs down super tight and is incredibly lightweight, vital when you’re trying to pack light and get everything in the one bag. The inbuilt pumping mechanism is excellent, only a few short minutes of pumping with your foot and the mat inflates to a pretty impressive height and support. The trade off between having a lightweight mat and comfort is negligible with this mat as it inflates pretty high up off the ground and gives a good level of support. Way more comfortable than a flat mat and not massively less comfortable than a fold up camp bed or a large heavy duty blow up bed. The raised pillow section is handy too so you can save more space and have at least some element of head support built in.

The material seems good quality and thick. Time will of course tell how durable it is but I’m pretty confident it will last. Very very pleased with this and hoping to get some good use of it over the summer.

I got this self-inflating mat for occasional use. It can be used for camping, picnics or as a sleeping mat for guests.

I love that it’s nice and compact and very quick and easy to inflate/deflate. There’s no need for additional pumps as the pump is built into the mat which is very convenient and makes it less cumbersome.

I actually found it more comfortable to lie on than sit on as my bottom did touch the ground a bit when I sat in one position. But it is still fit for purpose.

I’m very pleased with it and think it’s reasonably priced. I would recommend this mat.

I’m a real fan of these types of camping mats, and this one is equally as good and a similar price to the one I already have and use. Our family are campers and the trick is to pack as minimally as you can, whilst still not forgoing a level of comfort. So this camping mat is ideal for that purpose, as deflated it is quite tiny, but inflated provides enough comfort to keep your body away from the ground and smooth out those bumps.

The term this ‘self inflating’ mat is not quite accurate , it inflates using the integrated foot pump, which you stamp on, and it doesn’t take too long to inflate nicely. Don’t expect it to inflate by magic as soon as you get it out, or you’ll be waiting a long time! if you’re a keen camper then this will be well used and well worth the money. Five stars.

This EMULICE Self Inflating Camping Mattress is just the thing for camping, caravaning, lazing about on the beach or as an emergency guest bed. Deflated the mattress is nice and compact and not overly heavy, so is just the thing to pack away in a drawer, the car or carry in a backpack. Inflated it is a good size, plenty large enough for my six foot frame. Most impotantly though its comfortable to lie on, firm with just the right amount of give, not too different from my own bed.

This is the first time I had this mat. I have nothing negative to say about it. It’s light weight, easy to inflate with the built-in pump which is a very clever design. You don’t need to bring a separate pump or blow it with your mouth. The mat will inflate is just over a minute. There are two inlets one where you open it to step on and pump the mat with your foot and one on the pillow bit to deflate. The material is thin but strong. Easy to clean and you can attach it to another same kind of mat as well since it has buttons on the side to clip on another mat. It’s warm and comfortable to lie on your back or sideways. Only when you sit on it that you will feel the ground since your weight is not distributed. This feels more comfortable that a roll out rubber mat.

    Excellent sleeping ma

So this thing is actually pretty awesome.

Folds up super tiny, and super light weight, so great and easy to transport.

The inflate function is pretty cool, no more hyperventilating, no need to carry a pump around, pop it on the floor and pump it up with your foot. Done! Likewise it deflates super quick as well. Surprisingly comfy for something so simple. And, the extra benefit, the popper function means you can attach multiple of these to make a double (or as many as you want!) Size sleeping area!

When I’ve dealt with inflatable mats/mattresses before I’ve not been a big fan, because more often then not you’re needing to bring you’re own pump, or spend 30 mins blowing it up yourself.
So I’m a big fan of the built in foot pump this comes with, only taking a few minuets and the thing was fully inflated. Taking the air out was simple, just undo the cap and push pout the air.
I’d say its roughly the length of a single bed, but it’s width is a bit thinner, and comes with an inbuilt air pillow, which was a nice edition I haven’t seen before.
I haven’t had a chance to use this in a real camping situation yet, but I’ll definitely be bringing it the next chance I get.

If you’re looking for a lightweight and compact camping mat that’s quick and easy to inflate and compact to carry, this Jemulice version could be worth considering.

It weighs just 1.85lbs – less than a standard bag of sugar – and compacts down to 26x12cm to slot into the matching drawstring storage bag. No need for a pump – this mat has its own internal pump with a leak proof valve and will inflate via stomping in a couple of minutes.

At 4″ deep, the waterproof mattress is comfortable to lie on. Another item you’ll not need to pack is that air pillow as there’s an integrated pillow around 6″ in depth. The mattress deflates and can be packed away quickly. Everything’s been thought of here – there’s even a 3 piece repair patch in the even of damage.

Side poppers allow 2 mattresses to be joined together to form a double sized version. Given the comfort, speed it takes to inflate and deflate and how very compactly this stores, one or more of these mattresses could also serve as useful makeshift guest beds if you’re short on space. Reasonably priced in my view given all this camping mat has to offer.

This is a cleverly designed camp bed which has a pump included. It goes up and down in no time, and I love that it packs down to a compact, self-contained package – easy to travel with and easy to store! Best of all you never have to worry about a pump. Pretty comfortable too – no camp bed is ever going to compare with a real bed, but this one is pretty good. If the worst happens there’s a repair kit included too! Great for camping and as an emergency guest bed. All in all pretty good value for 35.99.

Enjoy a good level of comfort when you are out camping with this JEMULICE self-inflating camping mat. It is the perfect outdoor mattress which keeps you off the ground and supports your pressure joints whether you are lying on your back or side providing better body and neck support.

This inflatable sleeping mattress is made from premium TPU and ripstop 40D nylon fabric. It is waterproof, weighs 1.85 kilograms, is 10cm/4.0 inch in thickness, with a built-in pillow and bubble air design. There is a built-in foot pump to inflate the mattress and the deflation process only takes a few seconds, just open the deflation plug on the pillow, then it can be folded up to compact size of 26x12cm that can fit your backpack or suitcase. thermoform sealing,

I like how it is made of high-quality fabrics and has a lightweight design that allows you to enjoy your travel. You can get comfortable and warm sleep after enjoying a long day of outdoor activities. The thickness provides a relaxing sleep and prevents the body from being cool and uneven.

It is Ideal for adventurous people who tend to go on a lot of camping trips. I go regularly with some friends and am pleased I can just relax on the mattress without the feeling of any discomfort. It is easy to carry and store in the storage bag that is included.

Overall, I would recommend this camping mat as it provides excellent comfort, is convenient to carry and have and is priced fairly for the high-quality.

Ok so let’s talk about the real positives of this matt. The matt is under 1kg and like all lightweight matts it is made of quite a thin material, however, it is very strong and will take a lot of weight. Light matts always pop at some point if you are using it on rough terrain but this has a repair kit with it and is very easy to fix.

The thing that puts this matt above some of the other top brands is the thickness, it really keeps you off the ground and that means a decent night’s sleep. The matt has not deflated once in the night whilst I have been using it and that means the valves are very good quality, like I said I have used pretty much all the top names matts of this style when backpacking and waking up on the hard ground with a matt that is empty is something I have experienced often.

The matt pumps up really quickly with hardly any effort and it packs down really small, despite what anyone will ever tell you when you are packing your sack, the grams are really unimportant if it means you get a crap night’s sleep. A bad night’s sleep means a shitty hike the next day so you want to make sure you have lightweight but not compromise on the quality of your kip.

This matt does it all for me, light and strong and keeps you warm, it is a decent weight and incredible value for money.

Don’t worry about not getting it into the bag it came in when you are packing it away, just stuff the whole thing into the bottom of your pack then take the time to roll it when you get back.

The mat has two inlets – the one at the foot of the mat contains the pump so needs to be opened to pump up. At the top another inlet is in the pillow section. Open this one to deflate. Pumping up took 2-3 minutes with the inbuilt foot pump without much effort at all, I was surprised about how quick and easy this was.

The mat is very long – so tall people will not have a problem, but people using this for camping in backpacking tents might find it is too long for the tent – so make sure you measure up if that is what you intend to use it for.

I was interested in using this for backpacking as the regular style bedrolls aren’t that comfortable, and the compact ‘self-inflating’ types (that you can blow into to get a bit more padding) add a lot more weight without adding much extra comfort. This one weighs about 810 g, compared to my bedroll of 145 g. Anyone who goes backpacking knows that every ounce/gram counts so I would have to think carefully about adding this to my pack and gaining a full 665 g in weight. Another backpacking consideration is how easy something is to get back into its bag/stuff-sack. Even in the comfort of my garden, I could not get the bed fully back into its bag.

I haven’t tried sleeping on it yet, but laying on it in the garden was quite comfortable and would definitely be more comfy than a traditional bed-roll. I liked having the pillow section as well to support the head. Perhaps I hadn’t inflated it enough, but it did rather give way under my weight as I moved around and as I compressed one part another part filled up with the air (a bit like squeezing a balloon). It is not as instantly warm as a bed-roll but the air inside should give as good, if not better, insulation from the cold ground. The material is quite thin and I would be nervous about using it to lay out in the sun in the open in the mountains or on stony beaches (as I can with my bed roll), but it would be fine inside a tent or on stone-free grass or sand. That said it does come with a repair kit if the worse should happen.

Due to its weight and risk of a puncture, for me, this bed is more likely to see action in the garden and on the beach than in the mountains.

Good for beach and garden, maybe not for backpacking

I think this is a great air mattress for camping. It’s generally easy to get it inflated takes about over a minute to where I want it to be and it’s very easy to deflate which can be done in under 1 minute..

I do find it relatively comfortable to lay on, however I do feel the individual bubbles at the same time which took getting use to. It’s very portable and easy to carry out and I love the feature where you can connect multiple of these air mattresses together. I definitely found these to be a good portable air mattress.

Hope you found my review useful.

I received this as a Vine item, which means that I have to leave a review within a certain amount of time. As such, I can say that although I haven’t used the mat in the wild so far, so can’t attest to its staying power in the real world, it is easy to use, quick to inflate and long enough for me at 6’2″. Where it is in fact too long to fit into a small tent is a slight concern.

In terms of weight, it’s not heavy but it does weigh enough to make you think twice about what else you want to pack (assuming you will be using it while backpacking). As with all these things, packing it up again after use is a pain.

My impressions so far are all positive but I will come back and report again if that changes after using it for a camping trip.

Are you can see it comes in its own carrier and really compact. Inflates easily by foot (under a minute and not strenuous at all). You get a few days when it needs reinflated.

It comes with a puncture kit, this is my second buy of this type of kit and the first time it has come with a puncture. Low and behold, day 3 it got a hole, the puncture kit is so simple to use and you get a few squares. You can cut to size or just apply the strip. You peel the back off and it is almost like sticky clingfilm, smooth on and leave for at least 4 hours before inflating/using. It has been fine since.

Rolls up easily and has snapper clips on the sides. Good for storing in a cupboard or putting in your bag for travel. We are between places so I take this, inflate, sleep on and easy to take back and forth, leaving it open for use, whatever is required. Wipes clean too if you are a spiller, 4.5/5.

    Quick and easy to inflate

This is a great little camping mat.
It has a built in pump that allows you to inflate the thing in 45 seconds. It is a manual pump, not electric, but it’s very easy and is up within 45 seconds.
It takes even less time to deflate, thanks to a nice big plug on the end that lets the air out.
The mat is very comfy when up, with no soft areas. It’s a perfect size for one person, and once deflated rolls up easily. It has press studs on the side, to keep it together, as well as a bag for storage.

As camping mats go, this sleeping pad from Jemulice is pleasantly comfortable. Up to 4 inches/100mm in depth, it certainly helps keeps the cold from the ground penetrating through to the sleeping bag. It is warmer and more comfortable than the foam roll-out mats that are commonly used in camping, and it is far easier to transport in your rucksack.

One of the key important factors for most campers is weight. Weighing in at just 800 grams, this sleeping mat is easily packed into a rucksack pouch and will barely add to the weight. It rolls up easily when deflated and can be stored in the bag provided. It measures just 250mm x 100mm when rolled correctly and placed in the carry bag. I like the fact this camping mat can be alternatively used as a single bed or, if you were to buy two, they can be joined together, using the poppers, to make a double bed.

The width of the bed roll is only slightly smaller than a conventional single bed, measuring 6 foot 6 inches by 27 inches, which is ideal to fit in a smaller, or one-man, tent. The camping mat even includes a puncture repair patch… just in case. Being made from a heavy-duty nylon, the bed is waterproof and very strong, so a puncture is very unlikely. I like this bed roll very much and it will accompany me on my next camping trip.

Got this for my son who is a young leader with cubs. He usually takes a roll mat on camps, but I thought this might be more comfortable. It comes rolled up in a little storage bag. It has instructions and they are easy enough to understand and are written in a multitude of different languages. Inflating is simple – unroll it out, make sure the value on the pillow end is secured firmly and then press on the opposite end where the pump is. It says to press the pump for about 50 seconds, but I assumed it meant just stand on it, but you do have to pump your foot up and down like you would do for a normal pump! It inflates quickly and feels good and firm when inflated. The pillow is good and is across the whole width, and my son thinks it’s very comfortable to lie on. Easy to deflate, just by removing the valve and squeezing the air out. The worst part was rolling it up tight enough to fit back in the bag. Good quality and much more comfortable than a roll mat. I like the fact that you don’t need a separate pump to inflate. It is a little bit expensive however, but it is good quality.

These pads are amazingly comfortable. They have integral pillows and are very quick and easy to inflate without a separate pump. Just repeatedly standing on the inflation pad (most ingenious: contains a sponge and non-return valve) gives full inflation in about a minute. Deflating and packing away are also completely straightforward and time-saving. Surprisingly small when rolled up.

I am six foot two inches tall and weigh fourteen-and-a-half stone, and I found the pads to be extremely comfortable with no part of me in contact with the ground, either on a hard flat surface or on grass.

The pads join together simply by using a row of poppers along each side, so that two or more can be connected to create a larger area, although I found it easier to use them separately. Also great for indoor use when you get a surprise guest.

    Comfortable and resiliant, rapid inflatio

This is a comfortable pump-up bed that is incredibly lightweight and, despite that, feels so comfortable to sleep on. I have tried it out in my back garden, laid back on the grass with this to provide comfort, for star gazing sessions. So nice not to be on the hard ground and it has proven to be durable and not a five minute wonder before it deflates. The integrated pump helps reduce bulk and ensures you never lose the pump and it doesn’t take long to pump it up ready for use. Once done, it folds away into a bag for storage.

A handy item to have for star gazing in the garden or for camping trips. It doesn’t weight you down and helps ensure a good night’s sleep can be had at the end of the day.

Folds up small and I don’t need a pump to inflate as it’s all built in which works very well too. Unroll the mattress open the valve on the pump and step on it about 50 times and it’s done. Takes only a couple of minutes to inflate then seal the valve. To deflate open pillow valve and roll it up. Simple. If you have more than one buttons are located either side of the mattress to allow jointing two or more together so perfect if your camping with the other half. Love the mattress.

Hopefully this will be really handy for my husband….. as he travels a lot as a musician and after a gig doesn’t always want to spend cash on a travelodge or B&B but is often miles away at the other end of the Country but wants to get home as he misses the dog!!

So, this says it pumps up in 50 second without having to use a pump as this is built in….and you just use your foot.

It means if he gets tired he can have a nap for an hour or so in the back of the van, but still get back on the road to be home before morning….(Our dog will be pleased!)

It looks well made and at 35 l think it is good value for money.
It’s already in the back of the van just in case….

Two big attractions with this sleeping mattress; it has an integral pump, so no need to carry a foot pump which, however small, is additional bulk and it’s light. It’s supplied in a carry bag, very neat and easy to transport.

By depressing the valve area with your foot, the mattress inflates very quickly, less than a couple of minutes, and with little effort. I have arthritis and if this was taxing, I’d soon know, but I managed easily.

The fabric seems to be good quality, it’s strong and well stitched throughout with no loose threads. All in all it’s a great product and it deflates quickly, ready to roll and store away in the bag provided. Ideal for camping, picnics ( I like a bit of comfort on hard ground) or the beach. Great buy.

A good sleeping mat with a good width of 69cm for broad shoulders , the length is also very good on this mat so should suit taller people.

Even though the mat is big when pumped up , it still packs away small and is under 1kg so is lightweight enough to take wild camping.

The best thing about this mat is that it is 10cm thick , it’s very soft and comfortable to lie on , it keeps you off the hard ground.

The built in pillow is OK, it’s quite big , I prefer to use my own pillow but this is still comfortable to use.

I think this is a good mat for family camping but also a good option for wild camping, even trekking if you don’t mind carrying a little extra weight for comfort.

This mat suits spring to autumn camping as its not insulated, but it is really comfortable to sleep on.

For the price it’s a decent camping mat for family camping or wild camping

Impressed by this sleeping pad for camping or just as a blow up mattress to use at home.

Once unravelled it took 1 minute to blow up using the built in foot pump and seconds to deflate. Rolling up isn’t too much of an issue either as I had it packed back in its bag perfectly on my second try. When out camping I don’t want to spend a lot of time packing away which is what makes this a necessity to bring along as it’s quick to set out and pack away and it’s comfortable too. So long as you get into it without diving on top should see you have a more comfortable night over sleeping on a tent floor.

I really like it and the built in pump is just ideal. You can add it with another for a double bed for those sharing or if you want more room, I found I had enough room to sleep without falling off however, I don’t move when I sleep so this could be different for other people. 35 seems to be the average price for these.

Built in sponge with one way valve acts as a simple but effective pump for inflation on the go.
Good grade material and valve caps for inflation and deflation are well fitted and don’t leak.
This also has the ability to join 2 together to make a double.
    It’s surprising comfortable and warm.

Wasn’t even difficult to put away rolls up and back in back just as fast as setting it up. Ideal for camping when on foot due to size and weight.
