Just what we needed for our wooden worktop to stop it getting too item is more off white cream colour not white which is fine as we have cream units , but would have been a little disappointing if you have a white kitchen , great drainer albeit very pricey for what you get but does have handy removable cutlery drainer and dish rack, spout drains water well , it does however have fair amount of sitting water so may need to dry off to avoid bacteria taking hold on the actual frainer or wash frequently, comes apart into 2 pieces easily for this so could put in dishwasher every so often , happy overall and looks better than traditional draine

Purchased as our new house didn’t have a draining plate beside the sink. This rack looks good and functions well as a bench top dish rack.

It took me a long time to decide to buy this but so glad I did , a bit pricy but very sturdy and well made. It keeps my draining board very clean with a lot less water after washing up as all the water runs out into the sink . Highly recommend , worth every penny .

Enhanced the storage space for cleaned utensil to drip dry. Drained water could be collected and discharged at one point without making the countertop of the sink a mess. The quality of the tray was sturdily built.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLooks great , nice & neat sitting next to my sink.
I am glad I have a dishwasher though as it does not hold a lot of dishes, cutlery, pots and pans etc. but it is great for just small cleaning jobs in the sink.
    Keeps the area looking tidy.
Am pleased I brought it. Love Joseph Joseph products.

This is described as white but is cream against my white sparkle worktop. It looks like it’s been in the sun so unfortunately is going back.
While I haven’t used the rack, I had it out of the packaging. It’s a good size, easy to expand although the spout is a bit stiff to turn.
I’ll be looking into getting a different one but am not convinced I’ll be looking for a JJ one.

    It’s not white, it’s cream!

It was the design that made me buy the product and at the same time, it also looked like it could fulfil my wishes of what I wanted to have in my kitchen. The product sure lives up to all my desires. It’s beautiful, and it works for me and I have no longer an ugly duckly dish rack in my kitchen. I’m happy I decided to buy the product. Joseph Joseph design and effectiveness of their products are great.

Seems absurdly expensive for a dish rack, but it’s lockdown, and I thought about how much of my day I spend washing up. It’s at least half an hour, and this makes that time nicer.

We have gone through two other dish drainers this year, so thought we fork out for this in the hope to prevent water building up in the drainer, and to prevent limescale (london water) building up on the surface that required deep cleaning every few weeks.
We have used it for a few weeks now and I’m so impressed by it. All water is drained to the sink with no water touching the surface underneath, and if there’s any collected on the drainer, you just tilt it slightly when it’s empty. It can be kept small or expanded easily, and the rack is sturdy holding the cups and dishes perfectly. 10/10

Great item. Because it’s expandable, it fits our smallish space really well. The spout is great for pouring water into our Belfast sink and the feet keep water from pooling on our wooden worktops. A great design and highly recommended.

  33. Klemen Breznikar says:

This is a great little draining board that’s well built with well thought out design. We’ve not got a lot of worktop space, so the fact that you can slide it in and out to reduce or enlarge is size is a game changer.
The draining funnel is a great addition too, meaning any surface water goes straight into the sink. Especially useful on our Oak worktop where standing water shouldn’t be left on top.
This isn’t the cheapest draining board, but you can see where the money has gone as it’s sturdy, and the metal rack with the rubber tips is strong, meaning no dishes fall over.
Over all I really rate this draining rack, worth spending a little extra on to get a really top quality product.

This rack is not only better looking than many out there, but I love the extendable feature so when not in use it is more compact. It is really easy to wipe down and keep clean and it holds a large amount of dishes. Can’t recommend it enough.

Our brand new bench and sink does not have any draining board, great sleek design but totally useless when washing up. We needed a drainer that had a base and directed the overflow to the sink. This is the only one we could find that remotely does the job. It does leak though, but only slightly. Much better over all design than others on the market.

A very nice sturdy draining board but on the countertop looks as it’s a spaceship trying to take off. The feet are very high, over 3 1/2 cm, so if you’ve got an open plan kitchen it’s not the best look. I can’t comment on the performance as I have returned mine without using it because it just looks too silly.

Big and spacious but feet way too high, and they leave a visible gap underneath

Great design, like the whole Joseph range. I wasn’t sure that it could held pans and saucepans but it passed the test with flying colours. The only downfall, we live in a very hard water area and it’s difficult to get the marks out of the cutlery holder.
Otherwise easy to clean and the self-drainage saves me time in the Morning.

When it comes to the kitchen a “one fits all doesn’t work”. I love a tidy kitchen and use a lot of space saving tricks. This steel rack visually becomes one with the steel sink. As you can see on the photo the only issue I have is I need a 2 inch extended spout, however I don’t think it would be a big deal as we use dishwasher for most of the kitchen stuff. I wouldn’t want to have the rack on the edge of the sink anyway if I have the space to shift it and o be honest. But Joseph and Joseph I do a lot of research before purchasing your items, and so far I’m a happy customer. Please let me know if an extended spout becomes available. 😉

I like the design and it seems well made, which you would expect for the price! I find that not all plates fit well and other things fall over. Especially poor is the cutlery holder which seems to topple if you don’t have just the right balance of things in it. Not sure I would buy another. Cannot fully recommend.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersLove this drainer It’s well worth the 36 I paid sale price.

I was a bit worried reading poor reviews on here. Would it drain? would it be too big?

For a small sink and drainer I have it fits well. It’s a tight fit but works well draining all the water off.

Once a week when cleaning you may want to take appart to wipe over and clean. As the bottom tray tends to get dirty with food and water. It’s not hard to clean or dry after use.

I love that it extends and can be folded in when extra room is needed. Tho I leave mine out full-time.

    Well worth the money!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing product. The best drainer I have ever purchased. You can stack your plates or bowls or pans in any direction you like. The cuddly pot can equally be moved to your desired position and sits there very sturdily. Mine isn’t even fully extended as my built in draining area isn’t very big and it still holds everything I need. The draining area for excess water is great but does get dirty quickly. You can remove this for a proper clean though. The colours match the picture also. Slightly off white or very light cream.

Fabulous extendable draining board. Great fit and the draining spout means that there is no build up of water. The cutlery holder fits on the board perfectly. Would definitely recommend this product.

Ideal for what i was wanting particularly the draining spout to drain straight to sink, plenty of storage space, find i always have it extended though, nly issue is that the 2 sections come apart when fully extended however stay suitable attached when sitting on the side of the sink, so no real issue only if moving it about alot.

One of the best purchases I have made this year, very helpful when my draining board is so small that I can’t hardly fit anything on but not now! I have mine sat on the work top open to full capacity with just the drain able to touch the sink. Well made, looks smart & no leaks.

We overall really like the function of this drying rack. It’s easy to take apart and clean. But it is a bit clunky.

My life has completely changed with the Joseph Joseph rack! I used to use dish drying mats and pile up dishes, glasses, pots and pans on them; always with the problem of leaving something totally soaked with water on my kitchen’s furniture. A friend recommended the Joseph Joseph drainer. Initially I thought it was too expensive but now I can say I’m very satisfied with my purchase. It’s very handy, can be extended as needed and it doesn’t leak at all. Super recommended!

What I was really looking for for a long time. Elegant and keeps my kitchen tidy and clean. No water puddles on it or on my working top. The only thing to be honest i miss is that it mainly holds flat plates more than pasta plates for example. Overall I am very happy with my item.

So far, so good.

Still going strong after a few good moths of using it. Due to the hardness of the water in the area the water marks sometimes stains so the dish rack needs a good scrub at least onece a week but generally a great product and good size for everything.

I really like the JJ products for their innovative design and practical approach. Looks stylish, but also functions as expected. Great that it is expandable. It was a bit awkward to find the way of packing the dishes on it,but you can get used it in a couple of days. Choosing the black version wasn’t the best decision I’ve made- the water/chlorine leave marks that get rather annoying after a day or two. It is easy enough to clean though. Would highly recommend

OK so lets get this out fo the way first, it is expensive but in my view worth the money. It looks great in our new kitchen. The fact that is expandable allows the drying area to be rearraged to make space for larger items on the counter top for example. Because I have solid wooden work tops have to be careful of water ..I bought a padded towel from Matalan to stand the drainer in which helps with water splashes which is perfect too – .it’s brilliant with the opening spout that can be adjusted to direct water into your sink & when you haven’t got many pots can make the drainer smaller and best of all it’s snall enough then to put away in cupboard undersink

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBig fan of Joseph Joseph stuff. Got a small galley kitchen with very little space. The drainer (once I learned how to set it up properly) works brilliantly and packs away neatly if I don’t want or need it out. However I have to be honest and suggest that the drainer at the bottom is a bit of a hit and miss. It’s a bit stiff and requires a very flat surface to drain effectively.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersCan’t recommend this enough. I absolutely adore JJ stuff and this doesn’t disappoint. It’s very sturdy and everything is just thought through so well. The rack itself comes away so you can clean it thoroughly, but fits in perfectly, and the cutlery pot sits into the rack perfectly too. It’s all ergonomically designed so that the water flows to the front centre and out of the spout underneath. The spout can be aimed in any direction, so isn’t fixed in place. The extension fits neatly underneath and is very smooth to pull out when needed. You can also lock the drainage off if you’re using it somewhere away from a sink. It came in a thick box with a carry handle as well

  92. ChangPasco says:

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersLike most JJ kitchen items, this is great. It looks stylish considering it’s plastic, and it works really well. The rubber coated prongs allow for all manner of items to be place horizontally, vertically or inserted onto them (great for washed baby bottles & teats), and the fact that it can extend easily gives you a very large surface area.

Due to the little spout, you don’t even need to rest it on a fixed draining board – it can happily sit alongside your sink and the water funnels into it. Once you’re done, you can slide it back to reduce its footprint if you like.

I really like that I can extend it when needed but keep it to a minimum most of the time, this gives me so much more space in my very small kitchen, probably something only someone with a small kitchen can appreciate! When it gets a bit dirty I just remove the metal tray and stick the rest in the dishwasher and it comes out sparkling clean again. I never thought I would spend so much money on a dish rack but I feel its been a worthwhile investment.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI find jhis products are excellent quality and useful, it shows the research involved to makes our lives easier. I often say finally I find the right product I had in mind , occasionally I make some adjustments at the ones I have bought from this company. Some item should be a bit larger or higher like the green cutlery holder you see in the photo . You can put in heavy or large things on it.
The colour of the items last well , doesnt stain and they are easy to clean.

I just love the design of this expandable dish rack from Joseph Joseph, expanding to take all the families washing up (three of us & 4 pets bowls) with the advantage of altering the size when there are only a few items to drain. Unlike others who have this on the worktop to drain into the sink, I use this on the draining section of the sink, and it’s just perfect! Expensive in comparrison to other well known brands of kitchen items, but it’s certainly well worth the money. As I have everything matching, my kitchen looks neat and tidy, just wish there were more colours rather than the dark grey and the off white & Apple green versions.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really like this drainer, looks solid and should last. However if I had to pay full price I’d think it’s a bit too much for a plastic drainer, I’m happy to pay for premium quality not for branding.
However I love the fact that you can close the drain so you can move it easily when cleaning.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe’ve not experienced any of the leaking between the two parts that others seem to have. This looks smart and is simple to take apart and clean. The wire rack isn’t as high as on a traditional dish rack so some taller items won’t stay standing up, but that is no real problem.

While this product is really good and easy to clean and has lots of good qualities, extendable, easy to clean, not having to wipe your draining board after every was up session etc I was a bit worried that it had no high sides but that hasn’t really proved to be a problem. However you do need quite a big draining board for it to fully extend. Bigger than the average I’d say

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersIt’s probably wrong to get this excited over a dish rack — but this is a seriously fantastic piece of kitchen equipment!
It’s a little larger than I was expecting even given the sizes stated on the website, but the good thing about this is you can expand or contract to suit the size of drainage you have available perfectly!
It’s a very practical design, it drains really well so you’re not left with a pool of water that will go stagnant — it’s just really pretty to look at!
