Very large dinosaur that will eat smaller dinos and cars etc. my 6 year old grandson loves his dinosaur and plays with it regularly. It seems fairly robust but I cannot comment on durability yet as he’s only had it for a month so far.
My grandson already owns a different SUPERCLOSSAL dinosaur, so I knew that this beast was going to be HUGE! The box it came in could house a small cat colony! His original Indominus Rex has taken a severe beating during the past 12 months and is still in one piece, so I would expect this one to be the same.
Now to think where I am going to hide it!!!

Il gioco come descritto, bello a vedersi e mio figlio ne entusiasta anche dopo diversi mesi per (c’ un per) la coda si rotta dopo una settimana e adesso il T-Rex va in giro monco.
Peccato visto il prezzo che si paga fondamentalmente per un pezzo di plastica.
Bought for my grandson’s 6th birthday. He loves it & even took it to bed with him! He only wishes it roared but still likes it a lot. The box was a little tore up, but the toy was not damaged & is awesome!
Ich liebe den Indominus Rex seit ich ihn zum ersten Mal im Film gesehen habe. Mein Kind ist gerade ebenfalls im Dinofieber und kenn die Jurassic Park/World Filme NOCH nicht. Aber der T-Rex ist dank vieler Bcher dennoch einer der absoluten Lieblingsdinosaurier. Also war der Erwerb dieses T-Rex so etwas wie ein kleiner Gemeinschaftswunsch von uns beiden.
Ich wollte ihn, weil er so perfekt zum Indominus (in gleicher Gre) passt und ebenso zur Szene aus dem Film in der beide gegeneinander antreten, mein Kind weil… Na ja ist halt der Lieblingsdinosaurier.
Er lsst sich genauso leicht wie der Indominus zusammensetzen, unterscheidet sich jedoch minimal. Er kann nmlich seinen Kopf nicht drehen, hat aber dafr im Schwanz eine Drehoption mehr. Auch das Mulchen ist etwas anders gestaltet und verfgt ber eine etwas biegbare Zunge. Beide knnen ihr Maul aufreien und sowohl Schwanz, Arme, Beine und Fe bewegen (der Indominus hat zustzlich auch noch drehbare Handgelenke).
Weiterhin hat der T-Rex etwas wabbeligere Fugelenke. Das ist ein kleiner Nachteil, weil er so beim Bespielen deutlich schneller kippen kann, weil sich eben mal einfach so ein Fu verdreht hat. Beim Indominus sind diese etwas fester und lassen sich nicht ganz so leicht verdrehen.
Ansonsten sind die beiden einfach cool und passen wirklich perfekt zusammen. Das Farbschema des T-Rex entspricht zwar nicht so ganz dem aus dem Film … aber EGAL. Beide Rexe halten gut was aus, sind (trotz leichter Kippanflligkeit) recht stabil und futtern fr ihr Leben gern. Egal ob kleinere Schleichtiere, HotWheels, Perlen oder Sylvanians. Ist das Buchlein voll, wird nur schnell die Klappe am Bauch geffnet und schon kann die nchste Mahlzeit beginnen.
In den Karton kriegt man brigens beide nicht mehr zurck, denn mit Schwanz sind sie einfach zu gro und ist der einmal dran, geht er auch nicht wieder ab (zumindest nicht ohne Gewalt).
Fazit:
Wir lieben Rexi und seinen Indominus Kumpel. Die beiden sehen einfach fantastisch aus!
Mein Sohn hat ihn zum 4. Geburtstag bekommen und ist total begeistert. Von der Spielzeugkche bis zu kleinen Autos und Figuren muss das arme Tier alles Essen und wieder ausscheiden Leider sind die Fe schnell verdreht sodass er um kippt. Aber das macht dem Spa keinen Abbruch.

As for the product itself; it is the length of a small Labrador and reaches my toddlers knees, so make sure you have somewhere to store it before you commit. It is relatively sturdy once you get the legs in the right position, but it can be a bit tricky for little ones to achieve. It doesn’t make any noises or light up or anything, but it does gobble smaller dinosaurs up, which my boys find very amusing. You can then get them back out by opening up the panel on his tummy!
For those parents who have downloaded the Jurassic World scan app and have since been suckered into collecting all the toys you can scan – this isn’t one of them. My son still thinks it’s ‘very cool’ though!
Overall, if you’re looking for a toy simply because your child is into dinosaurs, I would say there are more impressive ones to purchase for a much lower price. However, if you are purposely going for size over quality/your child is addicted to ToyLab Tv YouTube videos/they will only accept authentic ‘Jurassic World’ dinosaurs, then this is the toy for you!

I bought this as a present for my bc son got Christmas. He is a super Jurassic world fan and this was on his wish list for over a year. I also purchased the mini JW dinosaurs to match and play. I have to say I am so upset and disappointed that the jaw has broken!! It is not a ornament? It’s a toy to be played with!! My son is in tears!

It’s crazy big, and that’s awesome. My 6 year old loves it.
My five year old grandson absolutely loved this. He will not be parted from it and therefore it is great that it is sturdy. It is also good that it doesn’t need batteries and isn’t attached to a mobile phone and isn’t remote controlled. Actually, you don’t need those things because a five year old’s imagination makes up for all of that and he is perfectly capable of doing all the sound effects. He loves the fact that it swallows things and it may be worth checking the tummy compartment should small items go missing.

Bought 2 of these for my little boys who are dinosaur mad. They both play with them non stop and even insist on taking them everywhere we go even to bed. The dinosaurs are bigger than them. Keeps them entertained for hours.

Many dinosaur toys lack detail and often look fairly unrealistic, this however is an excellent representation of a T-Rex. My only minor gripe is that it lacks the few feathers that T-rex probably had, though this a problem with the Jurassic World film dinosaur rather than the toy.
It is absolutely huge – about the size of a small dog and may pose a problem for those with limited space. My son’s room is small and this takes up a lot of floor space and as there is nowhere large enough to store it that’s where it stays. You may find that this dino’s scale doesn’t match that of others that you have, and part of the intended appeal is that it can swallow small toy dinos in one go. There is some degree of articulation, though only at the hips shoulders and jaw. There is a little bit of assembly required, which requires a bold hand to go together – don’t be timid, it takes some effort.
My son initially loved playing with this dino, however he has lost some interest since then, though it does get played with from time-to-time.
If you have a dino-mad kid, I’m convinced they’d love to get their hands on this, particularly as its size is even bigger for a small-one.
This is just an amazing gift.
End to end, this T-Rex measures the best part of a metre. But just this measurement doesn’t do it justice – it *feels* big, with its oversized head and chunky legs. All the detailing on it is super high-quality: In no way does it feel cheap or tacky. It feels like a luxury toy. It’s a really, really impressive dinosaur. It’s hard to overstate just how imposing a figure it is.
It makes a firm centrepiece for any set of dinosaurs. Its ability to eat other dinosaurs is also sure to be a winner. The T-rex I was given to try out didn’t make any sounds – but with the size and build quality that it was, it didn’t really need to.
This dinosaur is huge! My son has had it since Christmas and has played with it consistently since then. The dinosaur can ‘swallow’ objects so my son has had it attack matchbox cars and toy soldiers (that then come back out so they can be eaten again!)
It does take up a lot of space but it’s been worth it for the amount of enjoyment it’s given.

I suppose it is a lot of money for what it is, as you don’t get any smaller dinosaurs with it. Luckily we have a box full of them that will fit in it!
This is massive! Arrives in a really large box, but still needs a little bit of assembly (tail and leg need adding which are in the back of the box). Once assembled he is poseable, so he stands up quite well. His mouth opens to swallow smaller dinosaurs (and other things) and then you can open up his belly to retrieve them. My son really likes this T Rex, but would have liked it better if he performed some kind of scary roar. Apart from that he has pride of place in his bedroom and has managed to scare one of the cats.

This Jurassic World FMM63 Super Colossal Tyrannosaurus Rex Figure is huge! This really is a fantastic action figure. The attention to detail is amazing, especially on the mouth and head, it’s almost too good to let children play with it. My nephew was ecstatic when he saw it. It stands upright on its own and the limbs and mouth can be moved and positioned. It is a little bit on the expensive side but it is very good quality.
It’s huge, it eats smaller dinosaurs and you can retrieve them from its guts (well, interior) via a trap door in its belly.
It stands up well, helped by the movable feet and the tail which acts as a counterbalance (just like the real thing).
A must for any Jurassic Park/Jurassic World fan.
OMG wow it’s bigger than most size dinosaurs, my son loves collecting all the Jurassic park. I did get charged customes and I had to pay fee but the seller soon gave me the money back

Usually when products claim something as profound as “super colossal”, you expect something that’s usually quite disappointing and failing to live up to its premise. Not this T-Rex though, good lord.
Now, I’m a 5’10 guy and this thing comes up just above my knee. It comes in a neatly presented box tied with string with a separate compartment for one of the legs and the tail. The instructions are woeful though if I’m honest with a single black and white picture but given the detail on the T-Rex, slotting the tail in place is simple if you follow the rivets for the scar on the underneath of the tail.
The other leg slots in too although it doesn’t feel initially very secure. I did whack it a bit to make sure it was in place but once it’s all together it’s incredibly sturdy. The tail is the one part that keeps everything balanced, just like a real T-Rex and it can move from side to side.
The compartment under the T-Rex is a little stiff but you can fit an awful lot into the T-Rex’s mouth. For test purposes I put a cat toy, my old Nokia 3210, playing cards and toys in the mouth and it all fit in perfectly. I can see that some of the bigger items may well get wedged in the neck if you’re forcing things down so that is worth bearing in mind for kids who are likely to force things down.
Having said all of that, 100 is an awful lot of money for a toy but for any child who’s a dino enthusiast, you can’t really go wrong with this. It’s massive and extremely robust, definitely recommended.

The T-Rex figure is absolutely incredible at first glance. The box that it’s in is 24″in length which is all dino and that’s not even with the tail attached — fully assembled its about 42″ nose to tail and about 21″ nose to floor. It’s not easy to take out the box without ruining it and the tail and one of the legs have to be attached which is done with a bit of force slotting it together and can’t be disassembled. I thought it may have been something that worked together but it looks like it’s all manual. You need to open/close the mouth, move the feet, arms and push the body down to the floor to ‘eat’ the dinos. It doesn’t make any sounds nor does it come with any dinos to eat — it states in the leaflet provided that it can store up to 26 mini dinosaurs but not all are compatible with it (there’s no indication which these are). To release them, just open up the flap at his stomach. None of the movements are very fluid so he’s quite unstable most of the time as the legs are repositioned. My child lost interest in it quite quickly because it wasn’t that user friendly but is still quite proud of it and will still ‘post’ toys in its mouth. It does need a lot of storage space though. So it does look impressive but doesn’t come with any additional toys to eat (they could have supplied 1!).
This is absolutely huge – think toy box shaped like a dinosaur and you are in the right ball park. It is a really fun way to get kids to ‘eat’ their toys rather than clean up at the end of play. You can eat not only the dinosaurs that are recommended but a lot of other smaller toys, as well to our daughter’s dismay a Barbie’s head as well.
Once the toys have been eaten you can easily release the belly to drop the toys out into a box or onto the floor again for further play.

Absolutely huge, and it is refreshing to find a young children’s’ toy that genuinely impressive with its sheer size. So many toys and play sets stick adjectives live massive and huge in their names and then don’t live up to them. This calls itself super colossal and totally lives up to it.
Legs, arms and jaws are articulated for action play, and the beast can consume objected into its stomach, which can then be emptied with the flap. Clearly that is intended for smaller dinosaurs, but since most children combined playsets it might well be Lego figures.
No sounds, which is a shame, but otherwise absolutely amazing. Where was this when I was a child??

This is huge. It is tough and robust and eats other dinosaurs , people and anything else that gets in its path, it has a very big mouth . When his tummy is full he has a hidden hatch in his tummy which opens up. My grandson absolutely loves it. It is an expensive toy but worth it. The only thing I would add is sounds as it does not make any and it would be good if it roared or had a grumbling tummy. But other than that a brilliant toy.
The dinosaur was delivered in a huge box with another box inside containing another box with the dinosaur. This is a Mattel toy and comes in 3 pieces — most of the body is already assembled; Second leg and partially jointed tail. For any collector that wants to preserve the presentation box, you have to have patience to remove the toy from the box without damaging it, it is secured with twine and plastic tabs. The dinosaur doesn’t need batteries and is made of strong plastic. You have to physically open the mouth but some of the teeth were very sharp and scratched me when one of the children closed its mouth on my arm so I had to use an emery board to file off the sharp edges before allowing my grandchildren to play with it. The leg has a small arrow on one of the plastic locating lugs that has to be aligned to affix it to the body, the same with the tail. There is an opening in the dinosaurs’ stomach, which is a bit stiff to open but it allows you to retrieve anything that he has ‘swallowed’.
This toy is huge, my grandchildren love it, especially because it can ‘eat’ their toy soldiers and farm animals. Matel are a well-respected toy maker and this toy is well made and will hopefully last for years but I am disappointed that they haven’t included at least one small dinosaur to be eaten, that would give parents an idea of the size of toy suitable to fit into its mouth and stomach. However, the children love it because he so big (Almost as big as our four-year-old). A great toy for any Jurasic park collector or for anyone who just loves big toys.

OK, having recently picked up a few other dino’s from the Jurassic Park range, I didn’t quite expect this one when I ordered it. It’s massive, its posable, and its a certain little boys absolute favourite dinosaur. So I know that this is going to be a huge hit on Christmas day.
Its easy to put together, is posable and above all else with all the added detail will not only give him something great to play with but also something that will hopefully continue to fuel his love of the creatures to which he knows details that I don’t have a clue about.
Add to this that I feel that its great value for money alongside the fact that you can give him other dino’s to eat (you have to get them seperately) and all round this is going to be a whole heap of fun. Roartastic.
This Tyrannosaurus Rex is huge! He (must be a he!) is made of tough plastic and is articulated so limbs can move. His jaws open wide and he can swallow other smaller dinosaurs. His stomach can then be opened to release them.
Most young children adore dinosaurs and our grandchild is no exception. I thought I should keep this until Christmas but I couldn’t resist letting him play with it when he visited. He loves it – and this T Rex should stand up to all the rough and tumble of live with a five year-old.
A bit pricey but our little one has already had hours of fun with it.

This is a good-looking T-Rex figure that is huge, with its full scale only being apparent after some minor self-assembly.
It arrives in an open-fronted display box and appears rather diminutive, that is until you open the box and discover a tail and a second leg hidden in the back of the box. Putting the bits together is easy enough and is totally intuitive; I found the leg pulls off easily but that appears to be how it has been designed.
Play is fairly limited; it doesn’t make any sounds and, although the legs and mouth move, that’s about it. You can feed it small dinosaurs, but it missed a trick by not including any (get some to go with it if you think that will appeal to the recipient and to avoid interest being lost). Otherwise, this would make a great feature in a child’s bedroom or playroom; sufficiently sized to be a focal point whilst still capable of being sat on a shelf, out of reach if necessary.
My grandson absolutely loves this dinosaur. It is very large & imposing, but also well made & robust & can survive the most energetic play from a 6 year old boy! Would definitely recommend this for any young dinosaur fanatic.

This is massive and is perfectly able to stand in different positions. My children love putting all the dinosaurs down it’s mouth. The only downside is that the door in the stomach is stiff and my children struggle to open this without help

This thing is big, when a 3 foot 4-year old stands next to it there isn’t a lot of difference in height so let’s call it almost life sized which is apparently a “very cool” thing.
There isn’t really all that much the kids can do with this thing. The legs move some, just enough to get the head in a downwards position to snatch up a figurine and the back up again to swallow. The head is made up of two pieces, the top head portion with eye balls and teeth and then the bottom jaw portion with teeth and a semi flexible tongue. When the jaws are closed the head still has a good upwards tilt rather than straight ahead at the level. The wee little arms have some movement as well but other than waving good bye there isn’t anything else that can be done with them. The jaw opens fairly wide, both top and bottom jaw pieces move, so that other toys can be eaten but what I just described covers all options other than that the tail can be moved from side to side. This doesn’t allow for a lot of imagination as the action is so limited. The kids did about 20 minutes of RARRRRING and eating everything from Hot Wheels to toy soldiers, small Lego figures, and gave the dog a good scare but after that they got bored and moved on. Over the period of a week there were only two other times where they pulled it down for about 10 minutes before moving onto other toys that had more potential for eating other things or crashing.
Where I see this really going is on the top of a shelf or counter as something to look at, my wife is already making a Santa hat for him, that is unfortunately where it will probably sit and collect dust until friends come over and just have to have a look to see what they can get down its gullet. The look here is well done so it makes a great collectors keep sake.
Where I’d like to leave him is in between the ferns in our front yard right next to the stairs where the mail man and anyone else who comes up the stairs will get a treat when the spot T staring at their ankles!
So while it pains me because I like this thing so much I have to dock a star for the lack attraction for repeat playability with the kids.
