Great quality-got it on sale so i was willing to try. You can’t really run it normally without modifying the shelf with the controller on it. I was able to run the motor sideways with the mount attached to the motor. See pics.

This is a must have product for the Kamado. Yes, it is fully over priced and could be about $150 but it does exactly want it says it will do, doesn’t have any problem turning the food on there.

KJ Branded accessories are just better than everything else. I did a whole chicken as my first cook and it turned out really good. The cleaning wasn’t bad at all but did require a little elbow grease. The motor seems to keep up with the full size chicken. Also I had no gap issues closing the lip on top of the rotiserrie but I also did use a bungie cord to keep the lid tight.

I’ve cooked a pork butt, 14 pound turkey, and a portion of brisket. They were all so good!

I waited for a few years to buy this for my Big Joe thinking it wouldn’t be that much different than cooking on the grill. There is no comparison. The self basting effect, and the perfect browning and crispiness are great. I use disposable aluminum pans directly under the food with the coals banked behind, and have not had any flare ups, even with the turkey. Not only the flavor, but the look and aroma during cooking are wonderful.

The food cooked on a Joetisserie is delicious!
