This has been well used in the garden for pruning and lopping, plus general diy easily cutting through heavy bits etc. Teamed with some additional blades this is a versatile tool.
I wish I had bought these years before I discovered them. Great for DIY as well as garden work
Bought this to replace an older identical saw. Robust as Bosch tools are, they don’t react well to being dropped 5 metres from a ladder onto concrete. Excellent tool, good value for money and long battery life. Would buy (yet) again, if the worst came to the worst …!
Just the job for a medium overgrown garden. Easy to use one handed. Recharges quickly. Easy to change blades. Blades used are not so common, but easy enough to get on Amazo
Got this to tackle old ivy too tough for my arthritic hands to saw, and ended up using it to free myself when storm Eunice brought down a tree bough across my my gate. It’s a good little workhorse and worth the money. I just wish the battery was detachable so I could clean the blade without worrying about accidentally turning it on.
Used this for the first time & I’m very impressed, after putting a full charge into the battery, I got about 6 hours of constant cutting branches before it started to get low on battery, quick to recharge again & ready to go, was cutting branches about 5 inches thick, the only downfall & found with the item is that the guard is not the best, kept sticking. But well impressed with this product though, did what I needed it to.
I have used this and found it pretty fair, its a lot better than the 10 volt one. BUT when pulling the trigger to run it, its too slow on the uptake. When you are ready to cut it needs to run at its maximum speed straight away. I think this is a case of the “elf & safety” brigade going mad again.
Just took a dead about 10 to 15 year conifer down using this. Strip the branches off pretty easily (like a kebab style action)
Then chopped the trunk in to sections. (15cm at the thickest I think)
Could do with using the other series batteries to keep them all compatible and get rid of the silly s-video style charger to something universal. They could probably be charged using USB-C/3 PD fast chargers if they look to a future product.
or just move to their “Power for All” concept.
Still overall did the job and I now have a tool for pipes and wood I can use.
Happy.
Noe dead hand chopping manually anymore, and easier than my jigsaw.
I cannot comment on the battery life yet as I only used it for 15 minutes after charging. I can comment on the weight of it, absolutely no problem to use and turn on. I can also comment on the stability of the saw when in use, quite thick branches cut with hardly any pressure and they didn’t move whilst being cut.
Now that’s a win from me!!!! Would advise anyone thinking about this pruning saw to think no more. I am a 74 year old female, I found it a joy to use.
This is really easy to use. I am not very handy at all, but the blade was easy to fit, the machine works very efficiently.
The battery life is short…when I use it I get under half an hour before it needs recharging, and that takes hours. Too be honest, that suits me as using a tool like this for half an hour at a time is probably a sensible option. It would be so easy to overuse it otherwise and cause damage to your wrists and hands.
In short, great tool if you are happy to work in short bursts…but not great if if you have a lot you have to do in one day.
This girl can, single mum, doing up her garden, it is so easy to use, battery lasts for about 3 hrs, so you can imagine the damage that can be done with a little gentle pruning lol….
Highly recommend.
Great for using when up a ladder and holding o
I do find I use this quite a bit in my ramshackle garden, but the power pack runs out after 15 mins use, and it struggles with hard wood like hawthorne. It can’t really cope with much more than a pair of loppers can. And the vibrations get you down after a while, really hurts your wrist. A useful addition to the toolshed, but limited applicatio
Battery lasts about 90 mins. Great tool and does exactly what you’d expec
Bought it to cut up bits of tree branches I’d cut down for disposal but its not very good with large pieces. Other than that though does the job.
Great product, quick to charge and remarkably powerful. Cut through shrub branches easily
Cleared a large dead hedge in 30 minutes.. would have taken a whole day with manual cutter – highly recommend!
Bought from warehouse so expected package to be open however, looked like it had been used.
I bought a replacement blade and am happy with performance
I have a mains powered reciprocating saw, but this cordless one is the one I use now.
Light and seemingly powerful enough for all the jobs I have thrown at it.
The jaw-like part is easily removed for normal sawing, but it does a brilliant job at steadying a tree branch whilst sawing it off.
I bought this on Prime day for under 50 and am very pleased with it.
It is a tough little saw, doing the job between a chainsaw and pruning tools!
Love it, really easy to use the yuccas didn’t stand a chance, usual good quality from Bosch.
Love it! So quick and easy to use. Small tree/Bush chopped up in 2 minutes. Haven’t tried it on thicker branches yet but can’t see it being a problem.
The good
Cuts very well
Light and easy to use
Makes short work of branches up to 2-3 inches
The bad
Battery life
Damp wood
This saw is an impressive lightweight electric battery-powered saw that is perfect for small tree branches and other lightweight cutting tasks. The saw can cut through small branches within a few seconds and the branch hook can easily be removed for larger branches.
For reference some things I have used this for include cutting a door in half, cutting wooden ladders, Christmas tree and small apple tree branches.
One thing to be aware of is it does not use the multi-use Bosch battery that comes with the Bosch drill which was disappointing. The saw uses its own built-in battery which I would estimate does not have more than 15 minutes of continuous cutting time. The blade included is very good on dry wood, but would not recommend it for damp wood as it did struggle with some thicker logs.
Overall this product does what it is designed for very well, at a reasonable price point. Blades are easy to replace so should be a reliable saw you can use for garden maintenance for a long time.
Perfect size for me to use in the garden for those tough to reach, thicker branches. Comes with one blade in the box.
It is fairly lightweight but has cut through medium sized branches. The V-shaped grip holds the branch in position whilst in use. I like the fact that I can obtain replacement saw-blades.
This is without doubt one of the best things I’ve ever bought for the garden (and my husband agrees – he loves it). I had been using manual pruners but as I’ve got older I’ve found them heavy going on bigger branches so I bought this – it’s wonderful. It cuts through branches easily even those several cm thick, and the safety mechanisms make sure you don’t cut yourself. It’s very easy to use although sometimes the metal safety cover does get in the way, and one battery charge is more than enough for a couple of hours’ work. The blade is very easy to lock in and release. I bought the set of blades for cutting metal but haven’t used those yet. Highly recommend.
Easy to use and handle. Can get into tight spots. Glad my family talked me out of a chainsaw and recommend this instead.
I bought this saw as my last one was broken. Very pleased with price and quality of it. It is very handy in places were a regular saw would be too big or if I need to get a job done quickly.
My chain saw stopped performing even with a new chain; so I purchased the Bosch pruner as an alternative. It works fine, and I have just finished cutting down a conifer with a 150mm diameter truck. The removable guide is a bit tricky to put on, but I am getting used to it. Generally satisfied with the product so far.

Great little saw with one issue – on first time of using it one of the guards either side of the blade got bent. Luckily it still works but it’s a little frustrating
Battery life is a limitation if planning to use for an prolonged period
This is a great garden tool for me as a female solo gardener. It takes the hard work out of sawing larger branches when pruning. Smaller branches are a piece of cake to cut, but I actually managed to use this product (without the grip attachment on) to cut a large main branch from an apple tree that was pressing my fence out of line. The circumference was way larger than what the product details said it was capable of cutting. I was well pleased that I didn’t have to call in a gardener or handyma
Cut back tree branches very easily with this little gem, though it needs charged very quickly.
Easy to use. Struggled to cut some stems but not only was this easy but very fast. I wish I had bought this ages ago. Expensive but well worth it.
Does not work as well as I had hoped you get a lot of vibration when using the branch griped extension, don’t think I would buy again.
This is an excellent tool for trimming frees, bushes etc as well as cutting timber for DIY projects. Battery life is excellent as is the ease of use.
This is a great complement to your gardening kit if you have a mature garden with lots of trees and bushes. The blade that came with the cutter has worked on lots of branches in my garden up to about 50mm diam. Yes, the battery does run out after intensive use but hey ho, that’s expected from a small LiIon battery. A recharge is pretty quick. Just recommend using the Bosch or good quality blades and don’t put too much pressure on them while cutting or it will stick. Overall, I’m really pleased with this addition to my armoury of gardening tools!

I thought that it would be a bit of a gimmick but it has turned out to be so very useful. 71 years old and still standing on top of the ladder in the apple trees pruning. Can’t be a bad aid to have.
Cuts well, recommend
*Buy additional blades this machine I bought for my wife to keep the lady busy in the garden while I watch, sorry as the supervisor from behind a cold beer
*It actually best described as a reciprocating saw capable of sawing steel as well as cropping pieces of hedge and branches
The guard takes a little getting used to but my wife liked it without the guard using it more as a fencing epee but explained it easier to cut with the guard so now we have the guard on all the time
I liked it very much on the whole but after very few outings the switch on this item is broken.
Preformed better than expected! For the price is a no brainer u less you want to hurt ur shoulder with a manual saw.. don’t hesitate and buy it !
I wasn’t sure this would be up to the task (taking 3ft off the top of an overgrown 14ft-long beech hedge) but it proved perfect for the job. Battery life isn’t great, as other reviewers testify, but is perfectly adequate for occasional pruning and non-professional use.
Clearly I didn’t use the pruner for all the work – only for the larger branches (4-7cm) and stems closer to the main beech trunks that were too thick or inaccessible for loppers. However the saw cut through these stems quickly and effortlessly; and the built-in grabber held them in place and reduced vibrations, allowing me to use the tool one-handed while holding the ladder with the other hand.
I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend the pruning saw for the sort of work outlined above.
It did the job efficiently and effectively – I had a willow that needed pollarding using the Bosch meant it took little time with little effo
Cut back my huge butterfly bush which was chore every year. This Bosch electric saw made it so easy. It cuts through branches like butter. It’s easy to hold and very safe to use. Battery lasted all afternoon, even enough left to cut up all branches into small pieces to fit into garden waste bin. Very happy with this handy new tool.
Very happy with the way this has tackled everything I’ve asked of it. Battery runs out more quickly when you’ve got larger branches to cut but that is as I’d expect. Excellent saw.
I bought this to create some log animals for my garden. It is so light and easy to use and does the job perfectly.
I love this tool, it’s made my hedge and shrub cutting so much easier. I had to find something lightweight, but sturdy as I suffer with arthritis in wrists and hands. I have a lot of hedge to cut and this makes the job a pleasure rather than a task for the thicker parts especially. Very happy!
The only disadvantage was that the battery went flat quite quickly, otherwise love it.
Very easy to handle and use. Ideal for the garden and shrubs that needed taking out. A good purchase
Used to cut back a large bush. Worked well up to 3 inch branch
Amazing performance! Very easy to use.
However, battery life could be improved. Mine lasted 15 min of continuous work, then takes about 4 hours to charge…
I would highly recommend for small jobs.
I bought this for cutting down branches in our garden. It is amazing! So easy to use, has a safety guard to grab hold of the branch while cutting and even keeps hold of one end once it is cut. I have been going out everyday (big job), the battery lasts about 2 hours using it non stop. I found it cut branches between 20-40mm best but did cut some up to 60mm. Overall great tool to have, definitely recommend.
difficult to hold and start up and keep going with one hand

Not as easy to use as I thought but kinda does the job
The KEO garden saw performs very well though it would seem from the instructions that it is intended to be held in one hand. I found it far more comfortable and easier to use by applying downward pressure from the top surface. I really only have two niggles which prevents me from giving the item the full 5 stars. 1. When I got the saw and charged it up ready for use, it only runs very slowly. I was convinced at first that the on off switch was faulty and indeed almost returned the item. However, trying it out, I discovered that the sawing speed increases dramatically as pressure is applied to the branch being cut. It would seem that this is a deliberate function, but it would have been helpful if there was some mention of this in the instructions. Indeed I only failed to return it after looking on the internet and seeing other comments about this and so decided to try it. Rest assured, it does work and works well. 2. My other niggle is the fact that the safety switch, which has to be pushed in either direction to allow the main trigger switch to work, is hard to operate with one hand. Again two handed operation seems to be required. Maybe it depends on the size of your hand. Once started, the amount of pressure required on the trigger switch is more than I would like. I’m a 73 year old male, not exactly weak, but found the trigger very heavy.
Despite these comments, the saw appears to be well made, does what it’s supposed to do and does it well giving a good clean cut. The mechanism for changing blades is easy to use. I have no significant concerns with it and feel that I now have a very useful tool for garden use. Bearing the above comments in mind, I am still happy to recommend this item.
This does a pretty good job on branches a couple of inches thick but might struggle on anything thicker. Was a great help in clearing a thicket of overgrown dogwoods. Battery does run down fairly quickly.
This hand held battery saw is perfect for those pruning jobs that are too much for loppers.
Nice and light weight only capable of cutting small logs
This tool is amazing, it’s cordless, lightweight and I’ve been able to cut back overgrown branches all around the garden without having to pay some to do it.
Got this on offer. Quite an item and is easy and safe to use.
Great for cutting down trees, very easy to use
Light and had good battery life
bought to help with tree and heavy shrub trimming just as the weather broke, have used it a few times and it does the job as you woudl expect from a Bosch product, looking forward to getting more work done with it soon.
Perfect tool for awkward thick branched shrub. I could not have achieved the outcome by hand. Speedy outcome. Guard was removed to get right into the trunk.
Brilliant tool. Exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended. Does a wide variety of tasks and performs well above its weight.
I find that sawing branches is easier when a branch is under tension. i.e. held against a rigid surface. I was taking down a large Ivy bush and it was difficult to manipulate in places. The battery did not last as long as I would have liked – 20 minutes. Overall, I expect that this item is as good as any other cordless saw and will do the job you want – eventually.

Purchased as a gift for my wife and she loves it. Light, easy to use and easy to charge, it has proved extremely useful with a decent battery life. Would definitely recommend this garden tool.
Wonderful! Works like a dream. Able to do big jobs myself with ease. As a 64 year old woman, on my own now, it saves me a fortune getting in workmen.
This is a brilliant garden asset. If I can use it then anyone can. I don’t have to ask for help from family members for so much now.
I found removing the guard a bit tricky to start with but soon got used to it.
I have used the saw for pruning my cherry, plum and greengage trees,
also cutting back other trees and shrubs. I will be pruning all myapple and pear trees in due course.
Saw easy to use, not too heavy so can be held easily in one hand, if I find it easy and useful it must be I’m 74 and have to do all practical jobs as my husband has become disabled.
This is an outstanding tool I use to it to prune my plum trees and done them in a fraction of the time than with a hand saw .
lightweight and easy to use around the garden , my only dislike is the poor connection to the charger, the plug easily falls out and the plug cover broke off almost at once, apart from that a good buy
I was a little apprehensive buying this, but did so because it was lightweight.
I have used it a few times and I am pleased. It is light, and works well. It easily prunes branches 40mm thick and quickly and easily cuts them up for firewood.
I was expecting to be able to use it without the ‘hook’ but it bounces about without it.

Just only recently received but am v satisfied with some lightweight jobs in cutting quite thick branches.
I have been busy pruning and found the Keo extremely useful.
The saw is simple to charge and simple to use. It’s also very effective. Battery life is quite short but then I won’t be using for long periods of times, just pruning branches here and there. Would recommend.
Perfect for pruning trees battery lasts me long enough to get job done. Not lightweight but not to heavy to use.
Woweeeee fantastic tool, thank you. I did a lot of research into electric pruning saws. Was worried by some of negative reviews that I read about the Keo so glad I ignored them. I wanted to cut my bay hedge back hard. This was on the side next to neighbours by low wall. The hedge is 6 feet high with some thick branches. Being able to reach in one handed so useful. Brilliant cut and quick. Our 30 foot hedge took us a morning to cut back hard. Only needed recharging once. This of kit is essential. Cannot praise enough. Price is so worth it and cheap compared to the time it saves. Great invention Bosch. Arrived shortly after order great thank you.

This was one of my best buys ever. I have a touch of arthritis and was finding some jobs too demand. This saw has enabled me to carry out jobs that I had difficulty with before. Thank you Bosch and Amazo
Bosch Keo cordless garden saw.
I use this for those awkward places where there isn’t the room for a pruner (saw).
You can use it with or without the guard, but I prefer the guard as it locks onto a branch (not literally!) just to steady it while the little saw does it work.
Only down side – it doesn’t come with it’s own storage container. Bosch let themselves down on this.
