Great family & party fun, in the 1960’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 20’s & now 5 DECADES later, better than any PC or Console game, think 1st on sale in 1967, that’s when we bought our 1st, superb fun for both children & adults
10/10
This game just brings back so many childhood memories so I was delighted to be able to introduce it to my own family. We have had great fun together playing this.
Bought for a family games night and the kids love it!
Used to play this as a child excellent the kids enjoy
Lovely game, tho I changed the rules which allowed longer words to be created making the kids stretch their vocabulary
Great for travelling and fun game for children my children are ages 6-10 and love this game!
Brilliant game, totally reminds me of my childhood. So easy to play and build. My nephew’s have spent many hours playing together and on their own.
I remember this as a kid , great game , can’t wait to play it with my daughter at Christmas . Great price
We love this game. Wouldn’t recommend if travelling as its quite noisy but a great compact game to take with you.
We love this game and bought this version to get updated questions! So easy to set up and understand. Definitely worth the money
Bought for my 6 year old daughter. She’s really good on it. I had it in the 90s and it’s pretty much the same just a different design.
I thought it was good value . A great game that gets you all laughing . Easy to assemble. Recommend this .
Bought this game for my friends little girl and she loves it. Brought back a few memories of my childhood too.
Just as much fun as I remember, but maybe not as big. But as are memories from childhood and my grandkids love i
This game was on sale so we bought it to play with our grandchildren. Aged 8 and 5 they loved it. Happy memories to when our children played it many years ago still as much fun.
Bought for my 3 year old grandson he loves it we have great fun playing this. Laugh a lot when nan gets caught. Easy to understand and play. Good for teaching taking turns.
A game for all the family even my 6 year old joined in. Size is handy for camping. The only thing I can see happening is the plastic case breaking because of being packed etc.
My nephew loves this game. Sturdy parts for heavy handed 3 year olds. Good value for money as cheapest I found and I love playing this game to.
Bought for a laugh for Father’s Day, thought it might be put away unused, but provided a good laugh that day, and family insists it comes out for other occasions. Good, lighthearted fun.
Although not that sturdy when trying to put together once it is, it holds well.
This game never gets old for my 6yr granddaughter – she loves playing it.
Its robust and easy to put togethe
Well liked game, keeps kids amused for a wee while on a games nigh
Good entertainment, good family game, helps daughter with her spellings
What’s not to like? Good price, great family game and a time killer.
Bought second hand to keep us amused as we now watch very little brainwashing tv!! Took me back to my childhood – though I’m sure I was better at it in those days!!
Well this has turned out to be a wonderful gift for my niece, age 11. A set of cards has been sent to each household and wednesday evenings during lockdown have been (and still are) scattergories via whatsapp video call. Enjoyed by the adults (age 40 to 80) and children (age 9 and 11) and has kept us all going. A group of adults would enjoy this without children, mixed ages or chldren could play on their own. Really good game.
I loved the original Bop It with the 4 things to do.
This is great fun but the maximum it goes to is only 100. The original one went to at least 180…
Good fun but I do prefer the original desig
Really good game for the whole family , lots of laughter and good to activate the brain cells which aren’t currently getting much of a workout ! Can just play a quick couple of rounds or a longer challenge . Easy rules and doesn’t need any extra equipment except a pen or pencil . Highly recommend this game .
Not what they use to be, now have to assemble each one used – why can’t you just put it in the box as it should be ?!
Never had a bop it as a kid yet I always wanted one. Now that I’ve got kids I had to get one for them. Also bought it for them to learn how to focus and have fun. They love it but I love it more. I might have subconsciously bought this for myself really as it gets addictively fun.
Hands down the most fun you have with marbles.
Interestingly this doubles up as a great ammunition store for marble wars and/or any Kevin Mccallister style anti-burglar devices you may need to set up whilst on Christmas Holidays.
Fun for the whole family & home security. Win-Win.
Lovely game, easy to learn and is as challenging as your competition.
Only real complaint is that to stop the dice from rattling when used as a travel game you have to keep some of the packaging. This in itself isn’t a problem apart from there is nowhere to store the instructions neatly as the packaging is molded to the dice. I’ve squished the instructions in, but they are now rather crumpled which is a shame.
I am a huge fan of boggle and played it since j was younger so obviously I had to get it for my daughter. This being a travel one is smaller , so ideal for less space although I did love the original boogle for its size and ease of seeing. This will be a great additon to our games night so happy boggling!
I was worried reading the reviews after i bought this but shouldn’t have.Me and my 3 kids love this.I even managed to get my 14yr old of his computer to play this as a family
Hasbro has always been a top brand but this was rather clumsy/ill fitting to put together. But it does what it’s supposed to & considering the cost it’s not a bad buy at all
Perfect value for money was alot cheaper from amazon. My little girl loved this for Christmas
Hungry Hippos is a classic game. My son loves it as it’s simple and he often wins!! His version has a neat feature of breaking down for storage easier and has a pot for the marbles. Do be careful though as although there is a slot on the underside for the pot it isn’t held very firm and can easily come off. Overall though a good buy and we’ve since purchased as gifts for other preschoolers as it’s an easy fun game.
My daughter spent all day playing this then forgot to take it upstairs. At which point several adults who had consumed a unspecified quantity of alcohol decided to rekindle childhood memories. Needless to say…this game is still as enjoyable as I remember.
Always a great game got it for Xmas day to play with guest’s
Easy to assemble and fun to play, pain in the a** to tidy up after but I like leaving that bit to the kids. Bought this on a Black Friday offer so cant beat the price, great family game and fun to play together. Gets lots of use
Prompt delivery and good value. Purchased as a stocking filler for Xmas prese
Bought as a Christmas present, but remember playing this as a kid and had loads of fun. Does look smaller than the original but haven’t opened so cannot comment on size
Bought as a gift but my daughters had this game and enjoyed it.
Bought for my niece, she loves it and also enjoys playing different games with the sticks
…you don’t because you always lose. It’s a simple game. You shake the box and then allow the cubes to fall into the sixteen holes. You then have a short time to work out as many words as you can. Obviously Mrs Reviewer is smarter that me because she can always find more, sometimes considerably more than me. Words can be made by connecting adjacent letters, up, down, sideways or diagonally; some of them are fiendish. For those worried – or excited – by the possibility of certain four letter words turning up I have to tell you Hasbro are one ahead. The game is designed to make sure that won’t happen! Great fun.
Bought game for nice who loves the game very interesting game takes a bit of skill to play
A little plastic looking and tiresome to set up, but good fun to play
Takes a while to set up but a good game to play with the family
A new take on the old version but just as much fun.
Good old fashioned interactive game for the family. Though it is easy to fall apart.
his will keep the youngster amused for a long time , good toy/game, even parents will get involved with this game
This is one of those few family games that you can all enjoy without having brain strain. Its unsuitable for real young children because of the marbles and sharp points. Children a little older than this will struggle because they ned to be patient and dexterous but its quite fun and unthreatening (unlike scrabble that always seems to be a inter family war).
Bought for my 5 year old grandson for Christmas. Its a game my children all loved and I bought it so that I could play it with my grandson when he comes to our house. I cant wait for Christmas as he loves playing with marbles so I am sure he will enjoy this game.
Kids love it! Just goes to Show that the Oldies are still worth buying
I was a little apprehensive about buying this due to the experience of previously buying the poor quality Hasbro Guess Who game, but fortunately this time they have managed not to ruin this version of the classic game by poor quality manufacturing and design. This one will stand hours of playing.
My 4 year old DD loves this game. It’s fun (she even enjoys playing it alone!) and it’s good for developing strategic skills – she’s learning how best to place the sticks to avoid the marbles falling through and she’s learning how to think about which ones to pull out. It seems fairly sturdy too.
Good product just a bit flimsy other than that its good easy to set up
brillian game, and my wee boy loves it from the moment he opened it. Great for all the family to play and even better when you win lol. which doesnt happen that often, easily assembled and easily put away too. keep an eye on the balls as they are choking hazards for the younger ones, but great fun and great times with your young ones.
I had a lot of fun playing this game as a child back in 70s/80s…..I’m delighted to repeat it is as much fun now as it was then, and both my kids (5 & 10) love playing it….good, clean, non electronic (!), family fun.
Still a classic, loads of fun, but not as well made. Consists of thin hard plastic, so I would advise care to prevent breakage. Only takes a few minutes to put up, though longer of course to put in the straws! Good value game, before the age of computer screens, which proves how simple ideas can be fun.
Grand daughter loves this as it makes her think about which rod to pull out. Tedious setting up though.
I personally would seek out an original one of these however until then this is a bit of fun and sorts out who makes the cuppas tea
Regards Mr G
ot as good as the ones when i was younger but still good fu
Not like it used to be. The new design has some flaws:
– Marbles get stuck in the spiral tubing on the way down if they are not seated ‘perfectly’ (which is you tweaking it until one side is higher than the other)
– The top marble/straw cage isn’t very robust and only lightly sits on top of the tube making it hard for more than one person to put straws through.
Still the same game over all, but I’m not sure the changes have made it better.
I was very pleased with this product. Easily constructed; brightly coloured; the marbles run down the shute really fast giving an added excitement. Easy for young players to be included. Only criticism was that it is light and with young players needs a steadying finger on the main stem. That said it provides a lot of enjoyable pleasure and excitement.
Game arrived intact and well packed within the given delivery period. This is a gift so has not been opened yet but everything looks ok. Loved this as a kid and sure my niece will too.
My daughter loves it. It’s a very good game you can have endless amounts of fun with it and I would recommend this seller the package came on time ready for me to rap it for an Xmas prese
This was a christmas present and was very happily received. Great purchase, would recommend it to people to buy i
Good game but not as sturdy as an older version we had. Plastic tube and cup come in 5 pieces. Marbles sometimes get stuck in the tube on the way down. You used to turn the base round so marbles fell into different dishes for each player in this game they always fall in same place and you have to pick them out for your dish. That said it is still a good game.
hey just don’t make them like this anymore, my heart was racing when I had to pull that tiny plastic stick out of a big plastic bowl (is it a bowl? we will call it a bowl) I thought I had made but OH NO! there was an eruption with inside this bowl, hundreds maybe even thousands of wee marbles came spiralling out from the bottom, I had that sinking feeling that I had lost because I had lost. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves action or adventure but certainly not both! I will be now touring the world in sight for the best kerplunker of all time. god speed!
I can remember playing this as a child and i bought this for my 5 year old daughter for her birthday (not me) but i know she will love it, also all the family can play! Great Price and fast delivery
Good game, my 6 year old loves it! Keeps her busy for a long long time, especially when friends are round playing.
My grandson enjoyed this game which he had as one of his Christmas presents. His sister enjoyed playing with it too.
