I bought this for my 5year old great grandson, and he absolutely loves it so it’s for keeps now. But the illustration suggests, in my opinion, that the “breath pipe” has 3 positions, and it is in fact a static pipe. It does remove to allow for the item to re-fit in its bag, but does not have a “tilt facility. I would buy it again but believe the seller should make the illustration for advertising the item a little more accurate.
Fits my 9 year old son perfectly and gives him the confidence to put his head underwater. Comfortable, leakproof and doesn’t steam up.
The mask is well made and comes with a mesh bag for storage. Provides clear 180 degree vision.
Great value for money and far better than a traditional snorkel and mask. Will be coming on many holidays with us.

Whilst my daughter is fine with one of these so far, my son is not enthused. You are better off with a separate mask and snorkel – there is less chance of misting, it is less claustrophobic, and it is easier to clear any water that gets in. Also, hippo is not as good a design as shark, infact, which child adores hippos? None is the answer.

This kid’s full-face snorkelling mask has served my little ones well while we were on a short break.
My daughter reported that the mask fits well and it was much more comfortable than first anticipated. She was especially impressed with the auto-locking mechanism of the valve when she dived. She stated that it was clever that the valve will release due to gravity and lock because of buoyancyall the engineering gaff gets my head spinning but she apparently understands it. All that is important is that it works, which it does, brilliantly.
This is a good size for a child’s face as opposed to an adult mask and snorkel. The mask and snorkel are combined in one apparatus, which makes things easier on a small head. My six-year old niece has become very interested in fish and likes to watch them underwater when she is at the coast. She is already a good swimmer, so this is ideal to give her a clearer view of life underwater.
I love these snorkel masks. I got this for my Godson for his holiday as me and my husband got some a couple of years ago for a holiday and had such an amazing time snorkelling I wanted him to have the same experience.
It is a really cute little mask in the shape of a Hippo. You can fit the mask onto the face and breathe through it without taking in water or having to use a traditional snorkel which I personally as an asthma suffer hate!
He loves it, he practiced in the bath first to get the hang of it. It is water tight, comfortable and gives you some reassurance whilst they are in the water. At the current price of 20.98 it is excellent value for money.

Having been on holiday recently, I noticed the kids struggle with the concept of a traditional snorkel and mask so this full face mask is an ideal alternative.
It means the snorkel is not used independently and is actually part of the mask itself. This means the person using it can just breathe normally whilst looking at fish etc. My kids find it much easier to use and use it every time we go to the beach. Highly recommended.
Used by a 6 year old and she had great fun with this in the pool on holiday. After a bit of instruction and supervision was quite happily swimming away scanning the bottom of the pool. It has a warning about CO2 build up, but if breathing normally (no shallow short breaths) then the air will be moving though as any regular snorkel does and should be fine. As this is designed for kids then guess they will always be supervised and not to used for long periods of time and on the surface.
Product did not fog up and has great visibility and fits very well.
I love snorkelling and exploring the wonders of the underwater world. For some time I’ve wanted to share the delights of this experience with my grandson. We both had new masks to try out so we headed for our local swimming pool. A child of eight years may be easily put off by strange sensations but the mask was easy to use and the soft silicone rubber fitted his face comfortable and prevented leakage. The cheerful colour and Hippo design also helped to make the experience exciting and not frightening. Having had problems with CO2 from my own previous masks I felt reassured that this one had separate channels for inhaling and exhaling. As a bonus, I found his swimming was improved as he was able to lay flatter in the water and move more easily.
This is a great kids full face snorkelling mask that is perfect for beginners and our little one is actually excited to wear it which is great. So we ordered this for our three year old son ready for a trip we are planning to take next year when he will be practically four and we are hoping to get lots of snorkelling in so it would be great if he can get involved too. The mask currently fits him pretty well which is good as it says for 4+ so I was a little concerned but it fit him now and will probably fit even better next year.
The mask has lots of great features to help make snorkelling easy, it is full face to mean natural breathing is okay and this is ideal for very young children who might struggle to get the hang of controlling their breathing. I really like that the air tube moves to try and stay above the water line and has a stopper to help prevent water flowing into the top of the air tube.

This fits her face well at 7yrs old and seems to make a great seal, the safety ball to stop water seems to work and she is so happy with the hippo face.

This us like a security blanket for children when they’re learning to swim underwater as they just breath normally. It’s quite heavy but when it’s in the water of course it’s weightless. Very well strutted with great seals ensuring water doesn’t come in . The top breathing tube will automatically stop water entering. We snorkel on holidays so this will be a pure upgrade for the children. I’ve see. Others wear them and seen how good they are.
