These filters are necessary for the hot tub. They do the job and keep the water clear, they do need to be changed regularly but are cheap enough to do so, to be recommended.
I needed some spare filters for my Lazy Spa, and one of the large DIY stores did not have them in stock when I last visited the store, because it wasn’t quite the season, so I found these, exactly what I need, maybe more than I need but they will not go out of date.
Did not fit precise. Not exact fit, slightly larger, diameter than should be. My Lazy spa kept beeping with these, within an hour of fitting them in as best as I could.

One usually lasts about 8- 10 days then I change it. When grandchildren in with long hair lasts about 4 days
At the price I don’t try cleaning as made of a type of paper. Some people put in dishwasher when have a few but I’ve not tried washing them this way.
The are good for my lazy spa Miami as the do last for a good few weeks before you have to put a new filter in and if you buy a big pack of 12 the will last you a good couple of mouth’s and the are good for keeping the hot tub water clean and sanitised I’ve used cheap ones before and the don’t last so I always buy good quality filters

I had been dithering over whether to buy a foam filter as I had used one with a pool in previous years but had heard some horror stories about bits clogging up the pump. These work really well with the lazy spa and get a lot of material out of the water. Work best with pool clarifier. The only down side is that they are difficult to get clean, my friend uses a fine strip attachment to his tap and that works but normal pressure works just about ok for a couple of washes.
Arrived quickly. If you run them as a pair, removing and rinsing one and replacing with the other each time you use the spa, they last pretty well until eventually they become yellow and need to go after several weeks (but you get 6!)

These are not easy to clean because they are not really designed as something you clean out and use again. We shower before we use the spa but you still get scum and nasty stuff building up in the pool, these filters do a good job of collecting it. Trying to clean them and refitting them will only mean putting a partially scuzzy filter back in your spa!

It fits most spa inflatables. Easy to replace and pretty good value for money. We have never managed to clean the filters reasonably well.

Excelent for filtering unwanted excrement out of yojr hottub, pro tip clean it every day takes 2 secconds you will not regret it they will last along time if you just whip it out hose it down and stick it back in jobs a good one.

Given this product five stars as not fair to give it less when I cant try it, but I wrote this quick review just to say that I ordered these for our Intex spar pool as replacements for the Intex S1 filter. I was told that intex and Lay-Z spa are cross compatible but this does not fit in our Intex spa pump. This filter is about 5 mm too long and the hole in the centre is slightly bigger than the proper S1 filters from intex.
Based on the price I wasn’t expecting original filters, but they are.

Much cheaper than the recommended Intex cartridges. Clean really well after soaking in vanish, just rinse! They are a little longer than the Intex ones so first use can feel a little tight as they bend inwards slightly – this hasn’t effected the performance. Really pleased to get a years supply at a good price.
Kept spa nice and clean. Not sure if it is me, but it doesn’t clean very well, maybe I need to research how to clean it properly.
Fits perfectly for layz spa las vegas. Good tip to learn is that these can be washed on a quick wash in washing machine (in a pillow case).
It prolongs the length of the filter, as they should be changed every 2-3 days.
Bit of challenge to reliably get these bulk packs, but if you can this is a very good value way of getting the VI filters. Normal pricing for much smaller packs makes these exceptional value, but check pricing regularly and aim to purchase in the window when Amazon themselves have them in stock as usually best value.
Depending on the dirt in your spa, and your attitude to cleaning, I’d say you could get a minimum of 2 weeks per filter up to a couple of months if cleaned – so good value.
If you have a Lay-Z-Spa keeping the filters clean and the water chlorinated is essential. This pack of 12 will last a long time. They can be cleaned and reused but eventually, need to be replaced. I recommend swapping them more regularly as this keeps the water cleaner and makes them easier to clean. Genuine product via Amazon Prime.
I have a lazy-spa Vegas hot tub and buy these regularly, swift delivery. Easily washed out with a hide and then into the dishwasher, can re-use them a few times. However, I presume due to the higher demand during the nice weather in lockdown, they have risen quite substantially in price, as with all accessories for hot tubs

Bought this product twice now, filters delivered without any damage or issues.. I’ve had a bestway lazy spa vagas now for 3 years and have used these filters throughout, they are very easy to use, very to replace, very easy to clean.. (can clean the filter daily or every couple of days with a garden hose turn it to the jet setting or rinse setting on the hose if you have one or press your finger at the top of the hose to make it like a jet..) if you are keeping on top of the spa chemical wise and washing these out say 2 to 3 times per week then this filter set should last at least a year if not a couple of years so well worth the value for money. There is a massive difference when the filter is dirty or no filter you will struggle to keep the spa clean and will notice it smelling thus having to remove all your water and clean and start again which costs both time and money.

Need the special hose attachment if you want to have a go at cleaning these, not so easy without so dont bother.
Cheap enough so that after a couple of washes you can dump them and efficient enough to be genuinely useful. These, along with sterilisation chemicals are an utter essential of hot tub maintenance.
When you have a hot tub you need to keep on top of the chemicals but also the filters need changing frequently.
I change my filters every 3 days and I don’t just throw the old one away, I flush it out with hot water and then steep it in a tub of chlorine water.
I find my doing this I can keep using the old filters for a few more weeks before then need to be thrown out.
Exactly the same as the branded version of filter for or lay z boy spa, but so much cheaper.
Also, provided you don’t let them really filthy you can put them in the dishwasher and extend the life! Better for the purse and environment. Win wi
The filters come wrapped in plastic, in pairs which is great for keeping the rest clean until you need them.
I also got the display box which you would place on a shelf in a shop which is handy to keep them stored.

The filters are ok, they say they are good for a few days and you can clean them. I have to do this twice a week and really only do it a couple of times per filter so they do work out expensive over time.
Size wise they appear fit fine, but don’t feel quite a well fitting as the ones that came with my hot tub

Perfect just what I needed for my Monaco Lay z spa. Very easily to clean. Place on broom handle and blast with hosepipe or jetwash. I use 3 on rotation and still have to 9 wrapped up. They lasted me a whole season and I’m just about to start my second was on with the same 3. Don’t put them in the dishwasher or washing machine as they either damage, don’t clean them properly or don’t last very long this was. Ive had no E02 problems since buying these filters. I believe they fit all Lay z Spa hot tubs so well worth the money.
My preference is to find the best way of cleaning rather than replacing every week. I know that is not what the manufacturers want, but these are essentially plastic framed, so my ethos is to try and reuse for as long as possible. Some useful tips on cleaning on Youtube.
Just wanted to clarify this as there seems to be some confusion in the Q&A area for this product.
I bought these for my Lay-Z-Spa Hawaii HydroJet pro which is less than a week old and they are the same filters that came with the spa.
There are 6 twin packs which means you get 12 filters ie you use one filter at a time not two at a time as some seem to have got confused about lol.
Let me first start by stating that there is a question on this listing that asks whether these fit a Lay-z-Spa Paris and I can categorically say Yes they do. I’ve added some photos, and as you can see the dimensions are almost exactly the same. Diameter is exact, and the height is about 1 millimetre larger, but still fits the cradle perfectly well. The filter (dirty one) on the right is the original Lay-z-Spa filter and the one on the left of the photos is one of the after market ones from this pack of 12.
The downside with these inflatable hot tubs is that they can only contain one small filter. The hard shell we had had 2 huge filters, each one about 3 times the size of these. That meant you only had to clean them out once a week. With these hot tubs, you really do need to clean them every day. The easiest way to do that is to have a stock of them, swapping them out and placing them in the dish washer to wash them out. That way they don’t get so dirty that they’re not salvageable like the two original Lay-z-Spa ones that I had.
The filters work just as well as the originals and are excellent value for money.
