12 years since spotlights installed replaced probably 5 in this time and all so different. So 2 flickering decided to change all 17. Wow what a difference so much brighter and 3 spares for the future. Great buy and there next day.
I replaced my kitchen light bulbs abd was so pleased with these bulbs that I changed the rest of the house bulbs throughout. They are bright, cheap to run, they have a slightly matt circle in the centre which reduce or illiminate glare without affecting their brightness. I can’t comment on their longevity but am relying on their guarantee. They arrived quickly and well wrapped. I would highly recommend the seller and the product.
Much more energy efficient than traditional halogen bulbs so much easier on the electric bill, and a nice bright light. Good value for how many bulbs are in the box.
Having gone through dozens of halogen bulbs over the years I made the swap to these LED type and what boy what a difference!. I’ve had these bulbs in for nearly two years and have changed a single one yet. Couldn’t be happier will definitely buy again when I need to.
I bought five packs of these light bulbs and replaced all fifty of my halogen GU10 bulbs. They appear well made with a metal body (it helps to dissipate any heat and improves longevity) and a glass front lens (easier to insert and remove). The colour temperature of 5000K is similar to daylight and is ideal for kitchens and bathrooms. The light angle is 110 which produces a very nice and uniform bright illumination when used as ceiling spot lights. Colour rendering is very good. Highly recommended.

Could just be me… But I have these (6) on my room with no dimmer, while downstairs there are 6 in the living room, 6 in the kitchen, and 6 on the dining room. They lay MAYBE 6 months downstairs (where they are all on dimmers) but YEARS in my room (no dimmer). Might just be my electrics…. Or the way they fitted the dimmers (which have been replaced several times due to this issue… But to no effect. We tried lower and higher wattage… Still they blow after a few months).
Your mileage may vary! Thw bulbs are great other than that…. Nice colours and brightness! And we still buy them all the time, despite these minor issues with lifetime!
I have old GU10 bulbs of cool white, but these daylight bulbs made a lot of difference. It seems more natural and bright compared to the previous ones. Just hoping they last long as mentioned in the box.
Bought these on the strength of other reviewers saying they were very bright. I have an internal kitchen off my living room and although I have two windows in my living room the kitchen relies on internal lighting of 4 ceiling spotlights, so it can be quite dark in there. I was getting a bit fed up of it being so glum in there so bought these based on other’s comments that they were very bright. Holy cow they are not wrong. You know that bit in Terminator 2 when the nuclear bomb goes off and the screen whites out? It’s like that for a second when I switch the kitchen light on now. Never realised *quite* how dull the other bulbs I had in there were. Absolutely spot on for what I wanted!

Have bought several types of bulb,all led,they have all worked extremely well giving out a nice white light that was an extremely good match for the Halogens they replaced.
We are really pleased with these bulbs .. they are so bright .. the only problem we have had is that 2 off the bulbs did not work..
These bulbs work out at half the price of those in retail stores. They take a couple of seconds to reach full brightnes when switching on, but after that they are excellent with no flicker or strobing. Can’t answer the longevity question yet as they have only been in a fortnight!
Impressed with the brightness, giving three stars for longevity because I haven’t had them for long. I presume they will be efficient, as they are led.
I am not one for cool white light, I usually prefer warm. However in this case these were purchased for my kitchen and bathroom, so I decided It would be OK.
I was very right, the colour is great, its cool but not dazzling, just very clean light. My kitchen is open plan with my dining room which has a warm LED bulb in, and they work together well.
The bulbs themselves appear well made and robust, made of proper materials, metal and glass.
I cant speak on longevity yet, but for the price I cant see there being a problem.
Replaced our 24 halogen ceiling down-lights with these LED’s (due to energy costs). Extremely bright but something we have got used to. We can’t currently comment on longevity but having fitted several weeks ago are extremely satisfied.
Good for an office room but they don’t have that nice warm glow of halogen lights and so only 4 stars because they turned the lounge into an office.

Tenants had swapped light bulbs and area of hall and laundry were very dim. Changed all of them to these bulbs and it’s like a new house. Unfortunately it does show that the cleaning over the last 10 years has left a lot to be desired but at least I can now see to
do it and a new coat of paint! Think new tenants will approve.

I have only had them a week but so far very happy I had warm white before so had to get used to the difference as these are a white light but the light is very good and they have an A energy rating so that’s good.

Bought this to replace cool white bulbs in the kitchen. I noticed that these bulbs were very slightly longer than the B&Q versions that they were replacing.
These are VERY bright, especially having been so used to cool white bulbs. However, the natural light output is very good. These bulbs light up the area very well.
We had been struggling with dim lights from our LED GU10 bulbs. Replaced with these, absolutely night and day difference!
I’ve only had these a a couple of weeks, so unable to comment on longevity or efficiency. I can comment on brightness, i bought these to replace all the previous LEDs in my kitchen, two of which had broken, tried to replace with different brands made them flicker, so best option was to replace all with the same brand. turning with these new lamps in place the difference was remarkable, very bright, but the biggest noticeable difference is the wide angle beam is much closer to the ceiling higher making a huge difference in reflecting light around the room

Bought these for a 6-bulb light fitting in my kitchen. The light was fitted about 6 years ago and the old bulbs were purchased and fitted at that time. Lately when in the kitchen I’ve thought to myself it just didn’t seem s bright in there, seemed a bit gloomy and I even thought maybe it was just my failing eyes that were the problem!
I didn’t know that LED bulbs can lose their brightness over a long period of time until I Googled it the other day, so I bought these and fitted them this morning and BOOM instant massive improvement and the kitchen is lit up like I remember it being 6 years ago. Fantastic value for 10 bulbs, mega-low energy consumption and great brightness.

Brightened up a room that had dark corners with previous bulbs.
Very good value for money though will have to wait for longevity! Brightness, colour temperature and spread of light exactly what I wanted for display situation. So good I ordered more to replace older low energy GU10s which had higher power usage wattage. Repeat orders were delivered speedily.
Fitted 12 of these into my kitchen. They give a super crisp and clear white light. These were described as daylight white and this is exactly what they create. They have only been in use for a few days, but from my experience so far they are far better than what I envisaged. Great bulbs.

I liked this bulb as it gave of a soft bright white light that was easy on my eyes. I bought them as the price seemed reasonable and the delivery was exalent.
I used them to finish a bit of recycling a lamp. I bought previously using the reading lamp for a free standing light over my computer and the main lamp for a fancy holder for my guest chair.
When I switched the light on for the first time after changing the bulb it was like ‘WOW’ its just like daylight. Very impressed and a 10th of the equivalent halagon energy use!
Replaced 10 halogen bulbs with these LED ones, funny how technology advances and 10 of those LED bad boys consumes less power than a single halogen bulb! Highly recommend this product, they are very bright, i accidentally bought the white ones instead of warm white but it still saved me money on energy bills!
Well they’re very bright. They made the rest of the lights in the adjoining rooms look a dull yellow. I’ve given them a few weeks and I’m getting used to them. But it’s a very unnatural light. A bit green tinged. Definitely only for kitchen or workshop use. NOT FOR A LOUNGE OR DINING AREA. They’re far too stark for relaxation rooms.
These light bulbs are a very bright whilst also being a true daylight hue. I bought them to replace the daylight-cool white hue in my bathroom and there is an amazing difference. Will be buying more to replace other Spotlights in my house. Highly recommend!
I don’t expect these lamps will meet the claimed lifetime, but they are quite cheap to replace.

Great bulbs. Look well made and the amount of light Is really bright. It’s not completely cool white (the kind that has a hint of blue). It is exactly what it says in the description, daylight white, which is much better and easier on the eye. I will probably get another pack to replace existing bulbs in my house.
Not much to say more than what has been said already, no issues so far and have no complaints.
I have many spot lights at home with both dimmable also. No buzzing noises, well built, work well, so nothing to moan about and does what it says on the tin. Good purchase and will buy again if needed.

I am not sure it is perfect for filming, as the futtach gets lines from the lights, however, photography will be absolutely ok. Strong day light, it does make room looking very bright. Put it into two rooms. Love it.
Old on the left, new on the right, extremely happy with my purchase, makes the whole kitchen look bright even in the day. With my old gu10 bulbs the room would look dull, then I realised that it was due to the quality of the light bulb. So happy that I’ve found good quality bulbs purchased 3more
Have been needing to replace the bulbs in my loft conversion as, despite being LED’s, they were losing their brightness. I settled on this 10 pack. Really good price, brightness sounded just what I needed. They arrived within 24 hrs of ordering, v well packaged. I immediately changed the 3 that were the most dim or had failed. Such a difference in light levels I had to change all 10! I have given ‘longevity’ a 4* rating as, if they’re as good as the rest of the service, they will be a money saver but (at this stage of use) it is impossible to give an accurate rating based on use…..come back in 5 yrs time and ask!!

Bright yes, efficiency will give a 4 as only just purchased fit in the downlight just perfect not below the fitting line, not flush Just inside the fitting as they should be had a few types that say retro but hang out of the fitting A plus
The LED bulbs arrived very quickly. They are good value. I only needed to replace one bulb when I purchased them. Fitting was very easy. I have not rated the longevity because LED bulbs should last a long time and now is too early.
Just replaced some old Asda LED in the Kitchen wit these as the Asda were all failing. Wow what a difference, they are so bright, we have two three bulb clusters and it lights the whole kitchen up like bright daylight, impressive

“Daylight” bulb was most definitely the one that I was hoping for. I have a galley kitchen that calls for good lighting and these bulbs are BRIGHT. I cannot comment on efficiency or longetivity as this is a very recent purchase. Delivery was swift and packaging substantial and at a good price.
I bought the natural white version. They are very bright! I can actually see things now. They are great in the bathroom, but I don’t like them in the kitchen – my partner described the light from them as ‘too clinical’ for other parts of the house which I would agree with. Overall though, great quality and value.
We really love the brightness of these bulbs over the normal warm white. Makes our mostly white kitchen seam lighter and somehow bigger. Power consumption according to our meter is very low. We’ve had this for about four or five months and not one bulb had gone. Very pleased.

After having spotlights fitted with lights giving a yellow hue, i was desperate for more of a natural feel. Well firstly dont look at them when putting them in and testing them as me and my husband could see the light for about 10minutes but they are brilliant, my dark office now feels so light. adding more to my basket to have spares 🙂 🙂
Couldn’t believe the difference between these and the ones they replaced. Daylight is right. My kitchen was filled with shadows before switching to these. I can’t comment on longevity because I’ve only had them for a week. Or energy efficiency. But the quality of light is great.
Love the brightness of these as they are bright white. I needed better light in my kitchen, ( mainly eyesight), but quickly got used to them, as brighter. Based on write up for efficiency I’ve given 5 stars and for brightness, time will tell how long they last me so I have given 4 to start with as not long bought them!
These lights are just what’s needed in the kitchen as it’s meant to be the brightest room in the house, they give off a white light, I use 8 of them and wow there is no dark parts in the kitchen now, well worth the money :).
Very bright bulbs. Bought to replace one in my bathroom, ended up replacing all bulbs in bathroom and ensuite. Also used in my downlight under stairs. Great to brighten areas that don’t get much natural light.
I’ll be buying again to replace all spots in my kitchen too.
I bought these to replace some existing GU10s that had a yellow cast. These are a hundred times brighter and the white/daylight colour of the light just makes everything look great, it massively improves how the house feels. I put them everywhere except the bedrooms which I left as they were and I wish I had done it years ago.
GU10 LED’s used to replace 50W halogen GU5.3 lamps. Original lamps were Lo-Vo’s so first job was to remove the old transformers and swap out the lamp holders. Once this was done it was a simple task to fit the new lamps. The light colour rendering was good for where they were used. The light intensity was also good definitely equivalent to the 50W halogens. At this point in time I cannot comment on the longevity of the lamps (only been in use for 3 weeks) but going by previous comments, if they are still working now I don’t believe that there will be any issues for some time to come.
We’ve just replaced six of these new bulbs for the standard halogen bulbs. They are pretty bright and saving energy is obviously fantastic! My only slight negative is that the light produced by them is far whiter than the regular halogen. Apart from that I would recommend the bulbs. (Well packaged too, so all arrived safe)
Fit nicely and packaged well so none of them broke despite the delivery looking rough do the job nicely. We got the brighter ones as its for the kitchen and it’s been great.
My wife having bought two of those stupid spotlight bars which need four bulbs each instead of the two, at most, that our pretty small kitchen needs, then proceeded to use underpowered “normal” bulbs which regularly blew out and provided minimal illumination. I’ve no idea how long these will last, but the box suggested a long time and none have gone yet. And they’re bright, very bright. I can see things in my kitchen I’ve never seen before. I love them.

These are brilliant bulbs, 350 lumens at 4w is very efficient. No flicker, standard shape and fitting, well packaged, and excellent value for money.
hese little light throw out a lot of light. Very pleased with them. The only complaint for me is that I bought the Daylight bulbs which are very white. Not too bad in a kitchen but too white for other rooms perhaps. I have had comments from friends that they thought aliens have landed when approaching our house at night. But thats not the bulbs fault. More of a wrong choice on my part.
I wasn’t very happy to be replacing 14 light fittings that were still working, but at last the clear benefits of LED fittings persuaded me, and I bought these. I was extremely glad I did: they are significantly brighter than the old 9W fluorescents, and noticeably brighter than the 11W ones. I hadn’t been sure if 300lm would be sufficient, but I needn’t have worried – 200lm would have been enough.
I was so impressed I went on to order another batch of five, so I can complete the conversion. To me this wasn’t so much a matter of power saving, as I already had pretty efficient fluorescents, but it was the startup time. There’s just no comparison. LEDs are, to all intents and purposes, instantaneous; no more waiting for several minutes for optimum brightness. I would strongly recommend anyone in my situation to do the same thing.
