Excellent air purifier. I was a bit concerned about power consumption and the electricity bill. However it’s low usage. Far lower cost to run than my dehumidifier. The air is noticeably fresher. We noticed the downstairs, where we are using it, has noticeably less dust around.
It works. It takes pollen and dust right out of the room and leaves you able to breathe without sneezing, itchy eyes and runny noses.
Night time running noise is unobtrusive and the control lights can be switched off if you like a totally dark bedroom.
Powerful on full power and cleans my bedroom (12×12 foot) in no time at all.

Recently, I have been experiencing trouble sleeping or spending extended periods in my room. Whenever I would enter the room the following day, I would feel unwell, unable to breathe properly, and have to rely on my inhaler for relief. I researched possible solutions and ultimately decided to purchase an air purifier. After running it for a day, I noticed a significant difference. I can now comfortably spend extended periods in my room without sneezing or experiencing breathing difficulties. I regret not purchasing it sooner.
Only had this machine on for about an hour and already the air feels cleaner and I’m able to breath through my nose. Feels very chilled and like being outside. I also smoke indoors and within minutes the smell and heaviness in the air is gone. Great purchase.

There are many factors why I chose to buy the levoit air purifier. I live on an intersection between two busy roads and have two small dogs so having our windows open all the time is not ideal because of the pollution and noise. I would hoover the house top to bottom every other day and the canister would fill up two/three times over with dust and would find myself constantly polishing. I would notice the dust more on sunny days and see the particles floating in the air only to settle again. Personally I think I have a dust allergy because when at home I cough and wheeze so decided to purchase the levoit for the bedroom. I have only had it 3 weeks and already there is a noticeable difference in dust and my breathing I found the difference so noticeable I ordered one for the living room which arrived today and already the air quality is brilliant. Going forward I will have the bedroom one on during the night and the living room one on during the day also the sound it makes is next to nothing so I don’t use the sleep mode and leave it on setting two and find the humming relaxing. They also use next to nothing in electricity which was a worry so if you have asthma or any other breathing difficulties or just a dusty house definitely give this a go!
This air purifier was a bit expensive, but it was worth every penny. The sleep mode is quiet enough to leave on all night, and it doesn’t seem to use too much electricity. I can tell the difference to the air quality in a room after a very short amount of time in use. Such a good product.
Recently got a kitten for our children, and the wife had servere symptoms of a cat allergy. Did some research and come across this beauty, and after running the purifier for day or so, the wife has not had a reaction, and literally saved us from breaking our kids hearts. Soo good, we have bought another one to put one closer to the litter tray, but we do leave them running for 24/7. Not sure what impact this is going to make to our bills, bet hey ho!
Not had this long, but sooooo impressed. I bought it to clean air in house (esp when having visitors inside) I saw great reviews and it sounds impressive…. Well…. IT IS! It has cleaned all smells from my house, and can only explain it changing the air as like when you go to the beach on a crisp cold day and it feels like you can breathe fully/deeper and it feels like fresh air. Seriously impressed by that. Noticed it also seemed to cool the air in the room (but that just might be me imagining it) but this was by far a brilliant purchase. Since I’ve had it a few of my family are now purchasing one, it is so great at cleaning the air. Not yet hit allergies for me yet but the way this has performed I don’t think hayfever or dust will be a problem anymore.
Can’t think of any dislikes really, if I HAD to find one, it would likely be its size, but then it can’t he much smaller given the power it has. So the pro’s outweight con’s. If you want an air purifier, THIS is the one!

Does the job great. Had it on for 3 days now and already the air looks and feels much cleaner. Usually when the sun beams through my apartment you can see tons of dust in the air. Since the arrival of 2 of these machines in both my gym and living room, it has significantly improved the air.
I have allergies to dust, asthma and that’s improved along with my sleep.
If you live besides a busy road, I’d advise leaving the windows shut and let the purifiers do their job. Recommend
Nice design and works well
Nice looking, easy to use, cleans the are in an open plan kitchen and dining room efficiently. Fairly large item, but not an issue, just something to be aware of.
I didn’t expect much from the filter, since I didn’t think it could clear much from the air.
Four months later, the change filter light came on and replacing it with a new one was quite eye opening.
Would definitely recommend it for those who have dusty/smoky environments.
Used first time last night and did not wake up a few times during the night, as I usually do to drink water, due to dry mouth from breathing through my mouth while sleeping. Nasal passages feel clear this morning and sinuses, only had it going for 2 hours on low fan speed. It is much larger than I thought, not complaining, just surprised, but then if it mattered I would have checked dimensions before purchasing. Easy to use, easy to take filter out to remove plastic covering. I’m really impressed with this product and recommend.
Brilliant piece of kit!
I bought this to see if I could remove dog smell from living room. It has done a much better job than I ever expected. I put it on 2 overnight with the door closed and the room smells of only the dried eucalyptus that I have hanging in there.
I decided to try an air purifier for the first time a few months ago. I found this one and am so so so impressed by it. I do not have any previous purifier to compare it to, but I am very happy with my purchase. The price was great and the delivery was quick. It was nicely packaged and arrived in great condition. The manual was easy to read and using it really is a breeze. I was genuinely surprised by how quiet the night/sleep mode was. I used to wake up every morning with a stuffed and painful nose, but since I started using the air purifer that’s completely been relieved. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Does the job
Used to stop excessive pet dander buildup in a room with two rabbits, I’d say it’s working as the filter needs to be regularly vacuumed to remove buildup.
The 300 is a large unit and works well in the Kitchen.
OK so I bought both of these air purifiers; the Levoit 300 and the Levoit Mini, they were not provided in exchange for a review.
The 300 is much, much bigger than the mini — the 300 is not as quiet as the mini for night time in the bedroom but it throws a lot more air through it at every level. The 300 also has a timer 2 to 8 hours, a child lock, and a bigger fan.
Here we are then; the mini can run in the bedroom almost unheard all night; that’s not the same for the sleep mode of the 300. The 300 however, can push so much more air through it in larger spaces.
The 300 is in the kitchen in our home, the mini in a bedroom. This arrangement works well for us.

Impressed with this air purifier, has 3 modes you can set which aren’t too loud, you can set a timer for 2h/4h/6h/8h and has a sleep/nighttime mode which is quieter. I found easy to setup and use. It cleans the air well and looks great!

Really great filter! Living in a duplex we don’t get to control all the smells coming into our home. When in the same room as this air filter those smells disappear, and my husband is very sensitive. Worth the money!

Unsure whether it does much
I have a long haired cat that sheds quite a bit so I got this with the hope of improving the air quality. It throws fresh air but I am unsure whether it is doing anything as the filter looks pretty clean despite the amount of hair flying in the air. The product is designed well and it is easy to use. I am just not sure whether it is actually doing the job
I purchased this for my work place before people realized things were airborne. I used it there for 6 months until my workplace bought their own. Then I moved it home and have had it in my living area for almost 2 years. I turn it on low and leave it on about 70% of the time. I have dogs and we notice the dog smell when it is off. The low setting is really quiet.

Best Decision for my Musty Ranch home
Bought the Core300 for my 1100sft home that i purchased few months ago which has a nasty musty smell.
This purifier cleared up the air pretty good for my bedroom and i intend to get the 400 model for the living room while i save up thousands of dollars to fix the musty crawl space which is the actual cause of the mustiness. Definetely recomment this brand over others.
Its super quite and has no light mode which is perfect.

I can really tell the difference when using these. If I forget to turn on at night, I am extremely congested in the am. It does a good job and works quickly. I am a very light sleeper and can sleep with this on middle
setting. In fact I purchased another one since the first worked so well. We have pets.
I can’t recommend this product highly enough! I’ve been suffering terribly with dust allergies in my bedroom. I’ve been using this air purifier for one month and it’s all cleared up. No more streaming nose and sneezing when I wake up.
The machine is simple to set up and use. You can hear a slight hum the higher the setting but the night mode is really silent, plus you can switch off the lights on the settings, so no brightness in the room at night.
I tend to keep it running on low during the day, according to the manufacturer booklet that comes with it, the air recycles 3/4 times in a day.
I just vacuumed the filter after one month and was amazed at how much dust was on it. I’ll continue to give it a monthly vacuum which will hopefully maintain its efficiency.

As far as I can tell this HEPA filter works very well.
It is a bit noisier than the other brand I reviewed, but not excessively noisy.
The one criticism I have is that it doesn’t have a handle. Since it is portable and small, it would be nice to be able to pick it up and move it around without worrying about having it slip out of my hands.

The late fall irritation of dust and other particles in the air are mostly gone. I didn’t realize what a difference an air purifier would make. We live in the country on an acreage with trees, bushes, dust, and who knows what else. This purifier has taken care of most of the sneezes and runny nose’s. I’m sorry we waited so long to get a purifier. Would recommend

I attribute this to the cleaner air that she's now breathing. She also sleeps much better. In my opinion, the white noise produced also helps her rest. As a matter of fact, we plan to purchase an additional air purifier for our living room. This product works exactly as you'd expect it to. This was a great investment by my family. obviously its tricky to tell if your air has been cleaned but I think after a few weeks of using this (left in night mode durng the day as it is slightly too noisy to sleep with) – I think the room has less dust (as judged by looking through sunlight ) – so it seems worth it (I havent paid for another filter yet – that may sway my rating).
Be warned you can not turn this on with a mains smart switch – it is manual only
This is the first air purifier I’ve ever owned and I’m so happy with it. I bought this purifier specifically because my apartment neighbors smoke marijuana and it seeps into my apartment making my whole apartment (1,250 sq ft) reek and this machine worked instantly to solve the odor problem. I haven’t smelled anything since I plugged it in. Very easy to use and once I replace the filter that will be very easy as well to do. I also noticed with the odor being gone that the air does seem cleaner, lighter in fact.
I dont usually put this in sleep mode because it is set up in my kitchen an open area but when I did mess with it, it was very quiet. I would definitely recommend this product.

Fr’s Schlafengehen schalte ich den Luftreiniger allerdings aus, da man ihn auch auf leisester Stufe hrt, wenn er im gleichen Zimmer steht.
Die Luft, die oben herauskommt, ist sprbar frischer und geruchsneutraler, als die sonstige Luft im Raum.
Die Bedienoberflche funktioniert per Touch und ist daher manchmal etwas unzuverlssig, erfllt aber trotzdem ihren Zweck im vollen Umfang.
Positiv anzumerken ist, dass das Gert auch ohne “Smart” zu sein auskommt und nicht nach Hause telefoniert, oder an Botnetzen mitwirkt.
Auerdem lsst sich der HEPA-Filter leicht austauschen.
Kritik gibt es dafr, dass der obere Teil des Gerts, in welchem sich der Lfter befindet, sehr viel schwieriger zu reinigen ist und dass die Filter-Wechsel-Anzeige Zeitgesteuert und nicht Widerstandsgesteuert ist (d. h. die Leuchte schaltet sich nach 6 Monaten an, unabhngig vom Verstopfungsgrad des Filters).
Insgesamt wrde ich den Luftreiniger weiterempfehlen.

I’ve been miserable with allergic rhinitis. It’s robbed me of sleep which caused blood pressure spikes. I had to do something. It was killing me.
I thought that good air purifiers were unattainably expensive.
Boy was I wrong. This affordable little machine in conjunction with Nature Fresh charcoal bags and careful vacuuming is making my environment much healthier in this new (to us) house. I’m on night 3, and am already sleeping and breathing better. Today I didn’t wake up with a headache.

I don’t know if this matters, but I close the door to my bedroom and keep this running on 2. It cleans/replaces the air a few times an hour. I don’t want to live without one of these. I want a few more. It’s good for one room.

I love this! I have the worst pet allergies and just allergies in general. This really cleans the air! I run it all day and everyday. It also purifies the air quickly when I’m cooking as well. My house never smells like food after running this. It’s also energy efficient and doesn’t add much to my bills. I highly recommend this. I was actually introduced to this Christmas 2021 when my brother got sick of hearing me sneeze every 5 minutes, so he bought this for me for Christmas and then I got myself another one. Now I barely sneeze!
Okay- I’m not one to review the vast majority of things I buy on Amazon but this air purifier deserves the highest praise. I’ve been struggling with BAD allergies for the past couple of weeks which have resulted in a lot of uncomfortable, sleepless nights which don’t add up well as I’m in grad school and working full time so sleep is much needed. My allergies within my studio apartment had gotten to the point where I was worried I’d need to see an allergist, but at 3 AM while I was up sniffling and mouth breathing I thought it might be good to look into an air purifier first. I’m so glad I did!!! Literally bought this, got it early in the afternoon, and by the end of the day my breathing was SOOO much better. I have a studio apartment and a dog and this air purifier freshened up the space so quickly. It’s literally like night and day. After an hour it had already sucked up lots of dust and dog hair (impressive because I have a dog that doesn’t shed much and I’m pretty obsessive about vacuuming). I keep the fan on the highest level because I like the white noise it creates but I tried out the sleep mode and it’s pretty much silent. I’m so impressed and so glad I decided to invest in this- I feel so confident in my decision to make this purchase.

Very quiet on setting one and two, setting three you will need to turn the TV up one or two notches, but nothing disruptive. I will probably buy another one that is a little bigger.
I rarely ever right reviews for any products. But I had an issue with this unit where it started making a weird high pitch/grinding noise. I reached out to Levoit and they replaced the unit without issue. Reminds me of Apple customer service, maybe even better.
New unit works perfect and I think it’s smoother than the first one (as the first one I had, had a slight rumble when touching it). Anyway, great service, awesome product for purifying the air. I used to almost die from allergy season, since getting this I haven’t had a single stuffy nose at night (I used to not be able to breath at night for months on end).

Previously, my husband and two of my four kids have low grade seasonal allergies- nothing serious, but especially in the winters they will constantly clear their throats and in the mornings the kids complain of “froggy” throats.
This air purify entirely got rid of this COMPLETELY. My husband no longer constantly clear his throat (and at night this was SUPER annoying) and my kids never sound like they are getting a cold for weeks on end (but no true cold ever arrives).
Secondarily, I also used these to replace our sound machines because we live in a noisy city and our neighbors/streets aren’t always attentive to the idea that others are sleeping.
Thirdly, i have noticed the need to dust has slightly decreased- my house still will have dust, but these do a great job collecting the bulk of it in their rooms.
I have used two of these for a year now in our bedrooms and am entirely grateful for them. I will HAPPILY pay for the filters every 6 months or so- every time i see the disgusting dust/debris particles on the old filter i say to my kids “look, this could have been all in your lungs!” Never, ever going back.
It may seem expensive, but it will improve your quality of life. 100% necessary if you live in the city, or in a smokey place, or have people with allergies/asthma/sinus problems.

I love this product. But I did wonder why it was a little noisier than the reviews stated. But it was not that noisy so I turned it on every night in my daughters room. It worked really well. Two weeks later I decided to clean the filter. Here’s the funny story. Unbeknownst to me the filter had a plastic wrap around it. I had failed to remove it because I probably had failed to read the complete instructions. So just make sure you remove that plastic before you turn on the air filter. Now it runs perfectly silent. Every house hold really needs a air purifier. Collects a lot of dust in the air. The amount of dirt it captures it’ll do wonders. Especially if you have pets!
Good little purifier. It can get quite loud on full bore, especially in a quiet room. However, it’s barely noticeable with the TV on at a normal volume.
It moves a fair volume of air, even to the point where we get a bit cold with it running too long on fan speed 3.
Night mode is very quiet and shouldn’t disturb you at all

This air purifier does a really great job, especially for the price point. I originally bought one for my bedroom, as I have HORRIBLE allergies and sinus problems. I have an autoimmune disease so I get sick very easily if I’m not in a “clean” environment. My new apartment was making me super sick, so I decided to take the plunge and purchase this guy. It’s done wonders for me. After being sick for 2 weeks due to my new (improperly cleaned) apartment, this thing has been a live saver. It’s been helping so much I decided to get a second unit for my office. I keep these running 24/7 on level 3, and the noise level even then is fairly minimal compared to other units I’ve seen. I would compare it to the low or medium mode on a floor fan, it’s actually very relaxing to have on at night! I can still watch TV and hear it perfectly fine with it being 3ft from my head. If you’re debating on purchasing, I highly recommend!
I just received two of these LEVOIT Air Purifiers (the tube or canister style) and I’m overall impressed with them. I’ve only had them running for a couple of hours, but the packaging was simple and effective, the filter was easy to install, and the controls seem to work well and are reasonably intuitive.
Pros:
Very quiet relative to other air purifiers I’ve had in this price range.
Simple capacitive touch controls are easy to operate and intuitive.
Looks nice, and is a good neutral white.
Cons:
The filter design is simple from a manufacturing and cost cutting perspective but is a head scratcher user-wise. You are supposed to flip the unit over and twist the bottom counter-clockwise to remove the base, then replace the filter. It’s just a bit odd that there’s no lip to protect the top surface with the controls or the easily-marred white plastic. You can’t lay it on the site because it’s a tube and will roll.
The filter also has a “handle” molded onto the bottom that doesn’t do anything. That’s not a big deal, just odd or maybe evidence it’s a multi-use part for other devices?
These are hardly cons at all, and the unit seems to be performing well. I intend to follow up in two weeks and then again months later. I will hook it up to a Killawatt energy meter to test energy use as the filter fills and I will also view it with a thermal camera just for curiosity’s (and safety’s) sake.
Great for dusty environments and pets
I bought this a little while ago and have been using it every day since. I have really felt the benefits of this in the bedroom and the living room. I am slightly allergic to dust and would have issues when trying to sleep which seems to have gotten better since using this. In addition, the night mode and the ability to turn off the light on the display really helped with light sleepers like myself. The only real negative is that the highest fan setting is fairly audible.
I’ve had this filter since June 1, 2022 ordered it on may 31, 2022. It still works as if it were new . At first I was wondering if it was picking up cat hair because I did notice a huge difference in air quality but fur was still pretty much everywhere . I just opened the filter and was that there was dead bugs , fur , hair and toxins on the filter . This filter is definitely multipurpose and does a amazing job at keeping the air clean/ and clear for me and my fur baby . If you live in a high pollutant city ( nyc) and you so happen to have a fur friend like myself, I recommend getting this it’ll do wonders for you and your family! Also make sure to follow the manual it recommends cleaning the filter every 2-4 weeks I suggest you follow it if you keep your filter on non stop like myself , that way you get to keep the filter longer because it’s recommended to replace them every 6-8 months or every year and they are expensive ! Also to anyone confused this comes with the filter ! I recommended you to not throw out the manual !
I knocked off a star because I ordered this as “new in damaged box” expecting a never used product in a damaged box, as stated. However, when I opened the box (which had very minor cosmetic damage as expected) the plastic packaging was clearly opened. I saw some pet hairs inside the box and found some fuzz and hairs on the filter when I removed it. I honestly thought “no biggie” because I had purchased with a gift card and paid very little out of pocket, and I’m generous with trying new things.
Thank goodness I gave it a shot! You could feel and breathe the difference in the air after a few hours of running it. I live in a very tiny apartment with a cat and lots of upholstery and surfaces that hold dust/dander. Guests were having problems with allergies when they visited (I do vacuum a lot to try and mitigate symptoms). I have noticed an extreme difference in air quality even after about 2 months now. I leave it running almost constantly and move it around to different rooms where I’m cleaning sometimes. You can clearly see what it’s catching in the filter, even small fruit flies (ya, gross lol). The sleep mode is audible, but like a gentle white noise. I leave a desk fan running all night long that is louder than this anyways so it doesn’t bother me. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time! If you’re able to, give it a short yourself!
Due to the windows being open in the loft, it can get quite dusty inside. Didnt expect this air purifier to make such a difference but after an hour of running the air is noticeably nicer.

Stylish, lightweight, compact and seems to ease my allergies. However because of its shape, it’s really annoying to transport. Seems like a pretty obvious design flaw not to have a handle. For this I’ve deducted a star.

My partner is allergic to all dogs – their dander, fur, and saliva all set him off – and he has seasonal/household allergies along with bad asthma. But, we love dogs and recently rescued a cattle dog mix. We have carpet in our bedroom and her fur gets everywhere. For the first week with our dog and without this air purifier, my partner was extremely itchy and woke up several times a night nearing asthma attacks due to allergies. He’d go sleep in the open living room (with hard floors) to breathe better. Then we bought the Levoit Core 300, paired with the yellow pet allergy filter. He has had zero issues with his allergies at night since it arrived. Our pup will still lick him and her fur still gets everywhere, but along with vacuuming regularly and trying to keep our bed covered with a sheet during the day so dog fur isn’t all in the bed, this purifier has made it possible for him to sleep well and not experience any allergy-induced asthma attacks. It’s truly amazing. We’ve only had it for a couple of nights but I feel confident in writing a review this early because the results are already so obvious. In addition to my partner’s allergies, our apartment seems very dusty within a matter of days after dusting/vacuuming (I’m fairly sure our HVAC system is filthy despite having the ducts “cleaned” by a company our complex hired earlier this year) and the air that comes out of our vents has a somewhat unclean odor. We also live in south Florida, so opening windows to get fresh air isn’t possible except on the rare days when humidity is minimal. The air in our bedroom truly feels cleaner and it doesn’t smell weird like it used to as soon as the AC starts blowing from the vents. I’m also convinced the purifier has helped reduce the odor from my partner’s stinky work socks/shoes (they’re sinful lol). This purifier has made life so much better for us! We are going to buy the 400S for the larger open living/dining/office area of our apartment. Our place is around 770 square feet with the bedroom and kitchen both completely isolated, so having the core 300 for the bedroom and a 400S for the rest of the place should work well for us. If you suffer from pet allergies this will probably do wonders for you like it has for us!!! REMINDER: the pet allergy filter is sold separately.
Oh, and I don’t find this to be loud at all. If anything it’s soothing while we sleep. Our 1.5 year old Lasko tower fan and central HVAC system are both louder than this. I also LOVE that you can shut the display lights off at night. We haven’t tried sleep mode or the timer because we just keep it on level 3 all night. I shut it off during the day unless we’re in the room, at which point we put it on a lower setting. We haven’t tried the regular filter that came with the purifier, only because we know we specifically need something for pet allergies.
My one and only complaint has nothing to do with the product’s functionality or anything like that: it’s simply that it would be nice if buyers could choose their filter type when purchasing the purifier instead of having the regular one come with it by default – I feel wasteful after receiving the regular one that we probably will never use. But, if a replacement pet filter is not available right away it will be handy to use the regular one temporarily.
I was sceptical that it would have much of an effect in our large bedroom but, so long as you set it up on/next to your bed then your hay-fever suffering roommate will finally have a good night’s sleep.
Let’s be honest, you’ll only buy something in this price range because you desperately need the respite, and this does deliver.
A bonus is that my wife & I find the sound soothing so we don’t mind leaving it at high power, and it only takes an hour for noticeable results.

No yucky dust (bits of skin) all over the tv and electronics. This little gem creates moving air in the room and draws just about everything it can through the filters. XBox Series X and Large PC have only needed to be cleaned once before I bought it and not at all in the time since.

I bought this as my cousin recommended it and she’s told me a lot of good things about having a HEPA filter. I suffer from allergic rhinitis and sneeze too much when i get up from the bed, since i had this i wake up not sneezy anymore. I also use a CPAP machine to sleep and it has a dust filter that i have to change every week (light blue) and another i change every month (dark blue). Since i had this, the dust filter on my CPAP has been clean (i clean my machine weekly) and i only had to change it once in the months since i had this. It’s a life saver. I also stopped my nasal spray coz my hay fever improved. I highly recommend this, I’ve actually told friends about it… this review is by my own discretion and I wasn’t paid to do it. The only con is that if we cook something and want the smell to go away, it circulates the smell around the room, it takes a while for it to go away but it’s not a problem we use it in our bedroom anyways.

My sleep quality has improved definently. We have 2 cats and my son sometimes react by sneezing and we decided to buy . Will see how will be in the future since make conclusions is early as we use a few days. But I definently happy already.
A few years ago was put in a spot- sweet puppy desperately needs home. Had a few visits- no sneezing or itchy eyes. Brought puppy home. Fell IN LOVE- how could anyone not, look at that face !!! Almost a month in home the itchy eyes started then sneezing. After a few months I’m eating allergy medicine like candy. He just turned 5 & weighs 89 lbs- pit lab mix. His fur is longer than a typical pit, slightly shorter than a lab but THICK. I sweep & vacuum every day! My allergies have triggered asthma & now I’m on Singulair too. It’s ok- he is SUCH a good dog & he is home, he is NOT going anywhere- we WILL make this work!!! A coworker suggested an air purifier- 5 years later, biggest “DUH ” moment of my life! I CAN tell a HUGE difference since I have started using this unit!!! During the day it sits on a counter top that puts it perfectly in the center of kitchen/dining room/living room. I turn it on when I get home. Run it on setting 2 & set timer to 8hrs. When I go to bed I move it to the bedroom (it’s light weight & easy to move around)- his bed is in the floor next to my bed ….yep, that’s right, & I keep it on setting 2 & time another 8 hrs (not that I get that much sleep, but it runs the whole time I’m getting ready for work too). I don’t use the sleep mode- but put it there on day 1 to see what it was… the light is much dimmer & it runs softly & is whisper quiet. I have allergies & sleep with the dog in my room- no, I need setting 2 at least. The light is no more than a night light- not bothersome at all. It does make sound…. on a scale of 1-10, 10 being someone talking in a normal voice…. I’d say setting 2 would be a 5, sleep mode a 1. For me it’s an unexpected perk, something I didn’t know would be so great till I had it- it is perfect “white noise” in a home of people with different sleep schedules!! I seriously sleep SO much better!! I don’t go to bed stuffy & wake up with a clear nose! I feel like I fall asleep faster & I’m having long crazy dreams lmao! And I feel good when I wake up! Overall- I do see a very noticeable difference in my allergies, I still take a 24hr capsule & still on the Singular but I’m not having to take extra max allergy on top of all that & not needing my rescue inhaler at all….& I’m definitely sleeping better. I believe this unit to be worth every penny & I seriously wish I had found it sooner!!!
Noise levels are ok. Level one you can ignore with no other background noise, At two, you can ignore it if you have the TV on etc, At three it’s a bit obnoxious, but I only really use that for when I want to clear the air quickly. It has gotten a bit louder since I first got it for some reason, but has not continued to increase.
I’ve got a dog and this picks up any fluff in the air (not all, obviously, but it’s noticeable), which is nice. It seems to accumulate on the outside.
This is a blessing for hayfever sufferers. Both me and my mum are really pleased with it for that reason. When it’s been bad since getting this, we’ve just sat in the lounge with all doors/ windows shut and this on level 2 and talked amongst ourselves about how relieved we are that our eyes have stooped itching/noses running etc. Doesn’t completely eliminate it, but the difference is major. I started sneaking it to bed with me at one point as the hayfever got so bad at one point, this was the only way I could sleep, even dosed up on hayfever tablets. When my aunt visited, she also commented on how her symptoms had decreased and wants to buy one now.
If you’ve got a window/ door open it significantly reduces effectiveness.

Purchased this mainly to reduce my sons pollen allergy and placed in his room afew hours before sleep, the room feels very clean tk the senses and he sleeps comfortable, no more clogged nose whilst sleeping and no sore eyes and dust is reduced also
There is a sleep button and runs quietly, you can slightly hear it however is calming and I would say the room feels slightly cooler also which is lovely during the hot summer especially his bedroom faces south .
I move it around the house where I’m going to sit.

I purchased this air purifier after reading NYT Wirecutter’s review whom’s website I fully trust because I’d been having trouble sleeping by waking up in the middle of night dry coughing and I would also wake up with an unusually puffy face. I attributed these symptoms to allergies in the bedroom since I’d be totally fine all day and the ENT doctor saw no infection or illness on my end. I recently moved in full time to my partners home and he would tell me that I sometimes snore but I’ve never been known to snore and he was the only person to ever tell me I was snoring. He on the other always snored but it wasn’t a big issue for me. Long story short… Since purchasing and placing in our bedroom, I have not coughed once in the middle of the night and I wake up now with a normal looking face again and I also feel more restful and energized in the morning. My partner has completely stopped snoring since purchasing and I mentioned that to him last night and he said I haven’t snored once either and he feels so much better in the morning too. I really wasn’t expecting this much added benefit, I thought he was simply a snorer and that it had nothing to do air quality and I’m back to being the non-snorer I always was (I never believed h when he told me I would occasionally snore lol). I don’t usually write reviews unless the product is really bad and/or scam or incredibly exceptional so I had to come here to write this. This air purifier really works and if you live with someone who snores or you’re a snorer I really believe this air purifier will help immensely and in our case completely resolve the snoring issue. The sound of the air purifier on the first night can be somewhat of a shock when you’re use to sleeping in silence as we were, but we both find this air purifier’s sound helped us get to sleep faster and we’ve summed it up as ‘white noise’. Can’t recommend enough, just sent the link to my parents and will be getting this product as gifts in the near future. Best $100 you’ll ever spend!
I primarily purchased this air purifier because I have allergies where my symptoms include and not limited to non stop runny nose and slightly inflamed eyes during the warmer months. So, after much consideration and reviews being written, I finally purchased a Levoit air purifier. After months of non stop use, I can honestly say that this air purifier has been incredibly helpful in alleviating my allergy symptoms; not that it has completely disappeared but I can breathe better and I, thankfully, did not suffer from inflamed eyes this year. When I say breathe better, it’s more that I don’t have a constant runny nose; since I do exercise outside I do get my allergy symptoms back again but not to such a severe degree that I need to take antihistamines. I definitely notice a significant change.
In terms of cost, I considered a few things which are initial cost of the product, electricity bill and replacement filter. Initial cost of the product is not too bad, it is not the cheapest air purifier but also not the most expensive one; considering the durability and function of the product – initial cost is okay overall. My electricity bill also did not change considering that it is on all the time on high and I have been using it for a good few months now. Lastly, cost of replacement filter, I have not purchased a replacement filter yet but price is generally affordable in comparison to other filters in the market. I have taken into account of cleaning my air purifier every two weeks so it functions well and the filter lasts longer as per instructions.
Now, the last thing I want to mention is the noise. Personally, I am the type of person who can sleep through anything so I don’t notice the noise all that much even at the highest level. To be honest, I feel more comfortable having background noise since it just lulls me to sleep. However, for a light sleeper, highest level when going to sleep maybe a tad bit too noisy. I would recommend either level 1(sleep mode) or level 2 when running the air purifier during the night.
Hopefully, my review helps anyone thinking of purchasing this.
Seems to help with cat allergy
Bought this product because my partner has a cat allergy.
I also bought the green allergy filter, and i havent heard from him about his allergies at all anymore.
I use the hoover carefully on the filter every 2 -3 weeks and notice that dust and other pollen are on the filter. its very easy to clean.
sometimes at night i turn it on max so that the entire room (which the cat mainly stays in) can really purify over night. When its on u can feel a bit of airflow which is very nice.
It does the job
his product is amazing its made a great difference to my living room .its kept the dust down from my pet parrot .i.m very happy I purchased this wished I had one sooner. I would recommend this product to anyone .

This filter is well worth having. with having allergies this unit for me is just what the doctored ordered.
I have been hesitating about buying one of these, but felt it might help us sleep as we get bad hayfever. Since buying it we have both noticed a definite improvement in our sleep patterns, and feel much less congested when we wake up (no itchy eyes!). It’s not a big object so it is also easy to move to other rooms when we need. It has three fan speeds and then a nightime setting which I thinkis a bit quieter still – the night time setting and the lowest fan speed are very quiet – you barely hear it, speed 2 is unobtrusive but you can hear it, speed 3 is similar to having a standard fan on. Would I buy it again? – yes no hesitatio

I have two Alsation Dogs & 1 Cat, which like all domestic pets, ‘shed’ DANDER (Dandruff), and ‘dirt’, if their Paws are left wet from ‘Walks’. Unit placed where most Animal ‘activity’ occurs. Also, I have less sneezing ‘sessions’ from Household ‘dust-mites’ & Tree & Flower Pollen blown inside the house. Place the unit/s in the MOST BUSY areas, especially if the floor area is ‘Carpeted’.
Nice and quiet and seems to do the job.
