Review asks about warmth but this isn’t a heater. It’s a great air filter for the price. After a month of casual use you can really see the build up in the filter. That would otherwise be in my lungs or in my nose.
Having lung disease , breathing can sometimes be a problem , especially need clean fresh air when sleeping !
It’s a nice compact unit, looks good in the room and the functions are easy. It has worked to a satisfactory degree definitely helping to reduce the smell significantly but not totally eliminated.
The night mode is very quite but probably not doing much and we have to leave it on all the time. Too early to say how it will stack up over the long term which I hope we won’t need. Worth a go if you are on the fence

Had this now for 6 months, very good product. My wife used to have annoying coughs but after a couple of weeks of having this on during the day and night she no longer has it. It also gets rid of smells which is handy. A good little gatchet to have round the house. Highly recommended.
Really impressed with this – I bought it as I’m a bit allergic to my cats and antihistamines alone weren’t doing the trick. It works great in my bedroom, which I think is probably the maximum size of room it can work with, it wasn’t really doing the job in the larger living room.
I don’t let my cats in my room at night but they do sometimes wander in during the day, and I’d found I was getting really stuffy and getting an itchy throat at night, and this has definitely helped.
What a great device is this, you can really feel different in the bedroom after minutes.
Also it is very quiet and has sleeping mode so you can turn all the disturbing lights and keep it dark over the night.

A recent issue of Which talked about air purifiers. We found this one at a reasonable price that was highly rated.
After the first night of use we both had the best nights sleep for a long time.
We are now on night 6, and each night has been the same..
We are very pleased.
Our bedroom is about 20sqm.
I put the unit on at full tilt about an hour before we go to bed and then turn it down to the night setting when we are ready to go to sleep.
It sits on a chest of drawers at the foot of our bed.
When in night mode the fan is almost inaudible, living where we do it is very quiet outside and any additional noise could be quite distracting.
This unit does not disturb us at all, in fact it gives off a very gentle cool breeze which wafts down from the ceiling.
I am guessing in night mode it must use hardly any electricity, seeing as it is rated at 15w when on max fan.

I love the look of the purifiers and the sound of them. Level 2 is a very relaxing fan sound and night mode is almost imperceptible. I keep it at 1 or 2 unless I’ve just vacuumed and it’s a bit dusty I’ll ramp it up to 3. I really feel as though my air quality has increased. I highly recommend! And it was quite larger than I expected. So I posted some photos with some nice ‘to scale’ items next to it. I got more than I bargained for. I got two as well! One for the bedroom and one for the living room. I don’t regret a thing.
My only gripe is that after a couple weeks/months it doesn’t seem to provide the same freshness any more. I don’t know if the filter needs replacing, but it looks clean and the filter replacement light has not come on.
Well, this product was way better than l expected. Build quality is very good. On the sleep mode you can barely hear purifier working. You can turn the night glow off. Basically this is perfect for a bedroom environment and it works, bedroom feels and smells fresher.

At the on set of hay fever season I bought 2 of these units together. One for my bedroom and one for my office. It is extremely easy to use and the range of fan power settings is pretty good. As I am working from home, the one i my office is on from 8am – 6pm each day and has worked without any issues for the last 2 months.
I clean the filters once a month and it is noticeable how much duct the filters catch, which by the way are very easy to clean. It has a snazzy night light which is a nice ‘mood setting’ ; the one in my bedroom I put on sleep mode and it is hardly noticeable and also the timer (fixed 2, 4 & 8hr settings) so it switches off through the night.
I can’t say that it filters everything but does make a tangible difference.
I set this up within minutes it’s super easy to use. I will update this in a couple months time with how it’s working but so far so good.
When searching for an air purifier make sure you know where to get the HEPA refills from before you purchase, this was also a selling point for me as the refills for this model are also sold here on Amazon. With many other diffusers it’s a lot harder to find the refills online plus they can be quite pricey! The refills for this one come in at 20 and need topped up every 6 months or so.
It’s sleek, it’s stylish, it really does look the part in our modern home. I’m totally over the moon I took the plunge & ordered this particular model.
What can I say. I placed the item in the bedroom and have had uninterrupted sleep for 4 weeks straight. No waking up for an inhaler puff and no stuffy nose or itchy eyes. It’s brilliant.
The fan speed is on the loud side but I find it becomes white noise after a short while. The handy uplights on the unit provide a non intrusive night light and the night setting itself is very quiet.
The unit looks good too, and although bigger than I’d expected (my fault) it’s mostly inconspicuous.

Bought for a small room that has gym equipment in that tended to end up smelling a little nasty at times, especially during the hotter periods. After running this for just a few hours the room was smelling fresh and clean, and as we leave it running 24/7 it is now permanently maintaining that standard. Cost is negligible too; pennies a day at most.
Filter installation was an absolute breeze – remember to take off the plastic! – and it was doing its thing from unpacking to plugging into the socket in about 90 seconds.
At max setting the noise level may frustrate / annoy some, but honestly for me it is still quiet enough that it just becomes background noise. In a bedroom, sure, you’ll no doubt have to turn it down to the second or first setting but that is why those options exist.
A fantastic product and has given me confidence in the Levoit brand. So much so, I am looking forward to when the Core 300 air purifiers are available for purchase in the UK as I’ll most definitely be getting a few to put in the larger rooms of the house.

On the positive sides – the machine is lightweight so it can easily be moved from one room to another, quiet night mode and doesn’t keep me awake, quiet generally as even on the highest fan setting its not too noisy and I forget that its on, simple to use, its white so fits in well with any furnishings and is subtly displayed unlike some that are very tall and bulky looking.
Presently only using this on night mode with timer set to eight hours, noise level hasn’t kept me awake. The cat has turned it on a couple of times by using it as a launch pad to the window sill.
Was a little sceptical at first as some other well known air purifiers are 5 times the price. The reason for purchase was to eliminate the smell of smoke and after the first day, whilst not totally eliminating the smell it definitely was better. After the 2nd day, it was gone. So a result. The next acid test is seeing how long the filter lasts.

My husband and I love this. I bought it for him as he was suffering terribly with his asthma and hay fever. It’s really helped. It’s very quiet especially on sleep mode.
The setting is fab, you can pick normal with different fan levels as well as sleep mode, which works really well throughout the night.

Simple to set up – clear instructions. Small lightweight portable unit, easy to move from room to room. It’s brand new only 24hrs but the night mode setting was so quiet I picked it up to check it was still working – so that was a huge tick in the box. Fan setting one is quiet – two is fine and three is fine for giving the room a boost but may disturb you if you were a light sleeper but no problem during the day.
I bought this model over the basic model, as I wanted to be able to put it on timer. Bought for my sons room as he suffers terribly with pollen allergies and sinus problems from pet hair/dander (3 Cats ), we are also surrounded by dry crop fields kicking up dust and mould spores and the dreaded oil seed rape crops. All this causes my son a dry cough, which at this time of year turns into a really nasty chesty cough lasting months and breathing difficulties.
Researched for weeks on purifiers and settled on this as didn’t want to spend 600 on one that did the entire house in case it didn’t work so well. This works better than expected – I’ll give it a week and buy another for my room as I’m asthmatic. I’m just so surprised to find something that actually works.
I wasn’t expecting great things, but having had to go to bed early yesterday evening with eyes which felt like someone stuck stingy nettles in them, I was prepared to give anything a go. Guess what, it worked ! Sitting here this evening with my Levoit six feet away from me, eyes are completely normal, no coughing, no sneezing. Definitely recommend. In the great scheme of things my hayfever would probably be classified mild to moderate, but I was suffering. If you buy it, remember to remove the plastic from the filter before you switch on.
Brought this for my 4 year old sons room whom has Asthma, has inhalers which he uses as presents with cough at night.
Since using this there has been a marked reduction in his coughing and therefore can only assume this is attributed to this device. I had read other reviews which also suggest this is beneficial. I feel so long as its a HEPA filter it should have some beneficial effect. I have only ever had this 1 device before but would certainly recommend trying it out, Im glad I did.

Bought three recently. Seems to do the job nicely and looks very stylish!
It looks sleek and very light, ideal for a flat. However, I’m not sure about the performance. I bought it because of the cooking smell and the dust in my flat, I don’t feel like it’s reduced either. The air does seem to be fresher but it’s really hard to tell any real difference. The noise level is not bad during the day, but I definitely can’t go to sleep with it even on the sleep mode. I’m a very light sleeper thou! The price is very reasonable, however, I do wonder if you get what you pay for!

Did the research and this had the best reviews for a sub 80 HEPA filter unit.. HEPA filter was the key reason for buying.
This is the first hay fever season where I’ve noticed a definite improvement in sleep and morning snuffles.. so for that alone it’s been worth the money.
‘Sleep Mode’ (or level 1) is quiet enough, don’t see how it could get quieter as it’s still a fan in a box, but so far it’s not kept me awake, so happy with that.
As for faster speed settings, I would say these are for daytime use as they are quite loud.. so with tv or music on you wouldn’t notice.
Also bought it because of size.. intend to take it on holiday and use it in hotel room, it’s small and portable, my only criticism is they don’t sell a padded carry case, that would be a massive benefit.
Note: Bought ‘pre-covid’ so will not attest to any medical efficiency.

This is the third of this type of purifier I have purchased.
The first was an older model, which is ok, but a bit noisy even on the lowest setting.
This one is much quieter (I’m very fussy about noises but this is perfect for me) and still just as effective.
It also has the ability to completely turn off all lights, which is fab for my partner who doesn’t like any lights on in the room at all.
An essential for me in the summer with hay fever and all year round freshens up the air in whichever room I use it. Brilliant product, would recommend in a heartbeat.

I have 5 dogs, so even with constant hoovering etc it smells of pooches. I now have 3 of these, 1 in lounge 1 in hallway and 1 in bedroom.
People come over and say they don’t realise I have dogs .
3 might seem a lot, but they are only meant to clear a small area.

On the lowest setting, you can hardly hear it. Makes you feel like you’re standing on top of a mountain. Also really helped my sleep that night as I felt more relaxed.

Great item and very quite compared to my last one.
I bought it to remove smoke from my front room while I slept, and it really works a treat. It doesn’t create that fresh atmosphere of a negative ion machine, but it definitely cleans the air much better.
As for the noise level, it’s quite surprising. You could easily watch television with it on the loudest level even if it was right next to you, and the sleep mode is so quiet it barely registers. I assume this is all down to the brushless motor which takes in a measly 15W.
It seems to be a product (I’ve only had it a week or so) that does exactly what it says it does.
And, though I haven’t had to do it yet, the filter is very easy to extract, clean and replace.
So, at the moment, I genuinely couldn’t be happier with it, and if it continues to perform in the way it has been doing, I would recommend it to anyone who thinks it is just what they need.
This is my first air purifier so I can’t really compare it with anything. I could say I have noticed less dust!! The main reason why I got one is because I hate dust, but hate dusting even more so. I suppose that means it’s doing it’s job and my air is a lot cleaner 🙂

My first air purifier, so I do not have much to compare it to. That said, the unit makes a noticeable difference to air quality within minutes in my bedroom or living room. The noise levels in modes 1-2 are low enough to blend in.
It’s really quite as well unlike a few which are quite noisy.
Arrived early and seems to make a big difference. Within 5 mins of turning it on max setting, the air in my small, unventilated room is tranformed. Able to relax like I don’t remember, and the difference is huge.
Setthe thing on timer and fell asleep. Woke up an hour after it timed out feeling uncomfortable. Switched it back kn, feeling fine again. First imoressions are night and day.
Doesn’t have a massive impact on the smart meter.

I’ve had mine for about four months and so far it’s been great. No issues whatsoever. I suffer from hayfever and mild asthma, but this air purifier has noticeably improved the air quality in my bedroom.
Got this for my sons room as he smokes, and it works fine does the job, no smells etc.
Very efficient, very powerful! Adapts motor strength when the filter gets full. Looks lovely. The value for money at 9 more compared to the likes of USB ones with no power is really good.
I’ve been using it for a few months now and I’m happy to say it’s done the job. I gave my room a good dusting before I set it running and the build up has noticeably decreased. I’ve also not found any stuck to any models I have painted since I purchased it so I’m calling it a success.
On the highest setting it’s quite loud and puts out a noticeable breeze but I usually only set it to this when I’m out for the day. If I’ll be sat in the room with it running the no. 2 setting is fine and is almost undetectable if the TV is on also. If you can abide a slight hum the lowest setting is fine to have on overnight.
Really pleased with this. Small, compact but effective. Easy to use.

Nice and compact and looks good in white with the blue front.
Have run this for a day and can already see the dust it has collected on the filter, air is much nicer to breathe. this is an excellent product for a small room and would recommend it.
Incidentally, I noticed other reviews (not sure if it was this model or not) say the carbon filters are quite thin. Apparently this uses two carbon filters, the first is a pre filter and the third is another activated carbon filter on the other side of the HEPA filter. The prefilters seem thin and have quite a lot of gaps (you can see lots of white holes if held up in the light) but I installed two together (it seems to fit two perfectly, almost as if they should be twice as wide in the first place). This makes the whole prefilter much more dense with less holes. I’m not sure if it is safe to do this, I wonder if anyone else has? It should at least make the main filter last longer.
Effective for tobacco does make the room slightly cold but does the job

All the 1 star reviews from people too stupid to read the instructions and several warning stickers on the actual machine to remove the plastic filter cover. I mean come on people, it’s not rocket science.

Works exactly as expected, the lowest setting is very quiet so you can sleep while it’s on. Only been using it a few days now so I’m not a reliable source for durability but it works great.
I have problems with factory nearby with chemical pollution this machine is surprisingly powerfull but has 3 settings so can be turned down quiet so doesnt disturb sleep.
