Absolutely love these headphones, but they should come with the PC adapter.

This headset is awesome for Xbox series x, it connects wirelessly without a USB hub, it connects the same way a wireless controller does. The sound is impressive, it has great bass. The controls are super simple and the design is elegant. They have some weight so they feel premium but are very comfortable. I’ve wore them for at least six hours at a time no problem. They come with a nice bag that is mink lined so your headset stays free of dust, it’s a nice touch. One downside would be that it doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity, that makes it feel a little less premium since it would be nice to have your phone connected for in game music from your own Playlist or to answer phone calls. You can still do that with a supplied 3.5 mm cable if your device supports that port that is. All and all this is a top tier choice for gaming on the Xbox consoles.
After some research in XBOX Series X/S compatible wireless headphones I decided to give these a try. The biggest selling point was that there was no need for a USB adapter. Once the XBOX is booted to the home screen, the headphones immediately connect when turned on. Adjusting game sound/chat sound is simple with volume “wheels” on each side of the headphones. The result is crisp clear audio and chat with the need for wires or adapter. I am very pleased with this.
I haven’t had a marathon session with these yet, but battery life appears to be pretty good. I have been online at times for about 3-4 hours with no battery issues and just “plug” it in when done.
Banging pair of headphones. I bought these to replace my old set of turtle beach, cause they made my ears feel like I’ve just played 80 minutes as scrum half for England after an hour or use. The sound is brilliant, I can hear things in game that my old ones couldn’t pick up. Deffo worth the money.
Edit: I paired them up with the dolby atmosphere app and they are amazing. Backing singers become backing singers – you can actually hear them singing behind the main vocal, and not just sandwiched in alongside. They are tuned spot on, no ridiculous bass masking the mid range. The best set of headphones you’ll get for this money, and probably for 3 times the price too. Makes my beats X sound like a can with string on.
Speedy delivery, and very solid product. Been a Sony headphone guy for ages, great sound poor build these are going to last. Sound is great so far will have to explore wired connection with Tidal for full eval, money value is all there.
For $114, this is a solid headset and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one. I like the clean non-gamer look.
Pro
This headset gets loud (also a nice 50mm driver)
Game/chat balance via rotating wheel vs independent wheels as on my old TB Stealth 700 gen 1
Good battery life
clear microphone
Con
Some static/interference (I believe this can be an issue with most wireless headsets)
Charges via micro USB – hopefully and updated model will switch over to USB-C
No other presets or settings to change to your liking
Amazing headset. Very comfortable and easy to use with incredible sound.
I tried most of the top rated headsets and these are the only ones that they ticked all the boxes and value for money.
That carry case is a Fantastic extra.
U won’t want to send these bk.
Brilliant sounding headset with a really strong stable connection to xbox one and a good clear mic for use with your fire team.
However I had to return them due to the ear cup size and clamping force on your head, I personally found them so uncomfortable to use after about 15 minutes I had to change headsets.
However if you have a smaller head/ears your wont go wrong in buying a pair.
Hope this helps.
The sound quality on these is quite nice. It has a balance of good bass response, while still presenting a bright stage. I also love that they can go LOUD. That’s a good thing, sometimes games or movies aren’t very loud. One negative, and its not a dral.breaker but it is substantial enough to consider: it uses USB micro. Why these aren’t USB c is beyond me. But, for 85 dollars, these are the best in class by a good margin.
Good quality product as expected by the price tag, that being said, the writting in the headband is, in my personal view, of poor taste design wise.
It’s extremely comfortable to use for hours without discomfort, I like specially the versatility, I can use it with my Xbox, phone with or without the removable microphone and whilst I’m traveling without being too conspicuous. Unfortunately it doesn’t have an app for settings and updates as an headset with this price tag should have, the update procedure is bit fidly but doable.
Pros

Cons
No app for settings and updates
Some design features of poor taste

Alright, so before buying this headset I did alot of research and saw the negative reviews it had gathered as well as the positive ones so although skeptical I did end up buying them and have been using them almost daily for nearly three months. I have not been disappointed in the least but with the sound and build quality as well as the mic quality I have not experienced ANY issues with connectivity or poor mic sounds. I have been extremely happy with them and if you have the money I would happily recommend them.

When you open the box it looks quality it feels quality audio is quality multitude of features if anything the only negative is that it’s meant to hide the multiple different functions to keep It’s good looks. What I mean is instead of having multiple Diles you only have two Diles and 2 buttons buttons and you have to remember the functions by memory bye pressing each tile in a specific way. Example press, press twice, press and hold, left sided button or right side but it’s not well label from the outside so it doesn’t look like a gaming headset but rather high quality musicHeadset that you can take outside and people will think is anything else than a gaming headse
Update 20210508
Apparently the newer one is more stable. For anyone on the lookout, if any issues are found, and there are no firmware updates, don’t hesitate to return.
I ended up returning it for now. Everything claimed is fine, but firmware still needs work for stability. I’ll be waiting for the update before I buy again.
On Xbox, this is the best headset I’ve used. I tried so many wireless headsets in the past few years. The dedicated controls easy to access make the experience super convenient. If you need to mute/unmute frequently, control the game chat / game sound balance quickly this is the perfect headset. The product design was well done. The sound is great, it’s high quality. The feeling of the device itself is amazing too.
One issue, it doesn’t have Bluetooth support to get audio from the computer / phone.

Out the box: Easy to hook up to the Xbox and install. Everything works well, sound quality is probably average, definitely better than $30 headsets but not as crisp as $150 ones. Microphone works well as far as I know, Warzone randoms confirmed they can hear what I’m saying lol.. Comfortable, large but not overly bulky like some other headsets. I like the subtle design too. Love the detachable mic, love the rotating sound control and push mute being on the earpiece itself. Very sleek, wireless pairs seamlessly. I’m happy with the purchase as of today. Have not charged yet.
Great product!
Easy to set up and with great sound, and no wires!!
Excellent piece of kit for the price has a great battery life of around 15 to 20 hours between charges, sound is great and is very comfortable for a long gaming session. I gave it 4 instead of 5 as the game to chat mixer on right ear cup isn’t great and have to play around a bit to get a good balance. But all in all a very good wireless headset.
I bought this to use with my Xbox Series X. The headset paired as easy as pairing a controller. It’s very comfortable to wear, I wore it for a full day game session with no discomfort at all. The volume and chat mix controls on the side feel a bit flimsy but work as expected.

Absolutely love them except a few minor flaws…
These are very bass heavy which I love but its not to everyone’s liking. Out of the box I get a random issue of them turning off occasionally however this is not very often. If you update the firmware this issue is corrected however a new one arises where they will stay powered on and require a hard reset easily done by removing the right ear cup pad and inserting a pin in the reset hole.
…update you can use the usb dongle to connect wirelessly to you pc however I have decided to go back to the penrose x as the two issues mentioned above make them unusable I found since the firmware update they would stop responding to commands (stay on) more and more frequently.
Previously I had the audeze penrose x which I returned as they would also stay on and require a hard reset also the mic would randomly start cracking whist in a Teams/Skype call hopefully a one off so I had no choice than to return them for another pair.
What I love about these is the ability to adjust volume/mic settings by twisting the ear cups. 5 eq modes and the ability to mute live audio and mute the mic simply by pressing the cup either side, another awesome feature is the ability to turn off mic monitoring/side tone by pressing and holding the right ear cup. There is an included hard case which you do not get with the Penrose X.
Being able to have Bluetooth connectivity to my phone whist playing online is awesome so I dont miss alerts.
Other than the overall feel the penrose only trump these with the ability of the wireless audio by using the usb dongle other than that these outshine them for 100 less in my opinion. I have tried all xbox headsets including the ls35x and have a smaller head than most 57cm these are my favourite so far. I loved the audio of the penrose but without knowing how to adjust the eq settings I prefer these with the 5 presets especially bass boost ass I’m a bass junkie 😐
I’ve tried all the recent Xbox Series X/S headsets. Spoiler alert: the LucidSound LS50X are the only headset I’ve held onto. Therefore I shall provide some insight into how this headset compares to the other headsets I’ve tried.
Comfort:
1. SteelSeries Arctis 7X
2. LucidSound LS50X
3. Razer Kaira Pro
4. Audeze Penrose
SteelSeries Arctis headsets are well renowned for their comfort, due to the innovative ski goggle headband. In this line-up the LS50X has the most comfortable ear cushions, which are coolant gel infused memory foam. Heavier than most of these other headsets, the thick padding on the headband ensures they are comfortable for long periods. By far the most uncomfortable are the Audeze Penrose, with an excessive clamping force and a headband that can create discomfort on the top of the head after a while. The lack of comfort with the Penrose was a deal-breaker for me.
Audio:
1. Audeze Penrose
2. LucidSound LS50X
3. Razer Kaira Pro
4. SteelSeries Arctis 7X
The top 2 in this category are surprisingly close. The 100mm planar magnetic drivers inside the Penrose provide crystal clear audio, but do lack some oomph in the bass department. The LS50X also have a pristine sound, with a good selection of EQ settings to tailor the sound to your preference. The Razer Kaira go one step further thanks to the Razer app which is accessible via the Xbox console. There you can customise the audio, which I recommend doing so because it really brings the sound to life. The clarity is no match for the LS50X or Penrose, but the drivers inside the Kaira Pro’s is certainly a cut above the Arctis 7X. I was extremely disappointed by the 7X in this regard, with muddy audio and low volume on Xbox. Even after tweaking via the SteelSeries Engine 3 (on laptop) the audio was still weak compared to the others I’ve tested. Certainly a long way short of the standards set by SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless.
Features:
1. LucidSound LS50X
2. Audeze Penrose
3. Razer Kaira Pro
4. SteelSeries Arctis 7X
The LS50X ticks all the boxes: Bluetooth connectivity (simultaneous), 2.4Ghz lossless wireless connection, EQ customisation, 3.5mm jack and USB C charging. The Audeze Penrose is very similar, though lacks different EQ modes. The Kaira Pro features Xbox wireless technology (direct to console compatibility) and has Bluetooth capability – although flawed since it can’t be used independently from the console. The Arctis 7X may seem a bit bare bones by comparison, but it’s the only headset that will work wirelessly across all formats. Change the USB switch from Xbox to USB and it will work wirelessly on PS4/PS5, Switch and PC. Furthermore, with a USB C connector on the dongle it will also work with Android phones.
Build quality & accessories:
1. LucidSound LS50X
2. Audeze Penrose
3. SteelSeries Arctis 7X
4. Razer Kaira Pro
None of the headsets in this category suffer from poor build quality. All are good, though the LS50X is the standout with its premium look & finish. And it’s the only one on the list that comes bundled with a hard carry case. The Penrose also has excellent build, although the memory foam pads from the Mobius seem to have been downgraded to regular foam for the Penrose. The Kaira Pro are the most gamery looking headset, typified by the light show going on with the earcups – though you can disable it. The SteelSeries 7X are no different from their other, similar Arctis headsets. I do feel a refresh is perhaps warranted, and the mesh fabric earcushions can be polarising.
Overall best headset:
1. LucidSound LS50X
2. Razer Kaira Pro
3. Audeze Penrose
4. SteelSeries Arctis 7X
The only reason the Audeze Penrose doesn’t place higher is down to the comfort. Even after a period of breaking the headset in, the comfort was still dissatisfactory. I wish some of these headset manufacturers placed more emphasis upon comfort, because a headset you don’t want to wear for extended periods is largely pointless. Others may get on better with the comfort, so do bear that in mind. I really like the Kaira Pro, other than a few niggles with the Bluetooth functionality, the sound is very good, comfort is great and they’re the most specific headset to Xbox (Xbox wireless & Razer app on console). The most disappointing are definitely the SteelSeries Arctis 7X. The low volume, lacklustre sound certainly detracts from the fact they’re one of the rarest headsets you’ll find (being multiformat).
To conclude, none of the headsets on this list are bad. Each has their strengths, but I’d say the LS50X is the only headset which doesn’t include a significant weakness. So for that reason, I have no hesitation in declaring the LucidSound LS50X is the best headset on Xbox I’ve used to date.
Great headset fantastic sound and only charged them three times since purchase
This is a high quality headset with superior build quality, finishes and materials. Compared to my other headsets — Astro (A10/A20), Plantronics RIG — I found these to be far superior. The sound quality is excellent and I had no problems connecting wirelessly to the Xbox. I also found the large dial volume and mix controls on each muff to be very easy to use and the push to mute functions are also very intuitive. While the detachable flexible boom mic is not as clean as a flip up, it does have the advantage of being easily bent to optimum position for close voice coupling — The mute LED indicator on the boom mic is also a very helpful visual indicator.
Great wireless headphones for xbox. I have the dongle in the USB port on the back of the xbox which is hidden away in the AV closet and have no issues at all with sound. I’ve experience no static noise or sound drops.
Very comfortable, much more comfortable then the Turtle Beach 700s I had just prior. Excellent sound and I like the volume and chat controls. Only complaint is that sometimes the sound can cut out a bit when the battery gets into the last third of it’s strength. The surround sound is excellent and it wirelessly hooks up to my Xbox like nothing.

Have to give credit where it is due with this LS35X headset for Xbox, i have had a multitude of problems in the past with previous headsets due to me being a glasses wearer, most of the ones i have bought in the past have been very uncomfortable due to the pressure it causes but this one is finally the headset I’ve been looking for!!
The comfortability is next to perfect, I have had immense comfortability with this headset and i usual game anywhere around 4-5 hours in a given day! not once did I need to take it off for pressure relief being a glasses wearer, so I can only imagine how comfortable this for the lucky people who don’t wear glasses!!
The connectivity to sync up to the the Xbox is as simple as 2 clicks, the headset came already with a full charge, so they are ready to use straight out the box! Turn on your headset, turn on your Xbox, click sync button on headset and then Xbox, then you’re done… simple as that! must of taken me no more than 15 seconds to get it up and running.
Surround sound on these has blown me away! When you purchase this headset, please ensure that you go into your Xbox settings and enable the ‘Window Sonic for Headphones’ option for your headset, you will not regret it, Incredible bass, immersive 3-D sound, and noise cancellation is an added bonus!
I would of happily paid this price for this headset if it were Wired, so being Wireless i am over the moon with! easy one touch options to mute either game or voice chat, rather than scrambling to find the mute button on wired headsets!! This headset has rings on the ear cups which increase/decrease volume at will, very handy when you want to fine tune your gaming experience while in game!
Included is a great carry/protective case, along with an instruction manual and a sticker on each ear cup (easy peel btw) to scan on your phone which links you to a YouTube video on how to pair these with either an Xbox or PC!
This headset is by far the best value headset on the market, i have bought an additional 2 for my children, would 100% recommend!
These things are super comfortable to wear for hours on end. You hear every nuance in the game including enemies footsteps. The feel sturdy and expensive.

The product was as described and came on time. Best sound ever and great control features to balance voice chat and game sound. Very comfortable compared to cheap headsets. Worth the higher cost.

Had a problem with these after 5 months with crack on the side but amazon were amazing and instantly swapped for another pair.
So to start I had been reviewing several brands of wireless xbox headsets for playing COD-Modern War Fare. The in game chat and game volumes were a concern. Not to mention level of comfort when playing for to many hours at a time.
I will say I was able to find a deal of the day for them but honestly knowing now what I do i would happily pay the full price.
First of all they fit really well. Very comfortable over my ears and the adjustments and tilts work perfectly.
Second I do use the mic attachment to make sure my friends here me crystal clear.
When I first opened them and tried to update the headset and I will say it took awhile. I couldn’t get my laptop to connect to them by the cord provided. However the help # was fantastic and worked with me but after several attempts of disconnecting them and turning them on and off, disconnecting them turn them on and off it finally connected. Updated very quickly. Another quark is once you sync them to your Xbox, with a tap of 1 button, you need to adjust them very slowly and in small increments. Just keep that in mind when trying to here chat and game sounds.
My friends say it is super clear and I hear everything going on!!
Great headset really would recommend for any level. Also added the Dolby atmos. I can def tell things are above or below me.
This headset was exactly what I was looking for. It pairs to my xbox one without any adapters. It has worked well for me since I purchased almost a year ago but the aux cord it came with just stopped working. Not a big deal as another cord will solve the issue but i was expecting a better quality then the dollar store aux cord i have used for years. The audio works well wirelessly as long as i have good line of sight to the console.
Overall this was worth it as the headset is very high quality and the most comfortable pair I have. If you have a PS get an adapter. Lol
Firstly the headset feels great on as the cooling gel in the ear cups work a treat. The sound quality is better than any other headset I’ve used minus Astro’s
The only negative I found was the volume/ chat balance. If they had master volume on one cup and the chat volume on the other these would be perfect but that is not the case. There did not seem to be a balance where the chat and game where at an acceptable level as one always over powered the othe
This headset is good. The wireless connectivity is a gamechanger and strangely rare in Xbox headsets, and I really cannot fault the audio or microphone. However unfortunately for me, the headset was a bit uncomfortable to wear. This still makes the headset a 4* in my opinion, however, when I’m spending on a high-end headset, I’m looking for 5*
Super Sound, gutes Mikrofonmonitoring, saubere und qualitativ hochwertige Verarbeitung. Ist sein Geld absolut wert.

Verametne ottime cuffie!
After update all issues should be fixed battery life is 15 hours sound volume is high and clear mixing mic and volume chat can be a fiddle but one u balance it works fine. This 100 percent wireless no.cables etc apart from when only charging.Unlike Turtle beach I forget model sorry no nasty cracking noise. For 126 u cany wrong and dont forget amazon have a 30 days return policy so if u open and dont like your allowed to return item.
Fantastic. I was coming from TB stealth 600, these are a definite step up in comfort, audio volume and overall sound distribution. The only two weakness are 1-audio/chat mix dial is awkward, certain balance points will cut mic chatter completely. It’s not a bad thing just gotta fiddle with dial easy to work around. 2- mids are a little too high, would’ve prefer slight more distribution to low and high across board, since no EQ adjusting it’s set in stone. Still even with those 2 weakness worth the price I paid which is on sale now. After updating software from PC the connectivity issues all gone, works flawless for me.

These are absolutely outstanding! I cannot find a single thing wrong with them.
Sound is loud, crisp and clear and Dolby Atmos adds that’s extra element you want for gaming.
The microphone is clear and well balanced, wether you have the boom mic or the built in mic in the headset. The noise cancelling works so well the person I was racing with thought I’d cut out when I wasn’t speaking.
The controls are so easy to operate, with easy access dials on the cups, with an easy push of the right ear cup to mute the mic. You even get a handy light on the boom mic to say it’s muted. Balancing game sound with voice is easy and you can even balance your own voice monitor.
The wireless is faultless. I went off to make a cup of tea downstairs and could still hold a clear conversation with my friend online. No glitches or cutting out at all.
For the cost you’re definitely not going to get more for your money. I challenge you, try and find something more feature rich at the price point.
I don’t know why these aren’t advertised more because I happened to hear about them via word of mouth.
Seriously, if you have an Xbox, buy these. Takes seconds to pair and you’re away, enjoying amazing sound and conversation, with stunning surround sound.
Simple pairing, great sound and intuitive controls. Can’t fault it.
Excellent service and my grandson is delighted with the produc
The review below still stands – the headset is very, very good. However we have had a mechanical fault (see picture). Have logged a call with Lucid support, hoping the support process goes well. Will come back and update when I’m through the other side.
Added – support was great, they requested some images of the faulty unit and serial number, then sent out a replacement unit. Very happy,
So only used these a couple of times myself – they were bought as a gift for my 15yr old son.
First things first – syncing with the Xbox was a breeze – just like hooking up a controller. We bought the Xbox Wireless Adaptor for Windows 10 (used some of my MS reward points so got it for free) – this made set up for Windows 10 also very, very easy.
My son is an avid gamer on both PC and Xbox – he’s tried these with Dolby Atmos for headset and DTS – the results for both got a very, very positive “thumbs up”. From a comfort perspective he’s giving these 10/10, its the holidays so he’s been wearing these for at least 6hrs a day since Christmas, so I’ll take his word for it.
The headset does not come with a stand which is a shame – we bought one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07X9S5C3C/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_dsBdEbB0CBH9E which is perfect match and only 9.99.
Still trying to eliminate the mic monitoring, but apart from that they are very good and of good quality all round.

I bought these specifically for Xbox One, however if you plug the cable in then they will also work on PS4. Not only that, but if you find you run out of battery during a gaming session, you can just plug the cable into your controller until you get the chance to charge them again. The sound quality is really good, and the controls on the side of the headset are well placed and very easy to use – ignore the morons saying the buttons are confusing because they’re really not (there’s a button to mute sound & a dial for volume on left ear, and a button to mute your mic & dial for game/chat mixer on right ear).
I’ve edited the 2nd part of my review as after installing the firmware update it fixed the constant drop in connection due to being near a wifi modem. The problem with the firmware is that the instructions given by Lucid Sound to connect the headset to a PC are very vague and there are many people that struggle to connect; I even sent mine back for a replacement as I thought my headset was faulty. Once past that though they work brilliantly and even have a built in mic on top of one to plug in for even clearly quality (so I’ve been told by friends I’ve played with too).
Pros –
very comfortable
audio controls on headset is a good feature (also see cons)
easy to connect
no audio loss or disconnects
Cons
main one for me is the volume controls are VERY sensitive and easy to move. I struggle in certain games like Apex or Destiny2 to find a good balance between the game play and party chat. seems if you move them just a tad they either get too loud or too soft. OR the game volume get to loud and party chat to soft and vice versa.
Also the volume controls are VERY easy to move, so when i take them off to go to another room for a minute they can easily rotate. When i get back I go though the above con all over again.
Overall I really like them compared to a few other ones Ive tried and love the wireless part.
Audio quality is very good although a tad base heavy.
I’ve been through many different types of headsets for my Xbox One X but never found any that I was comfortable with for long 4+ hour gaming sessions. The LucidSound LS35X was priced a little more than I wanted to pay but I bought it, and I’m glad I did.
The packaging is great with high quality materials and no superfluous extras. The headset comes with a lovely storage bag that is quite thick and has a very soft lining.
The first thing I did was update the firmware (you can Google search on how to do this) using a Windows PC (I’m not sure if you can use a Mac to update the firmware although the file I downloaded did have a Mac folder). The LucidSound website has an excellent support section with FAQs and videos that allow you to get the best out of this headset.
Pairing with my Xbox One X took less than a minute. The audio is fair I would say. It’s definitely not HiFi quality audio but is pleasant and not fatiguing to listen to games and chat for hours on end. The mic is good and the volume and chat-mix controls are easy to use once you learn which earpiece does what. The audio through the earpieces can be muted as can the mic (there’s an LED on the mic that lights up red when it has been muted. The volume levels can go quite loud and the mic is quite sensitive. The mic needs to be positioned carefully as it can pick up your breathing quite easily.
I knocked off one star in this review for the following: the headset is quite heavy (but still acceptable for long gaming sessions) and the earpieces get quite hot leaving my ears feeling hot and sweaty after several hours. However, it’s the best headset for Xbox One that I’ve used so far. Build quality is average so this headset will need to be treated carefully to avoid it breaking.
I bought it as a present. I am currently considered the best girlfriend in the whole world, ever.
Previously had the Turtle Beach stealth 600s, they were a good pair however they started to get a little shotty after 2 years of daily use. These are an excellent upgrade in ALMOST every way.
The sound is definitely a notch above, you do really feel immersed in whatever youre playing, especially with the volume cranked up.
Build quality is like night and day compared to the TB’s, these feel heavy duty, and dont feel like you could snap them in half by sitting on them. The “cooling gel” in the ear cups also seems to work well, i unfortunately dont have AC where my Xbox is set up, so it does get a little warm however i can imagine this not being an issue in slightly cooler areas.
Connection wise is the only thing that can be a headache, although to be fair it affects ALL Xbox headsets. Almost every time i start these up they do not connect first try, and i have to turn them off and turn them back on and then they connect immediately. I specifically chose wireless because i do alot of walking around in my smallish apartment wile watching youtube or netflix, and these do fit the bill however there is not a crazy amount of range, they can probably make it 25 feet unobstructed however put a wall up and you might have issues at 20 feet or less.
Overall i have these at 4 stars because they are good, however if the connectivity issues could be solved it would shoot to 5 stars for sure. Would absolutely recommend these as an upgrade to anything below this price point.
I have had these for about 4 months almost and they are great overall headset, especially for the price. The sound quality is true to the music when listening to your favorite songs and the microphone picks up just right. It is sensitive enough to hear your voice clearly even at a lower talking volume but does not pick up a lot of background noises like some brands tend to. They even connect to Xbox One wirelessly using the built in wireless frequency, so no dongle is required ever!
The only thing I am starting to just notice a problem with is the earcups fabric is starting to wear at the outer edge already. Now i do sweat easy but even a pair i had before these which were half the price lasted me almost 4 years before the earcuffs started to tear. Even though they have a cooling layer on the ear side it doesn’t help enough to combat heat buildup and I still sweat. Seems like they chose a material that is either too thin or not strong enough.
All in all i still think they work better than most headsets on the market and the direct wireless connection to the Xbox natively is something i don’t want to do without.
They sound good and mic quality is good. The battery lasts as advertised and connect right away to the Xbox. When I was researching them, I saw they had cut out issues, but were supposed to be fixed with a firmware upgrade. I did the upgrade before even using them the first time, but after a few hours they start to lose connection.
The other problem is the light. I game on mute, and unmute if I need to say something. When you are on mute, the tip of the mic lights up red, which is useful, but I wish you could turn it off. If I’m in a public match and feel like I might have to say something every 10 minutes, it’s a pain to remove the mic and put it back in.

Good quality over all and quite sturdy, has a couple plastic parts that I’m skeptical of as others in the range such as the ls20 are full metal construction on the bands and adjustment, great sound, mic quality and battery life is great, one charge lasts me for the week mostly, if you’re buying these purely for an xbox then they’re great but as they use the new Microsoft wireless standard will have to be wired to anything else like a phone or ps4, there are dongles to make them work wirelessly with pc also, not too heavy but can take a minute to get them comfortable for long sessions, there can be a few issues with other xboxs in close proximity as they can interfere with audio and cause drop outs but is easily fixed by taking the headset and controller to the limit of range and allowing them to reconnect on a quiet band. Would give 5 stars if they used a full metal band assembly like in some cheaper models but I’m fairly picky
5/5
The good and the great:
No connection issues as others have reported it seems to have been fixed
Sounds are Superb
Immersive experience
Really like the dials for volume and game chat balance especially in overwatch when ppl have crappy mics
Mic performance is excellent and I think it’s really cool how you can hear yourself speak but I did notice this to not always work at first, but it’s been spot on ever since so idk
Cooling memory foam is actually cooling
Battery life is great, use for like 8-10 hours at a time no problems still have more than half battery
Can charge and use simultaneously
Limited fx available with direct connect to Xbox controller if battery dies
The bad
It’s heavy, def fatigue factor for your neck unless you have it perfectly balanced, but the heavyness is also is what gives it a very high premium feel
Too immersive? You can’t hear shit but the game really this may be a con for some
No charging dock, this to me is a biggie, why why is there no dock to easily charge
Why why why why is this NOT USB-C
Overall excellent headset significantly above par with competition. Downsides primarily product weight, but premium feel makes up imo. When I say premium feel, we talking primo primo ok. Like you know it’s nice when you smell/touch it. Go for Amazon warehouse like new version <120 and you got a great deal. Above 120, Idk, I prolly wouldn't pay that for any headset tbh.
Superb headset great value for money ,superb sound….very easy to set up and use.
Decent instruction manual but omits the most important thing….how to update the firmware.
There are two control wheels one on each side, the left is for master vol and the right mixes chat and game audio. If you think the volume isn’t loud enough turn the right wheel anti clockwise.
Sound quality is outstanding on this headset and battery life is substantial. You will get occasional sound drops and the frequency of these will depend on how many wireless devices you have running simultaneously. If you do get frequent sound drops then restarting the headset seems to help, along with turning off all other wireless devices – sound bars/phones/tv WiFi etc.
Audio: 5/5
Design: 5/5
Comfort: 4/5
Connectivity: 3/5
Battery life 4/5
Overall 4/5
I sent them back first time but sound quality really is special, so I can compensate with a split second drop out a couple of times an hour.
Superb purchase, sound is stunning, mic works really well. So easy to connect to Xbox, same as a controller and completely wireless including chat. Easy to use dials for volume and game chat mix. Highly recommended, very comfortable for long sessions
First of all i would give it 4 1/2 stars if i could because the sound quality is fantastic and build/comfort is good. Coming from a rig800lx which i really liked for a long time but was wanting something with more vollume without any distortion and so far these meet my expectations perfectly. Fantastic for online gaming or imersing yourself in a gameworld.
Now there are really only 3 slight negatives i can think of,
First the set up for the firmware update is slight pain
Second it would be nice if it would keep the mic monitering off if you left it off before shutting off the headset so you dont have to sit there holding a button every time
Third I would like a little chime or something to let you know when it turns on so you dont hold the button till you think you hear it turn on
All in all great buy for the used price maybe even for the new price just make sure you read All the Directions thoroughly and set your mix to about where you want it and it will deliver for whatever you are looking for with this headse
Before you use them make sure you plug them into your computer first and do a firmware update. Was excited to try them as soon as I received them connected them to my xbox and they were constantly dropping the sound, plugged them into my computer did a firmware update and was 95% fixed was having minor issues with sound crackling I read in the manual to walk away about 30 feet with the controller and it would force the xbox to pick a new channel for the headphones, I ignored it, but later I went roo the kitchen to grab a drink with my headphones on and controller still in hand not thinking about it and well it reset the connection and now they have been 100%

Well made headset, very sturdy. Battery lasts a long time for decent gaming sessions. Great sound and clarity makes this headset a no-brainer. Highly recommend and really pleased I purchased these.
When I bought my Xbox One X, I also got a pair of Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headphones. Although they sounded ok-ish, the build quality was really low as they were made out of cheap plastic and made squeaky noises whenever I moved the earcups, which drove me nuts since they were brand new.
Anyway, back to the LS35X, I was amazed at both the build quality and the surround sound. I’ve tried them wired(with my laptop and my phone), wireless(Xbox and laptop), with Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos for Headphones. No matter how you use them they sound fantastic, would definitely recommend these to anyone that doesn’t want to spend over 300 to get something like the Astro A50.
I upgraded from a polk wired headset when these went on sale prior to Christmas. The sound and design of these headsets is fantastic. I am able to wear these for long periods of time with no discomfort. The placing the volume and game/chat mix controls on the ear cups is a great design and makes it easy to fine tune each. The same can be said for the large headset and chat mute buttons that are built into the design of the left and right ear cups. The mic boom is easily positioned to your preference and I’ve never had party members tell me that they were having trouble hearing me. The mic boom also has a red light which visually indicates whether chat is muted.
Battery life seems to be as advertised although you won’t get much warning from the headset before they go dead, you’ll have about 10-15 minutes of use after the “headset battery low” warning pops up. There is an indicator on the xbox screen next to the controller battery indicator that will give you an idea of how much charge is left.
Before I paired the headset with my xbox I updated the firmware of the headset on the manufacturer’s website. Over two months of use I have only had one instance of a poor connection/sound drop so it would seem the issues reported when the headset was first rolled out has been corrected.
In summary, this headset combines fantastic sound quality with smart design to provide gamers with a premium experience at an affordable price.
At last I have found a pair of headphones that are comfortable to wear. Maybe I have ears like Dumbo but I never can get over ear headphones that actually go over my ears, instead they become on ear headphones. These sit very comfortably over my ears and have very comfortable padding so I barely notice them and can wear them for many hours without discomfort. Not only are they comfortable but, unlike some gaming headsets, they actually sound good and are completely wireless too. Maybe a little more expensive than some other headsets but so far they definitely seem worth the extra money.
This was worth the delay. The sound quality is amazing. I play FPS games and I can hear a firefight that is a ways away clearly.
The internal mic is okay. I felt like I had to yell a bit for people to hear me. They said that it sounded like I was far away. So I only use the external/removable mic for chat.
The volume and sound mix controls are easily accessed without much game interference. This can also be said about the sound and mic mute buttons.
I’m glad there is a light on the external mic when it is muted. I tend to forget when I’m muted on other headsets.
The onscreen prompt when the battery is low is good to have. It is the same prompt you get when the controller batteries are low.
It synced with the Xbox easily. It tells you, onscreen, every time you turn the headset on that it has been paired.
The USB cable that is included is rather short but is okay for charging when not in use.
I have not used the audio cables that we’re included so I don’t know how those work.
It’s comfortable during use. And I use it for hours on end sometimes.
There some sound issues when I first got it but those were cleared up with a firmware update.
Overall this a great headset. I had a Turtle Beach headset before this and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good wireless headset.
I couldn’t be happier with this headset. Great sound, comfortable and battery life is really good to. I was worried about buying these after old reviews mentioning connection issues. But reviews have got alot better since the released firmware update. I have used them for over a week now and have used them alot and I haven’t had any issues what so ever. I paid 100 more for my last headset (turtle beach elite 800x) and I’ve got to say the sound on the lucid sound headset is far superior. Granted the turtle beach had a silly amount sound presets but I could never settle on one that I was 100% pleased with. The lucid sound headset doesn’t have any but the sound is excellent with anything I have tried with them! (Gaming, Netflix and Spotify) I also really like the mic monitoring which you can turn on and off, plus the monitoring turns up as you increase the game volume so you can always hear your own voice! On a final note the headset doesn’t come with any mention how to do the firmware update but is easy to with a quick Google and takes minutes to do
Klang groartig.
Ansonsten klare Kaufempfehlung

I’m an owner of the LS20s and love them, the only reason I got these was because I was fed up with the cable to the controller. No worries anymore.
Easy set up and easy to update(via pc, laptop or netbook with usb).
Sound is amazing but can be made even better with Dolby Atmos which is a must have for anyone on Xbox. If you don’t want to shell out for DA(was 15 when I bought it but is now/was on sale) then these will work with the windows sonic setting too.
Battery life good and they are very comfortable. I game/watch movies or TV shows in these for hours.
The LS35X has received some flack since launch, and rightly so for the reported connectivity issues. But LucidSound has been swift to act with a firmware update. I updated my unit out of the box and haven’t experienced a single issue. It is also worth noting my Wi-Fi setup at home is heavily congested. So onto the headset itself, build quality is superb. Not the lightest of headsets but the weight is distributed evenly and the metallic materials do give it a premium feel. The ear cushions are soft and good quality, my only slight issue is the headband – which I feel is insufficiently padded. For extended play the headband can eventually begin to weigh down, which when compared to suspension headbands I’ve used previously, whilst not a major flaw, it’s not on a par for comfort. I do really like the memory foam, coolant gel infused ear cushions however, which compensate to a degree.
Setup is straightforward – which includes the firmware update, though a PC/laptop will be required. Audio is fantastic, which is well-balanced, has deep bass and excellent clarity. In a different league to the Razer Thresher for instance, and have a cleaner sound signature than the Astro A50 Gen 3s. Only the Arctis Pro Wireless trump this headset (slightly) for clarity, but those have weak bass.
They are very loud too. As an Xbox owner I can’t find fault with the streamlined, ease of use and flawless performance. If you expect a host of features then you may be disappointed. You could say it’s bare bones in that department, reflected by what you get in the box: headset, soft case, USB charge cable (short), 3.5mm cable, detachable mic. There is only one signature sound and the buttons on the headset are minimilastic. But what a sound, why have options to pointless EQ settings like superhuman hearing or bass boost when the standard EQ is so impressive.
For Xbox owners, there’s a lot to like, though it’s not without a few niggles. It isn’t perfect then, but then which gaming headset is? None are in my experience!
Other platform users may be better advised waiting for the LS41 since the seamless functionality with Xbox is one of its main features.
(Grund fr Rcksendung)
I also got mine from Amazon.com because it was available sooner & slightly cheaper, Delivered Oct 26, 2018 I’m using them daily & have no issues after first update, Playing games like Battlefield V with fighters flying all around show how good these are for direction sound! (Previous Headset Turtle Beach x800) If I had to find fault I would say I’m not a big fan of the bendy mic arm but its functional & easily replaced if it becomes faulty. Very comfortable with NO wires anywhere, just perfect!
Ill try to keep this short. Overall the headset is nice. Decent build quality, and pretty good sound quality. I love how the headset connects directly to the xbox. If you turn off the xbox the headset is also turned off and vice versa. Battery life is decent but could be improved. However if i am being honest i think that wired headsets are better than wireless, i have tried nearly all wireless headsets and all suffer with the same problems, connection.
The Bad:
Could be more comfortable, im not a fan of the head strap. Wish it was like steel series with the elastic band, less pressure on your head, but overall not bad just wish it was better.
CONNECTION!! all wireless headsets have this issue, sometimes they cut in and out. I despise this, this headset does it less than others but still does it nonetheless. Especially at low battery!
Mic: While not the worst mic i have used, it is definitely not the best. Often my friends would complain that at times my mic makes it sound like i am underwater or has static. While not always the case, it can happen. Plus side is that the mic is detachable so i can get it replaced if it does break.
Overall the headset is a nice choice but definitely not perfect, much to improve on, but compared to other sets it is great. This is just a short review, i have left out a bunch but its nice to know some flaws to consider.
Just as a comparison, i have also owned the Astro A50’s. And they had a MUCH worse connection issue than these. even on full battery i would often lose connection.
So I want to start out by saying that the design and build quality of this headset are amazing. The controls are intuitive, the headset is comfortable and feels durable. I was very excited to receive the headset and try it out. I was then very disappointed when I discovered the wireless interference problems that cause the audio to cut out. For me, this problem rendered this headset unusable. I would be trying to play Black Ops 4 Blackout and the audio would constantly cut out at the worst times. I tried all of the tips to improve the headset’s performance and the only thing that somewhat worked was physically moving closer to the Xbox. I read about LucidSound developing a firmware update to fix the problem so I decided I was going to wait it out. I emailed customer service for an ETA of the firmware update and to my surprise they sent me a beta version of it. After 2 nights of gaming I can say the beta completely fixed the audio cut outs. I was very happy with the company’s customer service. The release of the firmware update should be out soon. I would advise to wait it out. This headset is worth it.
Update:
After a firmware update which you need to install through your computer. I can firmly say the product is better and a lot of the problems like disconnecting and mic monitoring are fixed. My only gripes with the product now are that they are still not the most comfortable headset I’ve worn. Maybe range could’ve been better, and battery life as well.
Old:
The headphones look premium and feel premium. However I got a few problems with them. Range wise they go up too 15 ft. Which is okay, but it’s hard to take them around wherever you want compared to my previous headset which had a much longer range.
Connectivity:
This is in my mix feelings. While they do connect directly to the xbox I’ve had problems where random disconnections are frequent for no real reason, they do reconnect but they drop frquently.
Battery life:
In my opinion it’s horrible compared to the competition. They don’t last as long as it is advertised on medium volume, and they are not as comfortable around your head as other headsets with the double band for long periods of play. The top of your head and even your ears start feeling uncomfortable which btw I wear glasses so it may vary. All in all, they are great for sound but not much of anything else.
Edited 12/5: I returned the original pair I had when they launched only to be doomed by constant audio drops from my Xbox One X. When they did a flash sale on their site I went ahead and repurchased them as I had read their new firmware fixed the issues I was having. Low and behold — they work like a dream now! Love these headphones top to bottom. Only thing keeping it from a 5/5 is having a more inventive charging solution such as a dock of some sort!
This product is amazing! Great look, functionality, sound quality, comfort… but unfortunately connectivity issues render the item useless. I played many hours suffering through audio drops of about two seconds in length at about an average of every 10-15 seconds. Sometimes go several minutes with no drop, but it always returned. For a $200 pair of headphones, that simply will not do. I’m sad to say I will be returning these after waiting over a year for their release. 🙁
Only used them for about 20 hours, but loving this headset. I had those turtle beach 600 wireless headsets and thought they were cheap junk.
Pros:
-Great surround sound with Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic
-Well built frame that is sturdy/comfortable
-Love the way you tune the sound/chat with the earcups on the side
-Connects almost instantly with Xbox console
-Nice, optional mic with lighting letting you know when its not in use
-Came with an awesome carrying case to house the headset
Cons
-Mic monitoring is so low for me or I’m having difficulty figuring out how to get it working like I want. I’m assuming LucidSound is working on an update on this one.
Last thing I wanted to note that is I’ve had maybe two connection drops in audio since I’ve been using and they last maybe 2-3 seconds tops. So minimal that it does not even concern/bother me.
EDIT (rated 5* now) – If your LS35X headset is unresponsive and can’t be turned off, on, or charged, hold down the following three buttons at the same time to reboot it: Mic Mute, Game Mute, and pairing. The headset should power off. You can then power the headset on normally.
Waited almost a year for this headset…
Connected these to my xbox instantly, and started playing Destiny 2…they sounded amazing. Played for a few hours and went to the bathroom with them on to test the range. They cut out a little and then audio stopped. I came back to my xbox and noticed they powered off. Tried to power back on but no response. Tried charging for a bit (the power indicator light is supposed to pulse when charging) and still no response. Let them charge for 30min, still nothing…
Ill let them charge for a couple hours but i assume the internal battery died…very disappointed.
Ill edit if they manage to start working again but as of right now they are too new to find similar responses online and the company phone number provided says they are closed…assuming it’s because it’s the weekend.
EDIT: after performing a brand new Xbox One update, the problem seems to have disappeared. Will adjust my review accordingly from 3 to 5 stars.
So far there are pros and cons.
Cons:
The dials on the ear pieces to adjust volume and game/chat volume mix are quite noisy, the plastic of the dial grinds on the plastic of the ear piece, so that’s kind of annoying. Aluminum would’ve been much smoother and at $180, I guess they felt they needed to spare expensive where they could.
But the most annoying thing so far is that after using them paired to my One X for about 2 hours, I tooo a break and turned everything off. Came back to get back into my game and suddenly the audio started cutting in and out for about 2-3 seconds at a time. Complete loss of audio intermittently plus what sounds like clipping (quick static) occasionally as well. These headphones were amazing up into this point and now I am frustrated trying to figure out how to fix this problem. I do have Dolby Atmos enabled, so I will go to windows sonic for a bit here and see if that makes a difference. It will not change my opinion about the headset either way.
Pros:
Comfortable. Well built. Easy to pair.

The hardest part about writing this poor review is that these cans were delayed for SO long and even after all the delays they still haven’t produced a strong product.
It’s tougher than I would like finding that perfect balance between game audio and chat. It’s simple to do, but it feels like you can turn the dials alot before you notice a change and peoples voices be loud af in your ear. You adjust the game volume and now you can barely hear people. I found a good mix, but it took some playing with. I love that i feel totally immersed in games now because the audio is louder than my last headset. Windows Sonic really shines in game allowing you to pinpoint exactly what direction sound is coming from. Played Destiny and PUBG. PUBG made a big difference. Mic monitoring isn’t really great, the mic has to be really close to you mouse and you barely hear yourself. I did randomly loose sync for a couple second about 2-3 times within about 5 hours of use. I also totally lost connect when i went into the kitchen with them on (NY apartment so I didn’t go far) and had to power the off and on real quick to reestablish the connection. Overall I really love them and do not regret my purchase one bit. Oh, and battery is still going strong after 5 hours and i never charged them out of the box.
