Good camera. I find the battery life to be adequate for our needs + like the range of lullabies.
My only issue with this is the really bright blue ‘charging’ light on the monitor. It’s so bright it lights the room at night, so I have had to put a sticker over it!
Good camera but monitor cannot keep its charge which happened about 5 months after getting it and now has to be plugged in all the time so I must make sure I am near a plug to see the monito
We’ve only had a few days but so far really like this camera. We had the previous generation from the same brand and needed a new one after 3 years of constant use, and this is just as good if not better and nicer in design. Very easy to set up and most importantly for us is not on WiFi so safe and also helps with set up as it’s just a case of plug in an go and so will be really easy to take with us when going on holiday or visiting family. Night vision and sound is very good too
I was so unsure what to get and read every single review on nearly a 100 monitors but took the plung on this one. It had everything I wanted from wifi free (as don’t want to risk people hacking into camera and seeing my baby) to talking ability. It even plays lullabies with a simple press of a button. The night vision is amazing quality especially where others are very pixilated or unclear. It even has sensor mode that the monitor will go off if there is movement so your room won’t be light all night

This is a great budget option with reasonable range and picture quality but the battery life isn’t incredible. The start up melody of the screen can’t be turned off and may be a little loud for some but not an issue for us.
Well worth the money and more secure than the wifi baby monitors
Love this. Spent a fortune on an angel care 200 for my first born . This is just as good in fact better as my baby loves the music option at nap time. Picture great sounds great movement great what a fab product for the price .battery life better than my angel care one . buy this one !
The monitor battery doesn’t lay for very long but nevertheless I just keep it plugged in when using anyway as I only use it through night. Quality and sound etc is all good
We do love this product. Would buy again if we had the choice. We love the night vision, the clear image and the clear sound. Also love how easy it is to set up and use. Love the fact that it is simple and not attached to any complicated apps or the internet which is much safer in my opinion. There are a few things I’d change though. The battery life is so poor that we have to have both units charging at all times. Slightly inconvenient. The image quality in the dark just before the infrared comes on is really poor. There should be an option to change to night vision on request. Also the daft tune that jingles when you turn on the video unit is too loud. Baby can hear it in the room next door – it is unnecessary and even woke my partner once. Apart from the few things mentioned above- it’s a great little baby cam and I’m glad I bought it. Really happy customer.
After a few months of use, I can say that I am very happy with this purchase. The night vision is great and overall this is a nice baby monitor which does the job. I always keep it connected to the mains, so I cannot really comment on the actual battery life.
Can’t complain, everything works great, easy to install, great range, can see in the dark and the monitor is loud enough to hear. Also closed system so feels secure.
Handier than our old wifi one connection wise as works at the end of the garden but there is a black spot in our utility which is slightly inconvenient. Picture quality great and battery life as to be expected.
We bought a cubo ai first of all as we wanted something that did it all, but it didn’t meet our expectations. So we did some research and ended up purchasing something more simple. It’s fab, and does the job perfectly. The only thing I’d say is that the colour of grey looks more brown on screen. Other than that, I’d recommend especially as it’s not Wifi so won’t be hacked
Picture is clear, I can clearly see baby’s stomach moving when she breathes which is always settling. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a camera monitor. I can’t imagine why you’d spend 100s when this does exactly what you need!
I have been using this camera every night for the past 8 months it picks up every tiny sound, you can even use this in the garden the signal stays perfect. And the quality of the camera in the dark is good can see your little one breathing. Highly recommend this baby cam

It is so important that if something goes wrong, a problem can be readily resolved. In this case I would have no hesitation in commending the approach of this business.
My wife and I bought this baby monitor in November 2021 in preparation for the birth of our grandaughter in January 2022. The baby monitor proved reliable and effective until just over a week ago.
Our son and his wife had taken their daughter to stay in France – but the conditions were extremely hot – the upper 30s and even low 40s almost every day of their 12 day stay. The camera module stopped powering up – and despite trying alternative charging leads, it continued to fail throughout their holiday.
Our son contacted me and I contacted the supplier – “Edith & George” – and was reassured that the matter would be readily resolved. In fact it was arranged that the full product would be returned as soon as possible and a replacement sent.
On reaching home, our son plugged in the camera module and it began working again. He has put the issue down to the intense heat which may have caused issues with charging the rechargeable battery in the module.
At least now we know that if the product does fail during the warranty period, the matter will be dealt with quickly by this excellent supplier.
I purchased these for my 2 granddaughters after reading the other reviews, I have to agree with all the positive reviews there really good, I love that they are anti hacking as this was important as-well, the clarity on the monitor is fab and love the 2 way volume, would definitely recommend, also fast delivery received next day even thou it said up to 5 days for delivery
The camera works brilliant and sound is clear for as soon as our baby makes a noise, however the battery life on the parent unit doesn’t last very long and therefore requires to be constantly plugged into the wall to ideally maintain power. Other than that, fairly good value for money.
The monitor does the job amazingly!!! I like the fact that I can keep an eye on baby’s room temperature and talk back to baby when trying to wake up, excellent night vision and sound. I am very impressed with the distance it can reach if after going down to the basement
My only issue with it is that the baby unit has to be plugged at all time so I am not fully comfortable with having the wire hanging and also the parent unit battery life is not great but it lasts long enough for baby’s nap time but then is better to put to charge before next nap and definitely stays plugged overnight. It will be better when baby is older I won’t nap for as long
I’ve used a few of these now as a nervous first time mum and this is easily the best. It’s clear and doesn’t take time to catch up like the wifi ones do
It’s not too strong a statement to say this has changed my life. My husband has dementia and can be very noisy. Now instead of running into a room incase he’s had an accident, I check the monitor. Same at night, instead of getting up, I can open one eye, see he’s asleep and go back to sleep.
This is a well-equipped, easy to use product, that I have no hesitation in recommending to others.
– It is easy to set up and reliably connects each time.
– There is a sound-activation mode where the screen only turns on if the baby makes a noise, which maintains battery life well. You can of course choose to turn the monitor on at any time, in addition to this.
Bought this monitor over a year ago and it is great. Does the job, screen is good size, can hear and see everything baby is doing. Great quality and well priced. Haven’t had an issue until this week when the monitor stopped working (not a fault with the product but more so likely a good bash from a toddler!) I contacted customer service and they immediately replied offering help with replacement parent unit at a discount if it had been accidentally damaged or checking to see if it was faulty as still under warranty. Chris really went above and beyond for me. As it turns out the monitor screen is now working again so no need to replace. But if you have any issues, which I’m sure you won’t as I haven’t in over a year until my toddler got hold of it, rest assured they will be on hand to assist.
The product has been great throughout, i have had it since October 2020 and used it every day since December 2020. Great features and night vision to watch our baby, i recently contacted the seller with regards to some support questions which was also resolved very quickly and professionally cannot recommend this product and seller enough.
Good monitor. The music option is nice but after using once it plays the same song over and over again. Would have liked to use this option more but can’t. Good picture quality, battery life not very good but using the Vox setting makes it last a bit longer.
The camera is a really good quality. We have attached it to our wall so we can see directly down into the cot and have perfect vision of our toddler. We thought the value for money was so good we bought a second when our second baby was born. Unfortunately both our chargers ended up faulty. But thankfully, after getting in contact with the company directly (not through Amazon) they have sent us 2 replacement chargers which is much appreciated.
Very happy with this purchase! Been using it for a few months now. Night vision and sound is lovely and clear. It comes with suckers on the bottom which help keep it secure, they do come loose easily if you need to move camera location but it’s simple enough to reattach. Really glad I chose this camera, I can tell who ever made it put a lot of thought in it.
We have been using this monitor every day for over 7 months and the quality hasn’t decreased. Good camera, works great during day and night. Not UHD but does the job very well. It’s very light so we stuck it to the wall using a single Command strip. The monitor has good battery life, it lasts 2 to 3 days, depending on usage. Charges within couple of hours. Camera gets activated by noise and it’s very sensitive (sensitivity can be adjusted). The temperature indicator is very handy. Not movement activated. Initially we had a problem with the camera (our fault in not positioning the camera correctly) but the customer service helped with the issue in no time. Will definitely be using this camera for our second baby.
This is the best monitor I’ve had in the past four years and I wish I’d bought this one first! We’ve had several other brands within the same price bracket and all of them have had issues. So I’m I sent back due to poor picture quality but we’ve had to Motorola’s that had quite a bit of static and in the end both broke as the power button on the monitors stopped working.,
This has a “slide” power switch so it won’t fail like those did. It also has a much better picture quality and hardly any noise/static at all!
Great until you turn on the lullaby music, to loud to be soothing so no point in ever turning it on to use no option to turn down either, battery does not last overly long either, baby goes up at 7 30 and is pretty much dead by 9 and the monitor for the bedroom needs charging , the picture quality is good and so is the night vision, I would recommend
Pic quality is decent night vision is great. Connection is fine given you don’t need WiFi which is great if you wanna take it somewhere. Sound lags a little but no concerns. Love the vox setting. Screen is a little small but does the trick. The suction caps could do with being bigger.
I like that this is made by a UK company. The instructions are clear and I’m sure they would help if they got in touch.
Everything works simply and is easy to understand. The features are perfect (everything that is needed, without being overly complicated). Camera, voice, doesn’t need Wi-Fi, has motion detection and temperature monitor.
I would have paid a little bit more for a camera/screen combo that is slightly higher quality (although exactly the same in every other way), but the current price/quality trade-off is still excellent.
Last night my baby sneezed out her pacifier while asleep, I was able to rush and soothe her before she fully woke up. Result!
I don’t normally write reviews as I’m too lazy, but I will on this device. Purchased through Amazon and have now been using for several weeks. Really surprised by how good this is – it’s not the most expensive bit of kit lets be honest. Small and light monitor unit which is easy to carry around, and has a retractable stand. Signal strength is really good, as is battery life. VOX mode is very useful, especially at night as the picture only comes on where there is motion/noise. Camera is small and light, which makes mounting easy. Camera being able to play lullabies is a god send frankly. One slight bug bear is that you can’t choose the lullaby, it just cycles through random ones and sometimes seems to get stuck playing one – which is mildly annoying – but otherwise I could not be happier with this.
I was going to buy the more expensive model but as we only need it occasionally when one of the grandchildren stays we felt it was too expensive. This one does the trick for a lower price. It would be lovely to have a bigger screen etc but this is great and perfect for our needs and I find the temperature gauge a great help. Tx
Great video quality in both standard camera and night vision, great sound quality. Range covers that which I need it to (two storeys). A lovely simple to use monitor.
If any complaint, it’s that in VOX mode once the monitor has been activated it only displays video/audio for ~10 seconds before turning off again. It could lead you to believe baby has self soothed and settled again when they are in fact still crying. Not sure if there’s a setting that would help remedy this.
I bought this originally back in 2019 after I had a faulty monitor which was another brand. This turned out to be a fantastic buy. It works really well , night vision and sound both great. Then unfortunately the parent unit got broken, this was not due to a manufacturing fault so when I found I was expecting my next back it was and obvious a choice to see if I could replace just the part that was broken. I got in touch with the sellers and I cannot tell you how helpful they were. The product was initially out of stock but they quickly emailed me with a link to purchase once it was back in stock. The company have been bound helpful in helping me get this sorted quickly and in time for the arrival of my baby. Thanks to Chris and the team I can highly recommend you and the product.
Overall, a good monitor. Picture quality is good and the night vision is good, sometimes let down by a small bit of lag from real time to video. This lag would not let down the overall review but it is noticeable from time time. The biggest downside to this monitor is the battery life, at most you might get three hours and that is pushing it. I suppose the idea behind it was to bring it with you while you were making tea running a house errand, otherwise it would be need to be charged frequently.
This baby video monitor is great for the price, there are so Pros and Cons about this device however:

# Temperature is not accurate, the heat from the camera itself will affect the temperature reader.
# The suction cups for the camera frankly – sucks, it comes off too easily
# The mic function is delayed
# Uses Mini USB which is quite outdated now
Overall I am satisfied with this product, however due to the cons I’ve knocked off one star from my review.
We have had this now for two years, certainly one of the most used items we bought, have used this every day for the last two years. The battery lasts about 5-6hours before it needs to be plugged in.
The night mode is good but for the higher price I have seen others with clearer pics but it’s not caused issues for us.
Recently the sound has stopped working (twice so far) and have had to turn it off via the camera and on again to reconnect it. Hoping not the device starting to fail.
The one thing I wish it had was the option to puck the song instead of having to go through all the songs as he only liked one track.
This baby monitor is a lovely buy if you dont want to spend hundreds. The camera is held on to a surface with two small suction feet – they come off occasionally but are ok. The wire to the camera could do with another metre or two, it sits on our wardrobe.
The unit itself has decent quality and barely any lag. The sound comes through clear, and you can two way talk to the baby through the unit. It also plays some melodies at the touch of a button.
Now the biggest issue – battery life of the unit is poor, lasts maybe an hour. You can start the ‘vox’ mode so it only wakes to a sound that saves the battery, or you can plug it in.
Update: I have experienced some issues with the camera about a month ago and they helped me fix it. A few days ago the camera completely turned off and wouldn’t work at all. I have contacted them and again and they sorted everything for me. Both times I have contacted them, they were quick to reply and always very helpful! Cannot fault them and I am very pleased with them and their product! Highly recommend!
Receive it today and so far I am pleased.. gives me some piece of mind when my little one is in her room sleeping. It is very easy to operate and has good image. In a couple of weeks if my opinion changes I will update my review, however so far we are happy with it.
Can be used outside in the garden whilst baby is inside having daytime naps. Reaches through an external concrete block wall 50m down the garden easily.
Stand alone wireless connection between camera and hand unit so no connection to home network / internet if that sort of thing bothers you.
Only feature i would like is a sound only option with no picture, which it doesn’t seem to have.
Received today and after buying and returning a Motorola and Bt monitor because of the terrible night vision I’m very pleased to say that this one is fantastic! I did my research and this came out top so I’m extremely happy that I can now actually see my child in a pitch black room! Only things I’m a bit disappointed with is that you can’t turn the camera from the parent unit. You can only position the camera manually so if child wakes up and gets out of bed you can’t see where in the room they are. Also the charging port is at the side of the unit. Would be better at the back because now I’ve had to arrange the wires so it doesn’t pull on the unit as my plug socket is on the right of where the unit is. Although I’m still happy with it so far 🙂
We’ve recently bought this monitor as the previous one we had was rubbish for picture quality. This is very clear day and night and the monitor in very easy to set up, plug in and go!
The lullaby’s are nice with the only issue that when you press the music button to stop them, it then switches to playing that song on repeat the next time you use it. You then just switch the camera and monitor off and on again which sets it back to looping through all the songs. It would be great if this was addressed as it’s such a great monitor.
I can’t really review the battery life of the monitor yet as only had it a few days. I would highly recommend this monitor especially for the price.
After looking for some time i decided to look up ‘loved by parents’ monitors to get the best one for my baby. This monitor was on the list so I thought I’d check it out. After some reading I decided this would be the one and I will tell you it is an amazing monitor and the best decision I made getting it!!, I use white noise for my baby and some how it make this not so noticeable for a background noise but very good volume the minute baby cries!!, I had the bt 5000 before this and after 21/2 years it finally packed in. Iv had this 2 weeks so far and I feel like this is better than the by 5000 ever was but I will say the only thing the bt done that this doesn’t is you can move the camera with the parent unit but it doesn’t bother me in the slightest everything is amazing such as volume l, day/night vision and super easy to set up!
I’ve given 4 stars which is a little generous but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that my monitor battery has a fault! The monitor itself is great; good picture quality and sound, easy to use and set up. Negatives would be the camera’s nightlight LED is quite bright so if you have a child that needs pitch black then you will need to tape over the light (not an issue as such just annoying that you can’t turn it off). Also the suction feet come off very easily and were hence lost within the first week, we bought sticky back velcro to attach the camera to the wall which works perfectly well. With regards to the battery, about 6 months in we noticed that the monitor stopped charging and so unless it is plugged in to the wall it becomes unusable. This is not ideal if you want to move around or you are not near an available socket.
I had an angelcare that was triple the price before i bought the Lullaby bay. It is hands down the best baby monitor I have used and even amongst the many that I have seen with friends! The picture quality is much superior to my older baby monitor, the sound quality is fabulous and the connectivity is great too. But by far the most incredible thing about the lullaby bay monitor is its company’s and owner’s commitment to quality and customer service. Any questions I had were answered promptly and when i ran into an issue with the charger, they very kindly replaced it for me, no questions asked. I would recommend this product without a doubt 100%. I am somebody who researches all product decisions, and this one is now at the top of my recommendation list to all my friends. Well done team Edith & George!
I was set at getting a video monitor. I looked at the leading brands and they are so much more expensive. I liked the fact this one has anti hack. Being a brand I hadn’t heard of, I spent a long time thinking about this product before purchasing. I’m pleased with the product and glad I didn’t get a different, more expensive one. This has been easy to use and accurately shows us our baby whilst he’s in his crib and we’re downstairs. It does the job as needed. The microphone is very sensitive. The only criticism I have is that it needs charging often. It’s not a problem now because we are just in the living room, but in the summer months it would limit being able to be in the garden. It would be better if the charger had a USB end, so that we could at least use a portable power bank. But at a third of the price of the leading brands its worth putting up with needing to charge it.
Absolutely FANTASTIC product…well worth the money guys, if you are thinking about buying one. I can monitor my baby at night in normal vision then as soon as it darkens I get excellent infrared vision of him. It’s brilliant, it plays songs, u can talk to the baby through it, it detects the sounds easily… like literally my baby turns over and it comes on the screen from standby (vox) mode. And the volume is brilliant aswell, I only need it on 2 to hear my son (waking up at 6am) talking to himself lol. Good battery life, I reckon if I was to say ANYTHING at all that’s a downer about it is the light is very bright when it’s plugged in to charge…that blue light is like a little torch lol, but I just turn it face down when i go to sleep cuz I won’t be able to watch my son anyway so I would only rely on sound, so that’s the only thing I’d say. And come on, that is nothing really is it lol, I’m not being funny either, I really am making a point that the product is that good that the ONLY thing that’s a slight bummer…is a little teeny charge light being bright. Haha. It’s good, defo worth buying.
This is a very useful product. We love how easy it is to use this and the quality of the images produced. The cables of both units are long so you won’t be restricted in terms of where to place them. The software for the time could be improved though as it tends to make the time really advanced after a while. We hope that there is an option to connect the unit to a smartphone. But I guess that would send the price of the unit up. Overall, we are really happy with our purchase.
First evening using the monitor. So far I’m very impressed. I did lots of reading of lots of different monitors, including big brands such as Motorola and BT, but decided to go with this after reading such good reviews. The night vision is excellent, can even see breathing which is reassuring. Baby hasn’t really made any noise to cause the monitor to light up yet, but worked well when testing it out. The temperature is displayed on the monitor, although compared to our Gro egg, it is not at the same temperature, but is not far off. The camera itself is very lightweight, which means when attached to the cable it seems to tip easily, but there are suckers included to stick it to the surface, and there are holes at the back to allow to mount it to the wall, which we will be doing when baby is through in own room.
I am a grandmother and recently decided I need to get my own monitor for when my toddler granddaughter comes to visit. I have seen several different kinds in action.. as my daughter has a couple of different ones. I decided I liked the features on this one and also the fact that it is made in the UK by a small company. I was not disappointed. It was so easy to set up and I have tested it by leaving my phone up there with an app running. The picture quality (infrared) is excellent… very clear.. and the sound is also crystal clear. I get to use it this weekend when she arrives. Feeling very confident. Thank you.
Very good baby monitor for the price excellent picture quality and motion sensor, I like the fact it has a vox setting and anti hack technology which gives me piece of mind and I love the fact I can see my baby breathing too and you can control the volume on the baby unit, we live in a bungalow with thick walls and the unit works well in all rooms including outside. There’s a few down sides when it comes to this product is the suction feet keep coming off so it kept falling over iv had to celotape it down for the time being as baby is still in our room, so when he moves to his room we will mount it to the wall, when on vox setting the battery runs low really fast I have yet to see how long it last with the vox setting off, you have to keep the camera constantly plugged in so you will have a wire hanging from the plug socket which is annoying as I will now have to move my babies cot to the other side of their bedroom just so I can plug it in as there’s only one plug socket in his room and the lullaby setting on the camera unit for us is too loud and you can’t turn this down but we play lullaby music through our phone or tablet in the bedroom so it’s not that big of an issue apart from that I am happy with this purchase you definitely get what you pay fo
I’ve been using this product for about 6 months now. It is very easy to set up, there is no pairing delay if you switch the unit or camera on and the video quality is very good. It’s not crystal clear but it’s perfectly adequate for checking on my child. The volume range is insane, I only have mine on the second bar but if you whacked it up to maximum I’m pretty sure you’d be able to hear your child breathe.
I can’t really comment on the additional features like the microphone or lullaby tunes as we don’t really use them but they are nice added extras. The only negative for me personally is the sucker feet really didn’t work very well and in the end I lost one anyway as they kept popping out. I wish there was the option to add a weight to the base of the camera to keep it in position as it’s so light, the cable often jerks it out of position. I assume the feet are there to prevent that from happening but I just didn’t get on with them.
It took me quite a while to find a baby monitor that I would be ready to order after reading reviews and figuring out the features that I would like. In the end, I decided to go with this one. I tested out all its functions when it arrived (the baby is not here yet) and everything seems to work as it should. Image quality is good, monitor has a good connection with the camera from other rooms, the menu is rather simple to navigate, nightvision and VOX work well. I haven’t tried out the battery life yet but I hope it will be as advertised. I look forward to put it in use!
After a lovely email from Edith and Geoege I though I would review this baby monitor to be fair we only recieved it today (day earlier then expected thanks amazon!)
I’m impressed with how light and “smooth” looking it is, tested the signal range and it didnt drop any bars from front bedroom down to the bottom of my garden, the lullabies are a good volume from the camera unit and after putting LO to bed awake he was asleep by the end of the 2nd one! There are 8 in total and you can control them being turned on and off from the parent unit, you can also turn the lullabies on and turn the volume down on the parent unit otherwise your sat listening to what your baby is.
Me and the other half tested it on the VOX sensor and the camera flicked on when OH only did a small waaa noise so I have every faith it will hear my baby and the screen will turn on but I’m leaving the screen on constantly tonight… I’ll test the VOX tomorrow!
I’m impressed with the infrared camera quality, I’m sat here looking at the screen now and it’s really good, the bedroom isn’t overly dark at the minute but it picked up it being dark enough to turn to night mode.
Nice and simple to navigate around the parent unit, easy to set time and date, automatically paired to camera so no messing about.
My only criticism are we’ve wall mounted it to look down into his cot (although it does come with suction feet to stick the camera on a flat surface like drawers or windows) but the camera has to always be plugged in so I’ve got a wire hanging down my wall.. there is also about an0.5 second delay with movements/sounds from the camera to the parent unit, also weve charged up the parent unit fully and it’s been unplugged for about 40mins and has dropped 1 bar of battery life (3 bars in total) I’m sure this is because we have the screen on constantly and the battery will last much longer when in the VOX setting but overall I’m really impressed and glad after doing my research that I picked this one 🙂

My daughter is nearly 11 months and only just last night slept in her own room because I had an inferior and unreliable monitor for months.
As soon as I got this I plugged it in and it just worked!
Easy to use and set up, good clear photo, tilts and swivels to help even with the most awkward of rooms/spaces.
I chose this over more expensive brands and I don’t regret it plus you get 18 months warranty which is a bonus.
I have full confidence in this monitor proven by the fact even this anxious mum slept well for the first night in a different room to baby.
A very good product don’t hesitate to buy this.
Incase you are wondering no you can’t zoom in or out which would be great but actually I didn’t need it I can see my baby just fine in her cot.
Battery life on parent unit is low (5/6 hours maybe) but plugged in its great no faults at all – there is a setting to save battery life by having unit only come on when there’s movement this works great and both camera and unit are silent.
We’ve only been using it a couple of nights but love it already.
We did have a one way audio monitor. This was fine until baby went into her own room. I couldn’t sleep properly thinking if she was ok. Monitor means I can have a quick look.
Really easy set up. No complicated settings. The anti hack feature was a real, added peace of mind bonus. Monitor works well in different rooms around the house.

Have had this camera for 15 months now and never had any issues until last week a couple of the buttons stopped working on the parent unit. However contacted the seller and as the product is under 18 month warranty I got a free replacement. Their customer service is top notch and my issue was dealt with very efficiently.
The camera image is clear for both day and night use, and setting it up was super easy. I don’t use the lullaby or mic options although they do work, they’re just not for me! Overall, I’d recommend this camera to any parent!
Fantastic! We’d compared so many of these video baby monitors and I was completely stuck, until we found this one! The reviews alone were enough to make our decision to purchase easy! The audio end to end is fantastic, no issues with lagging aslong as the signal strength is good, which ours is.
Easy to set up, literally just turn the camera and monitor on and they synced up to each other. For us, it was massively important that the camera didn’t run via WiFi as we don’t want to run the risk of the camera being hacked and this ticked all the right boxes for us! Although the baby isn’t here yet, we have tested all components of this system and I can not fault it whatsoever! An absolute must buy for any new parents!

I bought this camera in June but have only started using it now as my little boy is now happily in his own room. The camera arrived in good time and with excellent follow up customer service offering ongoing assistance and a start up guide to iron out any problems. The camera is easy to use and the picture quality is brilliant, even at night. The 2 way talk back is also handy and allows me to reassure my baby wherever I am in the house. This has allowed me to have freedom whilst creating a safe environment for my baby. The only small critism I would have is that the battery does not last long in the hand held unit, meaning you have to plug it in a lot. That said it seems a small price to pay for such an amazing camera, it offers everything you need for peace of mind. This is a must have for any new mum and the customer service is second to none. I highly recommend this baby monitor, so glad I chose this one.
We’ve used this monitor since my son was about two months old and I absolutely adore it. The picture and sound quality are excellent. It picks up on a lot of sound but the volume controls are really good so if it’s too loud, you can turn it down easily. It isn’t oversensitive. If I have the VOX option on to only have the picture appear when my son makes noise, it only ever does it when he makes enough noise to show he’s audibly awake. It picks up on any noise before he starts crying, which I appreciate. You can hear him babble away in the morning which allows me to greet him in a happy mood with his great big smile before he gets agitated. The screen unit is very portable. You can carry it into various rooms when carrying out tasks and I even take it outside when I’m putting the washing out. When fully charged, it lasts a long time without its charging cable attached.
It is easy to position the monitor on a flat surface or even attached to the wall. We have ours on a shelf and when my son slept in our room, it was on top of our wardrobe.
I love that you can see the temperature, which is useful for knowing when to turn to heating on and off and when to take off a layer of clothing (which I had to do in the summer). You can speak through the monitor using a microphone. This is useful for directing husbands in the dark when they can’t find a dummy :p. There’s also an option to play lullabies. Today I was working out during my son’s nap. He usually naps 45 mins to an hour so I thought I’d squeeze in a 40 min workout. When he woke up prematurely towards the end of my routine I turned on a lullaby to keep him entertained. Eventually, it actually sent him back to sleep so I’m now enjoying some adult time as he gets some extra kip.
I love this baby monitor. You don’t get any external sound interference from mobile phones or other people’s monitors and you can rest assured that it has anti-hacking technology to prevent weirdos from accessing it. I prefer it to having a WiFi connected monitor.
Great product for the price. I feel happier that it isnt linked to WIFI too – secure and also no worries if there are ever connection issues. Night vision picture great. Temperarure is similar to gro egg in room – neither ever match up…but only ever half a degree difference. Also arrived very quickly and good communucation from seller. Would highly recommend!
I bought this monitor after my previous very expensive one lasted less than 12 months! After searching all the highly rated branded monitors a friend showed me this, the night vision is amazing, just as good if not better than the day mode. The picture above is taken at night. If your looking for a video monitor then this is definitely the one to go for, and trust me I did my research. Can’t comment on battery life yet as it’s our first night of using it, but I gave it 4 stars as it has to be better than my previous one.
The one slight niggle is navigating through the sub menus, as you don’t use the buttons you would think, but once you figure that out its fine.

Clear picture, good sound quality. Compact camera and monitor unit, ideal for travelling. The monitor unit lasts for a few hours without being plugged in, battery life can be extended using the handy vox mode which shuts off the picture unless it is activated by the baby making a noise.
I needed a baby minder to keep an eye on my disabled wife as she now has to sleep downstairs. I checked all the reviews on baby minders and most seem to criticise the battery life and night vision of other products including those sold by well known vendors. . I liked what I read about Edith and George’s baby minder and went for that. I have not been disappointed. It is excellent. It does the job perfectly for my my needs. When my wife needs to get up in the night the slightest noise she makes puts on the picture in my room and I can see and hear her clearly. The battery life is not a problems if you leave the monitor connected to the mains, but even when it stands alone fully charged it will last for three nights . Best of all, very soon after it had been delivered I was phoned by George who said they were there to help me set it up or to answer any questions. If only after sales service was like that for everything. A definite buy.

I think the biggest plus point is, no internet/wifi connection being needed. Helps protect your household from unwanted cyber attacks. Easily portable, just plug it in & your ready to go. Highly recommend!
Really great product at a very reasonable price. the visual is well especially in the dark which in my opinion is better then some of the leading brands. The camera it self is sturdy and can be rotated at pretty much any angle to set up for viewing (we have the camera placed on a high side bed table and points down to view our baby) I would recommend this product. It does play some Lullaby’s which is handy if your baby likes that (ours does not yet). I suppose if there was one thing i could change would be that the mic levels could be increased talking into the monitor, though i can hear the baby if she starts crying and run to her to get her to sleep straight away. I would rate it 10/10 unit. Also the i received two emails from the buyer asking if i was happy. I have no doubt that if i had a problem they would resolve immediately for me so thank you, i am a happy customer.
Great little camera. Who needs these fancy wifi baby monitors? This does a perfect job on watching my baby without the hassle of wifi or apps. Has cute little lullabies and a microphone to talk to your baby (not that my child has any interest in hearing my voice). Battery life could be better as I have to charge it every other day. Other than that, cant complain.
EDIT: after using this every night for a few months the battery is now shocking! It charges all through the night and as soon as it is unplugged and turned on the battery has one bar, sometimes none and the batter dies. Now we have to have it plugged in all the time which can be an inconvenience.
Bought for use in baby’s nursery. Only used a couple of times so far and it seems really good. Easy to set up.
Had to contact customer services as one of the power units didn’t work and they were fabulous. Problem resolved immediately and lovely customer service to boot.
A few small niggles:
1.the sucker feet on the camera slip out of the camera base quite easily and don’t have huge amounts of sticking power anyway, so don’t rely on them.
2. I find it difficult to get into some of the submenu options – the unit doesn’t seem able to navigate to all of them – but maybe thats something I just have overlooked in my sleep deprived state! 🙂
3. We had the monitor on continuous for a couple of hours and the battery was running low which was disappointing but probably to be expected. There is a power saving option but our baby is still young so I’m not ready to use that yet – I want to see him all the time lol
This is the first review I’ve written but, as an avid reader of reviews, I felt compelled to write one about this great monitor and fantastic customer service received from Charlotte at Edith and George.
We were in the market for a new baby monitor after our other (very well known brand) monitor stopped working abruptly 2 days out of warranty…. hmm…! After A LOT of research and beginning to despair at the crowded market of baby monitors, none of which appear to have consistently good reviews, we decided to “take a chance” on the Lullaby Bay baby monitor and we are so pleased we did for the following reasons:
Pros:
Customer service is outstanding – emails are responded to within minutes and Charlotte posted out a replacement battery to us as soon as I contacted the company about the poor battery life we were experiencing. The battery was easy (albeit a little fiddly) to replace and solved the battery life issue straight away.
Battery life is now great – on full charge and with screen brightness and volume on medium (not using VOX mode) I think it lasted about 5-6 hours before we got a low battery warning.
Picture is clear – we only use it on night vision so can’t really comment on day picture.
Sound is good and the microphone “talk-to-baby” feature works well.
Slim, compact and lightweight design of both the camera and parent unit.
Range is fabulous – I have no idea how far it actually reaches but we get full signal in our garden the opposite side of the house to our baby’s room!
There is an easy on switch on both the camera and parent unit (we had to return a different make of baby monitor due to no on switch on the camera so I felt this was worth mentioning!!!!)
VOX mode is great if you want to use this.
Good length cable on both the camera and parent unit.
Camera doesn’t get overly hot like our previous monitor did.
Temperature seems accurate (maybe 1-1.5 degrees higher than our thermometer).
The time is really useful to have on the display (particularly when baby stirs in the night!)
Very easy to set up and operate.
There are a few cons which I would like to think the manufactures might consider addressing for subsequent models:
Cons:
A short tune is played on the parent unit and a soft “beep beep” is emitted from the camera every time they are switched on. We just make sure they’re both on before we settle our baby.
The tiny blue on light on the camera is suprisingly bright! We solved this by putting a piece of electrical tape over it.
The menu on the parent until could be easier to navigate through.
No zoom function (although picture is perfectly clear enough to see if baby’s eyes are open)!
No option to switch screen off but keep sound on. We simply turn the monitor face down at night.
Bottom line – would we buy this monitor again? Yes, absolutely. The cons are more slight inconveniences which can be worked around and the customer service is so wonderful that if you did have any issues you can be assured they would be resolved immediately.

I never write reviews on Amazon but I thought this monitor deserved one. I’m really happy with how it works and the picture and sound quality is excellent. I can easily hear whenever my baby stirs and can happily be out in my back or front garden and not have to worry about the signal going.
My only slight negative is that the battery life on the screen unit runs down fairly quickly if you’re out and about in the garden I do pop it back on charge whenever I’m done using it as I dread it completely running out.
The delivery of the monitor was extremely quick even over a bank holiday?! And the customer service you receive is fantastic.
I would definitely buy this unit again and would recommend it to friends/family if they ever needed one for there child.
Just wish the battery was better on the handheld unit.
I purchased this product after being put off by the amount of bad reviews of some of the more established brands both on Amazon and from friends / family. Both the camera and monitor unit are small and sleek, and the battery life of the video unit is pretty decent. It’s also good value compared to the other monitors which we were considering.
There are a few things that could be improved:
– the little sucker feet to attach the camera don’t really work that well, so I ended up having to buy a holder from another seller which attached to the cot itself
– the video unit makes a rather loud and annoying noise when you turn it on
– it’s really easy to accidentally press the lullaby button (which we never use), and could inadvertently wake a sleeping baby
The Lullaby Bay baby monitor is a piece of amazing technology. VERY impressed. Nice size screen with clear night vision, anti hack, relaxing lullaby’s played. Good to know what temperature the room is too. This product is fantastic it allows parents to relax while carrying on doing other thing. You don’t have to keep going up and down the stairs every five minutes. The buyers were brilliant, they want to know if you are happy or have any troublshooters which they would sort immediately. This is the only monitor I’ve bought so I have nothing to compare it to but I think this is good. I’m not a huge fan of the music, and the picture quality is generally good although I find it easier to see in night vision if I have the monitor slightly tilted to one side. The sound and signal are good although I find it can cut out intermittently but only for half a second. I only realised this when I was playing the music. I like that it has a microphone function so I can speak to baby and reassure her when she wakes up. The battery is really good and will last for 2 of her naps before it needs to be plugged it. On the whole I like the monitor and would recommend it.
We decided on this unit after a fair amount of research and good reviews and we weren’t disappointed. We have a lot of silver backed insulation in our house following some renovation and this definitely affected our WiFi which I solved by adding more access points but I was concerned that this unit may destroy the work we did on our WiFi but I needn’t have worried it simply has no effect on the Wifi at all and it penetrates the silver backed insulation as well. The IR picture is very clear and the microphone picks up any crying easily. The temperature monitor is accurate as well. We have found that the battery life in the parents’ monitor unit is very good as well.. Finally, we cleverly managed to drop the monitor into a sink of water and destroyed it. On connecting the distributors they were more than helpful and for a very reasonable cost sent me a new monitor within 48 hrs. A second to none service from them and very nice they were too. What more can I say? I would recommend them highly and would have probably paid quite a lot more for such a high-quality uni

Honestly, this monitor has been amazing so far. As a single parent it has given me the ability to get my daughter to sleep and comfortably leave her whilst I go shower, prepare food/bottles, tidy etc.
The picture quality for both night and day is perfect. I love that I am able to check on her with a click of a button instead of running up and down the stairs. If she wakes and makes noise the screen instantly lights up.
The music function is really sweet, it’s nice to have some songs on there that aren’t just nursery rhymes.
I spent so long reading reviews before I purchased a monitor and I am so glad I decided to go with this one. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a monitor

I just wanted to add an update about the customer service of this company. It is far beyond anything you would expect from a company. I recently had an issue with the battery of my monitor, I contacted the company about it and wasn’t really expecting much because I bought this item 16months ago and if I’m honest I had prepared myself to buy the same monitor again. But because they offer an 18month warranty they have helped me fix the issue and guide me through everything. Such a refreshing friendly experience
Product bought initially to allow my daughter to monitor her sick Mum overnight, but will revert to a baby monitor when baby arrives in April. Easy to set up, the connection is secure and both sound and picture quality is good, including infra red mode. Like a walky-talky you have to keep the PTT button pressed whilst speaking into the parent unit, but keep it pressed for a few seconds afterwards, to ensure the message is not cut short. Similarly, the recipent needs to dwell a few seconds before replying. This need for delay is annoying and takes getting used to but it is the only downside I can find and is not applicable when used as a baby miniotor when two way conversation does not apply. That aside it is an excellent piece of kit to monitor Mum and provides reassurance that she is OK without having to stay with her 24/7. Would recommend to anyone.
Coming off 2 more expensive Motorola equivalents, the Lullaby seems an improvement! Motorola 1’s night vision died after a year and the flimsy wire of the power supply also died. Motorola 2’s motorised camera never worked properly out of the box (but wasn’t a deal-killer for my use). This item doesn’t have a motorised camera but at two thirds or less of the Motorola price, it is still great value.
I like:
1) It’s slimmer and lighter than the Motorola.
2) The screen size is still about the same.
3) The image quality is better than Motorola.
4) The night vision works well and covers the full screen, not falling off at the edges like Motorola.
5) The VOX mode (switches on automatically when sound detected) is a neat feature and works well.
6) The wires on the power supply units seem thicker / better quality than the Motorola.
7) The volume is fine for my needs
8) The range was impressive, though I didn’t compare it against the Motorola.
9) No stick-up aerial on parent unit.
10) The customer support from Edith and George is outstanding. I emailed a query (on a Saturday) and received not one, but two replies (from two different Edit and George people) the same day which were exceptionally friendly, comprehensive and helpful.
I didn’t like:
1) The camera unit is very light and is easy to disturb (e.g. when switching on). A couple of suction caps are supplied which you can fit on the bottom but I didn’t find them particularly effective, even on an old shiny granite worktop sample I found. I’ll probably make do with some Blu-tak.
2) The silly tune that plays when the parent unit is switched on. Duh?
So, overall, this is a great baby monitor from a seller which would appear to offer exceptional customer service – highly recommended.
Previously we have used motorola video monitors, bought one in 2015, loved it, bought a second one, same model, for second child 2 years later and it was terrible, picture quality, battery life and everything was awful, we even returned it initially as we thought it was faulty as the picture was so bad but no that was just the monitor. So now the night vision doesn’t work on this second motorola video monitor, so we thought we’d try another brand.
There are so many video monitors to choose from at a wide range of prices so I settled on this one in the end due to the product spec and good the reviews.
PROS –
* Simple to use and set up (you literally just turn it on)
* Really good picture quality, especially in night vision
* Good battery life- I did one full charge overnight when I first got it and then it lasted a whole night and two long naps before it went down to one bar of battery and I charged it, so it still would have lasted longer.
* Vox mode – screen only comes on when theres movement/sound – I just have it face down overnight and unless there is lots of noise the screen lighting up don’t disturb us.
CONS – (nothing significant)
* You can’t move the camera remotely but not a big problem (was just used to this feature from previous monitor)
* When you turn the screen on it plays a little jingle which isn’t necessary, which as another review stated, I’m an adult, I know when I’ve turned it on, also the jingle’s really loud.
*Bit fiddly to try and secure the camera up on the wall in baby bedroom.
I never leave feedback on Amazon, but am making the exception this time as I’m over the moon with my monitor! After looking at monitors of all the “big brands”, I decided to go for a Lullaby Bay monitor. A big plus point was the anti-hacking encryption, which is a big concern of mine and something I haven’t seen with other monitors. The screen is really big and clear, displays in colour, and has lots of great features – lullabies, two-way talk, room temperature sensor, and lots more. The customer service was fantastic, a major plus point for opting to buy from small businesses. The monitor arrived 2 days after purchase, and a day early! It also works perfectly alongside my motion sensor pad, something I wasn’t sure would work due to two different frequencies. I cannot recommend this monitor enough, and will definitely be looking to buy from small businesses before well-known ones in the future. Thank you so much!
I ordered this because our house is currently undergoing a lot of renovation, and with a small number of rooms available our living room/bedroom is quite some distance from our young son’s room. He’s three now, so he doesn’t need too close an eye keeping on him, but because we’re often out of earshot we thought we’d get a monitor for peace of mind.
Anyway, this thing does the job a treat. The image quality is good, the infrared function handy and the whole thing gives the impression of being very well-constructed and robust. His favourite (!) feature is the two way talk, which, he’s found out, allows him to discuss his breakfast order with us from the comfort of his bed first thing in the morning
All in all a good product and a good buying experience. I’ve had no need to contact the seller for customer service, but the pre-emptive email thanking me for my custom and offering any help that might be needed was welcome. Strong recommend.
The baby monitor was a gift. I was a bit skeptical to buy such a device from abroad and not from a local store to have quicker support but the good reviews here in Amazon helped me decide in favor.
And it was a good decision so far. Since the purchase day I was contacted immediately by the seller to thank me, express their support if something happens in the future and even sent me a quick Q&A guide.
The device arrived promptly, it is of good quality and the parents are delighted with the gift.
The quality of picture is fantastic, I witnessed it myself, the audio also very good and the lullaby function an added bonus. The important think is that the device doesn’t connect to wifi so it’s more difficult to hack.
Overall satisfied and already advertise it to friends and new parents.
Arrived very quickly from seller, so simple to use, just plug in and go. Sound quality is great, almost too good, we have to turn the volume down on the monitor or we hear doors closing upstairs! I’m no expert on monitors but the battery life on the screen seems good, we just plug it in after every use and it’s never died. And the picture is great, we can clearly see the baby moving and can see it’s eyes open/closed. All round it does everything we want it to and was very reasonable!
Very good product. Clear picture and good sound. Can reach a good distance and love that it isnt wifi dependent so hacking is much harder. Only cons are 1) the parent monitor plays a stupid tune when it is turned on so you cant turn it on anywhere near the sleeping baby. 2) the camera has a night vision light on it which is v useful to see, however, it does shine q brightly on baby. She can sleep through it but doesnt move as much when i take it off her when I go to bed so it may be disturbing her a little. Other than that a great wee monito

My reason for wanting a monitor, is not for a baby at all, quite the opposite in fact.
My need was to keep a close eye on my dear wife who suffers from Dementia,and it does this admirably. It has helped enormously in this respect, giving me great peace of mind.
It prompted me in fact to mention to the suppliers, why don’ t they go one step further and build in a movement sensor and open up a whole new market available to other carers looking after patient such as my wife. I’m sure it could be a winner!
Final note: Although there was a small problem initially with the charging cable, this was dealt with immediately,a replacement the very next morning, no fuss, no questions asked, what more could one ask.
Really good bought as a present for a family member and they really like this. It was also nice that after purchasing it they sent a letter through with the instructions and there was a Thankyou card included. Nice human touch
Great picture quality. The Mic is super powerful. But most of all the customer service is second to none. I couldn’t get the sound to work so emailed the company. It was completely my own stupidity, I had the volume turned down. I was in very bad form with a new preemie baby in the NICU, no sleep and panicking to get the house ready for her so i probably came across a little rude. But the response I got was so warm that it really helped pull me out of my mood. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, very promptly may I add, to a very stressed out mama.
We looked at lots of baby monitors and it’s quite confusing to work out which is best.
In the end we chose this one as not only does it have all the features we want but also it’s the only one that mentioned it was “anti-hack” and we recently read some unpleasant news stories about baby monitors being hacked into, so that gave us peace of mind.

My only issue with this is the really bright blue ‘charging’ light on the monitor. It’s so bright it lights the room at night, so I have had to put a sticker over it!

We’ve only had a few days but so far really like this camera. We had the previous generation from the same brand and needed a new one after 3 years of constant use, and this is just as good if not better and nicer in design. Very easy to set up and most importantly for us is not on WiFi so safe and also helps with set up as it’s just a case of plug in an go and so will be really easy to take with us when going on holiday or visiting family. Night vision and sound is very good too

This is a great budget option with reasonable range and picture quality but the battery life isn’t incredible. The start up melody of the screen can’t be turned off and may be a little loud for some but not an issue for us.

Love this. Spent a fortune on an angel care 200 for my first born . This is just as good in fact better as my baby loves the music option at nap time. Picture great sounds great movement great what a fab product for the price .battery life better than my angel care one . buy this one !

We bought a cubo ai first of all as we wanted something that did it all, but it didn’t meet our expectations. So we did some research and ended up purchasing something more simple. It’s fab, and does the job perfectly. The only thing I’d say is that the colour of grey looks more brown on screen. Other than that, I’d recommend especially as it’s not Wifi so won’t be hacked

It is so important that if something goes wrong, a problem can be readily resolved. In this case I would have no hesitation in commending the approach of this business.
My wife and I bought this baby monitor in November 2021 in preparation for the birth of our grandaughter in January 2022. The baby monitor proved reliable and effective until just over a week ago.
Our son and his wife had taken their daughter to stay in France – but the conditions were extremely hot – the upper 30s and even low 40s almost every day of their 12 day stay. The camera module stopped powering up – and despite trying alternative charging leads, it continued to fail throughout their holiday.
Our son contacted me and I contacted the supplier – “Edith & George” – and was reassured that the matter would be readily resolved. In fact it was arranged that the full product would be returned as soon as possible and a replacement sent.
On reaching home, our son plugged in the camera module and it began working again. He has put the issue down to the intense heat which may have caused issues with charging the rechargeable battery in the module.
At least now we know that if the product does fail during the warranty period, the matter will be dealt with quickly by this excellent supplier.
I purchased these for my 2 granddaughters after reading the other reviews, I have to agree with all the positive reviews there really good, I love that they are anti hacking as this was important as-well, the clarity on the monitor is fab and love the 2 way volume, would definitely recommend, also fast delivery received next day even thou it said up to 5 days for delivery
The camera works brilliant and sound is clear for as soon as our baby makes a noise, however the battery life on the parent unit doesn’t last very long and therefore requires to be constantly plugged into the wall to ideally maintain power. Other than that, fairly good value for money.
My only issue with it is that the baby unit has to be plugged at all time so I am not fully comfortable with having the wire hanging and also the parent unit battery life is not great but it lasts long enough for baby’s nap time but then is better to put to charge before next nap and definitely stays plugged overnight. It will be better when baby is older I won’t nap for as long

It’s not too strong a statement to say this has changed my life. My husband has dementia and can be very noisy. Now instead of running into a room incase he’s had an accident, I check the monitor. Same at night, instead of getting up, I can open one eye, see he’s asleep and go back to sleep.
This is a well-equipped, easy to use product, that I have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Bought this monitor over a year ago and it is great. Does the job, screen is good size, can hear and see everything baby is doing. Great quality and well priced. Haven’t had an issue until this week when the monitor stopped working (not a fault with the product but more so likely a good bash from a toddler!) I contacted customer service and they immediately replied offering help with replacement parent unit at a discount if it had been accidentally damaged or checking to see if it was faulty as still under warranty. Chris really went above and beyond for me. As it turns out the monitor screen is now working again so no need to replace. But if you have any issues, which I’m sure you won’t as I haven’t in over a year until my toddler got hold of it, rest assured they will be on hand to assist.
The product has been great throughout, i have had it since October 2020 and used it every day since December 2020. Great features and night vision to watch our baby, i recently contacted the seller with regards to some support questions which was also resolved very quickly and professionally cannot recommend this product and seller enough.
Good monitor. The music option is nice but after using once it plays the same song over and over again. Would have liked to use this option more but can’t. Good picture quality, battery life not very good but using the Vox setting makes it last a bit longer.
The camera is a really good quality. We have attached it to our wall so we can see directly down into the cot and have perfect vision of our toddler. We thought the value for money was so good we bought a second when our second baby was born. Unfortunately both our chargers ended up faulty. But thankfully, after getting in contact with the company directly (not through Amazon) they have sent us 2 replacement chargers which is much appreciated.

Very happy with this purchase! Been using it for a few months now. Night vision and sound is lovely and clear. It comes with suckers on the bottom which help keep it secure, they do come loose easily if you need to move camera location but it’s simple enough to reattach. Really glad I chose this camera, I can tell who ever made it put a lot of thought in it.
We have been using this monitor every day for over 7 months and the quality hasn’t decreased. Good camera, works great during day and night. Not UHD but does the job very well. It’s very light so we stuck it to the wall using a single Command strip. The monitor has good battery life, it lasts 2 to 3 days, depending on usage. Charges within couple of hours. Camera gets activated by noise and it’s very sensitive (sensitivity can be adjusted). The temperature indicator is very handy. Not movement activated. Initially we had a problem with the camera (our fault in not positioning the camera correctly) but the customer service helped with the issue in no time. Will definitely be using this camera for our second baby.

This is the best monitor I’ve had in the past four years and I wish I’d bought this one first! We’ve had several other brands within the same price bracket and all of them have had issues. So I’m I sent back due to poor picture quality but we’ve had to Motorola’s that had quite a bit of static and in the end both broke as the power button on the monitors stopped working.,
This has a “slide” power switch so it won’t fail like those did. It also has a much better picture quality and hardly any noise/static at all!

Great until you turn on the lullaby music, to loud to be soothing so no point in ever turning it on to use no option to turn down either, battery does not last overly long either, baby goes up at 7 30 and is pretty much dead by 9 and the monitor for the bedroom needs charging , the picture quality is good and so is the night vision, I would recommend
Pic quality is decent night vision is great. Connection is fine given you don’t need WiFi which is great if you wanna take it somewhere. Sound lags a little but no concerns. Love the vox setting. Screen is a little small but does the trick. The suction caps could do with being bigger.
I like that this is made by a UK company. The instructions are clear and I’m sure they would help if they got in touch.
Everything works simply and is easy to understand. The features are perfect (everything that is needed, without being overly complicated). Camera, voice, doesn’t need Wi-Fi, has motion detection and temperature monitor.
I would have paid a little bit more for a camera/screen combo that is slightly higher quality (although exactly the same in every other way), but the current price/quality trade-off is still excellent.
Last night my baby sneezed out her pacifier while asleep, I was able to rush and soothe her before she fully woke up. Result!
I don’t normally write reviews as I’m too lazy, but I will on this device. Purchased through Amazon and have now been using for several weeks. Really surprised by how good this is – it’s not the most expensive bit of kit lets be honest. Small and light monitor unit which is easy to carry around, and has a retractable stand. Signal strength is really good, as is battery life. VOX mode is very useful, especially at night as the picture only comes on where there is motion/noise. Camera is small and light, which makes mounting easy. Camera being able to play lullabies is a god send frankly. One slight bug bear is that you can’t choose the lullaby, it just cycles through random ones and sometimes seems to get stuck playing one – which is mildly annoying – but otherwise I could not be happier with this.
I was going to buy the more expensive model but as we only need it occasionally when one of the grandchildren stays we felt it was too expensive. This one does the trick for a lower price. It would be lovely to have a bigger screen etc but this is great and perfect for our needs and I find the temperature gauge a great help. Tx
Great video quality in both standard camera and night vision, great sound quality. Range covers that which I need it to (two storeys). A lovely simple to use monitor.
If any complaint, it’s that in VOX mode once the monitor has been activated it only displays video/audio for ~10 seconds before turning off again. It could lead you to believe baby has self soothed and settled again when they are in fact still crying. Not sure if there’s a setting that would help remedy this.
I bought this originally back in 2019 after I had a faulty monitor which was another brand. This turned out to be a fantastic buy. It works really well , night vision and sound both great. Then unfortunately the parent unit got broken, this was not due to a manufacturing fault so when I found I was expecting my next back it was and obvious a choice to see if I could replace just the part that was broken. I got in touch with the sellers and I cannot tell you how helpful they were. The product was initially out of stock but they quickly emailed me with a link to purchase once it was back in stock. The company have been bound helpful in helping me get this sorted quickly and in time for the arrival of my baby. Thanks to Chris and the team I can highly recommend you and the product.
Overall, a good monitor. Picture quality is good and the night vision is good, sometimes let down by a small bit of lag from real time to video. This lag would not let down the overall review but it is noticeable from time time. The biggest downside to this monitor is the battery life, at most you might get three hours and that is pushing it. I suppose the idea behind it was to bring it with you while you were making tea running a house errand, otherwise it would be need to be charged frequently.

We have had this now for two years, certainly one of the most used items we bought, have used this every day for the last two years. The battery lasts about 5-6hours before it needs to be plugged in.
The night mode is good but for the higher price I have seen others with clearer pics but it’s not caused issues for us.
Recently the sound has stopped working (twice so far) and have had to turn it off via the camera and on again to reconnect it. Hoping not the device starting to fail.
The one thing I wish it had was the option to puck the song instead of having to go through all the songs as he only liked one track.

This baby monitor is a lovely buy if you dont want to spend hundreds. The camera is held on to a surface with two small suction feet – they come off occasionally but are ok. The wire to the camera could do with another metre or two, it sits on our wardrobe.
The unit itself has decent quality and barely any lag. The sound comes through clear, and you can two way talk to the baby through the unit. It also plays some melodies at the touch of a button.
Now the biggest issue – battery life of the unit is poor, lasts maybe an hour. You can start the ‘vox’ mode so it only wakes to a sound that saves the battery, or you can plug it in.
All in all a positive buy.
Update: I have experienced some issues with the camera about a month ago and they helped me fix it. A few days ago the camera completely turned off and wouldn’t work at all. I have contacted them and again and they sorted everything for me. Both times I have contacted them, they were quick to reply and always very helpful! Cannot fault them and I am very pleased with them and their product! Highly recommend!
Receive it today and so far I am pleased.. gives me some piece of mind when my little one is in her room sleeping. It is very easy to operate and has good image. In a couple of weeks if my opinion changes I will update my review, however so far we are happy with it.

Range and picture quality is very impressive.
Can be used outside in the garden whilst baby is inside having daytime naps. Reaches through an external concrete block wall 50m down the garden easily.
Stand alone wireless connection between camera and hand unit so no connection to home network / internet if that sort of thing bothers you.
Only feature i would like is a sound only option with no picture, which it doesn’t seem to have.
Hopefully it lasts.

Received today and after buying and returning a Motorola and Bt monitor because of the terrible night vision I’m very pleased to say that this one is fantastic! I did my research and this came out top so I’m extremely happy that I can now actually see my child in a pitch black room! Only things I’m a bit disappointed with is that you can’t turn the camera from the parent unit. You can only position the camera manually so if child wakes up and gets out of bed you can’t see where in the room they are. Also the charging port is at the side of the unit. Would be better at the back because now I’ve had to arrange the wires so it doesn’t pull on the unit as my plug socket is on the right of where the unit is. Although I’m still happy with it so far 🙂
We’ve recently bought this monitor as the previous one we had was rubbish for picture quality. This is very clear day and night and the monitor in very easy to set up, plug in and go!
The lullaby’s are nice with the only issue that when you press the music button to stop them, it then switches to playing that song on repeat the next time you use it. You then just switch the camera and monitor off and on again which sets it back to looping through all the songs. It would be great if this was addressed as it’s such a great monitor.
I can’t really review the battery life of the monitor yet as only had it a few days. I would highly recommend this monitor especially for the price.
After looking for some time i decided to look up ‘loved by parents’ monitors to get the best one for my baby. This monitor was on the list so I thought I’d check it out. After some reading I decided this would be the one and I will tell you it is an amazing monitor and the best decision I made getting it!!, I use white noise for my baby and some how it make this not so noticeable for a background noise but very good volume the minute baby cries!!, I had the bt 5000 before this and after 21/2 years it finally packed in. Iv had this 2 weeks so far and I feel like this is better than the by 5000 ever was but I will say the only thing the bt done that this doesn’t is you can move the camera with the parent unit but it doesn’t bother me in the slightest everything is amazing such as volume l, day/night vision and super easy to set up!

I’ve given 4 stars which is a little generous but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that my monitor battery has a fault! The monitor itself is great; good picture quality and sound, easy to use and set up. Negatives would be the camera’s nightlight LED is quite bright so if you have a child that needs pitch black then you will need to tape over the light (not an issue as such just annoying that you can’t turn it off). Also the suction feet come off very easily and were hence lost within the first week, we bought sticky back velcro to attach the camera to the wall which works perfectly well. With regards to the battery, about 6 months in we noticed that the monitor stopped charging and so unless it is plugged in to the wall it becomes unusable. This is not ideal if you want to move around or you are not near an available socket.
I had an angelcare that was triple the price before i bought the Lullaby bay. It is hands down the best baby monitor I have used and even amongst the many that I have seen with friends! The picture quality is much superior to my older baby monitor, the sound quality is fabulous and the connectivity is great too. But by far the most incredible thing about the lullaby bay monitor is its company’s and owner’s commitment to quality and customer service. Any questions I had were answered promptly and when i ran into an issue with the charger, they very kindly replaced it for me, no questions asked. I would recommend this product without a doubt 100%. I am somebody who researches all product decisions, and this one is now at the top of my recommendation list to all my friends. Well done team Edith & George!
I was set at getting a video monitor. I looked at the leading brands and they are so much more expensive. I liked the fact this one has anti hack. Being a brand I hadn’t heard of, I spent a long time thinking about this product before purchasing. I’m pleased with the product and glad I didn’t get a different, more expensive one. This has been easy to use and accurately shows us our baby whilst he’s in his crib and we’re downstairs. It does the job as needed. The microphone is very sensitive. The only criticism I have is that it needs charging often. It’s not a problem now because we are just in the living room, but in the summer months it would limit being able to be in the garden. It would be better if the charger had a USB end, so that we could at least use a portable power bank. But at a third of the price of the leading brands its worth putting up with needing to charge it.
This is a very useful product. We love how easy it is to use this and the quality of the images produced. The cables of both units are long so you won’t be restricted in terms of where to place them. The software for the time could be improved though as it tends to make the time really advanced after a while. We hope that there is an option to connect the unit to a smartphone. But I guess that would send the price of the unit up. Overall, we are really happy with our purchase.
First evening using the monitor. So far I’m very impressed. I did lots of reading of lots of different monitors, including big brands such as Motorola and BT, but decided to go with this after reading such good reviews. The night vision is excellent, can even see breathing which is reassuring. Baby hasn’t really made any noise to cause the monitor to light up yet, but worked well when testing it out. The temperature is displayed on the monitor, although compared to our Gro egg, it is not at the same temperature, but is not far off. The camera itself is very lightweight, which means when attached to the cable it seems to tip easily, but there are suckers included to stick it to the surface, and there are holes at the back to allow to mount it to the wall, which we will be doing when baby is through in own room.
I am a grandmother and recently decided I need to get my own monitor for when my toddler granddaughter comes to visit. I have seen several different kinds in action.. as my daughter has a couple of different ones. I decided I liked the features on this one and also the fact that it is made in the UK by a small company. I was not disappointed. It was so easy to set up and I have tested it by leaving my phone up there with an app running. The picture quality (infrared) is excellent… very clear.. and the sound is also crystal clear. I get to use it this weekend when she arrives. Feeling very confident. Thank you.
Very good baby monitor for the price excellent picture quality and motion sensor, I like the fact it has a vox setting and anti hack technology which gives me piece of mind and I love the fact I can see my baby breathing too and you can control the volume on the baby unit, we live in a bungalow with thick walls and the unit works well in all rooms including outside. There’s a few down sides when it comes to this product is the suction feet keep coming off so it kept falling over iv had to celotape it down for the time being as baby is still in our room, so when he moves to his room we will mount it to the wall, when on vox setting the battery runs low really fast I have yet to see how long it last with the vox setting off, you have to keep the camera constantly plugged in so you will have a wire hanging from the plug socket which is annoying as I will now have to move my babies cot to the other side of their bedroom just so I can plug it in as there’s only one plug socket in his room and the lullaby setting on the camera unit for us is too loud and you can’t turn this down but we play lullaby music through our phone or tablet in the bedroom so it’s not that big of an issue apart from that I am happy with this purchase you definitely get what you pay fo
I’ve been using this product for about 6 months now. It is very easy to set up, there is no pairing delay if you switch the unit or camera on and the video quality is very good. It’s not crystal clear but it’s perfectly adequate for checking on my child. The volume range is insane, I only have mine on the second bar but if you whacked it up to maximum I’m pretty sure you’d be able to hear your child breathe.
I can’t really comment on the additional features like the microphone or lullaby tunes as we don’t really use them but they are nice added extras. The only negative for me personally is the sucker feet really didn’t work very well and in the end I lost one anyway as they kept popping out. I wish there was the option to add a weight to the base of the camera to keep it in position as it’s so light, the cable often jerks it out of position. I assume the feet are there to prevent that from happening but I just didn’t get on with them.
All in all, very happy!
It took me quite a while to find a baby monitor that I would be ready to order after reading reviews and figuring out the features that I would like. In the end, I decided to go with this one. I tested out all its functions when it arrived (the baby is not here yet) and everything seems to work as it should. Image quality is good, monitor has a good connection with the camera from other rooms, the menu is rather simple to navigate, nightvision and VOX work well. I haven’t tried out the battery life yet but I hope it will be as advertised. I look forward to put it in use!
I’m impressed with how light and “smooth” looking it is, tested the signal range and it didnt drop any bars from front bedroom down to the bottom of my garden, the lullabies are a good volume from the camera unit and after putting LO to bed awake he was asleep by the end of the 2nd one! There are 8 in total and you can control them being turned on and off from the parent unit, you can also turn the lullabies on and turn the volume down on the parent unit otherwise your sat listening to what your baby is.
Me and the other half tested it on the VOX sensor and the camera flicked on when OH only did a small waaa noise so I have every faith it will hear my baby and the screen will turn on but I’m leaving the screen on constantly tonight… I’ll test the VOX tomorrow!
I’m impressed with the infrared camera quality, I’m sat here looking at the screen now and it’s really good, the bedroom isn’t overly dark at the minute but it picked up it being dark enough to turn to night mode.
Nice and simple to navigate around the parent unit, easy to set time and date, automatically paired to camera so no messing about.
My only criticism are we’ve wall mounted it to look down into his cot (although it does come with suction feet to stick the camera on a flat surface like drawers or windows) but the camera has to always be plugged in so I’ve got a wire hanging down my wall.. there is also about an0.5 second delay with movements/sounds from the camera to the parent unit, also weve charged up the parent unit fully and it’s been unplugged for about 40mins and has dropped 1 bar of battery life (3 bars in total) I’m sure this is because we have the screen on constantly and the battery will last much longer when in the VOX setting but overall I’m really impressed and glad after doing my research that I picked this one 🙂
My daughter is nearly 11 months and only just last night slept in her own room because I had an inferior and unreliable monitor for months.

Incase you are wondering no you can’t zoom in or out which would be great but actually I didn’t need it I can see my baby just fine in her cot.
Battery life on parent unit is low (5/6 hours maybe) but plugged in its great no faults at all – there is a setting to save battery life by having unit only come on when there’s movement this works great and both camera and unit are silent.

We did have a one way audio monitor. This was fine until baby went into her own room. I couldn’t sleep properly thinking if she was ok. Monitor means I can have a quick look.
Really easy set up. No complicated settings. The anti hack feature was a real, added peace of mind bonus. Monitor works well in different rooms around the house.

The camera image is clear for both day and night use, and setting it up was super easy. I don’t use the lullaby or mic options although they do work, they’re just not for me! Overall, I’d recommend this camera to any parent!
Fantastic! We’d compared so many of these video baby monitors and I was completely stuck, until we found this one! The reviews alone were enough to make our decision to purchase easy! The audio end to end is fantastic, no issues with lagging aslong as the signal strength is good, which ours is.
Easy to set up, literally just turn the camera and monitor on and they synced up to each other. For us, it was massively important that the camera didn’t run via WiFi as we don’t want to run the risk of the camera being hacked and this ticked all the right boxes for us! Although the baby isn’t here yet, we have tested all components of this system and I can not fault it whatsoever! An absolute must buy for any new parents!
I bought this camera in June but have only started using it now as my little boy is now happily in his own room. The camera arrived in good time and with excellent follow up customer service offering ongoing assistance and a start up guide to iron out any problems. The camera is easy to use and the picture quality is brilliant, even at night. The 2 way talk back is also handy and allows me to reassure my baby wherever I am in the house. This has allowed me to have freedom whilst creating a safe environment for my baby. The only small critism I would have is that the battery does not last long in the hand held unit, meaning you have to plug it in a lot. That said it seems a small price to pay for such an amazing camera, it offers everything you need for peace of mind. This is a must have for any new mum and the customer service is second to none. I highly recommend this baby monitor, so glad I chose this one.
It is easy to position the monitor on a flat surface or even attached to the wall. We have ours on a shelf and when my son slept in our room, it was on top of our wardrobe.
I love that you can see the temperature, which is useful for knowing when to turn to heating on and off and when to take off a layer of clothing (which I had to do in the summer). You can speak through the monitor using a microphone. This is useful for directing husbands in the dark when they can’t find a dummy :p. There’s also an option to play lullabies. Today I was working out during my son’s nap. He usually naps 45 mins to an hour so I thought I’d squeeze in a 40 min workout. When he woke up prematurely towards the end of my routine I turned on a lullaby to keep him entertained. Eventually, it actually sent him back to sleep so I’m now enjoying some adult time as he gets some extra kip.
I love this baby monitor. You don’t get any external sound interference from mobile phones or other people’s monitors and you can rest assured that it has anti-hacking technology to prevent weirdos from accessing it. I prefer it to having a WiFi connected monitor.

I bought this monitor after my previous very expensive one lasted less than 12 months! After searching all the highly rated branded monitors a friend showed me this, the night vision is amazing, just as good if not better than the day mode. The picture above is taken at night. If your looking for a video monitor then this is definitely the one to go for, and trust me I did my research. Can’t comment on battery life yet as it’s our first night of using it, but I gave it 4 stars as it has to be better than my previous one.
The one slight niggle is navigating through the sub menus, as you don’t use the buttons you would think, but once you figure that out its fine.

Clear picture, good sound quality. Compact camera and monitor unit, ideal for travelling. The monitor unit lasts for a few hours without being plugged in, battery life can be extended using the handy vox mode which shuts off the picture unless it is activated by the baby making a noise.
I needed a baby minder to keep an eye on my disabled wife as she now has to sleep downstairs. I checked all the reviews on baby minders and most seem to criticise the battery life and night vision of other products including those sold by well known vendors. . I liked what I read about Edith and George’s baby minder and went for that. I have not been disappointed. It is excellent. It does the job perfectly for my my needs. When my wife needs to get up in the night the slightest noise she makes puts on the picture in my room and I can see and hear her clearly. The battery life is not a problems if you leave the monitor connected to the mains, but even when it stands alone fully charged it will last for three nights . Best of all, very soon after it had been delivered I was phoned by George who said they were there to help me set it up or to answer any questions. If only after sales service was like that for everything. A definite buy.

Really great product at a very reasonable price. the visual is well especially in the dark which in my opinion is better then some of the leading brands. The camera it self is sturdy and can be rotated at pretty much any angle to set up for viewing (we have the camera placed on a high side bed table and points down to view our baby) I would recommend this product. It does play some Lullaby’s which is handy if your baby likes that (ours does not yet). I suppose if there was one thing i could change would be that the mic levels could be increased talking into the monitor, though i can hear the baby if she starts crying and run to her to get her to sleep straight away. I would rate it 10/10 unit. Also the i received two emails from the buyer asking if i was happy. Great little camera. Who needs these fancy wifi baby monitors? This does a perfect job on watching my baby without the hassle of wifi or apps. Has cute little lullabies and a microphone to talk to your baby (not that my child has any interest in hearing my voice). Battery life could be better as I have to charge it every other day. Other than that, cant complain.
EDIT: after using this every night for a few months the battery is now shocking! It charges all through the night and as soon as it is unplugged and turned on the battery has one bar, sometimes none and the batter dies. Now we have to have it plugged in all the time which can be an inconvenience.
Bought for use in baby’s nursery. Only used a couple of times so far and it seems really good. Easy to set up.
Had to contact customer services as one of the power units didn’t work and they were fabulous. Problem resolved immediately and lovely customer service to boot.
A few small niggles:
1.the sucker feet on the camera slip out of the camera base quite easily and don’t have huge amounts of sticking power anyway, so don’t rely on them.
2. I find it difficult to get into some of the submenu options – the unit doesn’t seem able to navigate to all of them – but maybe thats something I just have overlooked in my sleep deprived state! 🙂
3. We had the monitor on continuous for a couple of hours and the battery was running low which was disappointing but probably to be expected. There is a power saving option but our baby is still young so I’m not ready to use that yet – I want to see him all the time lol
This is the first review I’ve written but, as an avid reader of reviews, I felt compelled to write one about this great monitor and fantastic customer service received from Charlotte at Edith and George.
We were in the market for a new baby monitor after our other (very well known brand) monitor stopped working abruptly 2 days out of warranty…. hmm…! After A LOT of research and beginning to despair at the crowded market of baby monitors, none of which appear to have consistently good reviews, we decided to “take a chance” on the Lullaby Bay baby monitor and we are so pleased we did for the following reasons:
Pros:
Customer service is outstanding – emails are responded to within minutes and Charlotte posted out a replacement battery to us as soon as I contacted the company about the poor battery life we were experiencing. The battery was easy (albeit a little fiddly) to replace and solved the battery life issue straight away.
Battery life is now great – on full charge and with screen brightness and volume on medium (not using VOX mode) I think it lasted about 5-6 hours before we got a low battery warning.
Picture is clear – we only use it on night vision so can’t really comment on day picture.
Sound is good and the microphone “talk-to-baby” feature works well.
Slim, compact and lightweight design of both the camera and parent unit.
Range is fabulous – I have no idea how far it actually reaches but we get full signal in our garden the opposite side of the house to our baby’s room!
There is an easy on switch on both the camera and parent unit (we had to return a different make of baby monitor due to no on switch on the camera so I felt this was worth mentioning!!!!)
VOX mode is great if you want to use this.
Good length cable on both the camera and parent unit.
Camera doesn’t get overly hot like our previous monitor did.
Temperature seems accurate (maybe 1-1.5 degrees higher than our thermometer).
The time is really useful to have on the display (particularly when baby stirs in the night!)
Very easy to set up and operate.
There are a few cons which I would like to think the manufactures might consider addressing for subsequent models:
Cons:
A short tune is played on the parent unit and a soft “beep beep” is emitted from the camera every time they are switched on. We just make sure they’re both on before we settle our baby.
The tiny blue on light on the camera is suprisingly bright! We solved this by putting a piece of electrical tape over it.
The menu on the parent until could be easier to navigate through.
No zoom function (although picture is perfectly clear enough to see if baby’s eyes are open)!
No option to switch screen off but keep sound on. We simply turn the monitor face down at night.
Bottom line – would we buy this monitor again? Yes, absolutely. The cons are more slight inconveniences which can be worked around and the customer service is so wonderful that if you did have any issues you can be assured they would be resolved immediately.

I never write reviews on Amazon but I thought this monitor deserved one. I’m really happy with how it works and the picture and sound quality is excellent. I can easily hear whenever my baby stirs and can happily be out in my back or front garden and not have to worry about the signal going.
My only slight negative is that the battery life on the screen unit runs down fairly quickly if you’re out and about in the garden I do pop it back on charge whenever I’m done using it as I dread it completely running out.
The delivery of the monitor was extremely quick even over a bank holiday?! And the customer service you receive is fantastic.
I would definitely buy this unit again and would recommend it to friends/family if they ever needed one for there child.
Just wish the battery was better on the handheld unit.
I purchased this product after being put off by the amount of bad reviews of some of the more established brands both on Amazon and from friends / family. Both the camera and monitor unit are small and sleek, and the battery life of the video unit is pretty decent. It’s also good value compared to the other monitors which we were considering.
There are a few things that could be improved:
– the little sucker feet to attach the camera don’t really work that well, so I ended up having to buy a holder from another seller which attached to the cot itself
– the video unit makes a rather loud and annoying noise when you turn it on
– it’s really easy to accidentally press the lullaby button (which we never use), and could inadvertently wake a sleeping baby
The Lullaby Bay baby monitor is a piece of amazing technology. VERY impressed. Nice size screen with clear night vision, anti hack, relaxing lullaby’s played. Good to know what temperature the room is too. This product is fantastic it allows parents to relax while carrying on doing other thing. You don’t have to keep going up and down the stairs every five minutes. The buyers were brilliant, they want to know if you are happy or have any troublshooters which they would sort immediately. This is the only monitor I’ve bought so I have nothing to compare it to but I think this is good. I’m not a huge fan of the music, and the picture quality is generally good although I find it easier to see in night vision if I have the monitor slightly tilted to one side. The sound and signal are good although I find it can cut out intermittently but only for half a second. I only realised this when I was playing the music. I like that it has a microphone function so I can speak to baby and reassure her when she wakes up. The battery is really good and will last for 2 of her naps before it needs to be plugged it. On the whole I like the monitor and would recommend it.
Honestly, this monitor has been amazing so far. As a single parent it has given me the ability to get my daughter to sleep and comfortably leave her whilst I go shower, prepare food/bottles, tidy etc.
The picture quality for both night and day is perfect. I love that I am able to check on her with a click of a button instead of running up and down the stairs. If she wakes and makes noise the screen instantly lights up.
The music function is really sweet, it’s nice to have some songs on there that aren’t just nursery rhymes.
I spent so long reading reviews before I purchased a monitor and I am so glad I decided to go with this one. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a monitor

I just wanted to add an update about the customer service of this company. It is far beyond anything you would expect from a company. I recently had an issue with the battery of my monitor, I contacted the company about it and wasn’t really expecting much because I bought this item 16months ago and if I’m honest I had prepared myself to buy the same monitor again. But because they offer an 18month warranty they have helped me fix the issue and guide me through everything. Such a refreshing friendly experience
Product bought initially to allow my daughter to monitor her sick Mum overnight, but will revert to a baby monitor when baby arrives in April. Easy to set up, the connection is secure and both sound and picture quality is good, including infra red mode. Like a walky-talky you have to keep the PTT button pressed whilst speaking into the parent unit, but keep it pressed for a few seconds afterwards, to ensure the message is not cut short. Similarly, the recipent needs to dwell a few seconds before replying. This need for delay is annoying and takes getting used to but it is the only downside I can find and is not applicable when used as a baby miniotor when two way conversation does not apply. That aside it is an excellent piece of kit to monitor Mum and provides reassurance that she is OK without having to stay with her 24/7. Would recommend to anyone.
I like:
1) It’s slimmer and lighter than the Motorola.
2) The screen size is still about the same.
3) The image quality is better than Motorola.
4) The night vision works well and covers the full screen, not falling off at the edges like Motorola.
5) The VOX mode (switches on automatically when sound detected) is a neat feature and works well.
6) The wires on the power supply units seem thicker / better quality than the Motorola.
7) The volume is fine for my needs
8) The range was impressive, though I didn’t compare it against the Motorola.
9) No stick-up aerial on parent unit.
10) The customer support from Edith and George is outstanding. I emailed a query (on a Saturday) and received not one, but two replies (from two different Edit and George people) the same day which were exceptionally friendly, comprehensive and helpful.
I didn’t like:
1) The camera unit is very light and is easy to disturb (e.g. when switching on). A couple of suction caps are supplied which you can fit on the bottom but I didn’t find them particularly effective, even on an old shiny granite worktop sample I found. I’ll probably make do with some Blu-tak.
2) The silly tune that plays when the parent unit is switched on. Duh?
So, overall, this is a great baby monitor from a seller which would appear to offer exceptional customer service – highly recommended.
There are so many video monitors to choose from at a wide range of prices so I settled on this one in the end due to the product spec and good the reviews.
PROS –
* Simple to use and set up (you literally just turn it on)
* Really good picture quality, especially in night vision
* Good battery life- I did one full charge overnight when I first got it and then it lasted a whole night and two long naps before it went down to one bar of battery and I charged it, so it still would have lasted longer.
* Vox mode – screen only comes on when theres movement/sound – I just have it face down overnight and unless there is lots of noise the screen lighting up don’t disturb us.
CONS – (nothing significant)
* You can’t move the camera remotely but not a big problem (was just used to this feature from previous monitor)
* When you turn the screen on it plays a little jingle which isn’t necessary, which as another review stated, I’m an adult, I know when I’ve turned it on, also the jingle’s really loud.
*Bit fiddly to try and secure the camera up on the wall in baby bedroom.
All in all it’s a really good monitor.
Anyway, this thing does the job a treat. The image quality is good, the infrared function handy and the whole thing gives the impression of being very well-constructed and robust. His favourite (!) feature is the two way talk, which, he’s found out, allows him to discuss his breakfast order with us from the comfort of his bed first thing in the morning
All in all a good product and a good buying experience. I’ve had no need to contact the seller for customer service, but the pre-emptive email thanking me for my custom and offering any help that might be needed was welcome. Strong recommend.
And it was a good decision so far. Since the purchase day I was contacted immediately by the seller to thank me, express their support if something happens in the future and even sent me a quick Q&A guide.
The device arrived promptly, it is of good quality and the parents are delighted with the gift.
The quality of picture is fantastic, I witnessed it myself, the audio also very good and the lullaby function an added bonus. The important think is that the device doesn’t connect to wifi so it’s more difficult to hack.
Overall satisfied and already advertise it to friends and new parents.
The customer service we received from Edith & George was also among the best I’ve ever experienced.

My reason for wanting a monitor, is not for a baby at all, quite the opposite in fact.
My need was to keep a close eye on my dear wife who suffers from Dementia,and it does this admirably. It has helped enormously in this respect, giving me great peace of mind.
It prompted me in fact to mention to the suppliers, why don’ t they go one step further and build in a movement sensor and open up a whole new market available to other carers looking after patient such as my wife. I’m sure it could be a winner!
Final note: Although there was a small problem initially with the charging cable, this was dealt with immediately,a replacement the very next morning, no fuss, no questions asked, what more could one ask.

In the end we chose this one as not only does it have all the features we want but also it’s the only one that mentioned it was “anti-hack” and we recently read some unpleasant news stories about baby monitors being hacked into, so that gave us peace of mind.
Works great and was a good price too.
