I waited years to get a bandsaw thinking I would probably have little use for one but boy was I wrong , I’m 73 years old now and my eyesight is fading a bit , I have 3 table saws / chop saws but have become a bit wary of using them especially cutting thin pieces where I would need to use a puch stick , I find this saw a big game changer for me , nice sturdy table ,cutting ply and pine was effortless ,very quiet while it’s running and it also has lights that shine on to the cutting area making it so much easier for me to see .Woodworking has always been my hobby, and now spend my days making different things like wherligigs and children’s toys . I know a little about the technical side of machines but I was mostly guided by the price , but of all the ones I looked at I’m glad a chose this one , just wish I hadn’t dithered for so many years before buying one
customer service was a+ had an issue with the fence & they send a whole new unit out straight away & collected the broken unit from my home address, great piece of kit & i would recommend as a first band saw,
i will be using it a lot in the future.
Does exactly what I need it to, only downside is the fence which doesn’t lock very well but this is overcome with clamps to guarantee that it stays square to the blade.
Small and compact, though fairly heavy to lift. Well made and surprisingly quiet. Impressed with the customer service, too.
Excellent saw, work’s very well. Easy put together and easy to use.
This is a nice little machine. But I have to say it is tiny. It struggles with depths above 3 cm of pressure treated wood. For dry / internal wood, it could be ideal but I haven’t tested that yet. For wood under 3 cm (even pressure treated) I found it very good for its size. I was actually surprised by its efficiency , but that must have been because I had started with 5cm pressure treated wood with it. A 1.8m length takes about 2 min to cut. Under 3cm, it took me 20 sec. But I suppose I shouldn’t expect too much from such a small machine ( I was used to man size band saws.. ). I didn’t realise how small this one would be… But I have to say, it’s working great and so far, I am pleased with this purchase.
The table needs to be adjusted as even it says it’s 90 ( 0 on the table position) , it is not.
Once you’ve qualibrated it, you’re good to go.
The lights are a nice little feature, which I have not had the opportunity to fully test yet, but the lights are bright.
All in all a nice little machine, a but not for heavy / fast wood working.
Good tool. Blade cut wanders a bit but that is likely down to operator error.
The setup was simple to assemble as most of the components can assembled. So far, I’ve used it on a couple of small items of hard and soft wood and it dealt with each type easily.
There are a lot of nay sayers and bad reviews but I found it does the job , it’s not for a professional carpenter , it’s for the hobbyist , it’s not 100 percent accurate but close enough for my needs , I make clock cases & dolls houses for fun not profit so I like i
This a great little saw at excellent price good dilivery really good for a small workshop!
I like the size and power of this saw. I work from home and find it very useful for small and medium projects. My only criticism is the guard fence needs to be checked often for being square..
Excellent for small jobs, my Father uses it to cut up wood to then glue together to make larger pieces for wood turning, only complaint is the guide is pretty useless so he uses 2x clamps either end to keep it on place
A good product good for doing small jobs very useful tool to have around
A great addition to my workshop good construction and quality
I had to make a few minor adjustments at set-up but otherwise it is quite good. I wish I’d got a bigger model as this one is not for the bigger jobs that I occasionally want to do. Get the heavier one if you can afford it!
his was excellent service , GOOD FAST DELIVERY , this item band saw EINELL is just the job for the DIY person
good price range , looks smart on the work bench.
Quite happy with it used to quite a lotWith no problems
Initial setup was time consuming (it’s worth watching the Alex Snodgrass YouTube setup guide) some of the blade guides are simple (cost cutting) all in this bandsaw is cheap so I wasn’t expecting much. I do love this product and I’m glad I bought it. My 2 main moans would be the wood cutting guide is poorly mounted and doesn’t inspire confidence that it’s lined up straight, had they added another measure guide at the far end of the table then checking the guide was true would have been easy. My other moan is the LED work lights are not bright enough.
Very sturdy for such a small machine I wanted something for accuracy took a few minutes to get the blade central but once done simple to use and well worth the money
I haven’t started a project yet as I’ve only just got it out of the box and assembled and adjusted it. However, I am struck by its quality, sturdiness and build and am looking forward to using it for the first time on my train set layout. The only fault I can find is that there is no ‘pusher’ in the box, not that I’ve ever used one with a bandsaw. I haven’t complained to the supplier because I’m not bothered about tha
I have owned a bandsaw for many years and it performed sterling service but, when your time is up, you’ve got to get a new one and shopping is all we’ve got left whilst in lockdown!
Once, well constructed bandsaw and highly commended and recommended.
Great saw and arrived in good time , best I’ve ever had.
