I’m sure the interface works I haven’t tried it . I’m currently installing everything but it would be a better route to go with the 192-14 because it is powered and takes some workload off your computer. Also it’s advertised it comes with a few plugins. These plugins require a activation code that you have to buy separately. Most of them are protools stock plugins so if you run Protools you’re good.
I’m sure the interface works I haven’t tried it . Mi piace che facile collegare un microfono o strumento. Le manopole sono facilmente raggiungibile , soprattutto il master output. Installazione senza problemi driver. La base solida e sufficientemente pesante. Ottimo prodotto.

Cependant, la structure mtallique doit mal tre isol car des sensation de vibration ou picotement quand on la touche.
J’ai dj renvoy le premier reu, et le deuxime le mme “dfaut”. Je n’ai aucune ide de comment retirer cette “effet” et je ne sais pas si c’est un dfaut de fabrication, et je n’ai pas de chance, ou si tout les modles sont comme cela.

Cette interface audio midi fait la diffrence par son prix et sa facilit d’utilisation notamment avec une tablette mais certainement aussi sur un ordinateur le son est d’une qualit exceptionnelle et la maniabilit est tout aussi apprciable je la conseille vivement celui ou celle qui veut une interface audio midi qui soit performante

While I’ve only had this for 2 days now, I must say that after days of agonizing research with dozens of video reviews I’m quite pleased. It suits my needs exactly.
My main usage requirement was something that could handle 2 instruments, mic, and midi keys running to my DAW recording to separate tracks.
This is my first Audio interface, and sound quality is very good compared to the previous ways I recorded audio to my PC (a lot of individual USB inputs)
While less important, I also wanted something that didn’t clutter my workspace and this is amazing for that reason. I can leave the types of things I’ll rarely unplug like mics, monitors and Midi plugged in through the back and just plug in guitar/bass or whatever as needed in the front. Perfect.
Couldn’t be happier with my decision really.

Moved from a Focusrite Scarlett Solo to this puppy and I absolutely love it. The separate gain knobs for headphones and speakers is especially nice. The preamps do a great job of making sure my vocal signals are plenty loud. Definitely recommend this buy for a quality interface under $200.
The drivers actually enabled 32-bit, which is incredible for specific audio needs to avoid losing data. My PC is a Ryzen 5 5600x, so Ryzen systems are, in fact, perfectly fine. I have Windows 11 Pro, and the Windows 10 Drivers are excellent and hassle free. The software subscriptions are all optional via their website, so you do not receive ANY bloatware or unwanted apps. There are 2 included USB cables; 1 usb-c to usb-c and 1 usb-c to usb-a. I am using a different branded usb-c cable rated for 100W, so the claim that a “usb 3.1” cable will not work is false. The audio quality of 32-bit 192,000 Hz is phenomenal.

Setup:
AMD Ryzen 7 4800, Windfows 11. Fully working and making short work of anything I throw at it.
Saw on other reviews it didn’t work with Ryzen or AMD, might be a configuration, drivers or setup thing, it does work.
Tried with Cockos reaper 6 and protools, with AIR, Spitfire Audio, Kontakt, iZotope, mostly other software used and no issues whatsoever with none of the ones I’ve been using since W7. Will work with ASIO and provide great control of the usual windows audio specs, can be used as mixer/monitor for other non-pro-audio needs. say you have OBS and/or VLC and want to use each input for a different purpose, and eachone of the output L or R for different purposes, because broadcasting or whatever, this will support it.
Ich verwende das Soundinterface als externe Soundkarte und Anschlussterminal fr ein Kondensator-Mikrofon (Phantomspeisung). Die Anschlsse und Knpfe erfllen dabei alle meine Anforderungen an Qualitt und Erreichbarkeit. Fest verkabelte Sachen werden von hinten angeschlossen. Wechselnde Anschlsse sind vorn. Perfekt. Die Positionierung der Regler auf der Oberseite ist dabei fr ein auf dem Tisch stehendes Gert super. Alles ist gut erreichbar.
Die Wiedergabe- und Aufnahmequalitt (Mikrofon) ist super und schlgt die Qualitt der Onboard-Soundkarte bei Weitem. Das direkte Monitoring funktioniert super.
Leider scheint es Probleme mit den Treibern zu geben. Wenn diese installiert sind, scheint die Wiedergabe abgeschaltet zu werden, wenn kein Ton wiedergegeben wird. Zu Beginn der Wiedergabe, bleibt das auch noch 1-2 Sekunden lang so und der Ton ist nicht zu hren. Das ist sehr strend und ein kurzer Ton, z.B. bei einer neuen E-Mail, ist damit nicht zu hren. Das ist sehr rgerlich, denn die getrennten Kanle fr die Aufnahme stehen nur zur Verfgung, wenn die Treiber installiert sind. Ohne Treiber erkennt Windows nur einen Aufnahmekanal.

Also excellent for line in instruments or th rough amps and stomp boxes and then line in. Can also switch from line to play through receiver on usb or record on pc. Best sound quality i have gotten from any sound card. My 10 in 10 out m audio was great but the octopus thet came out the back was a nightmare. best combination of great priced great quality externnal sound card. (Could easily record 4 or 5 instruments at one time as well)
Great unit. Phantom Power is top notch. Jacks and controls are of quality materials and easily understood and accessible. This interface sounds awesome. Only drawback is the LED meters, which I wish were more extensive….blah blah blah….for around $100 what more can be expected! THE HUGE VOLUME KNOB makes this unit a pure win.

La sto usando da una decina di giorni per registrazione, mixing, ascolto di musica e contenuti multimediali ed perfetta. Specifico questo perch ho letto in giro che in molti hanno avuto problemi con Windows e CPU Ryzen, ma con la mia configurazione va alla grande. Sar stato fortunato io? Non lo so, ma nel dubbio vi consiglio di installare i driver ufficiali dal sito M-Audio prima di collegare la scheda al PC per la prima volta (io ho fatto cos).
Per quanto riguarda il prodotto in s, si presenta solido, buoni materiali e bellissimo feel sui potenziometri. Suono dei preamp cristallino e stessa cosa vale per l’uscita cuffie. Esteticamente, per il mio gusto personale, la scheda audio pi bella di tutte da tenere sulla scrivania (su questa fascia di prezzo) e la preferisco di gran lunga rispetto alle classiche Focusrite Scarlett. Al di l dell’estetica, il fatto che i potenziometri siano posizionati sulla parte superiore e le dimensioni siano pi generose della media, rende tutto pi a portata sia di mano che di occhio.
Vengo da una Behringer UMC22 e la qualit superiore di questa Air si percepisce praticamente sotto ogni aspetto. Ho avuto modo di lavorare anche con delle Focusrite Solo e 2i2, ma a mio parere non sono assolutamente migliori di questa, nonostante siano molto pi blasonate. Se vi serve una scheda audio sotto i 150 e non avete necessit di portarla in giro, questa perfetta.

Bought this 192|14 to replace my M Audio Fast Track Ultra after 12 years (which still works, I just wanted to upgrade). Much superior piece of kit, produces more powerful sound. Recommended. Use with a Shure 57, a Rode NT1-A, M Audio Oxygen 88, Roland SH-01?l, and various leads for guitars, et. cetera. Do wish it had the old printer cable port for my Oxygen 88, but definitely an upgrade. Recommended.

No haba usado hasta ahora m audio y veo q la calidad est bien buenos acabados bonitas lneas de diseo hasta aqu bien. En cuanto a conexiones de momento todo perfecto aunque noto en falta un botn de apagado y encendido, puede parecer una tontera pero para mi no lo es. Hay un pero y es importante sera el motivo por el cual la prxima vez no la comprara si no lo solventan. Cuando el volumen Del audio llega o lo pasa de 0db hace un crujido como interferencia y sucede por que no est preamp con un +10db por ejemplo o algo as, est toda las explicaciones google. Es un poco molesto y por lo que le a las focusrite no les pasa. Quiz la prxima vez adquiera un producto diferente.
Todo excelente, solo que lleg sin caja solamente la etiqueta pegada a la caja del producto por lo que pienso puede ser un problema en cuestin de seguridad del producto.

RESUMEN: Buena tarjeta que seguramente, es en esencia una M-Audio Duo ( que cuesta menos de la mitad) y te dan el mismo software. A no ser que necesites MIDI, te recomiendo la Duo. Dan muy buena calidad con guitarra y micro Si quieres ir ms sobre seguro, la Air 192/6 es un buen cacharro.

Tengo la sensacin de que no hay mucha diferencia entre este modelo con la Track Duo y la Air 192/6
Hacen bsicamente lo mismo, excepto que la Air lleva un interface MIDI y tiene una construccin ms slida. Pero no nos engaemos, que si la electrnica es la misma y conversin analgica digital tambin, son en esencia la misma tarjeta. Tengo un amigo que utiliza la Duo y no he notado mucha diferencia.
Confieso que eleg este modelo siguiendo el razonamiento ..”YSI” .. Y si necesito usar dos micrfonos a la vez? ?Y si necesito una guitarra y una voz a la vez? Y si necesito conectar un instrumento MIDI?
La calidad, tanto para la entrada de lnea como para la entrada micrfono, es bastante buena. Las grabaciones tienen cuerpo en ambos casos. Luego ya es cuestin de gustos personales.
En mi caso particular, toco guitarra y bajo y no me puedo permitir amplificadores en la habitacin. Ocupan demasiado espacio as que tengo que tirar de instrumentos virtuales con unos buenos altavoces.
La Air 192/6 me da todo el hardware que necesito:
Un buen previo, que funciona sin pc
Dos entradas independientes
La latencia con Asio es baja
Alimentacin por USB
Ahora bien. Como deca, siendo en esencia lo mismo, tena la sensacin de que el fabricante tendra algn detalle extra en el software con la gente que se gasta el doble de dinero. Mucho me temo que no es as.
Entiendo que Avid no acepte ms licencias ProTools gratis. No es culpa de M-Audio. La versin de Ableton Lite me parece bastante pobre, pero les concedo el mrito de darte un software til con licencia. OJO, que no gratis porque ests pagando de ms por la tarjeta.
Ahora bien, lo de ReValver, por ejemplo, es de risa. Te dan un software gratis (que ya es gratis) y te dicen que te lo descargues. No entiendo qu ganamos los clientes de M-Audio. Es como si te vendo un porttil y te digo, puedes usar Chrome. Si lo voy a usar, tanto si te compro a ti el porttil, como si no.
El resto de software no lo he podido probar, ni me interesa ya. La calidad de la tarjeta es buena, pero me siento un poco engaado con las licencias. Me comprar el Guitar Rig (que lo trae todo) y otro DAW gratuito, que hay muchos. No cambio la tarjeta por una Duo porque pagu el seguro. La calidad es buena y asumo el error de pensar que estaba pagando por un valor aadido, que no veo por ningn lado.

After working with M-Audio support, I was given an RMA to return the faulty interface, they didn’t just replace the interface but they actually sent me an entire new vocal studio pack even though I only sent in the faulty part. Replaced unit is working great so far.

Things were ok for the first things months although after about a month, you had to have the mic gain to the max to get any sound from the mic – and yes with phantom power on. Then suddenly the Windows machine no longer sees the usb device, and the power light on the M-Audio AIR doesn’t come on … but phantom power does. Tried another port and another cable and it seems to have a failed usb and is just passing through power.
After using the PC Sound card for maybe a month it’s night and day listening to my monitors on a proper interface. The hum is gone and guitar mixes have really come to life.
Not really impressed with the software bundled which includes lite editions of everything meaning pay more for the full version.
This interface enabled me to jump into DAW recording quite easily. It has more features than the comparable Focusrite and for less money. Number one perk is the USB/Direct dial. If you have any latency while monitoring, you can dial it back to Direct and still get your vst’s mixed in; although I’ve had zero latency problems with this unit. Other cool feature is the big knob to adjust your output monitoring through a PA or other device (stereo right and left separate 1/4 inch). I also love that it has LED lights showing your gain levels. Phantom power works perfectly, as does the other inputs for Guitar or mics (1/4 inch) that don’t use phantom power. XLR mic input on the back is great. It has a USB type C connector too, so fastest connection to your computer, also reducing latency. I’d give it another star except that I’ve emailed support twice to get an RMA on one that I bought and they never responded. I honestly think my son may have dropped it as opposed to it having any issues, however.
Ok. So, I’ve had mine for about 2 weeks now. I have mixed feelings about it. But it’s a good, cheap starter overall. I’ll just list what I’ve noticed.
It made pro tools run very slowly on my laptop. There’s no other way to phrase that. This device, specifically, made pro tools run slow as hell. I can unplug it and just use my laptops audio card and pro tools runs perfect. With this plugged in it goes slow. Idk why and that’s the main reason I can’t give it 5 stars. I have an hp omen w 32 gigs of ram. I can play most video games w pretty high settings with no issues. Pro tools had never been an issue before. But after buying the air 192 / 4, pro tools became very slow.
It works perfectly with FL studio. I have to open FL first and then I can open a browser and find samples without having to go back and close FL studio. So, if you’re a splice user, you’d probably love this. I’m sure any other daw (other than pro tools) would work just as well.
The hardware is solid. No problems there.
The preamps are cool. No complaints. Nothing amazing but they don’t suck.
Over all, I’d get it for production, but not for recording or mixing tbh. I don’t regret buying it. It’s a good cheap option.

i bought this product so tat i can work on pro tools first and other software bundle but Avid has discontinued Pro tools First , i cannot use the free software which came bundled without purchasing pro tools
I love the look and feel of this interface, the build quality is top notch. I suffered from the audio stuttering as mentioned in other reviews – however I accidentally stumbled on a fix fir the issue. If I open iTunes and play any song for a few secs and the hit pause leaving the iTunes window open, I get no audio stuttering or any audio clicks, pops etc on any other audio source like YouTube, etc
This unit is obv suffering some sort of conflict with iTunes software somehow resolving the conflict – maybe iTunes is dictating the sample rate? I don’t know but whatever it is it works 100% as it should by using this method – I hope this helps others as I was beyond frustrated and on the verge of sending this unit back until I discovered this fix.

Das AIR 192|8 ist ein sehr gutes Audiointerface mit hervorragendem Klang. Und es besitzt einen sehr krftigen Kopfhrerausgang der ohne Problem auch hochohmige Kopfhrer (bei mir Beyerdynamic DT1990 pro, 250 Ohm) mit hohem Pegel ansteuern kann. Sehr gut.
Leider ist der Treiber nicht ausgereift. Trotz neuester Version (V1.0.6, von der M-Audio webseite) kam es auf meinem PC (Windows 10, AMD Ryzen) immer wieder zu sporadischen Tonaussetzern. Hier muss M-Audio nachbessern.
Ich gebe das Interface zurck. Schade.

Ottima per registrare, ottima per gestire un podcast, io la uso con FL studio, con Ableton live, la uso per Twitch, la uso per fare prove con pi musicisti, veramente comoda.
Latenza inesistente, oltretutto collegandosi con USB di nuova generazione.
Cose “sni”
-essendo “dall’alto, la polvere arriva in mezzo ai knob e pulirla una rottura, contando che la scheda audio nera lucida si vede bene
-per rendere compatto hanno messo un loro midi in/out (forniscono adattatori) magari avrebbero potuto trovare spazio altrove, anche da sopra
-preamp non proprio potentissimi, molto chiari e cristallini ma tendono ad avere difficolt, come cuffie scordatevi di usare cose a 250ohm o pi perch non arriva abbastanza potenza, sugli ingressi non c’ un vero e proprio muto, collegando qualcosa come un synth analogico anche a gain 0 del knob il volume resta, e pure molto presente
-non adatta a musicisti inesperti, richiede conoscenze di base sulla gestione dei volumi
-i cavi in dotazione sono abbastanza corti, comunque validi e sicuramente di pari lunghezza con la concorrenza
Ormai la uso da pi di 1 anno, assolutamente perfetta e tornando indietro nel tempo la acquisterei di nuovo, non penso esistano prodotti con tale rapporto qualit prezzo. Visto il design dall’alto, sarebbe gradita una cover o anche un semplice panno per una miglior protezione dalla polvere, ma resta un dettaglio puramente estetico.
