First of all i brought this for production, but nit mix and master, only arrangement. but yea still i needed something good. I was on a tight budget, and after a lot of research i went for the bx4. i had heard a great review of the bx5. so i trusted m audio. and believe me, this is the best in this range. Great lows, mids everything. I mean in this price range, its the best. iam very happy i brought this

No Problems with the speaker or sound quality, dont expect multimedia speakers like bass and highs.
The sound is mostly Flat, i have to tweek the setting to my liking to find the sweet spot in response.
Recommended for Voice based audio consumption.
If you have space go for a bigger speaker 4.5 -5 inch for immersive experience, or go for presonus eris 3.5
no option to return without faults so was not able to change.

I purchased these speakers for use with my laptop. I like the size due to the size of the desk I use. The sound quality is certainly not bad for the price but maybe a little bassy for the size but is easily worked around depending on what you want to use them for. You have a choice of connections although personally I use balanced leads in association with an audio interface (Scarlett Solo 3rd gen) that I also highly recommend.
All in all very happy with build and sound quality for the price you pay.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much detail these speakers have musically. The bass is great for their size, and quite punchy and more importantly, not muddy. I am super happy with the quality as well. Great little mixing speakers when not in a main studio or if you are getting started into recording they are NO joke. Also great for gaming and other multi-media applications.
if you are on a tight budget, go, these are fantastic for their cost.
Ero li che cercavo di vedere un paio di casse per montare video , visto che sono un videomaker. Queste mi sono sembrate perfette , economiche , con una bella presenza e sopratutto potenza! casse molto piccole nonostante il fatto che sia piccole ! Tutto molto facile da montare e configurare . Nella scatola presente tutta la cavetteria necessaria a fare funzionare tutto per bene. Consiglio per chi non vuole spendere un capitale ma non vuole neanche rinunciare a delle casse ottime per quello che mi riguarda .
Ho preso queste casse perch ho gi una vecchia scheda M-Audio perfettamente funzionante e di ottima qualit, con la quale mi sono sempre trovato benissimo. La M-Audio non si smentisce, nonostante la fascia di prezzo abbastanza bassa, offre un prodotto pi che dignitoso per chi, come me, non ha pretese professionali. In ogni caso mi permette di fare home studio in maniera amatoriale, ascoltare musica e quant’altro, fruendo di un suono brillante e pulito, con una decente estensione di gamma . Chi intende fare altrettanto, ma in maniera professionale, ovviamente dovrebbe orientarsi su prodotti di fascia alta, con costi pi che decuplicati rispetto a queste dignitosissime casse amplificate.

But they are very good quality per price. I use them to check how my music will sound in speakers. I still mainly use Studio Headphones.
They have a flat answer in frequency. They are perfect for what they are made. If you buy them and complain could be because you didn’t have done your homework.
Yes, they do not have ‘deep bass ‘. Because they are for a different purpose and they are small. The lowest frequency they can play is around of 70 Hertz. For ‘booming’ bass you may want a 20 Hertz which those small speakers can not fizicaly afford.
Still, when I listen to others people music, I use a special beautiful piece of Open Source software to control the sounds: ‘easyeffects’ for pipewire; I don’t use Pulse Audio (I replaced with pipewire).
I want to mention that I use mainly Linux (Manjaro) and Open Source software.

Come prima cosa volevo informarvi che i cavi sono gia compresi nel pacco, ed ho notato in altre casse che ho reso che i cav non erano compresi. Qualit ottima, in un range non molto largo, ma ottimo per la propria scrivania da producer, cantante ecc..

Je recherchais de petites enceintes de monitoring pour produire occasionnellement de la musique, et je recommande vraiment celles ci, le son est clair, agrable. Le seul trs lger dfaut, et malgr qualibrage, les basses manquent lgrement de prcision mon gout, mais trs bon produit !

Buen sonido, los sonidos graves son increbles teniendo en cuenta su tamao, para un home studio son perfectos. Muy aconsejables.

Certo, a volte si possono sentire dei rumori di fondo se si connettono unit esterne non proprio stabili, per la qualit complessiva veramente buona.
Le consiglio vivamente a tutte quelle persone che hanno bisogno di buona qualit senza troppe pretese (che si possono richiedere ad altre soluzioni di altra fascia).
Nice for the money it’s pretty unbeatable. you can boost bass and treble +/- 6 db huge waveguide gives you a wide stereo image . go for the 4.5 if you can.

I bought them to compare mixes made on my mains and, for that, they work pretty well. No interference with the 80Hz crossover point on my sub so that was good.
I have a number of M-Audio interfaces and other products. On the rare occasions I’ve needed tech support, I’ve had no problem getting someone on the phone.
I’ve heard better at this size, frankly. I’m not seeing these as being available anymore. That said, I’m not looking to replace them.

Pur avendoli acquistati usati, devo dire che mi sono arrivati in buono stato e soprattutto non immaginavo di ascoltare un suono cristallino con bassi profondi. Consigliate assolutamente, io le sto usando con il mio controller Pioneer, pompano di brutto.

These sound excellent and are plenty loud, especially considering how inexpensive they are. However, certain devices produce a constant buzz in the signal. I’m not sure if that’s caused by the speakers or the device, but it’s annoying nonetheless. Also, after power the speakers on, it takes them several seconds to start playing audio. Still a great value for the money.
Mi experiencia con M-Audio siempre ha sido satisfactoria, es la segunda vez que compro monitores de esta marca, aunque en esta ocasin debo aclarar que me sent insatisfecho al principio por la construccin de los monitores, que se sienten ligeros y frgiles, pero siendo honestos, si son para tenerlos wstacionarios en un estudio pequeo no es problema, cumplen muy bien lo que se espera que hagan unos monitores de este tamao, esta potencia y este precio. Los recomiendo ampliamente como una de las mejores marcas y un gran modelo para su segmento.
Ho gi altre casse M-Audio superiori a queste, che dire, nonostante sono piccole di dimensione, trasmettono una qualit audio ottima, li utilizzo oltre per ascoltare musica anche per Studio musicale, la stanza m*4×3.
ho collegato “mixer Mackie, microfono Rode M1 presi sempre su Amazon” e tastiera Korg Pa300,
senza esagerare con il volume la resa delle BX3 molto buona e pulita, per un uso esterno o in un grande locale, le ritengo non adatte.
Ho avuto qualche problema di qualit, il pannello frontale di una cassa aveva i perni rotti, naturalmente ho fatto il reso, e dopo qualche giorno Amazon, mi consegnato delle nuove casse.

First of all: great value. Sound quality? Good enough for my use as computer desktop monitors. No, these will not replace your full-size, $500 speakers, but they are pleasant for everyday monitoring, and not very fatiguing. The tweeters are a bit “beamy,” so they sound best when you are sitting in a narrow “sweet spot.” Keep them about 5 feet away from you and this effect will be minimized. But let me repeat: great value and not much money.
For the price these sound great for my little mini studio for playing around I wouldn’t suggest him for a big time professional set up excellent value and sound for the money
using a basic DAC the volume, detail, clarity and bass coming out of these was really impressive for the price and easily blows away most bookshelf units in the price

These speakers work great for music production, pro audio, video, animation or any other multimedia needs. playing music is cool too. the bass is somewhat muddy when up all the way and doesn’t sound good after midpoint. the treble has high clarity. these speakers sound the best elevated and about 4 feet apart over head.
For me its very well balanced, good mids and treble with just the right amount of bass. Good sound definition.
For this price its probably the best home studio monitors I’ve ever had and dont think I will be swapping them for anything else anytime soon.

after breaking in they sound amazing up to half volume, bass can be heard and sometimes felt. then bass needs to be turned down a bit to go louder. can’t handle bass at full volume will start to clip out. highs are crisp and clear. they are great for a small room. if they break ill instantly buy them again. cant beat it for the price. sound is as full as it can be for the size. had no issues with the cables or wires everything worked perfectly no hissing or humming at idle.

Il top della gamma M-AUDIO! Ho acquistato le BX4 e devo dire che sono pienamente soddisfatto dalla qualit e dalla brillantezza del suono! Appena ho aperto la scatola mi preso male perch le vedevo troppo piccole ma poi dopo averle collegate ad un mixer Numark mi sono accorto che piano piano tirano fuori sempre pi potenza! Purtroppo l unica pecca che nella scatola non incluso un cavo jack da 6.5 mm per l’uscita bilanciata e l ho dovuto comprare a parte. Prodotto davvero consigliato!
I’ve used serval pairs of studio monitors and regular multimedia speakers. For under $100, just buy them. They offer good sound quality for the price, I wouldn’t recommend them for working on albums or for people who enjoy hifi listening, but they handle day to day tasks like a champ. They work great for video edits and do well for listen to music from any streaming service.
These also look awsome with the woven cones, and maybe one of the most satisfying volume dials i have ever used… such a nice click turning them on, almost worth it for that alone lol

The sound isn’t as good as decent studio monitors, but it would be unfair to compare.
Caveats. BAD, BAD cables.
The included left speaker cable (3.5mm mono to 3.5mono) is problematic. Disconnect and pop intermittently. By spinning a few times in the connector, the cable worked. But, it reflectsbadly on the speakers.
Then, the included stereo RCA to 3.5mm cable causes so much static and humming noise that it is USELESS trash. I verifiedthis by replacing it with an old cable from my studio monitors, and the noise disappeared.
At this price point, buyers would complain if cables weren’t included. Personally, I would have preferred a better quality Right to Left speaker cable, and a good quality 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable.
