Che posso dire un ottimo acquisto M-audio bx8 D3 suonano davvero bene ormai le ho acquistate da un bell po.. anno dei bassi pazzeschi suono pulito .. per chi ascolta genere house sono perfette
I have these speakers set up in my home studio which i use for music production of drum and bass, house etc. The sounds quality that comes out of these is amazing for the value, you can really feel the bass at the lows and clear vocals etc at the highs!
Price:- Advice for anyone buying, if you buy these as the pair it’ll work out more expensive than buying them separate, buy one of each and itll work out cheaper;)
Connection to computer- if you plan on running it into a computer it comes with no cables (except power kettle cables) so you will need an audio interface with the cables to connect or the cheap option of getting a y cable (3.5mm to 6.35mm to 6.35mm)

BX8-D3 quindi il modello con il woofer da 20cm… la qualit costruttiva, la qualit del suono (amplificatori interni in classe A e B), un basso da brivido, la solidit strutturale, il design, il peso, la mole, addirittura l’imballo, sono ai pi alti livelli che abbia mai vissuto personalmente, l’eccellenza allo stato puro, l’essenza dell’arte a 360 e il prezzo perfettamente allineato… se si vuole qualit la si paga..!
Bought for home studio…i like them …plenty welt and the led lights for alignment very handy..there is a hiss coming from them but i think that either my interface or everything is too close together or possibly connecting cable but its a balanced one so not sure but dosent effect use for me
Es un producto de calidad. Hubiera preferido que los ajustes de sonido y encendido estuviera en el frente y no por detrs. Entiendo que se vea estticamente mejor pero no lo encuentro prctico. En general es un producto de calidad
Si vous voulez des enceintes pour votre PC/bureau les bx5 sont trs bien mais l’ajout d’un caisson 10p sera le mieux pour profiter pleinement des basses.
Les bx8 sont immenses, des basses bien prsente, c’est du srieux ! (Le caisson en+ sera tjrs mieux pour avoir un son mieux repartie dans la pice, a reste des enceintes de monitoring donc trs directionnelles)
Aprs un rodage des deux , le son est vraiment bien, le rapport qualit prix imbattable sur les deux !
Coupl avec un M-audio Air hub , le top!

Hatte Probleme bei der Bestellung, aber der Support konnte mir sofort weiterhelfen. Werden nach kurzer Zeit ziemlich hei also Abstand von Wand halten. Ich persnlich hab mir Boxenstnder dazu bestellt (sehr empfehlenswert)
Letztendlich wie schon gesagt, viel Qualitt zum guten Preis. Ich gebe eine Kaufempfehlung!

I was surprised to find that they are very heavy on the bass despite moving the switch on the back of the unit.
Positioned at head height on Vogel brackets.
I will have to dial out the bass via my mixer. Or just may be I have been listening to rubbish speakers for way too long and will get used to these.

When researching for these studio monitors – a lot of audiophiles on forums always seem to say they are not good value for money, or ‘they’re alright but there are better options out there’. This is a load of rubbish! These studio monitors have a very flat sound and are very accurate for all uses.
I have gone through two pairs of these, I previously had the D2’s and now own the D3’s. The D2’s were fantastic, but at high volumes the treble become a bit out of hand. Originally, I thought the D3’s simply brought a design change but the treble seems to be more controlled at higher volumes. Everything else is identical other than nice little design changes which, in my opinion, look much better than the competition, and even much more expensive options such as Adam’s and Genelec monitors.
Whilst I can’t comment on what these sounds like in comparison to other popular monitors on the market, I can say I actually prefer the sound and looks of these over the slightly more expensive KRK Rokit’s. The power is fantastic too, they can get really loud when you want them to. At very high volumes, the voice coil/dust cap in the eight inch driver can get warm to the touch so I wouldn’t use at very high volumes for long periods of time, but for a small house party these definetely pack enough punch.
As mentioned above, the (almost) entire audio spectrum sounds accurate and controlled whether you’re listening to general music (which is what i do) or whether you are producing or even watching movies. Of course, due to the lack of a subwoofer frequencies below 40Hz are not entirely present, and another issue is that there can be some port noise at these frequencies, but it’s not very noticeable. On the subject of bass, they are very good and the bass is fairly tight and controlled.
Another con is that there is no standby mode, so I turn them off at the plug overnight as the back panel is always very hot regardless whether you are playing music or not, I also have this issue with KRK Rokit’s and the BX8 D2’s, but in this price range, you can’t complain.
In conclusion, if you don’t wnat to break the bank of a pair of studio monitors, but still want excellent sound quality with looks to go with it, go for these!

Blown away by the sound coming through the Scarlett 2i2 audio interface using FL Studio. Rattled all the cobwebs off the walls and no distortion. Heavy solid speakers – small but perfectly formed. Read loads of reviews and went for these. The fact that they were delivered by UPS to a house six streets away so I had to get them myself is neither here nor there.
Decent sound quality, I run it from an asus xonar essence one (with the DSD upgrade). The punch above their weight for the price.
They can also be used as a straightforward stereo, I would recommend using Tidal HIFI or Amazon music unlimited HD. You’re going to want a FLAC service instead of spotify, 24bit/96kHz flac sounds good

Cassa da collegare a scheda audio o direttamente via cavo Jack (o cavo splitter,che a me non ha funzionato).Collegata via cavo Jack da 6,35 a scheda audio e Pc Desktop.Suono molto pulito.Regolare su mono se si ha solo questa cassa,e nel caso si usa le cuffie mettere su stereo,oppure lasciare su stereo ma quando si usa la cassa togliere il volume a right oppure a left.Un po’ troppo alto il prezzo.Prodotto professionale.
One of my D2’s died and instead of getting a replacement single speaker I got these instead. The sound is better in the lower ranges than the D2’s. A bit too much bass in fact. Set to to middle switch on back. These would have been a full five stars but there is a very low hum that comes from them that comes from the amp itself (not groundloop hum). They definitely pack a punch though and have greater accuracy than some other active speakers I have reviewed. Well worth the money though unless you’re an absolute perfectionist.
Gran sonido ( sobretodo bass), probados 4 horas al 50%…las alfombrillas no valen para nada y puedes frer un huevo o asar chuletas en la trasera del calor… muy recomendables por ahora…la prxima semana que le de caa ( de verdad) veremos si aguantan o se ponen como el ncleo del sol y se derrite

La presentacin es buena, bien protegidos y con un diseo precioso. En fotos no se aprecia pero como digo el acabado se me hace mas elegante que otros de precio mucho mas alto. El sonido es muy bueno, los uso para masterizar y en solo una sesin he logrado sacar el sonido que estaba buscando sin necesidad de volver a tocar el master, muy contento. Obligatorio combinarlos con peanas de foam para evitar transmisin estructural. No recomendara a nadie que comprase los BX8, los BX5 ya logran unos graves desmesurados que se pueden dominar facilmente con el selector de “campo acstico” que tienen. Recomiendo ponerlo en la posicin mas baja (-4dB) para produccin y master, media (-2dB) para musica, videojuegos y cine y alta (0dB flat) para habitaciones grandes y estudios profesionales con mas de un metro entre los altavoces y superficies.
Es un puntazo lo del LED que se ilumina y sirve para configurar la posicin ideal (Cuando el brillo es maximo es que estan perfectos). No es una luz molesta, pero se echa de menos poder desactivarla.
No me ha gustado que el potencimetro de ganancia del amplificador sea continuo. Hubiese sido ideal 4 posiciones: 25, 50, 75 y 100%. Al ser continuo no se puede ser exacto a la hora de igualar las ganancias entre ambos y mas peligroso, si buscamos apagarlos por detrs podemos tocarlo y hacer variar la ganancia de uno de los canales. Cuidado con la chapa de atrs porque se calienta muchsimo (No lo veo mal, significa que disipa bien y es normal en un ampli A/B)
Los recomiendo.
Tienen gran precio y responden con mucha calidad de sonido, quiz mas para sonido electrnico, pero en general se defienden muy bien. Incluso con Bossanova en directo que lleva graves de cuerda, suenan especialmente bien.
Non piace il radiatore posizionato all’ interno perche costringe ad usare poco materiale assorbente.

Sin haberlos podido probar de manera intensiva dira que son de lo mejor en este rango de precios. Tienen un sonido bastante plano, que es lo que se busca en este tipo de monitores. Los graves suenan muy potentes y a mis vecinos deben de gustarle mucho porque cada vez que los uso empiezan a golpear la pared al ritmo de la msica.
Muy buen producto , tenia un poco de dudas por que nunca los escuche antes de adquirirlos, pero me han sorprendido gratamente! Calidad precio genial ! Y bastante nitido el sonido!

Bought 2 of these for casual Listening in bedroom. Blown away at the sound quality even though Full burn in is not yet over. Absolutely worth the price (10799/- each). Make sure to set it up with a good interface to get the best out of it. Positioning is key too.
I took note of other reviews before I purchased these, and they seemed like the optimal balance between quality and price. I tested these with and without balanced XLR cables and there is a world of difference with noise when balanced XLR aren’t used.
The sound is excellent for my usage, but they do get pretty hot so be careful you don’t have them on for long periods in hot rooms!

Devo dire che fin da subito ho notato che entrambe le 2 casse (acquistate separatamente e non in kit) dopo appena 30 min di accensione si surriscaldavano in modo anomalo. Tuttavia funzionavano perfettamente e non ho dato troppo peso alla faccenda. Premetto che il mio utilizzo prettamente da editing workstation quindi non ho mai avuto esigenza di spingere l’amplificatore intergrato al di sopra del 50% del volume. Come ho detto in principio la cassa dx un bel giorno ha gracchiato per qualche secondo e poi si letteralmente fritta ed uscito del fumo dal foro del reflex posteriore. A quel punto non ho potuto far altro che staccarla immediatamente dalla spina di corrente e metterla da parte.
Chiamata l’assistenza Amazon , molto gentile per altro, mi ha illustrato tutta la procedura per la richiesta di supporto tecnico della casa madre. Ho chiamato l’assistenza italiana di M-Audio (un centro assistenza di Treviso) che mi ha detto che non potevano fare niente perch il loro supporto era esclusivo solo per i loro canali commerciali escluso quindi la vendita su amazon.
Ho richiamato amazon e mi hanno assicurato che in questo caso il prodotto l’avrebbero comunque sostituito loro in garanzia in quanto amazon ha degli accordi direttamente con la casa madre. E cos stato.
Nel giro di una settimana ho ricevuto una cassa nuova di zecca.
In sintesi: Amazon 1 – M-Audio (assistenza italiana) 0
Oggi il 15/03/2020 e, a distanza di pochi giorni dall’arrivo della nuova cassa (R), l’altra la cassa (L) sta dando gli stessi problemi (gracchia, ma senza andare in fumo).
Non so che pensare… mi sono voluto fidare di tantissime recensione positive… la qualit del suono veramente notevole… forse sar stato sfortunato io non so… ma senza dubbio una cosa strana che 2 casse su 2 hanno dato lo stesso problema nel giro di appena 3 mesi dall’acquisto, senza nemmeno essere “spremute” (in termini di potenza) pi di tanto come detto in precedenza. Forse un problema di elettronica interna.
Ora non mi resta che richiamare Amazon e riattivare la procedura di sostituzione anche della cassa L.

Sound quality is excellent and VFM for people looking at these types of speakers is also great. Only downside for me is that plugging straight into a computer – not through an interface – makes volume control tricky as you generally want both speakers to be at the same volume but here each one has an individual dial on the back. Also, my old Logitechs had a subwoofer – horrible for tons of wires but it did have a bass control on the back which I’m going to miss.
Better than krks and yamahas if you want a nice flat response and accurate low frequency playback
I use them to monitor music production and im well impressed. For the money these are awesome against other more expensive brands. The 8inch woofer means i dont loose out on a rich depth without a sub and likewise a clear sound from the tweeter is impresive. Im very happy.
These have been the best in their class for their price point for several years now. Although this is the first time I’ve owned a pair myself, I’ve worked with them several times before. They’re open, precise, and as colourful as your mix is.

Wow what a pair of speaker’s, I had 2 already, that impressed with the build and the sound quality so I brought another 2 lol, so you can imagine how much power I have Haha. I run mine through a mixing desk and rack mounted eq, xciter. Which gives me more control over all. Would highly recommend them you won’t be disappointed
Fairly poor off axis sound but as near feild monitors that is what you would expect as you are supposed to sit next to the speakers.
There is an LED to set up the listening position.
The LED needs to be shining brightest on your ears.
The Low frequency driver is fine and a roll off filter helps if you can only place the speakers against a wall.
The rear firing port really performs best away from a wall.
The idea of this type of speaker is not fidelity but to allow you to hear your mix.
If you want to listen to already recorded and mixed music these are not for you.
If you want to mix sounds using a computer then these you might like.
If they produce 100 Watts at the speakers I would say the speakers are very inefficient as compared to my main monitors they are quiet but saying that when using this type of speaker you sit very close to them and they are plenty loud enough , just don’t expect to do a Stadium Gig with them.

Valgono il doppio del loro prezzo! Potenti e precise su tutto lo spettro dichiarato. Il woofer nonostante sia piccolino riesce a essere preciso fino a ~42 hz e i tweeter sono precisi e estremamente direzionali. La porta reflex sul retro le rende meno versatili, bisogna fare attenzione al posizionamento, dicono di non metterle a meno di 30cm dal muro ma vale la pena allontanarle ancora di pi. Il design pi discreto e elegante delle krk o delle pioneer nella stessa categoria di prezzo, forse pi pensate per dj della domenica. Il pad anti vibrazioni incluso non serve a molto.

Bel prodotto, completo nelle connessioni audio e pulito come suono. Se abitassi in una regione fredda avrei dato 5 stelle, questa estate mi ha fatto sudare: se ve la dimenticate accesa vi scalda la stanza. Per il resto ok.

As a Dj & Producer these are perfect for the studio but as good for mixing up a set.
A pair of these proved very effective for portable PA work. They were not really designed for this application, and so lack protection for the cones. This was remedied by attaching an open metal mesh to the front, with no noticeable effect on sound quality but vastly increased peace of mind. They provide comfortable sound levels for an audience of 200 with faithful sound reproduction. Definitely recommended.
Die Lautsprecher berzeugen durch ihr sauberes Klangbild. Die Verarbeitung und das Preis-Leistungsverhltnis sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Das in der Beschreibung angesprochene Summen im Stand-By-Modus ist wirklich nur minimal zu hren.
Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Produkt, das ich nur weiter empfehlen kann.
After searching and researching endlessly I went for the BX8 D3s and boy I’m glad I did. Set to -4db and about 15% volume the sound is staggering, crystal clear, can hear every little detail of my mixes now (and some of them sound awful!), I really feel like I’ve been missing out.
For the price I would HIGHLY recommend these speakers. Absolutely outstanding.
One negative – one of the plugs was totally bent out of shape when I opened the packaging (see included photograph), although it was simple enough to align.
Ottimi diffusori attivi, presenza sulle basse frequenze pronunciata dato il progetto bass-reflex, lo switch a 3 posizioni consente un minimo di attenuazione tuttavia la posizione flat da preferire.
Nel complesso una ottima ed affidabile soluzione.
Unico neo un leggero ronzio d’alternata in mancanza di segnale.
Avendo un suono naturale, realistico, vi faranno disprezzare molti dei video caricati su youtube, ma ve ne faranno godere molto di pi altri. Il loro scopo , in ogni caso, differente ed quello dell’home recording, e per ora tutto bene… Non ho ancora registrato degli “ensemble” ma con singoli strumenti, nulla da eccepire
Queste M-Audio BX5 D3 si descrivono con un solo aggettivo: SORPRENDENTI!! Attualmente sono collegate al mio front end da dj, e la prima sensazione quando si alza in volume di un’aumento esponenziale della pressione acustica senza perdere trasparenza. Il suono preciso, ricco di dettagli e la scena sonora non si perde neanche a livelli di ascolto molto sostenuti. Le mie sono ovviamente impressioni puramente soggettive per cui non sono da prendere come oro colato. In abbinata ad un sub di efficienza medioalta rappresentano un valido sistema di riferimento. Unica nota: necessitano di cavetteria raffinata e ben schermata per cui evitare collegamenti sbilanciati.

Bought one of these, and well impressed! The quality of sound is amazing, also plenty of volume. Buying another 3, will sound amazing with my Denon Dj Controller. Lovely clean sound and proper rumble in the bass.
Arrived on time and in perfect order but unfortunately the dome tweeters in BOTH speakers are not working, checked and double checked all my leads and connections and they all work fine as I still have my bx6 carbons to hand. Found it a bit odd that both tweeters were not working. Contacted customer support and they’ve agreed to replace them. Watch this space. New speakers arrived next day and no problems at all, can’t thank amazon enough..fantastic speakers.

This is the best product I have ever bought on Amazon. Excellence is what I experienced with this product. I love these speakers
As a set of reference monitors they are a little too “bassy”, flattering the sound you are supposed to be critically evaluating.
Things improve if you use the roll-off switch on the back, but still, they could do with a cleaner sound.
No evidence of mains hum or tweeter hiss and silent when you switch on and off (no popping).
At the amazingly low price point, I thoroughly recommend these for a small or home set-up. They will serve you well as the foundation of a decent hi-fi system as well, although the styling is more studio than lounge. I doubt you will anything better if you are on a budget.
Nun ist ein schriflicher Test ja doch sehr subjektiv, wenn man keine Hrprobe haben kann. Aber ich wollte nun endlich eine aktive Abhrmglichkeit haben, da mir mein Kompromiss auf die Nerven ging. Also bin ich volles Risiko gegangen und habe mir diese Monitore bestellt. Natrlich mit dem Hintergrundgedanken, sie bei Nichtgefallen zurcksenden zu knnen. Dazu ist es nicht gekommen und wird es auch nicht. Ich habe die besten Lautsprecher bekommen die es fr dieses Budget gibt. Davon bin ich berzeugt!
Nachdem ich die Monitore aufgebaut und angeschlossen, und mein erstes Musikstck abgemischt hatte, war ich sofort total begeistert. Im Vergleich zu meiner alten Anlage war es ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht.
Ich hatte das Problem mit meiner Kompromiss-Abhre, (Passive Speaker, 100 Watt Stereo Endstufe, Equalizer.) dass meine Mischung nie so klang wie ich es haben wollte. Ich habe meine Vergleichsabhre im Auto, meine Heim Stereoanlage, ein Ghettoblaster sowie die Anlage bei einem Freund. Nie hat meine Mischung so geklungen wie bei mir in meinem Heimstudio. Es waren zu viel Bsse oder zu wenig, zu viele Hhen und Mitten, der Sound war unausgewogen. Auerdem waren meine Ohren sptestens nach einer Stunde Mischen platt. Es war anstrengend lnger zu Arbeiten und es machte keinen Spa.
All diese Probleme hrten schlagartig auf, nachdem ich mit den M-Audio BX8 angefangen habe zu arbeiten.
Durch die M-Audio BX8 besitze ich nun eine wirklich gute Referenz Anlage, die alles klanglich so darstellt wie es auf anderen Anlagen auch klingen soll. Ich kann, bei geringer Lautstrke, stundenlang Arbeiten ohne das meine Ohre zu schnell ermden. Ein wunderbares Feature an den Monitor Boxen ist, die kleine weie Betriebsleuchte. Wenn sie am hellsten leuchtet, sitzt man genau im richtigen Winkel. Sehr hilfreich, wie ich finde. Natrlich sind die M-Audio BX8, Nahbereichs Monitore. Fr eine Schreibtisch Situation, wo die Abstnde eher gering sind, optimal. Obwohl sie ber genug Power verfgen, auch grere Abstnde und Rume beschallen zu knnen.
Einen einzigen, kleinen Nachteil haben die Monitore aber doch. Der An- und Ausschalter befindet sich auf der Rckseite der Boxen. Ist aber gut zu erreichen, also kein wirkliches Problem. Die Monitore knnen nicht flach an die Wand gehngt werden. Da sich hinten auch ein Schallausgleichsaustritt befindet. Sie mssen immer ca. 15 cm von der Wand entfernt stehen, damit der 8″ Lautsprecher arbeiten kann.
Ich erspare mir hier ber die technischen Werte zu schreiben. Die finden Sie im Internet.
Falls der geschtzte Leser sich nun fragt, ob ich diesen Monitor mit ruhigen Gewissen weiter empfehlen kann, so muss ich sagen, hundert prozentig JA! Fr rund 260,- ist es sehr schwer hnlich gute Qualitt zu bekommen. 300,- fr EINE Box ist eher mglich. Hier bekommen Sie ein Paar Monitore, mit auergewhnliche gutem Klang- und guter Verarbeitungsqualitt. Ich konnte bis jetzt keine einzigen Mangel erkennen.
Wow very very good speakers, nice bass and treble response got them linked to a mixer so gives more control over the sound. The only issue I had was one of the speakers had a slight scratch on the case but Amazon gave me a discount due to the damage. Would recommend these speaker’s
Oggi mi appena arrivata la seconda cassa perch volevo prima testare una e poi acquistare la seconda,che dire ECCELLENTI..Suono perfetto preciso e pulito senza disturbi e ne fruscii tutto questo per attaccate ad un mixer Yamaha con scheda audio integrata comunque contentissimo.No 5 stelle per L imballaggio che arrivato con un bel bucone ma fortunatamente tutto ok e poi nella seconda spedizione all’interno ho trovato anche un piccolo pannello in gomma adesivo da mettere sulla base dove poggia la cassa che mentre nella prima spedizione non c’ … mi sa che dovr richiederla.
Solidamente costruiti. Ci sono tuttavia dei compromessi per raggiungere questo ottimo prezzo.
In primo luogo, c’ un ronzio principale evidente. Non abbastanza brutto da renderli inutilizzabili ma secondo me, molto evidente.
La manopola del livello sul retro vaga, mi ci sono voluti un sacco di pazienza e di smanettamento con ambedue i volumi per ottenere un buon segnale centrale.
Dal punto di “vista” del suono, la mia impressione iniziale molto buona.
Usufruendo di quasi tutta la loro potenza il suono sorprendente, alti nitidi, medi e bassi giusti, il sound puro e molto chiaro.
Bisogna per fare molta attenzione di posizionarli in modo corretto in conformit della tipologia di camera-studio che si detiene (altezza di posizionamento dei monitor, inclinatura ecc ecc) collegamenti di qualit indispensabili.
Posso consigliare il prodotto in modo sicuro.
Il prezzo? Una forte raccomandazione: comperatele!!!
Per 150 euro le consiglio,ma dovete avere un ambiente privo di disturbi, per esempio fornire un alimentazione
ai monitor pulita e un segnale sonoro d’ingresso pulito.
Sono molto sensibili ai disturbi quindi non fate come me, prendere un adattatore due cavi e collegarle semplicemente al pc,
accoppiatele a un buon dac o un buon lettore multimediale usate cavi bilanciati, e cercate di filtrare l’alimentazione in modo tale da eliminare
il piu possibile ogni disturbo.Io per esempio ho avuto problemi di rumori di fondo dal pc e dall’alimentazione sto ancora cercando di eliminare
i rumori di fondo,ma comunque questi monitor mi hanno soddisfatto in quanto resa sonora.
Consigliate, ma per utenti esperti,non sono “plug and play” richiedono degli accorgimenti anche costosi per farle funzionare al meglio.
Questa la mia esperienza.

UPDATE : A couple month after this review I pulled this out of its packaging again just to test it…. and it worked! Now about a year later it still works. I guess there was something in there that needed to be powered off for a while to recover.
