I started out looking at a similar desk from Ikea, but I found this unit which worked out much cheaper, especially with the discount on the item, although I did already have a worktop for the unit. I’m truly surprised by the quality of this item! It’s very sturdy, all the bolts line up perfectly and the black coated finish is very high quality. The dual motors are quiet and the touchscreen controller is clear and responsive.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for an adjustable desk.
Excellent so far – controls give fast response and can adjust the table to any height within the spec – easy to assemble and clean solutions to cable management are achieved with cable ties
Arrived promptly, easy enough to assemble, and sturdy construction. I added additional cable management trays as I share this desk with my partner. So far very pleased with my purchase
Good quality solid legs, duel motors run really smooth, not too noisy and easy to program.
I used my original solid wood (heavy) desk top and it lifts no problem. I have brought additional brackets to fit power sockets and cable underneath to tidy them up off the floor.
Overall very pleased.
Genuinely, so impressed with these legs. Easy to put together. Mine moves about 60kg without any issues.
Incredibly well manufactured piece of kit that looks very smart.
Instructions were fine. The parts are pretty heavy, which is good, very sturdy. Instruction were good, followed exactly & got it together pretty easily. Such a good quality stand & the controls work great & are very simple to use. I love this table stand, if you are working from home, I’d highly recommend.
Definitely a step up with the 2 motors – easy to assemble (but it IS VERY heavy). Doesn’t wobble and feels very secure.
For practical reasons I’ve long delayed the purchase of this adjustable desk top.
Now that I’ve done so I’m quite pleased – my sedentary days are behind me now!
The compact box, of about 80 x 20 x 20 cm was very heavy & nearly damaged my back. But I’ve quite enjoyed the installation, that was not too demanding at all, that took me about 1.5 hour.
With my fairly heavy desk top the stand merges in a very solid piece of furniture, which makes the stand very sturdy and robust. I opted for the three-stage, black coated set that along with my varnished wood desk looks very elegant and it perfectly matches my black coated metal drawer set.
After using it for a few days I can feel it in my bellly muscles as the desk forces me to spend more time straight up rather than as an office chair potato.
When typing elaborate notes I would still position the desk at normal desk height. However when in business video calls or when browsing emails and preparing meetings I would stand, sometimes for 90 minute sin a row without really noticing it. I do this for a couple of hours per day and its more easy and natural than I anticipated. The desk has 4 memory positions which is quite sufficient for my use. It’s moves up and down very elegantly and slows a little once its near its predetermined height.
My desk frequently doubles as a work top for the family’s many craft projects. And for this the adjustable height is really great. I can lower it close to the ground when building Lego’s with the children. But also I’m quite fond of miniature model painting, which at a regular desk literally breaks your back. With this height adjustable desk I can put it up quite a bit so that its close my eyes and so that much back remains my straight.
My only reservation is that with curious little children around the house this could potentially be a dangerous electronic device given its weight and effective crunching ability..
Great product easy to put together very strong very easy to use
These desks are simply exceptional. At work, we just ordered 500 x 2000 electric sit-stand desks and I liked them so much that I decided to buy a couple of far cheaper frames for my home office, come hobbytinkering den. I went for the 3 stage model for greater height and load, which is great if you want to get right under the desk on a chair to help with routing and tidying up cables at the back. I also got some Under Desk Cable Management Trays (sold in pairs https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08N2ZQFJQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) so cables run along the back underside of each desk, rather than making an untidy mess against the wall behind.
The desks assemble in about 15 minutes and I have to disagree with several reviews on here that initially put me off buying these frames.
– The instructions are very clear although printed in greyscale. I cannot remember the last time I ever saw one printed in colour and the font size is completely standard.
– 2 stage and 3 stage assembly instructions are identical. I initially thought I’d been sent the wrong frame as ‘2 stage’ was printed on both sets of instructions but the seller confirmed that there was no difference between instructions. 3 stage was clearly printed on the box outer in any event.
– All screws and bolts are very clearly labelled in sealed packets. All bolts just screw in without the need for nuts, which cuts down the time for assembly and makes for far more secure joints.
– Although the control panel screen goes blank a few seconds after use, there is a large button on the back of the control panel, which switches the display back on. Its very well thought out and means the touch display is totally button-less like a smartphone.
The desk motors are absolutely whisper quiet and are easily as good as the 2000 fully built desks that we now have at work.
Desks can be set to auto travel to up to 4 preset locations with just one button press. They can also be set to require the user to keep their selected memory location pressed which is the default setting.
I absolutely think these desk frames are amazing and I only wish I’d bought them years ago.
Note that the box these ship in is very compact but also very heavy. A very good indicator of the overall sturdy build quality of the desk frames themselves.
TIP – If your company is upgrading old desks, why not try to get their old desktops as a freebie as they can easily be motorised with these frames. Normally they are destined for the junk pile and it saves the company just scrapping them.
Ordered the 3 stage, initially I thought this was the 2 stage as the setup instructions dispay 2 stage, however after setting up the dimensions match the expected 3 stage in the listing. The desk seems well designed and sturdy, will update after use.
Once assembled, looks great, works great, strong, silent. Just the biz.
This is an excellent, sturdy 3 Stage Desk frame.
I fully recommend that anyone looking for a frame get this 4 stage frame. I looked at all of the popular frames on Amazon and watched a load of youtube videos reviewing frames before I settled with this. For me there were several factors that made me choose this against an autonamous desk:
– being able to raise and lower the table between 62cm and 125cm is higher and lower than I will likely use but is low enough for my 4 year old to use. Also better than competitors
– 125kg weight limit is above my requirements but allows for future change of use
– the reviews were good overall and were relevant to the actual product being sold
Please keep in mind that the table top was my own old Ikea top cut to 130cm x 80cm from another table. Also, excuse the cable management, I haven’t got there yet.
Delivery and Packaging
Delivery was a couple of days earlier than advertised and the frame is well packaged, there is almost no way it could get damaged in transit.
Building the Frame
The desk is very easy to construct. After reading ALL of the other reviews and the questions, I was concerned about over tightening screws and components not aligning. I experienced no issues. In my opinion, a child with basic flat pack skills could put this together it is so simple. I watched a youtube video showing how to build the desk because of the points other reviews raised. Honestly, it is super easy to put together. It took me about 1.5 hours because I was looking for tools and was moving around in a 2.2×2.2m room.
Build Quality
The entire thing is very sturdy. It wobbles much less than I expected at full height. I was concerned that it might be a bit wobbly, but not at all. The plate that covers the power pack is loose even when tightened fully. When the table is fully constructed, the plate does not rattle at any point. It isn’t an issue, I’m mentioning for completeness. The legs are very heavy, but can be handled by one person without too much difficulty.
Lift
The table raises and lowers very quickly and quietly. I haven’t sat on the table and raised, but I did have a 15kg 49inch ultra wide philips monitor, a 4 year old, a laptop. The table lifted to full height without any difficulty. Since making the video for this review, I have saved the heights I like for sitting and standing to positions 1 & 2.
Negative points
I don’t have much to complain about. All round it is excellent. Here are the minor nit picky issues:
– It can take several touches of the control to activate the display
– The display seems to randomly light up every couple of hours for a few seconds, as if you have touched the screen. I haven’t noticed a pattern, but it doesn’t bother me
– The panel covering the motor power pack doesn’t tighten up fully, it could be how I put it together. This does not affect the use of the table
This is a very heavy and sturdy product. It took about an hour to assemble, instructions are not great so would recommend watching the assembly videos. I paired this with a 180 x 63.5 cm IKEA karlby walnut kitchen counter top and the result is amazing (will add video later) When extended to this size the cable tray cover will not fit as there are no bolt holes when it is this width, not a deal breaker but should really be an easy fix with a couple of predrilled holes. Operation is smooth and the height is suitable for a giant (which I am not). My son who is 100lbs sat on this with the 50lb karlby top, no problem at all going up and down, silent and steady. All in this is around 400 which is less that you would pay for a less sturdy, single motor IKEA desk, its excellent value. I also want to add that MIADeSITe customer service was excellent, always answering in a few hours with clear and friendly answers. I am now ordering another one for my sons study desk which I am hopeful will see him thought his school and collage years. Thank you MAIDeSITe.
What a brilliant product. Cannot go wrong for the price. It’s not the easiest to assemble but the video instructions were very useful. Would recommend to anybody who wishes to have a sit/stand desk but doesn’t want to fork out thousands for one.
Bought for my son for Christmas, the distractions were a little confusing at first but with a push from YouTube we built it quickly. By Christmas afternoon he was happily using it. It appears solid and working perfectly, good height range as well. Whether it will stand his use only time will tell.
Working from home everyday, and teaching, means I can’t just get up and wander around the room when I need to stretch my legs, so decided to get a sit-stand desk. A friend of mine recommended this one to me.
It took me around an hour or so to assemble (I didn’t buy a tabletop as I have an IKEA top that I screwed it directly to) by myself. The frame is very heavy, but that’s not a bad thing, and feels very sturdy indeed with my laptop and two 27in monitors on the desktop.
I can now sit or stand as I please, and the motors are pretty quiet – when I’m on a call or teaching a course, the other people cannot hear the desk motors at all.
Very pleased, and would definitely recommend.
Several months ago my wife bought a Bamboo-topped sit/stand desk. It really wasn’t cheap, but I found myself envious watching her move between sitting and standing and how productive it helped her to remain while working all day. So, I decided to build my own.
I originally attached this to a 1.3m Ikea top. I loved it, but wanted to go bigger, so bought a 2m beech top to create the ultimate sit/stand setup.
The listing says you can only extend to 1.6m, but the only restriction on this is the cable tidy cover which sits on the underside. The internal bars were long enough for me to extend to 1.8m, while still providing the rigidity required to ensure a solid setup. A couple of Velcro ties were all that was required to keep things neat and tidy.
My PC is hefty; the solid beech top is also around 30kg. Added all together this is probably supporting around 50kg, across a greater width than the manufacturer says is achievable… and the motors are just as fast and silent as they were with the smaller ikea top. The 5 memory pre-sets work a charm and save a lot of leaning across with a desk this wide; overall, I couldn’t be happier. My wife is now envious of my setup whereas I’ve been envious of hers for months!
Just need to install my under-desk cable tidies now and this project will be complete!
I have it for some time now, purchased a IKEA top and fitted really nice.
Was quite easy to assemble.
I’ve been using this desk for a while now. Assembly was simple and fitting my chosen top was a breeze.
I’ve fitted an 18mm sheet of hardwood ply and a heavy glass top over that. Sat on the desk are three 27″ displays and an array of equipment for the working day ahead, as well as my own laptop. So this will take a good amount of weight before it starts to groan! I switch between standing and sitting down at the touch of a button each day and the motor effortlessly moves the desk up and down. With the glass top, which easily weighs 30Kg (not including the weight of the 18mm ply), it can lift a 90Kg person to full height without the motor sounding like it’s working very hard.
At full extension the desk has a slight amount of wobble. Not to the extent it would concern me or be a problem in anyway way. It could even be the way I have everything positioned. All the weight on one side. Despite this, the top remains completely level. Though I think it quite a niche requirement to use at full height. 127cm floor to desk top. I only raise it that high to get under the desk!
The anti collision feature is great. It doesn’t take much resistance for it to stop and raise slightly. So not concerns of crushing something before it realised something is there. Though if the legs are not parallel, it will think there is an obstacle and prevent you from lowering the top. I realised this when I tried to move it with everything on. Quick lift on one side to let the leg naturally move back into the right place sorted that.
Oh and I can even charge my phone from the USB on the side of the controller. Very handy!
Materials are very robust. Took about 40 minutes on my own to install. Programming the levels wasn’t as intuitive as I had hoped. Very happy with the purchase.
I am so happy with this. I used it to replace the legs that came with my custom desk from ETSY. The desk is heavy without my iMac and other stuff so went for the model that took the most weight.
It goes super high as well for when my back gets sore and I need to stand to edit.
I’m really surprised how strong and powerful this frame is, I had been worried it would struggle with the weight as I use 4 24 in screens but it hardy breaks a sweat, this is so much more versatile and I feel much less stress in body working all day mixing between sitting and standing, I would highly recommend i
I’m an electronics engineer, and almost impossible to please when it comes to anything mechanical or electrical. This was so good that I bought a second one.
Your delivery driver will mention the weight of the package. It feels like it’s been filled with depleted uranium and lead. The reason for the weight is that it’s built from proper thick steel. Not only did they not skimp on materials, they also went to town on the motors, gears and bearings. There is zero play. The motor is smooth, quiet and doesn’t sound stressed. If you extend it to its full height, you will notice that you can make it wobble a few millimetres. It took me a moment to realise that the compliance was in my floorboards, not in this frame.
Remember when Japanese stuff was considered to be cheap and bad quality but then it became the best? This is an example of Chinese quality being right up there with the best.
If you can’t tell, I’m impressed. And that’s after spending 500 or so on two of them!
I love this, it changes my whole workplace.
It was easy to set up. Worked first time and is as silent as a lamb.
Can’t say anything bad about it except maybe make sure you have someone with you if you have to get it upstairs. This is a solid bit of ki
The heavyweight desk frame gave me confidence that once assembled would be up to the job. Initially it seems brilliant, easy to assemble, robust and easy to use. I found setting the preset heights easy and quick to do.
Excellent- perfect. Easy to put together and has made working from home so much more comfortable.
Definitely recommend.
Some tricky set up, especially around getting the display and setting the positions, but once set up it’s a great desk. The motion is smooth, was worried my coffee might wobble over when it moved but there’s zero shaking.
Got it for few months now.
I ordered that frame for tripple stand, and it is amazing, it is possible to make it very wide, only thing that limits that is metal cover underneath, but if You don’t mind u can not mount it at make it wider.
It is super sturdy and motors work perfectly i got 160cm by 80cm top on it, but easly You can mount 200cm and it still will be sturdy.
I love that product as a preson who plays a lot of games and use it for work too!
Overall, very decent product.
I purchased another product initially but it wasn’t the right size, so I refunded that other product. I then purchased this one and it was immediately clear that this is a vastly superior product, the size and measurements are as stated on the advert. It was easy to set up than the other and the materials look very sturdy in comparison to the other product. Really happy with this product.
I was a little concerned given the pricing of this product that it wouldn’t be up to the job. I have replaced my existing desk legs with these and it is fantastic. Really smooth motion and is almost silent. Really sturdy legs and the desk doesn’t wobble or move at all. A great purchase.
Very sturdy – feels like a tank. Really solid and heavy metal structure. Moves up and down quite smoothly and quickly.
I went for the 3-stage model as it has a lower minimum height and higher maximum height. The height range is excellent.
The reason I’ve given 4 stars is for two reasons:
– The desk doesn’t seem to support the advertised 200cm only 160cm because the cable management casing doesn’t extend. You could maybe build a DIY solution to this but I’d expect the manufacturer to provide an extendable case given they’ve advertised it as 200cm. For now I’ve gone for a smaller desktop so it’s not an issue for me at the moment. Maybe in future it will be though if I upgrade the desktop.
– The touch screen is not great. The screen only activates if you press somewhere where a button is but you can’t see the buttons when the screen is on standby so you might find yourself tapping around a few times until youre able to get the screen to turn on. It’s quite annoying. EDIT: You get used to it and learn where to tap first time without looking. I tap the far right to activate then press the buttons I want to use.
I bought the dual motor three-stage desk frame for usage with an existing 140cm x 60cm solid oak desk top. The desk frame is of high quality construction and is weighty, with very little wobble when fully extended. The assembly instructions were clear and detailed. The supplied wood screws were sufficient to securely attach the base to the desk top (this did require pilot holes to be drilled). The instructions also explain how to change from the constant-touch mode to the one-touch mode. This has been a fantastic addition to my home office set-up and I was so impressed that I bought a second one for use in another room.
Very easy to assemble, mounted an Ikea Lagkapten tabletop.
Stable and solid.
After receiving the desk (which is fairly weighty) even for a bodybuilder
Everything was supplied that was needed even screws for a separate desktop.. other than the first 4 initial leg screws the build is very straight forward and actually pretty enjoyable!
I was worried the legs wouldn’t be sturdy but even on full high with a 32″ ips panel it’s rock solid.
I am super happy with the desk so far, and how it keeps up!
A really good product. In spite of keeping to a decent exercise routine for this past year or so of working from home, my back has been really suffering. But with this I now spend half the day sitting and half the day standing. The height presets are great.
For the desktop I just bought a no-frills IKEA one for now. It’ll be easy to swap out in future, but for now it works really well.
It came in a box and it was relatvely easy to assemble. It is very heavy and it does provide a good support to the desk top. It can be preprogrammed to different heights and it is extremely steady when it moves.
The photo shows laptop on stand, two 27 inch monitors so these motors on this desk can deal with a decent load. I chose a 3 stage motor pair of desk legs and was not disappointed; when standing I want it to be between 1.05 and 1.1 m. Many of the competition could not reach that high whereas this 3 stage MAIDeSITe could reach nearly 1.2m
It doesn’t score 5 stars for two main reasons. The parts do not click into place nor have guide lugs to assist the person during assembly. The parts are held into place purely by the force exerted by the screws. Yet, there are no nuts on the other end of the machine screws. Therefore I would suggest not to over tighten the screws otherwise you would strip the thread in the metal work. This is where experience in building flat packed furniture would be useful. Otherwise, just tighten to finger thght until the very end check it again for figer tightness then add glue to certain pieces, or mastic which you could cut off in the future when moving office.
The instructions are poor. There is no excuse to print it in grey colour and two pages to a side of A4 sheet. Why not use black ink and full A4 size ? As it was a struggle to read it even with magnifying glass, I scanned it and zoomed into it on a 27 inch monitor so as to read it properly. The instructions were confusing because one step, instead of breaking it into two steps, was given as a either / or situation. To add to the confusion, the packets of screws labelling did not fully correspond to the printed instructions 100%. Also I found an error – it mentions 110v but is UK it is 230v and EU 220v, There was no web site address to download a pdf of the instructions othewise I would have needed to scan the paper version. Only after assembly was complete did I chance upon video training of assembly process on You Tube.
Given the relative low price as compared to the competition of height adjustable desks, it scores a 4 star but could easily have reached 5 if manufacturer gave some attention to detail.
Really nice desk. Brought the IKEA MellTorp desk top and used the screws they provided. The SKARSTA 120×70 was another table top we look at too.
Table is 25kg so decided to get caster wheel 12 off Amazon, max load 200kg. Make sure you check as some are 10kg per wheel. M8 screw important.
Extra usb built into controler but. I have attached a extension lead under the table using velcro so only have one cable going to the wall plug.
Finally have stuck 2 little draws under the desk on both sides because I move the table randomly. Everything from Amazon apart from table top. I am 6ft3i
Exactly the way I imagined it to be. I fitted an Ikea Saljan top to it and the frame is super steady! Highly recommended if you need a big desk for work/personal use.
I used this with an existing desk top, so assembly time was longer than if I’d bought one from MAIDeSITe, at about 2 hours. Someone more handy could have done it quicker! Very pleased with the result. It looks great, is rock solid and the controls are easy. It lifts my monitor, laptop and stand, keyboard and mouse, various stationery, coffee etc no problem. It even takes me leaning on it (I’m 6ft and about 90kg) without moving. Tidying up the various cables takes a bit of time and I found the most secure way is with extra screws and wire ties on the underside of the desk. Just make sure you get one that goes high enough, it’s higher than you think – forearms should rest on the desk parallel to the floor when you are standing.
Was a bit sceptical especially with loads of different options available on the market, the desk frame arrived earlier than expected. And was was easy to assemble. Very quiet with the dual motors too.
Having worked on a desk for over 20 years I have recently developed sciatica and even with an expensive chair (HM) unfortunately it does not help.
I had this desk for the last 3 weeks and I start my morning with the desk at the maximum height (120cm – 2 stages) working standing till lunch time where then I lower it to eat.
before this short period the sciatica was already back for its annual visit but this time it has found me standing.
Please do not under evaluate the benefit of standing up, this means being able to exercise even so gently the back by moving your pelvic as you can/wish.
This desk has been a real revelation to me and has so far allow me to fight the back pain even more.
a well worth investment!
Installation is mostly simple, apart from having to flip the desk over on to its feet at the end because it feels like you might bend it but if I’m honest it isn’t a massive concern and I don’t see how they could change this anyway. Controls are simple and holds its weight well; I have probably 40kg on it constantly and operates fine.
The one thing I’d like to see is a more effective way to hide the cable that connects the motor to the controller, as the included ties lost their adhesion after a while. However, this a minor nitpick and can be fixed by yourself very easily.
Good Frame. The lower cover panel bolts require washer to fix the panel and to eliminate noise. They didn’t put these washers but you can easily resolve the problem by using 8 washers.
The first thing that struck me was to weight of the package when it arrived. Assembling it was reasonably straightforward, although the instructions could have been clearer. Once it was built, it became clear why it weighed so much – the table legs are solid with no wobble or unevenness. It was straightforward to repurpose our existing table top. What was most impressive is the smoothness of the motor and controls. The noise is low, with no vibration. Very good product.
Easy to assemble, quite sturdy even at higher heights. Quite quick and silent moving up or down.
One caveat is the issue reported by another customer which is the rack makes noise against the screws. However this is an easy problem to fix, just wrap the connection between the screws and the rack with some padded type of cloth or material like cotton pads.
A bit time consuming to assemble and setting the preset heights requires a careful study of the instructions, but it does the job perfectly. Make sure you get your cables very well organised and you’ll have no problems. This have saved my bad back while working from home.
Very Sturdy and well made. I have a solid oak work top and a load of kit on top (3 monitors and ancillery cables plus keyboard, two Warfdale diamond speakers. It moves this lot up and down with ease.
Exactly what I ordered and expected. Instructions are not sraight forward but you dont need two brain cells to assemble it. Very sturdy, quiet adjustments. Highly recommended.
This is product feels and performs like more expensive ones. Its very sturdy and the white option with IKEA karlby oak looks amazing. My only feedback is around improving documentation. I originally screwed it with the incorrect bolts In the wrong direction. Not to say that it’s not extensive but just that you should double check inscrutions. Otherwise it’s amazing!!
I like this table. I’ve ordered desk separately and assemble them together.
Size of the desk is up to you.
The process is not super easy but not complicated.
Everything works fine. Changing height is simple , fast and rather quiet. You can do it easily during videoconference without any problem.
Strongly recommend
I bought this product due to the size of the feet, stayed larger than the rest but when it turned up it was 60cm.
My concern was that it would be unstable but it is not. In fact I am very pleased with the stability. I think it’s down to the weight of the frame.
The table is not too loud when raising and lowering and has a nice control panel.
You can buy cheaper but you will likely get a basic up down controller and this one as 4 saved settings.
Excellent item good and sturdy and ideal for the prevention of back pain for easier working for home. One of the best investments I’ve made. Easy to build easier than saying abc . Standing desks in general are the only way forward.
Very sturdy and quite easy to assemble. An improvement would be better cable management. IKEA adjustable tables have a useful net underneath to hold cables and extension blocks. Delivered in one very heavy box. Splitting into two boxes would make it easier to move about.
This is truly a power house. The desk stand sit function is really able to lift a lot of weight. Does it smoothly and quietly. Very good product indeed. Very happy with the purchase
Great value for money. Study with dual monitors on an amazon basic monitor arm. I made the top out of plywood, which I sanded and varnished.
The memory settings are great as I share the deal with others on the family, so we each have a different “standing” height saved.
Managed to assemble on my own although would be easy with two people as some of the parts are heavy.
The instructions are OK, not as clear as IKEA and could be a little larger (had to put on my reading glasses to check the instructions) but the desk appears to be well made and all the parts were very well packaged.
Operation is excellent smooth and no judder as the desk raises or lowers.
My wife very happy, so it gets five stars!!
The Desk makes a loud knocking sound in one of the motors when it goes down. There is no way to contact the seller directly to resolve this. I contacted Amazon who offered a return and refund, but as the item is no longer available, i’ll have to keep the desk and live with the loud knocking sound! Ideally would still like this resolved please.
Update: Seller contacted my themselves off the back of this review and sent me a replacement leg. The communication was great, and very happy they are concerned with after care service. I’ve now changed to 4 stars.
As previous reviews mentioned this desk isn’t light but it does make it sturdy. The instruction manual could be improved and as someone who has assembled many items of furniture in the past I had to go through it carefully.
I bought an Ikea desktop which fits onto the desk with the screws provided by the desk manufacturer. The motors are fairly quiet and the control is easy to set up and use. It has the added benefit of a USB connector built into the controller.
I was looking around at the options for a desk for a while, and ended up taking a gamble with just the frame on this one
I’m super impressed by this product for a number of reasons:
First it was really well packaged and quite compact, might be a tad heavy for some people but everything inside was well protected with dense packing foam.
All the parts included were well thought out, and there’s even some included stuff to help out with cable management once you’ve finished putting it together
It was quite easy to assemble, the only things I would suggest is that you are have a drill (if you don’t have holes already in your desk surface of choice) with a 75mm bit (that’s what I used, 70 would also work if you have a soft particle board desk like I do) and that you have a screwdriver set before hand.
The instruction manual was clear enough to get everything right, and there were no missing parts.
Once I’d put it together I immediately sat on the desk and raised it up to see if the speed was impacted (I did a dry test with just the desk surface on its own) and was impressed at how quickly it raised and lowered, as well as it being reasonably quiet.
The multiple memory settings are easy to use and work quite well
Not sure how it will be in the long term, if it breaks down or anything like that I will update this review.
An amazing sit stand desk, I’ve paired with a YoYo desk 180X80 cm. The motor is super quiet, easy enough to setup, about 20 minutes reading instructions carefully and another 10 minutes to figure out all the programable options. Spend all my video calls now standing, makes a massive difference to my overall daily energy levels.
It’s a solid product but ordered white one and received a grey one – too much hassle to return I guess.
I received the desk (Frame only) this morning.
Assembled it within 1 hour. Pretty straight forward.
Using currently. Works absolutely flawlessly. Motors are not too loud. Heavy and sturdy.
I got the frame during a 20 discount. but I’d say its still worth the money.
One issue I would say is that the cable management housing doesn’t fully screw down. There is a slight gap. There is another review with picture of this. Not a huge issue to be honest. Feels secure and in place.
Heavy frame which is great as it doesn’t move or shake while using it. The top is not included but for 25 you can get one from Ikea. Cable can be hidden underneath it with the cover provided. Goes up and down by pressing a button and you can save up to 4 settings.
I have a spot in front of my window that was empty in my office where I wanted to setup my pc, however I also wanted to be able to keep moving about as more working from home means more sitting around.
This desk was straight forward to setup, taking about 30mins, the added niceness of this is the fact that everything has its place and stays nice and tidy when in use. It lifts up to a very sensible standing height even for myself at just over 6ft tall. The motion for lifting is really smooth albeit slow (I believe it needs to be as it has all that tech on it you wouldn’t want to break)
I went with a white top which suits my off ie more than anything else wood and it’s a really clean look once all built up.
Excellent product, speedy delivery. The package was extremely heavy- needed strong people to man handle! The assembly instructions were clear and straightforward. The manufacturing of this desk is superb quality. We put it together in under one hour and I am absolutely delighted with the result! No more backache!
I was doing a lot of looking around for a pair of sit stand desk legs. As I already had a solid wood top. I needed one that was three stage, took 100+kg and 200cm top.
This ticked all the boxes and was a lot cheaper than what I could find elsewhere.
Arrived in good time as always with Amazon. I was expecting a large box, it was much smaller than expected, but don’t let that fool you it is hefty.
Opening box, I found everything pristine condition with all the bits I needed to get setup. Manual was easy enough to understand and I was able to get up and running in 45 minutes.
For the first time in a long time, I can say I was quite honesty very impressed that it turned out to be a very good quality item!
So far it has been two weeks since I got it, and only a few days since I assembled it, very easy to assemble, quite sturdy and i really like the height adjustable feature. Best option for creating a comfortable working from home arrangements.
Looks really solid so I am hoping that will last for a few years at least! Really pleased with it and it arrived way earlier than it was supposed to!
