Good value for money and decent light outpu
I’ve had “smart bulbs” before in the past and have been a bit let down by their output, these are a big step up from those. I just use these with the iPhone app to control them, but that’s all I need. The scenes can be quite fun to use too for parties!

Relay love this! Installed really easily and comes with an easy to use app. I’ve connected mine to Alexa with no issues and love all the different colours that my living room can be now.

Installation is slightly long winded. I had to turn off the 5GHz internet but after the bulb had connected I turned it back on and everything is fine. I love having my light on a timer and you can control it from anywhere you are if you have internet connection. Eg I drove 30 miles from home and I could still control it. Love it.
Cool and fancy
I decided to purchase 2 of these cameras as I have tried 1 already, overall the bulb works great without any problems and fact you can integrated it with google assistant is great but does take a little time to tinker with.
The only problem is its wifi only works with 2.4GHz band and if you do not have a home router that allows you to split bands like in my house you will need to enable only 2.4GHz for bulb to work or invest into different device like I did to make sure I get performance boost of 5GHz.
So overall a really good bulb and features and overall happy with the purchase!
Perfect for my needs
Was bought as a replacement and it linked up to alexa with easy and the phone app.
Only issue I have is I can change the colours using the phone app, but not on alexa.
To be honest for the amount of times I change the colour it doesn’t bother me using the phone for that.

Easy to set up
Bought as a gift but it is exactly as described and liked well by the recipient. The white light is bright, the colours are also good. Set up was very simple and only took around 2-3 minutes total. Alexa integration was easy and they solely use alexa for operating it with no issues.

Use these everywhere
Started using the bulbs for basically everything, they’re incredibly practical.
The setup can be frustrating at best, painfully annoying at worst. Yet to have one of these connect first try, normally takes 10 minutes or so to get a bulb to actually connect to your wifi. Once it’s set up though, it’s good.
Nice gadge
Bought this one to my bedroom so I can turn it off with Alexa. Installation required to change your wi-fi router from 5 MHz to 2,4 MHz which is a pain in the back, all devices loosing its connection, whole installation if you know what you doing around 30 min. Bulb do not go into blinking mode on first try, need time to set it up. Overall really nice when installed but Alexa do not have all the possibilities with control, so 4 stars, not 5.
A good smart ligh
Installation was a bit fiddly, you need to do the on/off prices twice to put it into network finding mode, which wasn’t clear in the instructions.
The light works well, when white it is a serviceable room light. Colour modes aren’t bright enough on their own to light a room.
Once it’s done it’s very good
It was a bit of a pain to set up considering my wifi was on 5ghz channels not 2.4, so I had to manually separate the wifi onto a 2.4ghz which is slower just to use the lightbulb. But apart from this the lightbulb is perfect and works just as it should. The only thing I could think that needs improvement is the app and changing colours because it’s so hard to get perfect red but that’s only a small flaw. Definitely bright enough and very responsive, good product.
Pros and cons vs a cheaper remote-controlled bulb
I have remote-control coloured bulbs, and these wifi bulbs.
The wifi bulbs allow for more precise control of the hue, and an option for warmth of the white light mode. Also, you don’t have to be connected to the same wifi network as the bulbs, which means you can turn your lights on and off manually when you’re not home (rather than putting lamps on daily timers, for example).
On the downside, these can be a bit tedious to set up whereas the remote-control bulbs don’t require any setup at all. And if the room they’re in has poor wifi reception, they may just disconnect themselves from the wifi and you’ll need to do it again in order to use them properly (beyond the rather cold standard white light setting).
I use these in rooms with good wifi, and remote-control ones in rooms with poor wifi.
Very nice light once it is set up
My first light arrived without the ability to use the green color but I understand that something like that is one in a million so I’m not going to lower the rating just for that. I ordered a new one. Despite not having the green color it is still a very nice and easy to operate light bulb. I have it in my main room and it gives off a nice amount of light. Connecting it works fairly well and works perfectly with my Google Home! Would recommend!
Funky ligh
I haven’t got an Alexa but installed it easy on an app on my iPhone. Really funky. Can’t stop adjusting it for different moods 🙂
Works exactly as intended.
Really easy to set up, works with Alexa and Google Assistant (though Alexa is faster for me). Can have it set as the normal yellowy lightbulb colour or can change it to white light easily, or even somewhere in-between. Can also set the bulb to any of the colours on the colour wheels, changing the colours’ speed and saturation too. There are various pre-built light profiles, and it comes with the ability to schedule the light on or off too.
Overall very good, will be buying again if I need more bulbs.
Utterly amaxing
Ignored conflicting views (mainly about installation, and just followed the instructions, which were perfectly easy to follow. I have got 3 of them, bed side lamp, bedroom light, and landing light. they are so handy – especially if you get about with a walking stick and often have your hands full. And the pyrotechnics are a bonus and an absolute joy, Reasonable price. Well worth 5 stars. Highly recommended.
Great once you've set them up
You have to turn off 5Ghz on your wifi router to set them up, but you can turn it back on again afterwards. Setup itself was a bit of a pain, having to flick the light switch on/off/on repeatedly until it entered setup mode. The app works well and it integrates with Google Home quite well… If you don’t lose patience during setup, they work really well.
Love these bulbs
Such a good little bulb, can’t fault it for the price. Colours are awesome and definitely help create a cool vibe. We bought more of them for other rooms in the house! The only issue is when you’ve turned it off by the app, sometimes it won’t turn on with the switch, so you have to go back on the app to turn it on again.

Router settings
Easy to install.. only point is you have to change your router in the router settings to operate on 2.5ghz rather than 5ghz. Other than that set up is easily done once u download the smart life app to your moblie

Great for those with light sensitivities
I’m autistic and can struggle with light. This is brilliant as with the app I have control both colour and brightness to find a setting that fits any mood. The white light function of the bulb easily matches the luminosity of an old 60w bulb and the app allows you to choose a setting between warm white and cool white. One thing to note about this is it only works on 2.4ghz WiFi frequency, and most phones and tablets by default work off of 5ghz. This means if your wireless router is set to dual band, the app won’t sync to the bulb. You can either turn off 5ghz in your wireless router settings, or do as I did just get a cheap 2.4ghz wireless router dedicated for the light and app. With this done it works perfectly.
Easy to install
Got first one, and then another two bulbs. Easy to set up with the smart app. Integrates well with Alexa. Handy to turn off the bedroom light with Alexa, and the children finds it entertaining with the different colours.

A great fun addition to the house
The app made installing this very easy, and then I was soon able to link it up with my google home. The integration works really well so I can now voice control my light when I would like to. Also the app that you use to control it has a good amount of options and makes it very easy to control the light to how you would like it. I was surprised by the amount of choice available, you have full control over pretty much any colour you would like, and also the amount of brightness, so you can have it as a low light, or much brighter. I am very happy with the quality of this product and it integrates really well.

This type of smart lightbulb has been something I have been wanting to try out for many years and I finally cracked and made this purchase. It arrived very quickly and without issue, and considering I had no experience in setting one of these bulbs up I found the method to connect the bulb to the app very simple and easy to understand. Once all set up the bulb has 3 main features I swap between; white mode which is customisable to create whatever type of “normal” lighting you want e.g. a standard whiter light or a warmer yellow light. Colour mode which is a colour wheel that updates in real time to whatever colour you desire and both the white and colour modes allow for adjusting the saturation and brightness of the light in real time. There is also the scene mode which is a selection of options that have interesting presets, e.g. there are options for an automatically changing colour mode which recreates a disco, and others that are meant for ideal situations such as a mode to make the ideal light for reading. There is also a schedule mode but admittedly I have not yet tried that but I can imagine that others can vouch for that. There is also the option to have all smart bulbs connected to an Alexa and control them via that, unfortunately I do not own an Alexa and so I cannot comment on that functionality. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and I look forward to owning more of these bulbs and smart devices, just being able to adjust the ambience of a room without having to get up or mess around with various lamps makes this well worth it.

Very good bulb that connected easily. Good range of colours for both RGB and whites via the app. Very happy with this bulb, and far easier to install than the horrible phillip hue bulbs I have. Good to find one with a bayonet fitting as well, for old house ceiling lights. It works fine through Alexa, but I run it through Smartlife as the timer setup there is just so simple and easy to change quickly without routines. Would recommend. 🙂

Simple yet packed with Technology!
This item is clean to look at, simple but yet packed with technology. I personally have 2 of them linked to the Alexa app and havent yet had any issues with it. I’ll be buying more over time to eventually have every light in my house use these. 12.88 they cost me each though I bought singly; makion do multipacks. I’d suggest using this brand over cheap variants solely because I can guarantee these work!

Takes 2 seconds to clip in. Was a bit of faffing around to get it to work in the first instance but when it’s up and running and connected to google/Alexa it is easy to control. The brightness and colour can be adjusted. Can also set a timer on it too.
Simply home automation.
Easy setup. Replaced my landing light with this bulb to allow a timed schedule to activate either at set times or Dawn/Dusk. Purely because I was fed up with the kids leaving this switched on all day! I have a routine that dims and brightens depending on the time. I’m really impressed with the warmth and brightness variations that this bulb is capable of. Working great with Alexa.

Really easy to use with the alexa app. Great to have a dimmable light in my children’s bedroom and they love to pick the colour at bedtime. I can then just switch it off from the app when they’re asleep. Great item.

Look at settings carefully!
I purchased this light bulb when I got my google nest for Christmas. Initial set up was a bit difficult as I had to look at a few youtube videos to work out where I was going wrong (when I learnt about the different wifi types). Once it was first set up it worked beautifully with no issues at all, whether that was on the app or to do with the google recognition. I live between two houses so often find when I come back to the house that I have the google / lightbulb in it will nearly always disconnected. The app for the lightbulb will always say offline and I have to go through the process of removing it from the device / google and reloading on again, this was not an issue to start of with because once I knew how to do it, it would only take a matter of minutes. However, this weekend I came back and tried to pair it again and it would not work, I looked at the lightbulb, tried re-adding it and the 2 minute connection time ran over. It was only after looking at the settings on the app in further detail did I realise it had come off AAP control. I went through the steps of connecting to the wifi and again to the app, going through the process this time instead of a fast blinking light was a more subtle on and off, it re-added the device in about 30 seconds with no issues at all. Connecting the bulb this way took me to the settings on my iphone to connect to both bluetooth and wifi – hopefully this helps!
