Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander with Built-In Dust Extraction System
The BO5041 has a 300 watt motor, constant speed under load and variable electronic speed control to deliver 4,000 up to 12,000 opm and 8,000 up to 24,000 spm for faster sanding and a smooth finish.
It has an adjustable front handle to allow for sanding in corners and confined areas, a large two finger trigger switch with conveniently located lock on button for continuous use and pad control system for controlled pad speed upon start up.
High capacity dust collecting system with a built in vacuum port adaptor. The Sander is double insulated for operator safety.

Great tool. Battery version would be easier to use but this is a cost effective optio
With the right abrasive (Trend – no others are worth bothering with, including Makita’s own) this will munch through wood at lower grades and higher speeds, and soften it down to a sweet smoothness once you get up to around 280 grit.
You can feel the power when you turn it on, and you can dial it up or down as required.
Essential piece of kit for hand finishing, highly recommended.
USED ON WOODEN GARAGE DOORS TO STRIP OLD PAINT AND ABSOLUTELY BREEZED THROUGH.
I HAD CONFIDENCE IN THIS FROM THE OFF . QUALITY MOULDEN PLASTIC NOT THE CHEAP BRITTLE STUFF.
EVEN THE POWERCABLE WHICH FEEL LIKE IT IS RUBBERISED IS QUITE SUBSTANTIAL.
CRUCIALLY THE MOTOR PERFORMED WELL WITH 2.5 HRS NON STOP USAGE.
NO ISSUES VERY PLEASED SO FAR.
Par contre le produit est vendu sans coffret, juste un emballage carton et honntement la ponceuse n’tait pas neuve. Elle n’a certainement jamais servie mais elle est arrive salie (poussire colle), pour un produit vendu neuf c’est moyen.

Ich hatte schon echt viele Exzenterschleifer, aber dieser von Makita ist einfach der beste. Vibrationsarm, leise (im Verhltnis gesehen), guter Abtragsleistung und guter Klett am Schleifteller.
Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das – fast schon lcherlich kurze Stromkabel. Das sollte mindestens 3 besser 4 Meter sein. Hier ist es unter 2 Meter. Ohne Verlngerungskabel geht da wirklich nichts.

I was surprised how well this works. Very little vibration so your hand does not get tired. The first task I used it for was to sand off a varnish / paint from a chair. I expected the abrasive paper to clog up quickly but it didn’t. I only had to change paper when it finally wore out. Very pleased with it.
Tuve una lijadora del mismo tipo e idnticas funciones. No era marca blanca pero tampoco de las ms reputadas como Makita/Dewalt… El salto de calidad se ha notado. Se aprecia un motor que tiene que hacer menos esfuerzo para lo mismo, tiene menos vibraciones y la recoleccin de polvo funciona mejor.
Acoplndole un aspirador mejora an ms, pero atencin, es interesante hacer agujeros en el adaptador para reducir la succin, ya que si no hace que la herramienta se pegue a la madera como una lapa y es como si estuvieses haciendo presin. Eso fuerza el motor y acorta su vida til.
