Great bit of kit , i use it all day as a carpente
Great saw. Quality build, accurate, batteries lasts all day with a pair of 5 amps. Generally used for 2nd fixing. Can be quickly set up for small jobs. Very happy
Excellent mitre saw , battery life is amazing , and works really well . No problems at all
What a machine ,I’ve been looking for one of these for awhile, but had chosen to wait for the Bluetooth version so it would work in conjunction with my Makita 36v Dust extractor ,but I could wait no longer & brought this one.
I’ve only s/fixed 3 houses with it so far & these are my thoughts so far
It is brilliant on batterys I’m using 6.AH & It cut all the arch & skirts on a 11 door 3bed house & I still had 3 bars of battery left
This has Much better build quality then my last Makita 110v chop saw ( ie Less slop on the base)
Takes up a lot less space in my van compare to my last chopsaw
This is a lot quieter on my last chopsaw
The only negative that I have found so far are
The blade is only 190mm ,Which is a problem when you are cutting pig ear handrail
The base is quite small so not as sturdy as my Previous Makita chop saw,But this is not a problem if mounted on stand.
Great saw well worth getting unfortunately Amazon are asking too much for this at 927 I went somewhere else and paid 552
Brilliant tool.
Light to carry.
Makita as always. The best.
Been useing them for 35 years. +.
