DPT353Z 18V Li-ion LXT Pin Nailer – No batteries included
The DPT353Z cordless Pin Nailer is powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included).
The nose tip has been designed for better visibility, for quick and easy access to the desired firing point on the workpiece and low reaction force mechanism enables easier nailing of long pins. The contact arm mechanism enables “continuous nailing” and “drag nailing”.
The DPT353Z has a spring loaded driving mechanism, nails can be fired in the groove of baseboard and a tool-less depth adjustment for precise flush and countersink finish. There is a “view” window for the user to check the number of remaining pin nails.
The DPT353Z features anti dry-fire mechanism, prevents the driving of blanks and any damage to the work surface, battery fuel gauge to indicate the battery charge level, trigger lock to prevent accidental start up and LED job light to illuminate the work area.

Brought for my son, he is very happy with it.
Honestly was quite surprised with how well this works, wasn’t expecting great things but was pleasantly surprised.
Had a job fitting oak 4mm x 15mm trim, i new my paslode 16g pin gun would split it nearly every pin. I Used 18mm pins in the Makita and shot every one fine . I was a bit wary about buying this after seeing so many bad reviews although Most reviews seem to be from America where they’ve been using a cheap brand of pins( Porter cable) . On Makitas website they sell two different types of pins one for airguns and one for cordless, I would presume they’re both the same, although the pins for the cordless cost twice as much. If they don’t break the shaft I will pay the extra! Fantastic tool so far not needed as much as my 16g tool but for small trim I wished I’d brought it years ago. You can only just see the pin whole

It’s a bit heavy and the pins are a bit thin but for finishing results its worthit.
