It cuts like butter. It leaves little crest moon pieces. No big deal. It goes right over the ridges.
Makita has always made a decent tool, but lately they’ve been above the rim with their product line. This item is no exception. Very good quality, exceptional ergonomics and general ease of use make this very effective tool worth purchasing.
This bubbler is an absolute must have if you’re cutting metal. I’ve done two houses and a pole barn with it. Definitely worth every penny.
It takes a few minutes to get used to the cutting action of the tool but after a few cuts it’s second nature any angle cuts or crosscuts on metal panels make this tool worth every single penny you’ll spend on it.
I purchased a pre fabricated steel building and had to cut the sheet metal to fit the frame. This tool paid for it self the first day of use. As fun as making a ton of cuts with tin snips, this tool saved me hours of time no doubt. It’s also fairly easy to use.
I used this nibbler to cut 150′ of metal roofing. It performed flawlessly. Much easier and safer than using tin snips.
I recommend wearing ear plugs, gloves and safety glasses when using this tool. It punches out small moon shape cuttings that can be swept up or picked up with a magnet.
Tolles Werkzeug, nach ein paar Proben hat man sich daran gewhnt. Geht schneller als mit der Flex und es gibt keine Grate am Blech. 0,75er Blech, Doppellagig kein Problem.
Good value for a hobbyist, easy to use and worth the $ for those tricky angles.
We needed a replacement nipper as don as possible when ours quit working! I ordered this one and it was here within 2 days, brand new sealed and we were able to finish cutting the sheet metal for our house! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!
It did the job I bought it for (re-siding and roofing a small shed), but cutting a straight line does take some practice and the cord requires a lot of wrangling to keep it away from the cut edge and out from under foot.
Overall it worked fine, but if this is a tool you intend to use a lot, I would recommend looking at a cordless model.
Finally spent the money to get a steel nibbler after years of building pole barns and hand cutting the steel with snips. Won’t go back, this tool does clean angle cuts, circular cuts and straight cuts in seconds. Still would recommend a drill-mount shear or other shear for long vertical cuts, but this leaves nearly no burrs, and a strong roller magnet easily picks up all the crescent moon pieces this tool spits out. Wish I had this years ago. Recommended.
If your working with corrugated metal, this is a must have tool.
Husband bought this and im going to assume since he didn’t cuss and throw it across the shop calling it a piece of….crap that it must work well. Otherwise, he’d be throwing a fit wanting me to send it back.
I stumbled onto this item by chance. I use it to cut back metal roofs. I use to use electric shears which never left a clean finish. This is amazing nice clean finish looks like factory finish. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this.
I bought this to do a sheet metal building refurbish after a fire and it works great. Such a time and labor saver over tin snips of any kind. Once I got the hang of using it, I just cut through panel after panel of tuff rib sheet metal and got my work done in short order. The price was also very reasonable compared to others on the market.
Doveo rivolgermi ad un taglio laser 3D , invece lavoro fatto eccellente.
