UR3000 240V Electric Linetrimmer
Compact and lightweight with loop handle.
The UR3000 has a powerful 450 watt motor to deliver up to 9,000 rpm. It has a rigid aluminium, telescopic pipe shaft with adjustable loop handle.
The motor head rotates 180 degrees for edge trimming. The lock off lever prevents accidental start up.
The spool assembly is equipped with metal bump feed button for wear resistance, is easy to attach / remove and easy to rewind. Dual cord cutting and double insulated.

Make sure the spool is connected before use
After assembling the trimmer I turned it on and the spool suddenly sprung off and disappeared into various parts of the garden. Not all bits were found, but the suppliers offered to send a replacement spool. Moral of the story – check the spool has been fitted correctly when it arrives and don’t just assume it has bee

Das Gert ist einfach zu bedienen. Insbesondere die einfache Weise den Schnittkopf zu verdrehen ist sehr einfach und gut gelst. Ansonsten ein ganz normaler Rasentrimmer .

This is more expensive than most corded strimmers but worth it. Solid construction with good adjustments and ease of use. Cuts well and beats most of the battery powered strimmers for capability but obviously not for manouverability.

Wir hatten vorher einen Trimmer aus einem Discounter. Dieser hatte uns treue Dienste geleistet, bis uns die Halterung fr die Spule aus Plastik kaputt gegangen ist. Nun haben wir uns fr das teuere Modell entschieden, in der Hoffnung das weniger Plastik verarbeitet wurde. Schon beim auspacken ist aufgefallen wie schwer und massiv das Gert ist. Dafr gibt es schon mal 2 Sterne. Fr die Verarbeitung gibt es auch einen Stern. Das Gert ist Hhen verstellbar und hat einen Schulter Tragegurt. Somit verteilt sich das Gewicht auf den Krper gleichmig. Hier bei dem Gert war auch eine Schutzbrille beigelegt. Geruschpegel ist normal. Genau wie bei unserem Gert aus dem Discounter. Alles im allen ein gutes Gert. Nun hoffen wir nur noch das man den Faden ganz normal kaufen kann und nicht wie frher warten musste, bis das der Discounter im Sortiment hatte. In unserer Anwendung hat sich der Trimmer locker durch hohes Gras (50 cm) geschnitten.

Chiaramente per giardini di piccole dimensioni, col filo di diametro 1,65 mm. non per lavori impegnativi. Per il mio giardino basta e avanza.

Ich habe ein wenig gezgert den Trimmer zu bestellen, da doch recht viele Leute rger mit den Schnren gemeldet hatten. Deshalb habe ich einmal Kontakt mit Makita aufgenommen und die Probleme vorgetragen. Man hat umgehend geantwortet und zwar dahin gehend das manche Nutzer den Trimmer mit einer Motorsense verwechseln.
Kein Mensch sollte erwarten, das ein Rasentrimmer es mit einer Brombeer Hecke aufnehmen sollte!
Also bestellt und geliefert. Getestet und fr hervorragend befunden. Kraftvoll, etwas laut, die mitgelieferte (!) Schutzbrille ist kein Witz sondern sehr ntzlich. Eine feste Hose und Stiefel sind auch angesagt, denn der Trimmer haut richtig was weg! Die Verarbeitung finde ich sehr gut. Ein Tragegurt ist ebenfalls dabei. Einmal eingestellt kann man sehr entspannt “trimmen”.
Wrde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Very good strimmer, cut through my quite thing grass with ease, I like the neck/shoulder strap which you can use, the item isn’t heavy but it was a nice touch.

Seal was broken and box damaged and open on arrival. Used once and found it very good for strimming and edging. No line breaks at all. It’s a bit on the heavy side but once the shoulder strap (not mentioned in sales addvert) was fitted it became a lot lighter.

Il prodotto ottimo. l’ho utilizzato per pulire una piccola aiuola pubblica con l’erba molto alta. il filo si consuma molto ma con il pratico sistema che lo fa uscire automaticamente tutto procede. Unico neo veniale, la chiusura della cinghia che si posiziona a tracolla. Ha molto gioco e quindi non si chiude bene e si stacca mentre si lavora. Peccato perch “cadere” un accessorio del valore di pochi centesimi di euro fatto male proprio “stupido”.
Had 2 stroke trimmers in past the last one was beyond servicing so thought I would try this ..makita I thought are good make it’s about half the price of petrol version..result was it strips really well it is a fraction of weight so is so much easier to use ..if you have electric supply anywhere close to lawn this is too for you

This product has 2 line spools on the list of items provided. A second spool was not provided. To me that was important as the line spool is quite small and it is useful to have a second spool ready when the other runs out.

The box it arrived in was really beaten up…. however its a great piece of kit… i will probably get thicker cord for it after i use up the spool thats on there… however it cut through a pretty overgrown garden really well.. its only a small step down from a small 4 stroke strimmer .. definitely recommend it to anyone who is using it for home… not quite powerful for commercial use

Der macht alles weg, was dem Faden im Weg ist. Manchmal reit ein Faden, dann mu man fummeln bis alles wieder betriebsbereit ist. Der Fadenverbrauch ist fr mich normal bezogen auf den Verbrauch meiner frheren Trimmer.

Fazit: ich wrde das Gert nochmal kaufen.

La he comprado para una finca de casi 600m2, me ha sorprendido mucho, buen corte, mucha potencia y muy ligera, la recomiendo para fincas o jardines mas pequeos, lo nico que no me convence es el arnes muy sencillo y poco cmodo, vine igual como en la foto, es ajustable en altura y vine con gafas protectoras.

Ich habe mit dem Teil alles an Unkraut niedergemetzelt, was sich im Garten so breit gemacht hatte. Toll! Ich bin begeistert und wrde den Trimmer jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Die Makita, der Rasentrimmer ist sein Geld Wert gewesen und macht das was er soll. Eben Makita ,mit Schutzbrille und Tragegurt sollte man auch nutzen um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.

Il mio primo taglia bordi elettrico, quindi non posso paragonare. Molto bello, leggero e potente, il filo che lavorando vicino al muro si consuma notevolmente ( forse troppo). Fa il suo lavoro e sembra un attrezzo valido, ideale per metratura piccole.
La spedizione ( nota dolente):
per la prima volta nn arrivato nella data stabilita ma 6 giorni dopo, il pacco era integro ma chiuso con dello scotch diverso dal resto del pacco, dentro nessun problema.
