Martindale VT28 Two Pole Voltage and Continuity Tester with LCD Display, Yellow
VT28 Two Pole Voltage and Continuity Tester with LCD Display
The Martindale VT28 is a tough, compact two pole tester with both LCD and LED displays for measuring AC/DC voltages from 12V to 690V. Additional capabilities include continuity and phase rotation testing plus single pole voltage detection.
The large digit LCD display of the VT28 gives actual voltage readings in addition to the LED voltage ranges. The AC/DC voltage detection, continuity and phase rotation functions all have bright LED indication. Auto power-off ensures a long battery lifetime.
The voltage indicator conforms to the latest safety standards and includes removable probe caps for GS38 compliance. Additional safety features include a double insulated 1.2m cable with a black outer and contrasting inner core to give a visual warning of damage.
A built-in white LED torch makes it easy to use in low light environments.

Unlike a standard volt meter, these automatically switch from voltage to continuity.
And of course you only need 2 hands, no more hanging up a meter while using both hands for your probes.
I paid the extra for the actual voltage display as well as the strip of lights.
The only down side for me is, the buzzer will sound for continuity, but does not display and resistance.
I was a bit worried about the reviews where people cannot get the batteries out easily.
Trust me it really is simple, put a coin or suitable screwdriver in the slot and twist.
Twist a little more and the little cap raises up.
The slight resistance to pull it right out, is from a small o ring.
The o ring just keeps it to it’s IP Rating.
Easy to use superd love it I know it is a little more expensive but well well worth i
Clear display and good audible alert. Great for price as it can be used to check phase rotation.
