Ordered June, 2021. On Nov2. said put sd card in and camera and I did but it still did not detect sd card. Contacted Meidase and we worked back and forth. They replaced camera and I had in three days, they were great. I have had 8 other brands of cameras and Meidase is the best of them. I presently have 15 working, and this was first problem with any.
using about 2-3 months with real AAA batteries works great nice video and audio quality bought used one with 32 gb it has a super motion detection day n night easy menu and easy to hide anywhere in outdoo

This works better than my more expensive CamPark brand game camera. Takes clearer pictures at night, and the batteries last longer by comparison. I would buy this brand again.

I own several well known, “budget minded” trail cameras and they all take okay pics and video. I can usually make out the deer, coyote, sometimes a turkey or racoon, if they were close. I was never really satisfied, so I read a few reviews and decided to try this one, and I’m glad I did. Pics and video are better than any of my other cameras. The trigger distance is unbelievable. I have a clear night time video of a racoon triggering at about 30 yds. So here is my only complaint. I’ve only owned this camera for less than 2 weeks and its been mounted at my treestand 5 days. When I saw the results I decided I would get another, but now the same camera has more than doubled in price.
We put corn out for the daytime ducks, but in the morning the corn is not there. This camera exposed the night time snacker to be a deer.
Everything about this trail cam met our expectations. A very good product.
So far I have no complaints with the quality and performance of the camera.

This camera is awesome and a great price! I bought it for my fianc not knowing anything about hunting cameras but it’s so simple! You can view the pictures on the camera or put the SD card in a computer and look at them. Takes great pictures as well! You do not have to be tech savvy to work it. I HIGHLY recommend.
I wouldn’t buy any other kind. I have bought 3 of these. I have it set on snapshot and then short video. I use the batteries it recommends and they last for months. My neighbors dogs were tearing up my car and I needed to prove it. It got them on video. I love this .

Hands down best trail camera on the market for the price from tigger speeds to quality of picture to battery life this is hands down the best camera I own I now have 3 of them I have used everything from spy point to wild game to muddy cell cams and this camera right here is one of my absolute favorites the picture quality is off the charts as well as the trigger speed would 10/10 recommend
So I got 8 of these cameras on a whim, heard some of my outfitter buddies didn’t like them. They do decent work for a great price. Quality is good. Get a bigger sd card and you’ll be in good shape. I use 32 gb. Distance over 30 ft gets a little blurry but you still get good pictures. 4.5/5 rating for sure. Only downside you have to go out and retrieve them.
Easy to setup and review images. Video and photos are very good quality.
FYI…..The nominal working voltage of the 2020 SL122 Upgraded camera is 12 VDC. Therefore, it requires all eight batteries to be inserted into the battery compartment. Have not had a chance to set it up and see the results. Initial impressions are good. Will be setting this up as a security camera, not for hunting as a field camera. Will followup at a later date with an updated review.
Pretty descent for the price. My screen glitched out after 5 weeks in the woods and they sent me a replacement under warranty.
Batteries last a loooong time which is great because it takes 8 AA batteries.

The attached video is captured at night. As you can see the detail is very clear. I own three of the SL122 Meidase cameras and two newer version. I like the fact you can capture a still shot and video together. The battery life is good but length depends on activity and number of flashes required. I would recommend purchasing this camera.
This is an excellent trail camera for the price. I purchased two of these for deer hunting this year. Thy produce excellent photos and video during the day and at night. The motion detector didn’t pick-up everything for video, but by keeping the camera on photo/video, I did pick-up everything I needed. Definitely worth the money and will be buying a few more!

This camera, for what I am using it for works well for me. Its easy to operate. I turn it on, enter my pass code, it gives me 15 seconds to set it up before it starts snapping images. I have had it for a while now with no issues. The batteries last a while. I have had the same batteries in it for 6 months.
I was happy about how simple it was to set up the camera and that the quality of the photos is good. I have it set up by my apple trees waiting to catch the bear that broke off a lot of the branches of the trees a couple of years ago. So far, deer, raccoon, squirrels, birds, and a coyote, but no bear. Daytime photos are captured in full color and night time images are black and white.
First it is very easy to use, and takes nice night pictures and videos. It is enough reliable. I put this in the woods. Had several strong rains, but this cam still works very well. Thank you for your good product.

Please make sure the sd card was formatted in the camera before using.
I used a scandisk class10 32gb sd card, it seems very good.
The only reason the camera received 4 instead of 5 is the simple fact it wasn’t sent with a camera card. Please make it clearer in the description that it doesn’t come with a camera card, that will give the buyer the opportunity to buy one before the camera is delivered.
Overall, we are pleased with the camera.

I bought one of these cameras a year ago, and have purchased 4 more since. In the past i have used stealth cam, cuddeback, bushnell and browning cams. This meidase trail cam is a steal for the price. My other trail cams can’t even compare to this one. The customer service is excellent, I had a question which was promptly responded to in one day (thanks Robert). Plan on buying more in the future.

So far it’s a great camera. Pictures look really good and it’s easy to set up and use. I have not put it outside for an extended time yet. It don’t like that it takes 8 AA batteries but hopefully they will last. Great camera though so far.
Have used this several nights watching the hen house. Photo quality after dark is fair, at best.
Got it to replace older camera for hunting. I like the quicker speed,and the no-glow for night pictures.
Admittedly, this is my first trail camera but I just love it!! I have it set to take a picture and short video and managed to get over 1000 files in 2 weeks. I had no idea I had so many deer coming through!! Most of them were at night and the photos are very clear. I’ll be getting additional ones to put in other locations!! I highly recommend this camera.
