To perfectly prepare a variety of coffee specialities you need a selection of different coffee beans. This is why the CI has a two-chamber bean container ‘Bean Select’. Whether you would like a café crème in the morning or an Espresso after dinner: by simply switching between fine mild coffee beans or aromatic strong espresso beans in the separate chambers you get the right coffee beans for your favourite coffee. The additional ground coffee chute also allows you to use pre-ground coffee.

Die Maschine ist aus unserer Sicht absolut perfekt. Sie ist leicht zu bedienen und zu reinigen. Die (Kaffee-)Qualitt lsst nichts zu wnschen brig. Sehr zu empfehlen.
Cafetera superautomatica muy recomendable. Cafs, espumadora, limpieza, todo por el momento perfecto despus de unos 700 cafs hechos.
Recomendable tener una rutina de limpieza adecuada para que la mquina est como el primer da.
Ruido y tiempo de precalentamiento correctos. Consumo de agua elevado en la lnea de este tipo de mquinas.
Varios perfiles y parmetros personalizables.
La recomiendo.
Das ist bereits unsere zweite Melitta CI. Die erste hatte damals ca. 1300 Euro gekostet. Nach etwa 5 Jahren ist die erste in die Jahre gekommen und der Kaffee schmeckte nicht mehr so wie er soll. Sie steht heute bei meiner Schwester und luft noch immer. Damit drfte sie jetzt so ca. 10 Jahre alt sein. Wir hatten anschlieen eine gnstigere Krups und DeLongi und zuletzt eine Siemens die heute etwas teurer ist als die Melitta CI. Keine von denen kann der Melitta das Wasser reichen in Kaffeegeschmack und auch Geruch nach der Zubereitung. Diese Maschine macht wirklich einen verdammt guten Kaffee. Reinigen lsst sie sich auch wie jede andere Maschine. Wir knnen die Melitta nur empfehle
Well it broke – but after 12,000 odd cups (see picture) – it was so good I bought another. I could probably get it fixed for 150 but it is quite old for a home bean to cup machine – 5 1/2 years. My previous De Longhi didn’t last anywhere near as long.
The only criticism I have is that the oilier type beans don’t always slide down the somewhat shallow angle of the bean container – you have to give them a prod before you start or else it stops and says ‘Refill beans’.
As someone else said on here, use Sainsburys Continental Roast beans (now unfathomably called After Dinner beans – I always drink mine at breakfast – is this a Brexit related name change?). I tried many more expensive ones but none are as good as Sainburys.
This machine is great. It takes the fuss and bother out of having a brilliant coffee at home. No grinding, no frothing, no fuss!!! Just tell it what you want and push the button. The hardest thing you need to do is choose your beans. I had a pod machine before and liked cappuccino so tried to find beans to match Ethiopia type does this I found. Before long my taste in coffee was going wild, add a little more milk…froth…water…stronger flavor to the same beans.. the choice is endless but as I said NO fuss.
It also gives the impression that it will last and last.
Bad point? It needs emptying quite often. Is that bad? I dont think so, it cleans itself and tells you when to add cleaning chemicals and then takes you through the process step by step on screen. Its fool proof.

Dass diese Kaffeemaschine selbst extrem viel Leistung fr den Preis bietet, wurde hier und in diversen Testberichten ja bereits ausgiebig geschildert. Dazu ergnzen mchte ich meine Erfahrungen mit dem Melitta Kundenservice: Nachdem bei meiner Caffeo nach ca. 12.500 Bezgen die ersten Zipperlein sich eingestellt hatten (Kaffeebohnen rutschten nicht nach), hatte nach kurzer Unterhaltung mit dem Kundenservice und ersten Selbsthilfe-Massnahmen mit der Kundenservice gegen eine Reparatur-Pauschale die Behebung des Problems angeboten (oder alternativ ein vergnstigtes Neumodell). Ich wollte mich noch nicht von meiner Maschine verabschieden, da ich mit dem Kaffee und Cappuccino sehr zufrieden war, und habe die Reparatur in Anspruch genommen. Kurz danach schickte Melitta mir einen Versandkartons nebst DHL Aufkleber, damit ich das Gert einschicken konnte. Sehr komfortabel. Nach kurzer Zeit kam das Gert repariert, vollends gereinigt und entkalkt zurck. Dann ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Milchschumer nicht mehr so tollen Milchschaum wie zu Beginn produziert hatte. Erneute Mail an den Melitta Service, Versandkartons kam 2 Tage spter (ohne erneut eine Reparaturpauschale zu verlangen), Gert Montags eingeschickt, Freitags wieder tip top zurck bekommen.
Ich freue mich riesig – ber den top Kundenservice, und dass ich noch weiterhin viel Freude an meiner liebgewonnenen Caffeo haben werde. So bin ich schon lange nicht mehr berrascht worden – herzlichen Dank an den Melitta Service!
Una cafetera increble, con dos compartimentos para caf y otro para caf en polvo, que yo por ejemplo uso para hacerme el caf descafeinado, sinceramente despus de mucho buscar modelos , esta cafetera se lleva el premio, la compre como nueva , por 320 pero al aplicar el 30% se me quedo en un poco ms de 200 , y vino literalmente nueva a estrenar, solo la caja vena muy tocada, pero hasta el filtro del agua estaba si. Abrir , recomiendo esta cafetera.
Caf de 10 y muy barato si lo comparamos con las cpsulas, por no hablar de la calidad del caf .
