A great machine with great features. You get what you pay for. very easy to use and I don’t have to rinse the dishes to the desired outcome like my previous machine. The automatic door open feature guarantees a fully dried dishes every time. It looked smaller from the inside when I first opened it but in fact it took a lot more than any previous one which was the same size. Highly recommended.
Looks like Miele don’t make these in Germany any more (according to the label on the side of the door). The Amazon delivery was only ok; I wasn’t that impressed by the way the machine was spun around on the tiles in my porch… caused them to be scuffed a little. I did the installation and that was fine. Unusually the water inlet hose looks like a chunky flexible waste output hose and has a huge electrically operated box/valve at the end that you connect to your water supply…I had to enlarge a hole in the cabinet side wall to accomodate this. The manual is a bit vague, but ours did NOT come with an external in-line single return valve for the water supply; pity as our previous Miele washing machine did. In use the machine is quieter than our 2002 AEG dishwasher. When a cycle ends the dishwasher opens the door to assist drying. The instructions aren’t much help here… turns out that you just pull hard on the door to properly open it and then the arm that has pushed the door partially open retracts itself. I suspect pushing the door closed will break the arm. None of this is obvious but thankfully there are many videos on YouTube addressing this shortcoming in the instructions. The instructions do suggest using salt and rinse aid but give no advice on whether and/or how to accomodate all-in-one dishwasher tablets… despite including a sample pack of Miele all-in-one tablets with the machine. Does feel well built and so far the washes seem good.
We have had a dishwasher for well over 30 years we brought a Candy 18 months ago bad does not describe it. So this time we read the reviews and took the plunge, We love it yes, it’s a dishwasher but it is so good it quite fast and is easy to load and unload Amazon did the install that was also very good quick and easy. So i know they are not cheap but you get what you pay for quality and it clean the dishes first time we are very happy with ours and …..
