I purchased the controller as the original controller suddenly stopped working after 6 years – displaying the “control out of range symbol”. On receipt I followed the instructions for connecting a second wireless controller and hey presto it worked first time. A little more expensive that I thought it should be (hence the 4 stars) but definately cheaper than arranging a service/repair visit.
Using instructions book said press start & + till the word END comes up didn’t So turned off at mains power as switch is in the attic switch main back on The control box makes makes a wirling sound press start on control Bingo connected the word END appears set time temp as instructions in book
Needed this as replacement controller, arrived quickly, does the job.

Not sure why the original unit failed, but this replacement was easy to install and worked ‘out of the box’. Curiously, it has a sealed battery compartment, which the original did not.
