We have had 3 monitors, the BT6000 one, which was appalling despite the good reviews (terrible battery life and absolutely pointless picture quality) a BabySense one, great battery life but the signal quality meant it would cut out every few seconds, and this one. The Moonybaby montior is the only one fit for purpose, it gives you a good picture of your nursery, even including a wide angled lense for free, and great battery Signal is flawless. Don’t waste your money on other baby monitors, buy this one.

We have this and the BT 6000 for our two kids – this one is much better quality, much hardier and just generally BETTER. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

Ordered this when we were having our second child as I wanted to be able to see both at the same time. I ordered 5 different baby monitors with 2 cameras and none of them ticked all this boxes until I found this one. You can have the monitor showing just one camera or both in split screen mode. When in split screen you can put it in audio scan mode where the sound switches from one camera to the next every 10 seconds. This is a fab feature as most split screen cameras only play the audio on one camera and not the other. Eco mode works well and the monitor kicks back in when noise is detected. Pan and tilt is a great feature and you get wide lenses in the box which shows the whole room, again another great addition.

Overall I’m really pleased with this camera and its by far the best we tried. The only slight negatives are that the battery life isn’t the longest I’ve seen, although saying that its not run out of battery on me yet and I just put it on charge overnight. There is a slight delay in the talk back function but not enough to be a problem. The screen is good quality although not as perfect as some other HD models, however it is more than clear enough.

Overall I’d highly recommend for those that have 2 children!

    Great baby monito

Edit: updated to 5 stars after recent experience with customer service. I have now had the monitor over a year and I was having issues with getting the monitor to charge. I emailed the Gmail email for moonybaby and they have replaced the monitor with absolutely no issues at all. Couldn’t praise the customer service high enough.

The best thing about this product is the camera quality, the picture I have added doesn’t do it much justice (it doesn’t photo well). I can see if my babies eyes are open or closed in the pitch black pretty clearly so it’s definitely got a good camera. I like that the camera can be moved from the monitor that was one of the main reasons I went for this one and that does work great. I do like the split screen with the two cameras, I recon this will come in handy more once baby can move about more.

The downsides are most of the rest of the features lack in quality. The microphone is really bad, you cannot make out what the person talking into it is saying at all! We tried different volume levels and different distances from our mouth when talking to see if there was a ‘sweet spot’ and there just isn’t, it’s clearly and incredibly cheap microphone that has been used, the noise that comes out of it could potentially give children nightmares it’s just that illegible. The other thing that isn’t great is the temperature, you can see in my picture one of the thermometers has actually broken after about a month (showing 0), I bought a groegg to monitor the temperature in the room as I wasn’t too trusting of the temperature shown on the camera and I have found the camera tempatures to be not too off but can be off by about 2 degrees Celsius compared to the groegg which is definitely the more accurate reading. The lullabies are OK, they sound a bit tinny but I use something else for white noise so I don’t really use them at all. I would say the lullabies are usable though probably with the volume turned down (which can be done in the menu settings). The nightlight settings is pretty low it doesn’t really give off much light at all, I would consider it more of a make the camera look cool than an actual nightlight.

I can’t say too much about the battery life as I do like to have the volume up which uses the battery up quicker but I just plug it in, that doesn’t really bother me as I’m not using it for any long periods of time really as baby is still on my bedroom.

I got this product on an Amazon day deal and got the second camera free on the deal also, I recon I would be pretty annoyed if I paid full price for this plus the camera but since I got the whole lot for about 65 I’m not too fussed as at least the camera is really good quality.

Great camera quality, great customer service

Bought this to upgrade from our old, tiny-screened one. Has a really good battery life in the screen which is important. Night light is helpful for nappy changes (not very bright so doesn’t wake up baby and can be in red so doesn’t disrupt melatonin levels) my only negative is that the lullabys play far too loudly even on volume 1 but we don’t use them anyway. A different review said you can’t mute this fully but we have found you can actually. Overall very happy. We have two cameras but only use one at a time so can’t comment on split-screen just yet.
