Absolutely brilliant iron. I can’t say that it’s made ironing any more enjoyable, but it’s definitely made ironing easier.

Really pleased with my purchase, so far. It is easy to use, does a good job on the clothes I’m ironing. Easy to refill with water. Haven’t had it long enough yet to see if it scales up quickly and how easy it is to descale.

Didn’t look at any other makes or models as I didn’t think anything could match it..
Unfortunately the first one I received the water just poured from the iron itself. I contacted amazon who then contacted the seller on my behalf, we had a 3 way conversation trying to troubleshoot.
It was soon clear that it wasn’t something I could do myself. Morphy Richards sanctioned a return/replacement.
Amazon acted immediately sending returns label and where to take it, and the next day my new iron arrived which is working perfectly. I’d highly recommend this make/model.
This is the best iron I’ve ever used. Initially i felt it might be too lightweight but it’s a total joy to use. There’s nothing that it does iron well …I love it and highly recommend it. And a great price 5*’s

Very well made I’ve, had the 1st gen steam generator and this is simply very far in front of it on another plus is the fact I don’t have to remove limescale and mess about with it anymore, it also doesn’t leak like the 1st gen onto your clothes

The iorn itself is a lot lighter than I had anticipated. Easy to use still discovering how things oporate but overall a great bit of kit.

Bought this to replace my previous steam generator iron which only lasted for two years! Four stars because the sole plate drags a little whilst ironing. Still pretty pleased with its performance so far though. Time will tell!
I shouldn’t be reviewing this as I don’t iron. Wife absolutely loves it. Iron is light weight so does not strain wrist but irons perfectly.
If wife is happy ironing I am happy to buy it for her.

1. Brilliant pressure – some cheaper ones look the same but check the power on the others before buying as it makes a difference.
2. You can use this like a dry cleaner, for jumpers, suits and shirts you can steam it on hanger and just watch the creases fall out which increases the life of the clothing.
3. You actually enjoy ironing!

This is a fantastic iron – really really good – I had bought a Tefal one but had to return as it was very disappointing but to be fair Amazon offered me a replacement – I decided to return and purchase this one instead and I’m so happy I did
Like a steam gun! Ironing takes only a few seconds now! Glides right over and takes out any creases. 3 steam settings, however you need to use the correct water. I use reverse osmosis water. You will not be disappointed in this iron.
Great iron with easy filling and emptying. My last iron had automatic temperature so this is the only thing missing. I have to remember to change the temperature.
Brilliant product just make sure you read the manual it comes with. Effort less ironing. The steam just keeps coming. Brilliant for dry cleaning and getting stains out.
I have always wanted a steam generator but was very unsure, I iron for customers as part of my business and I can honestly say it is so fast and easy to iron. Only down side is the cable gets hot so keep arms out of reach !

My first steam iron and it was a great choice. I only use it for my bigger loads once a week which have become a lot easier. Descaling is very easy.

I had bought the older version of this steam generator about 8 years ago. It finally gave up the ghost recently,after a lot of use, so knowing that this iron was a good one,I purchased the newer version. I love the fact that it’s is self de scaling,. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Bought to replace an aging Swan steam generator iron which was throwign our limescale all over our clothes.
This one has much more power and a built-in limescale removal tool. Early days but no complaints!

Not as noisy as our previous Morphy Richards. Self clean seems pretty good and can see the operate water section easily. very easy to fill. Even on level 1 steam, gets creases out easily

This is my second steam generator in 6years.My first one was by Asda which was good for the money.But the Morphy Richards steam Generator is fantastic (If you can say that about a iron)The only problem is you can’t see how much water you have put in the tank you have to hold it up to the light.But I definitely would recommend this Steam Generator to any one.
The lightweight iron glides with ease over clothes, whilst producing lots of steam, and Ironing time seems to be reduced.
I can most certainly recommend this iron.
No costly replaceable cartridges; quick (3 minutes) and automatic pain free descaling function; heats up from cold quickly (2 minutes) and [best of all] gives out plenty of steam for a long periods during ironing.
For this price range, which is where all my others have been – around the 150 mark – this trumps them all.
I should report, that it worked beautifully for me using the Polti Kalstop Anti-Scale Phails .
I found an easy method to decant the little 5ml plastic Phials into a small 10ml dropper bottle using these B00FPPDQHO Blue dropper bottles . I empties one into a single cute blue bottle that are supplied with a glass dropper.
You would need 1ml of concentrate per litre of water according to the instructions in my Polti manual.
My iron holds 2.2 litres. One full and loaded dropper holds approx. .5ml of concentrate (I measured this on my Heston Precision Scale .
Therefore I use a tad over 4 droppers full and proceed to squeeze it directly into my tank thus subtracting the need to prepare the anti-calc concentrate in a 5 litre water drum as some have done with my other iron.
Quick, easy and no scale!
This Steam Generator is a direct replacement of our old one we had for about 3 years. The reason for the replacement was a design fault which I hope has been resolved on this model, it was the out steam/power cables from the machine to the iron.
The power cable failed…due its use it must have worn out a power cable on its exit from the machine.
Be Warned…this is a failing of this machine, otherwise it does every thing it says on the can !!!!
