This is the third time I have had this particular iron. Just works so well
I have just renewed mine after 8 years. It is an excellent machine even if a bit on the heavy side for an older person like me Ibut I still find it a much bette
It’s OK but the soleplate doesn’t glide like my old one. It’ll do I suppose.
Update.
Returned item as couldn’t get used to it. Plus it started making a loud noise. Still waiting for refund.
I bought this iron to replace my old one which I’d had for about ten years. This one is lighter, easier to use and very effective. I was worried that it might be too big to sit on the end of my ironing board, but it fits a treat. I’m glad that I chose this model.
I like the possibility of having automatically set temperature or choosing the temperature. I find filling the water tank a bit difficul
With three women in the family and loads of ironing this Iron is effortless automatically keeps the right tempreture for differant fabrics – FIRST CLASS
It is exactly what I wanted. A removable water tank and soft gliding base plate
This is my third over the years happy with purchase
This works so well! I use it commercially to press holiday home linen and home laundry. It’s large water tank allows me to press for a good our or two before needing more water/steam. Usually eradicates stubborn creases and is delicate on soft fabrics.
Love this steam generator iron. It makes ironing a breeze
Good solid iron, works as well as the much more expensive models. The “intelligent” temperature setting function is a very good feature
Easy to use, easy to descale very good steam producing iron.
It holds more water than my last one. It glides nicely over the clothes.
I was unhappy that the box appeared to have been opened or been sent out previously and returned. When I’m paying almost 200 for something, I expect it to be in pristine condition.
* Excellent product*
Easy to use, quick to warm up, light,
Would definitely recommend
I was looking for a generator Iron that would not be heavy but managed to reduce my ironing time, this is Amazing, it’s a bit more expensive than I wanted to go but after reading the reviews I thought it was worth a try, I was definitely not disappointed. I had a shirt that was really creased and this ironed it beautifully, it has a fantastic steam pressure, the iron is surprisingly lightweight for the fantastic job it does, don’t hesitate, buy this iron I would be surprised if you were disappointed, I absolutely love this iron I am so glad I trusted the reviews from other purchasers.
The best iron I’ve ever used. It heats up quickly, irons so well, steam makes the creases disappear. Easy to add water. Nothing bad to say, it’s fab.
I had an option of buying the self-cleaning one because we live in a hard water area but to be honest this one had that functionality and it was 50 cheaper so I’m quite pleased with i
This product is Fantastic, very powerful. Makes short work of the ironing pile.
Also good for steaming shirts on a hanger that have mild creases from being hung in the wardrobe.
Highly Recommend.
bought to replace previous Morphy Richards steam generator works just as well water tank even bigger so far all ok
I like the safety lockets nice and light and very easy to use
Greatest iron I’ve ever used. We use a mix of de-ionised water and tap water to help prevent limescale.
Very quick to heat up and switches itself off you forget.
This is our fourth steam generator iron, we’ve had one Tefal and two Phillips. Overall this is quite a good machine, relatively straightforward to operate and produces a good level of steam. However it is let down by some small issues. The generator is quite high which means when the iron is sitting on the rest it’s high to use comfortably, to the degree that my shoulder aches after some time ironing. The temperature light is in the back of the hand grip so you can’t actually see it without twisting the iron around to face you. The way the sole plate is attached to the iron means when you iron back towards you the sole plate catches on any raised points like pockets. Apart from these points it’s OK and quite good value.
Bought to replace an earlier model and love that it is lighter to use with a good strong steam element.
I’d never had a steam generator iron before, so I looked at lots of reviews and irons before choosing this one. Yes, its a bit bulky compared to a standard iron because of the base so I needed to store it in a new place.
My family seem to generate a lot of ironing, and can easily do a 3 hour ironing session to get through it all! However with the new iron this time was greatly reduced as I mainly only have to iron one side of the garment now.
I also had to buy a new ironing board as my old one was unsuitable for a generator iron, so that also had to be stored in a new place as it was bigger than my old board and wouldn’t fit in the cupboard.
I would recommend this iron to anyone who was looking to purchase a generator iron.
Easy to use. Lightweight when actually ironing. Good size water tank. Much better results than conventional Steam iron.
Ok, reading the headline back that could be misconstrued as a sexist comment. However, it absolutely is not. Let me explain 🙂
My wife runs her own cleaning business, and part of the work she carries out for her clients is the laundry. She kept telling me, hinting, moaning, repetitively sharing constructive feedback that her iron was crap.
Being the dutiful caring husband that I am, I went about finding one that would be up to the task. Spent a good hour or so researching the different irons available, and settling on this one.
It was quite pricey compared to some irons that appear to do the same job, however after having owned this particular one for several months now I am happy to report my wife is over the moon with it.
It does an amazing job, isn’t hard on her wrist like the previous iron, and allows her to get through the huge piles of bedding, towels and everything else in much less time than it took before – definitely gets 5 stars from us, would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering buying it, was well worth the money! now, just need to find a better washer…
I had a Morphy Richards before, this one is very similar with slight modifications. easy to use and like the feel of the handle and holds more water then my previous one wich is a bonus. Only negative is the lead is not very long so have to use it quite close to my socket.
Brilliant iron. This is my 3rd one of the same make over 10 years and I iron non stop. LOVE IT. If I had a problem I would genuinely expect them to sort it as I am a great fan of this iro
Excellent ptoduct
Downside is that it breaks just after warranty has run out
Im on my fifth one
