Bought this product for my hair straighteners
It’s perfect. Arrived next day. Easy to use
Happy with my purchase
Does what it says on the box!
Plugged it in and got my American tool working, great.
Well worth the money..
The transformer is nicely presented and has the capability of converting from UK to USA voltages and vice- versa. It has an on off switch for the main power so no issue with plugging in directly to the mains power supply. The plugs connect on to the front face where there is also a voltage selector switch depending on input voltage. As easy to operate as possible and thus far is working well
This is the 3rd voltage convertor I bought on amazon.
It does the job. It works well as voltage convertor. No issue.
Reason I pulled 1 star is for design issue :
It is more bulky than the 2 other 500va models I own. Almost twice their size.
And more seriously, the 110v output looks close to the ground so if you connect a 3 pin US plug (no issue with a 2 pin) the cable pointing downward is bent, lifting the plug which then cannot sit comfortably in the socket.
Only solution to avoid this is leaving the convertor on an edge of a shelf or a table.
They should have orientated the socket the other way round.
