Assembly was very straight-forward, and much easier than on my previous smaller laser cutter.

This also works without problems with T2Laser software, which for some reason isn’t mentioned in Neje’s listings, but which for my purposes (cutting from dxf files) works extremely well.

Even for cutting cardboaqrd though, you will want to upgrade to a stronger laser unit to increase cutting speeds.

A2 sheets fit easily into this units. It would be even better if the unit was just slightly wider, so users could get A1 sheets (841mm wide) into it without cutting them down first.

Over-all I’m very happy with this unit, using it with an A40640 laser module though.

Took a while to get it set up and working with lightburn.
    Really enjoying using it.
Be prepared to pay out extra for air assist pump and nozzel, extractor and aliminuim honey comb for base
All set up and cuts 3.6 mm hardwood ply clean in 3 passes at 3 mm a second. Cuts 6mm softwood ply in 6 passes. Will not cut 7mm bamboo ply even with 20 passes.
    Very accurate moters.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersPerfect machine, easy to setup, calibrate and use. Very light weight.
However from all the machines I have used I do miss the Z axis, not much of an issue just means I have to manually adjust sometimes if I’m using a thicker material
Also the android app for this is not the greatest, there is not much control, and the ones it does have aren’t very clear. I suppose it could be okay for a beginner to send an image too quickly but as someone that has abit if experience with lasers, it feels clunky and the output isn’t as good as it can be. Comparing the android Vs the pc control, the pc wins hands down. This is my reason for dropping a star. But I would recommend buying this.

I use Lightburn, it is the best software I have found for lasers.

Obviously if you are new at this … lasers burn materials and this causes smoke/dust … I’d recommend planning to make your own fume box or put in a well ventilated area.
