I liked the wheel and pedal setup for racing . and I was not sure if it would work or run in such a new product yet like the T248 , but I the program did, NFS Heat worked fine. My Grand tourismo sport works on it now but it did not when I first got my set up to race.
Love this game so much and it was in brand new condition and works excellent like it should I would recommend this game for your ps4 collection also you can get it for xbox one too

Im more of the old school need for speed fan like the underground 2. But this game its hell of good and it has a very good story. But its a damn pain in the butt to get away from the police when we are starting

I didn’t like how there wasn’t not a lot of decent cars to use but apart from that the game is really fun too play I’m a Gamer Myself and I play alot of Racing game’s and Call of duty Game’s.its just BAD THAT XBOX WONT LET PLAYSTATION DOWNLOAD FORZA 4 THAT’S THE BEST RACING GAME OF 2021.
The grinding to unlock decent cars at the beginning is brutal and the cops are relentless/punishing. This is normal of most racing games but it feels especially dragged out here. But once you get a decent car and unlock its deep customization, this becomes a fun game. The open world is very well done and it’s also a lot of fun. I have yet to try it online yet so my feedback is only pertaining to the solo play.

Stopped playing NFS years ago after they got a bit rubbish, but this is a strong return to form and a very enjoyable game. Story is decent enough, and there’s enough variety and depth in the race types and cars to keep it interesting. Really enjoy the difference between night and day. Can sometimes feel a bit fixed how fast the police are at night, though, and that can get frustrating.
There are only four awesome Need For Speed games in the franchise’s entire history I really loved playing: Need For Speed 3 Hot Pursuit (1998), Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005), Need For Speed Prostreet (2007), and Need For Speed Heat.
After the flop of NFS Payback, I find NFS Heat to be a huge improvement and EA’s return to it’s Most Wanted roots. Good to see Ferraris back in the game too! The problem with such a good game like this, the storyline was way too short – I finished that in no time, although the number of races you get are plentiful. All in all, much better than Payback. Please through in a decent length storyline next time though EA!
EA really did it again this year. Having played nearly all from Hot Pursuit, Undercover, Shift, Rivals, I had some doubt this game wouldn’t be exciting anymore, as the last two before this game certainly was a miss for me, once I saw the trailer I didn’t hesitate to buy it.
Can’t believe its taken EA 14 years to come up with a good Need for Speed game. Having played Carbon, Hot Pursuit (PS3 Edition), most wanted remake, World and Payback, I was a bit apprehensive about this game. Once I saw the trailer however, and toyed about with the app, I decided to give it a try.
After completing the game, I ended up with a massive grin on my face. The visuals were stunning on a standard PS4 (cant imagine PC,PS4 pro or Xbox OneX), handling mechanic was much improved and allowed players to tune cars handling to suit their needs (as someone who prefers sim / grip style cars, this was welcome and it allowed me to tune cars specifically for drift events as well). The selection of cars and customisation were amazing. The variety of races online and offline was great, as was the way the gameplay changes between night and day (night time was more fun and had more police presence). Biggest plus poin however is the absence of lootboxes / microtransactions!
Whilst the game was great, there were still some drawbacks.
1stly, the plot felt weak / unfinished. the characters were good but otherwise the story is bad (although who plays nfs for the plot).
2ndly, the soundtrack wasnt that great and would have prefered some variety / ingame radiostations like GTA. 3rdly, the police presence in daylight felt rubbish. I get that they are supposed to hound you at night and turn a blind eye during the day but they felt useless during daytime.
4th – I get there is some form of ranking, but nfs needs to return to a pinkslip- type mechanic offline (ie unlock the cars of driver’s youve beaten).
That being said however NHS Heat was a fun game and wouldn’t mind recommending it to anybody who wants to play a racing game (also cross-platform play is now available so you can play your friends across PC and consoles).

Brilliant game, wanted this for a whole and finally got it. So much to do in it, so many cars and customizations available. Online is pretty good & the night mode just feels like a much needed add on to the game. Night mode gives you rep to rank higher and day mode let’s you do races to earn cash and buy the cars

Great game overall, but the main story felt a bit short. Just when I thought it was getting started, it ended.
Car choice is pretty good, with plenty of modifications for most cars. Some exotic cars, such as the Ferraris, don’t have many modifications, which is a shame, but most cars can be customised well.
The only thing that stops it being a true sequel to the Underground series (apart from the name) is the music. I don’t think they’ve quite captured the soundtrack and style of the earlier games yet.

Was contemplating this or Grid. Its a good game tbh, don’t expect it to be like nfsu1 or 2. Cars are highly customisable, but with the cost of upgrades you’ll probably stick to not using the customisation to their potential.
Decent story mode, lots of events, lots to do. It’s got a burnout paradise feel to it, pity they didn’t do online challenges like it though.
Drifting in this game is fun and addictive. I love this game . Massive car list. Loads of cool cars to choose from. From mk1s to laferrari. Great game you won’t regret buying this game for Christmas.
This game is the Need for Speed comeback I wanted. The game works great, it’s fun to race. The social aspect, joining a crew and playing with friends makes it a title that just won’t get boring. The day and night racing mode is a great change. Night racing is fast, dangerous and exciting. It’s a risk versus reward system. Risk a lot and win a lot. The game could benefit from more racing modes, more cars and few small improvements but overall it is an amazing NFS comeback.
I was expecting not to enjoy this game, and I can safely saying it’s made my expectations. It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed playing games. Still needs room for improvement. It’s here for a long time to come.
The overall game is ok, but they need to start thinking abit more like forza horizon, the police at night should engage unless you are driving fast or crashing.
The last few nfs games have felt bit rubbish but this one is defiantly not like that. Day racing is more about cruising and races (unless like a donut you drive into a police car) nights are about sprint racing and police chases so you get to pick what your in the mood for. So if your like me and love underground or original most wanted you most probably will be happy with this game
Great game for people who like street racing this game has gone back to the nfs underground route but enhanced graphics love it. Worth getting as you can annoy the cops drift safely and it don’t cost you in real life
Need for Speed games have always been a simple pick up and play racing game, i love more realistic racers like Forza, GT, etc etc but Need for Speed have always been a game to just have some fun and easy pick up and play type racing. Graphically its nice, the tuning side is more fun than previous games and its easy to just jump in and play with a good cheesy street racing lifestyle story to go through.
Its a 4 star because personally if like me you want easy and fun to play game inbetween playing some serious game for a break, then i dont see why NFS Heat couldnt be that game. Dont expect mind blowing, but its good for sure.
