Great machine, just be careful of the chopping blade (very sharp)

This unit is amazing. It’s easy to assemble and to clean.
I’ve sliced onions, made chicken pate, made cake batter, made butter and I’ve even made my own minced beef and minced chicken in the unit. Just cut your meat in cubes, freeze for 30 minutes and use the chopping blades, the process is simple without stress or worry.
There’s also a recipe book included which is nice. So no more shop bought shortcrust pastry for me

Two things I have to point out.
    1. DO NOT PUT IN ICE CUBES.
    2. There is no storage box included. So please be careful if you have little ones in the kitchen as the slicing/grating disk is very sharp.
I just wash my disc and put it back in the bag and cardboard it came in as that works best for me. All other attachments I just put them in another of the bags they came in.

The unit makes the same amount of noise as my blender which is not very loud at all. When you press an auto IQ button it automatically shuts off when it’s finished which I love, or you also have the option to press the last three buttons that stops once you remove your finger.

    I’m impressed

i have used it twice know but only the dough hook it mixes well it’s quite noisy when it’s going i like the fact it automatically cuts out once mixed i haven’t tried the other blade it looks really sharp i don’t want to cut my self on it it’s that sharp once my health allows i will use it more when i need to make stuff for the air fryer like a liquid for a marine add for chicken etc

I’ve been wanting to find a simple easy to use processor and this one is just right for me, didn’t want a lot of tools so long as it chops, grates, slice and able to mix dough this is able to do all 4 easily, cleaning if washed by hand is fiddly be carful of the grating and chopping blade if washed by hand, your likely to forget how sharp the blade edges are especially the rounded grating and slicing blades, I recommend rinsing and using a fish washer as it’s dishwasher friendly I cut my finger slightly doing the latter my fault for not being careful enough but apart from that it’s a good 5 star, as it’s part of my daily use, makes things now a lot more easily, so it’s worth the buy for what it is and it’s pretty good oh one thing though it would be great if the ninja came with storage container for the chopping blades and dough mixing blades that would be a big help for added safety reasons.

I bought this ninja food processor as I often cook from scratch due to various health conditions, but because I work full time needed something to speed up the monotony of chopping vegetables and mixing recipes for baking.

The blade for this chops very fast and doesn’t need to be pressed long to give you very diced up veg. Yes it’s very sharp but if you clean it using a washing up brush with a handle on it you’ll be absolutely fine. I say that confidently as someone who is epically clumsy but hasn’t been cut by it in the few months I’ve owned it.

I love that it comes with a mixing attachment too and this has proved invaluable for making cookies and doughnuts.

I don’t know how I lived for so long without one!

The Ninja is great as a food processor and the price point is spot on. It chops brilliantly, and I can attest to how sharp the blades are as it sliced through my finger with ease when I (stupidly) stuck my finger in to push down a piece of celery (whilst it was switched off I might add otherwise I probably wouldn’t still have a finger left!). It was incredibly easy to assemble and I like how the controls are intuitively simple and well laid out; for example you can use the Auto-iQ programs, which are ‘intelligent’ preset programs that chop and pause and automatically stop when processing is complete; to the right of these are your manual settings: Low, High & Pulse. Also, there aren’t tons of attachments which (in my experience) usually end up relegated to the back of a drawer gathering dust. It comes with the chopping blade assembly – which is double height and really good, a reversible slicing/grating disc, a pusher for the feed chute lid – which also closes the chute off if for example you’re blending soup and don’t want splatters (it’s a decent size feed chute too), and last but not least a dough blade assembly.
My only slight gripes are, when using the dough blade to combine and kneed dough, it feels a bit unsteady and wobbles a bit on the counter. I made dough for a regular sized loaf using 600g of flour and worried that the lid might come off (it didn’t, but felt like it might), and I had to hold the thing down. I suppose this is to be expected when it’s processing a big lump of dough though, and if you do a lot of baking then a stand mixer might be a more appropriate bit of kit. Still, it comes with this attachment and even includes a recipe for bread rolls in the accompanying recipe booklet, albeit only using 400g of flour, which it might cope with better than my slightly larger quantity. Perhaps the base could be more weighted down to cope better with this aspect if it were to be improved upon.
And, as another reviewer pointed out, when washing the food processor bowl, some water does get into the handle, but this evaporates overnight and is not discernible the following day; you certainly wouldn’t notice this if the handle wasn’t translucent. So this is just a minor design flaw but I noticed that it has lost a star or two from other reviewers due to this.
Overall I’m very happy with my new chopper. It has a small footprint & doesn’t take up much space on my countertop, looks great, feels very safe when everything is locked into place (with an audible ‘click’) and most importantly, it chops brilliantly. It’s certainly a marked improvement on my older, flimsy processor which had given up the ghost.

Very sharp and efficient device. Much better than my old processor. Be very careful with the blades as they are very sharp.

Delighted with this food processor, small footprint on worktop with good suction pads so no slipping about. Love the locking mechanism on lid. Have used normal blades for mixing and slicer grater both working well. Looking forward to trying out dough blade. Found a suitable box to store tools in a cupboard and main tool stays in machine. Very careful with sharp blade when washing up as suggested by other reviews. Smart gadget I’m happy to display.

Please beware, the cutting blades of the processor are extremely razor sharp. I have cut myself three times by simply picking it up while being distracted. PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN!!!. I now wash it first holding it by the handle I swish it in hot soapy water then still holding the handle I use a cotton bud to get into the crevices. I don’t dry it I leave it in a safe place on a tea towel to dry on it’s own then store it in the processor. AGAIN PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN!! Other than that I am very pleased with it, it takes all of the hard work out of beating, making pastry and bread.

    BEWARE!!!! BLADES ARE EXTREMELY SHARP!!!!

I love my new Ninja processor. I bought it especially for shredding and julienne but I’m actually using it for everything. It doesn’t take up much space in my kitchen and it gets used almost every day. It cuts down cooking preparation in half. I couldn’t be without it. It’s worth every penny!

I have only used this a couple of times but so far things are wonderful. I’ve made cheese scones and there was no messy dough for me to knead, all done by the machine. Then my homemade soup, the vegetables were grated in seconds. If they’re grated you don’t need to let people know if they’re having hated vegetables, they just enjoy the soup. Marvellous and such a great price.

Was after a food processor for a while. Bit out there in the jungle that is the marketplace I couldn’t decide. Then out of the blue the Ninja surprises me, on sale and ready for my to press the checkout. It arrived the next day, I unboxed like a true samurai and put it straight to use. Trail 1, soup making, trail 2, cake batter, trail 3 chopping and dicing. All where great and easy with the intelligent settings. Blades are easy to swap out and clean. I’ve got to say I’m impressed with the ninja. I’ve compared it to a kenwood that a family member loaned to us, and it out performs with ease. This is my point of view, other may vary.

    Great for all things kitche

This is a nice little machine which should last a long time. It cleans up like new, is very easy to use and is well designed and built. It has a nice “feel” to it.
My only concern, and this would be for any food processor, is the extremely sharp blades which are quite tricky to clean. So I would suggest, if you have one, clean them in a dishwasher. Or, if not, use a long handled dish washing brush and mind your fingers.
The unit has a short, but just long enough, mains cable which can be wound around a cable “tidy” on the back.
There are only three tools, two metal chopping, cutting and shredding tools and one plastic tool for pastry and bread dough etc. The shredding tool has a separate post that it sits on to raise the cutting edge towards the top of the plastic bowl to accommodate shredding of, for example, carrots or potato through the top Shute
We used to have a food processor years ago which was probably double the footprint and extremely noisy.
In comparison this machine is a dream.
The control buttons are simple to use. There are pre-programmed – Chop, Pure, Slice and Mix. and manual buttons Low, High and Pulse.
    Recommended.

Haven’t had a good processor for ages as they used to bed too bulky and fiddly to clean. Bought this to make pate, perfect. Haven’t tried the sliced heat but can’t imagine it will be any less efficient. Wish it was made in the uk or Europe.

    Really solid feel about it.
Shredded carrots for a carrot cake.
I like the different function buttons
    Very pleased with it.
The cord retainer on the back is a good idea

Bought this as a replacement for my very old food processor! It is much lighter and probably a little smaller and not as powerful but has done all tasks well so overall delighted! Excellent value for money and stylish! Still getting used to the twists and turns for switching on and off but have no doubt it will soon become second nature.

This was bought to replace an old Magimix for which parts were no longer available.
The Ninja has been used twice. First to make breadcrumbs when it lacked the oiler of my old processor.

On its second outing it did a very good job of blending soup, the result was excellent.

I feel that I need to adapt to a smaller less powerful machine and that when I do the Ninja will be an excellent addition to my kitchen apparatus.

I’ve been looking at compact food porcessors for a long time, from high end very expensive ones to cheaper ones, and decided to go for this after reading all the positive reviews. Works really well: I’ve used all the functions in auto mode as well as manual, and I’m very happy with it.
One thing I’ve not quite mastered when slicing or grating is how to avoid the last bit of whatever veg I’m processing getting “trapped” between the blade and the lid, but I suspect that’s with all food processors and to be honest it ususally is only a small part of the veg so I’m not really wasting much.
As others said, THE BLADES ARE VERY SHARP! Be careful when cleaning and also how and where you store them, i barely brushed my finger against it as it rested on the draining board and cut my finger! Definitely keep away from children (and clumsy careless adults…)
