bought this for my 7 year old birthday, she enjoys swinging from monkey bars so figured it would be a good fit. Took us a while to get the right height, but otherwise so far so good.

Just look at the picture on my review and you will get a pretty good idea if it was worth it or not. Our experience with a previous slackline was not good, when the ratchet got slammed and we were unable to remove the line. We have adjusted this one several times w/o problems with the mechanism, and the line has enough hooks that you can attach plenty of accessories for the kiddos to have endless fun.
We use this while traveling in our bus and it is superb! Our 4 year old loves it and it’s a big hit with other kids that walk by. Really easy to set up as well. Would definitely buy agai
Good value for money. Could do with more instructions on how to best set up the equipment. We had to improvise how we would wrap the line around the trees. Great variety of equipment.
My 5 year old grandson loves it. Needs help at this age on some things due to the length but this will last for him many years. My younger grandson (3) uses the swing and ladder until he’s a little bigger. Great outdoor exercise. Wish there were more pieces available to add.

Lots of spring in this strapping. It had to be put up pretty high so our preteens can get on the swing and not scrap across the ground.

Lots of options for configuration. Not ideal for younger children, but can be lowered to make it more accessible. We brought it out to our seasonal campsite – and the kids spend hours on it. They love it!

I bought it for my 8 & 10 years old boys. My boys love it. very easy to assembly and install. The handles are a bit hard without wearing any gloves. It would be nice if the bars comes with rubber grip but overall the quality are great especially for the price.
I bought a round swing from Costco that clipped into it easily (pic attached).
My only issues:
1) I underestimated how big around my trees are, so this 50 foot course wasn’t long enough to span my backyard. I had to get an additional strap to make it about 4 feet longer. My bad.
2) At 50 feet, there is a lot of sway in the line. I’m trying to come up with a way to add support in the middle. Otherwise, if 1 kid is playing on the swing it makes it really hard for another kid to get across the rest of the obstacles (depending on the age of the kid, that might be a good thing as it adds to the challenge!).
3) The kit comes with felt to put around the tree to protect it from the straps. I tried at least 3 times, and could never get the strap to stay on the felt. It slid below the felt and hugged the tree instead. I am not concerned as I lowered the strap after a week to check and there is no damage to the tree.
I would definitely recommend this if you have the trees to support it.
UPDATE: It’s been over 6 months since I bought this, and my kids still love it! Even in the winter they play on it.
Some reviews I’ve read suggest the rings might be too far apart. I think that depends on the child. At first, my 5 & 7 year old struggled a bit to go from ring to ring. A couple months in and they both have mastered it.
Also random… My King Sheppard puppy LOVES this setup. She is now 5 months old, and loves to tug on the ladder and rope. So far her teeth haven’t managed to damage either of them. =)
Easy to set up and the kids have played with it every night since we have owned it. My only suggestion would be if you buy the 50′ option, which we did it should come with all the accessories offered to fill the line. Other than that no complaints.

I purchased the ninja line backyard obstacle course to use instead of a swing set and we are very happy with the purchase so far. We have had it in the yard for Almost 2 weeks and the kids LOVE to climb and swing on it. We have kept it quite low to the ground until they get better at using it and build more strength and then we will raise it higher. I love the fact that we can pack it up and take it with us when we visit others to keep kids occupied at Grandparents house too!. We have added a second swing to it and will likely add other obstacles such as a climbing net as kids continue to grow. Thanks for a great product Cateam!
I needed help to install – just because of needing a ladder to get it high enough and someone strong enough to pull the cable taunt enough. The kids love it !
From the moment this went up, it’s been a hit!
Easy to set up and easy to adjust. Half the fun the kids had with it was rearranging it and trying it in a different order.
The instructions were good, and while it isn’t complex to out together you do want to be sure you have it set up properly.
This is a great alternative to getting a swing set or a play structure that the kids will outgrow quickly. As the kids get taller, raise it so there is still a sense of challenge.
Another great advantage is being able to take it down, move it, or take it with you. Looking forward to a great addition to our next camping trip.
It was a gift. The receiver said it was great and it had so many components.
Setup: Easy to place and secure the different components (we had the change things around a couple times because of how we set it up but it ended up working beautifully). That being said, it was a bit difficult to attach and tighten enough so that the swing, and the rope wouldn’t drag on the ground when you sat/climbed it, (lol) but my husband finally succeeded. I cannot see an average woman having the necessary strength to tighten the line (it takes quite a bit of strength).
We did not set it up at the required 8 feet, but still our granddaughter could not easily access the monkey bars. So, we ran the line through a series of trees which really helped my granddaughter because now she can climb the tree and grab the monkey bar. Still she didn’t have enough strength to hold on long enough to pull herself through the series, so my husband came up with the idea of running a second line, closer to the ground which enables her to have some leverage while hanging on to the monkey bars section (of course, this only works because we have 4 trees and the two in the center are holding this second line), which enables the swing, the ladder and the knot rope to hang freely. I would love to see extenders for the monkey bars (this would lower that section for the kids to reach them more easily, which would be much more fun for them). As the kids get stronger and grow a bit, you would remove the extenders. Just a Another thing I would love with this is that the knot rope have a larger disk at the bottom so that the kids can just stand there and swing the rope. As it is now, it’s quite difficult to stay on it. The tweaks I mention are only to make this product more kid friendly.
But as I mentioned at the outset, overall this is an amazing product! I would highly recommend!! Our granddaughter is always on it!! She hardly is using her bicycle since we set up the line. That says a lot!!

We purchased this for our two children (6, 10) and they absolutely LOVE it!!!! Hours of play!!!! Worth every penny.
With parks closed due to COVID-19, I needed to keep the kids busy in our back yard. I was going to pretend I was handy and try to build a wooden play structure, or I was going to buy a pre-fab one… but then discovered this slackline. Bottom line, it was way less expensive, super easy to set up, is way sturdier and better quality than I anticipated, and has way more features than we would have had if I built something. I purchased some extra swings on Amazon to add in, and there’s still more room to add more. It took some adjusting to get the height and tension just right, but no big deal. Since it’s a slackline, of course it’s “bouncier” than a metal structure, but that’s part of the challenge and part of the fun. Extra bonus: I can just take it down in the winter and store it in a bag. No huge parts sitting around taking up space.
We were about to buy another Ninja line when we realized that this one offered much more for the same price. It is very robust, even adults can enjoy it! Super quality and very good service, I highly recommend!
This ninja line is amazing! The quality is fantastic and it has something for all different skill/age levels. We purchased it for our daughter’s birthday, and she has played on it for day’s straight! (It’s kept her off of electronics and outside – which is great!)

The first time you release the line, the sound is a little surprising.
Replaced a big gawdly jungle gym thing with the ninja line. I have reclaimed half my backyard thanks to the space saved. My kids, nieces and nephews love it. It’s well made and easy to setup. It has the approval of mom and grandma, that should say it all lol

The ninja line works great. The components work together very well. The swing is a big hit with my youngest and my son is loving the monkey bars. The setup is fairly easy. We had a hiccup because there we left slack in the ratchet when we started to tighten. Make sure you pull all the slack before you begin and it will go smoothly. This is the best set I have seen. All the neighbours noticed it and commented.

I watched a video on how to hang the ninja line and was able to easily put it up by myself in about 30 mins from box to use. It is even better than I expected it to be, my kids love it. Pretty fantastic item, easy to set up, still quite a bit of flex no matter how tight you make it. It does have many extra slots to add more items to the challenge.
Two months later – I wanted to update my review. We still love the product but for 6-8 year olds it is too hard to go from the little ring to the little ring. The swing is great as is the ladder. We will look to add on new, lower bars to replace the small rings.

Quality seems superior to what we could find locally. Installation was pretty simple and quick. The hardest part was getting the carabiners up. Now that that’s done set up would take nothing more than minutes
All the components seem really well made and sturdy. The slack line is solid and the ratchet is impressively well built! Installation was very easy, though the tree protectors included are not very long and can only wrap around small-to-medium tree trunks. Had to improvise our own tree protector around our big tree. One thing to note about installation: in the pictures it shows the carabiners attached to the slack line with the fabric loops facing down but this way all the stress from the weight is on the stitching of those loops. We positioned ours with the loops facing up (attaching the carabiners is identical) so that the stress is directly on the slack line, not the stitched on loops whose main purpose is to keep the obstacles in place.
Because everything is hanging off a slack line, it does sag and swing when you use it (which you can’t really tell from the pictures) but it holds very well under a lot of weight – my kids and I can all be on it at the same time (and we weigh almost 250lb together). The instability of the sagging and swinging just adds to the challenge! But be sure to attach it to big sturdy trees!! I get the feeling they are the weakest component of this set-up, not the actual product!
The various “ninja-training” components are great and the description is totally right – the kids get easily bored with the rings but having the swing, the ladder, and the climbing rope keeps them going for hours! It is also great that the design is modular so the components can be switched around or replaced with different ones. There are 9 slots on the slack line that are free so we are thinking of buying more carabiners and more components – perhaps a climbing net!!
Would definitely recommend this for backyard play! And because it is pretty easy to set up and take down, you can even bring it along when you go camping, vacationing, or visiting the grandparents! 🙂
