Didn’t order early enough for Christmas 2020 and ended up competing with everyone stuck at home during lockdown trying to buy games consoles. Waited many weeks for a decent price that never came, so I bit the bullet and paid the inflated price so I could start playing. Plus, as my children both have consoles I wanted to have different coloured joycons so they don’t get all mixed up and we know whose is whose. ACNH edition is a lovely designed console, but the cost could have been fairer.

Very good brought this for my sons birthday, a bit more expensive due to everywhere being out of stock. He loves the colours and the animal crossings game he can play and is super chuffed. Order was great came really quick and packaging was good. Very please and I would trust this seller.

Bought this as a gift for my partner, within about an hour she was addicted to Animal Crossing:New Horizons. Plays it nearly every day, battery lasts a good 5-6 hours and we’ve got a 65″ TV so I thought it would look bad connecting it up, but it looks great. I even ended up buying myself a switch too!
Great video console, but mind you, it’s not a peak performer when it comes to ergonomics. In handhald mode (I use switch exclusively like this) it can be uncomfortable, especially when you play FPS games and you hands are one the left side of the Gaussian graph when it comes to the size – left analog stick is too low, console shell is not profiled by any means. Also, joycons could sit in the rails of the switch more steadily: expect some minor movements. While it adds a little bit of “cheap” feeling, it doesn’t affect gaming at all and it’s easy to get used to.
One of the biggest drawback is the screen: native resolution could be higher (only 720p) and some games work in resolution as low as 480p and there is certainly a lot of room for improvement. Maximum brightness seems a little bit low too, especially when you’re planning to play outdoors in a sunny day.
But all these cons don’t overshadow the pros. It’s still the most powerful handhald console to date. (except some third party windows projects like GPD but let’s ignore them for the lack of first party, dedicated software) The library of the games is great and finally dicersive, which is new for Nintendo consoles: you can find here a lot’s of third party titles from past, and even current generation of consoles which are focused on more adult consumer. And as always, There are a lot’s of Nintendo exclusives: anyone can find something for their taste.
This arrived on time as promised by the supplier which was great. The product is as expected, and the game code supplied worked as it should very easy to activate. All in all a great product and service
It’s a standard Switch but with a different colour scheme and a digital version of Animal Crossing. My 8 year old twins love it. It can be used as a handheld, a small screen or plugged into the tv. It’s a really versatile gaming machine.
I am a traditional console gamer. Having a ps2 and 3 and an Xbox One. I was hoping to get my hands on a ps5 but with stock being so messy I thought I would put that plan aside and would try a switch after seeing it was the best selling console of 2020 and my desire to try the new animal crossing and breath of the wild. And I am so happy i made that decision.
The console is amazing. With the colours and animal crossing theme giving this console a unique look which I think is probably the best switch around right now. The hand-held screen is better than I thought it would be and playing in hand-held mode in bed at night has become part of my daily routine. But of course playing on a TV is even better and the games all look gorgeous. The one thing I would mark down on the console is the memory. At only 32gb, you will need to buy a memory card, but luckily game sizes aren’t that big so you can last for a while.
The games are fun and I find them very relaxing, especially animal crossing, with games such as breath of the wild or Immortals Fenyx Rising (which I highly recommend) satisfying the need I have for RPGs or more action type games, with the switch having a good balance of more mainstream action genre games and relaxing easy to play games. And these games have provided me with fun I haven’t had since my parents brought me a Wii so many years ago.
I cannot recommend the switch more, for any type of gamer, whether you’re buying for a child or something the family can play together, or you’re questioning whether you should try it like I was. The switch provides endless, laid-back fun suitable for everyone, with a games library to back it up. And the cute and vibrant animal crossing theme making the console a joy to look at. I couldn’t be happier!

An absolutely beautiful newer model Nintendo Switch with improved battery over the original batch. The colors are very nice on the joycons and the customized dock looks great on a shelf.
Would have never considered getting a switch until this limited edition came out- I have a 3DS so I thought I was set, but animal crossing is so so dear to my heart; I played the older Animal Crossing: Wild World on my DS Lite and I only have fond memories of the franchise. I’m now over a hundred hours into New Horizons, and having my console to match just makes it so much better. Oh, and increased battery life!
Beautiful AC Switch. With a secondary UK NSO account you can download the digital game code to any switch region free.
One strange thing with this AC version switch was it could not connect to a 5GHz WiFi network (other AC switch console had same issue.) Solution: factory reset and change WiFi router channel to 40 (DNS and fixed IP methods didn’t work.)

I was going to wait until all the prices were down for any version of the switch, but I realised that I had the money so it was a now or never sort of thing. I’m so glad I bought this one, the prices of the games are ridiculously high, so having the game I wanted the most already installed, that was the best option.
It arrived earlier than was predicted so that was already a great start. The box and console were not damaged in the slightest and I didn’t even need to fully charge the switch before my first use!
The set up was easy, just plug it into the wall, attach all the cables in the right place and boom, set up. Setting up the user stuff on the console was a breeze as well, took me no time at all to start playing the game.
The one thing I have a slight problem with is when I switch the joycons to the small handheld controller, the switching has scratched up the inside of the joycons, leaving black streaks along that side. It’s not noticeable if you’re not really looking for it, you don’t really look at where it is, but I know it’s there and it’s made me a little sad since this is a special edition switch. Oh well, it’s perfectly fine, the console still runs.
Overall, a great console, a brilliant game and amazing customer service.

This console is GORGEOUS and everything I had hoped for. I love it and it has been worth every penny and hour spent on it, it’s almost perfect. Almost. The battery is not the best, I had expected it to last a little longer, but it’s a small flaw for all the other positives it has. Would recommend!!!

STUNNING, however when in the doc the switch isn’t stable and is extremely wobbly, i had a switch before so I know this isn’t normal. Just took a little bit away from the excitement of having this switch and is quite annoying.
The best looking console out of all the limited editions released so far. The colours are cute and elegant alongside the AC-themed dock. I hope that all fans of the series get the opportunity one way or another to own this beautiful piece of hardware.
