How do I measure paint thickness?
Having the right paint thickness is key to getting an even finish. Before spraying, check that the thickness (viscosity) of your chosen material is suitable for this paint sprayer. Run your material through the included flow cup and time in seconds how long it takes for the cup to empty. If it takes longer than 100 seconds, you will need to dilute – add water (or paint thinner) and repeat the test until you have a nice even material consistency. Check your material container for dilution instructions.

he spray gun is fantastic for spraying a shed,
it covers the shed sides in next to no time,
cleaned all the parts when finished immediately and was easy to do
Purchased to replace a very old but expensive airless sprayer (I dropped). Decided not to buy expensive one as primary use on garden furniture. This surpassed all expectations. It is extremely accurate with its spray pattern and coped with a thicker liquid than my old one with ease. I honestly believe it outperforms my old expensive gun.
This sprayer has outperformed previous simular priced sprayers.
The variation of air flow and the positioning of the feeder tube to suit what angle of spraying is very good.
I have not had a blockage whilst spraying.
Very impressed.
I would recommend trying it out on a scrap piece of paper/cardboard etc. I have only used water based paints, so all of my points refer to that, I found that diluting the paint with approximately 20% water is the perfect viscosity to use.
I have found that low and slow is the best way to go, ie: “Low power” turn the spray power to “MIN”, turn the dial on the trigger to a low amount out paint being sprayed to avoid runs etc then when you are spraying, move the gun slowly across the area to be sprayed, you should see a very fine mist being applied.
I have “upcycled’ a hall table and a large kitchen dresser and I am more than happy with the result.
The gun is easy to clean afterwards too, run everything under a hot tap with plenty of washing up liquid, and you’ll be fine.

Holzdecke 50qm weiss lassiert. Man braucht die Erfahrung, wie man geschickt vorgeht. Hat super funktioniert. Die vergelbte Holzdecke ist sehr schn geworden. Kann dieses Gerte bestens empfehlen.

I tried to use an outdoor stain which a much thicker, yet still thinner than paint.
And it didn’t do so well. It was clogged within a minute.
Haven’t used it for paint and never would because I refuse to put paint on wood.
But I can’t imagine it doing so well.

First impressions are that the box isn’t very big, but the sprayer breaks down into 2 main parts so it’s easy to store.
The instructions are good and assembly is very easy. The only challenging part is making sure you have thinned your paint correctly and fitted the correct size of nozzle. Once you’ve experimented a bit and got your settings then it is just so easy to spray your project.
I did 4 walls in the dining room in less time than it took me to mask off everything I didn’t want to paint. Masking is important, but there isn’t a huge amount of overspray anyway.
Clean-up is easy too with emulsion as it only requires warm soapy water.
The only reason I gave 4 stars for ‘ease of use’ is because of the time needed to get your settings and paint consistency just right. However, the guide on how to do it is informative enough that it doesn’t take long to get the hang of it.

Excellent was a bit sceptical on whether it would be any good but this is a brilliant piece of kit. Painting outside of house took two of us about4hours to paint some new pebbledash on extension so decided to buy this and would definitely recommend to anyone did full side of house in no time
This is the second no cry product I have bought and it is fantastic as expected. Easy to use and works brilliantly. I have managed to paint 20 metres of block garden wall with masonry paint in maybe 1 hour or so! A job I though would take me days! After watering down the paint and measuring the viscosity using the tool provided, the paint was quickly and evenly applied and there was minimal mess. I was worried about paint spray affecting my neighbours, but I needn’t have worried as I didnt even get any spray on my watch or glasses. 100% recommended this product for value for money, ease of use and coverage. And the instructions are clear and very humerous! Obviously written by a company that respects its customers.

The gun itself is again simple to use and consistently gives great results. Amongst other things I’ve sprayed 30 plus internal doors, everyone of which had a perfect finish. Did my own and when neighbours saw the finish, got me to do theirs as well. (not sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing)
Just make sure the consistency of the paint is correct as per the instructions, run it through a sieve after thinning and mixing and play with the settings as you blast away. So impressed, great piece of ki
Easy to assemble, easy to use, and easy to clean!
I recently spray painted my fence using Cuprinol Duck’s Back Silver Copse using this product and it was super easy. I did 2 layers and each layer probably took 1.5 – 2h.
And even though the instructions suggested I should thin out the paint, in the end I realized I didn’t need to so the 2nd layer was straight from the can. So I suggest you give it a try without first.
Why anyone would want to paint a fence with a brush is beyond me. Just get this product.
I will say that you should avoid spray painting if it’s breezy or windy, and obv if there is rain predicted, that will affect your end result (although the Cuprinol dried super quick).
It has settings for how wide or thin you want the spray to be, how much paint should come out at any given time, as well as the direction – horizontal vs vertical.
The cord is not long so you’ll need an extension lead.
Excellent piece of kit that I have used to spray fence panels. Follow the instructions and clean thoroughly. Some complaints I have seen in other reviews I would suggest may be because the kit wasn’t being assembled correctly – takes a little while to figure it out. Lock will only engage when bottle is fully push home into the motor part for example. Also note the spare nozzles are in the bottle. I used about a litre of paint per panel so constant refills needed. A larger bottle would be great and is not available, but I have passed on my request, so hopefully in the future one will be available. Great and rapid customer service provided for a query I had.

Just brilliant. Just get the paint viscosity right and mask well and your away. Hand painted outside wall of garage in 3.5 hours. Sprayed in 15 minutes without the arm ache
Bought this because I always wanted to try one and this wasn’t too expensive and I was only painting my spare room.
It took a bit of time to get the right consistency of paint, I bought Dulux but would have been better with a cheaper less thick brand. Once I got that it was easy to get started and finished really quick. 2.5 litres done two coats approx 36m/2 and it dries quicker as you are only putting down a thin layer. The instructions are very clear and concise, which is a big plus these days. Cleaning can be a bit fiddly but a lot easier than cleaning trays and rollers.
Now that I’ve done one room I will be more confident using again and now that summer is around the corner it will be ideal for doing the fence and she’d as well.
Really happy with this purchase at this time and as always I will update the review if I have anything to add in the future.

I expected for the price this paint sprayer to be pretty average at best buy thought I’d give it a go non the less and I’ve got to say I was pleasantly surprised, I had a full office area to paint ceiling and walls after a refrub and it certainly payed off getting the spray gun. The most time consuming aspect was the preparation of masking up all areas not requiring painting but once you had got the correct opacity of paint you were away, and it’s amazing how little paint in comparison to tillering you used . Very happy …just wish it was easier to clean after but that’s a small gripe.
I was impressed when I first used this product but did it develop a problem after about 15 minutes when it woud no longer spray any liquid. Suspecting a blockage I cleaned the sprayer which was quite a simple procedure. However even after adjusting all variables I still couldn’t get it to draw up any liquid.
I therefore contacted customer service by email & was almost immediately contacted by Raino who apologised profusely & stated that I seemed to have been unfortunate & that I had obviously received a faulty sprayer which had somehow got through their quality control. He advised me a new sprayer would be despatched to me urgently & that there was no need to return the faulty device.
I recieved the new sprayer the following day! Amazing after sales service. I have tried the new sprayer & all seems to be working well. Would certainly have no worries with ordering from this company again.
I had to varnish about 150 pieces of wood the size of my forearm. I tried brushing, I tried dipping them in a bath of the stuff for speed. Could not get a clean run-free, drip-free finish. Spraying was far too difficult an option with compressors, lots of skill, a special area etc needed. Bought this and couldnt believe how simple and easy to use it was. And a superb finish. When I had a problem, I emailed and got a reply the same day with a replacement sent immediately AND an offer of a refund (which I refused). Brilliant product, brilliant service. Thank you.

I used this sprayer to paint my shed and it was easy to use. Excellent product.
After using it for only 10 seconds it failed to spray. Then sputtered and covered my work in big blobs of paint. Went straight in the bin.

Can you call in love with a paint sprayer? Oh yes. I bought this sprayer as I couldn’t face painting all our fences with a brush. It took me less than a day to spray them all! Why didn’t I buy one before? It’s very easy to assemble and use. Filling it can be a bit messy so wear gloves. Oh and use a proper face mask as the paint atomises. Hubby is now worrying about what I’m planning to spray paint nex
After using a pump up sprayer and brush for 2 days on my fence I tried my Father in laws old type spray gun the water based stain would not pass through the gun , So went back to pump sprayer and brush for another day . Then found this on Amazon and it has been fantastic even coverage ,easy to use and by just diluting the paint a little has produced a fantastic finish in quick time. I will be checking out their other products.
I bought this to treat my fence and decking, great bit of kit for a reasonable price. Did exactly what I needed and after a quick set up for the thickness of the paint ( Cuprinol Autumn Oak ) I did the first coat in 2 hours and the second in an hour and a half.
Two criticisms, minor but already knew about them when I bought it. The cable is a bit short you will definitely need an extension cable, and the paint capacity could be larger or provide a pipe to go directly to the paint as some others do. Overall really pleased and saved a massive amount of time and effort.
Very simple to use and gives great results – Used to spray / paint a large fence made a very good job and in a fraction of the time to hand paint by brush / rolle

Have a huge loft conversion to paint. Started with rollers and got bored on the first coat. Bought this, watered down the emulsion and boom, one coat in 2 hours instead of all day. Goes on smooth, easy to aim and doesn’t jam constantly. It is an excellent tool. My only criticism is the cable length, if they made it say 2 or 3m longer then I wouldn’t have to keep stopping to move the extension.
I have not used it yet. I have such a lots of work in the garden which is more urgent. I cannot comment.
I have never used a sprayer before and have moved in to a new home which has 25 Meters of fencing, and I didn’t fancy doing it with a brush. I was using Ronseal Fencelife+ and diluted the paint with 1 cup of water per 3.5 liters paint (roughly) and set the sprayer to max trigger and max spray, used the 2.6 nozzle. I was able to spray the whole length of the fence in 45 minutes.( It took 2 coat). It ate the paint at about 1 lt. per 1.5 fence panels. I really enjoyed using this sprayer and would 100% recommend it. Cleaning was easy and the sprayer never faltered or got jammed. I am going to paint my garden room now, it doesn’t need it, but I want to change the colour (and use the sprayer again!).
I was able to use it straight out of the box. It was easy to assemble. I was able to paint 7 fence panels in just under 2 hours.. The spray Nozzle pattern is easy to adjust. Only slight gripe is the container could be larger I was only able to do one fence panel with a full container. Only my first use and its thumbs up so far.
This is an amazing product, I was a bit dubious about buying it because Ive tried others in the past that have been useless!! This product is in another dimension compared to them for a very reasonable price. Made quick work of my 2 sheds and fence.

Having done a lot of looking around and reading reviews, I settled on this sprayer to help paint 29 6ft x 6ft fence panels. The instructions are very clear, but I’d advise you read through them before starting anything. I used Ronseal Fence Life Plus paint for the job and the trickiest part was filling the sprayer’s reservoir – top tip: poor the paint from the tub into a jug or something with a spout and then fill up the reservoir, otherwise it’ll go everywhere!
The sprayer is very easy to use, but it takes a bit of trial and error to get the spray speed and thickness right. Actual operation of the sprayer is very straight forward – but be warned, it can be very thirsty! For example, I was having to refill the reservoir after 75% of each panel (but that’s because of the settings I had). On average, it was taking me less than 10 minutes to cover each panel – I found I then had to go over it quickly with a dry brush just to ensure better coverage (but that’s probably user error, rather than failings with the sprayer). This compares to about 45 minutes per panel with a fence brush.
Cleaning it thoroughly is very straight forward, albeit quite a lengthy process.
All in, I’d definitely recommend. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it isn’t perfect, but still very good.
Used Ronseal 5 year fence plus which is a bit jellyish in texture. Filled the container 3/4 and added 1/4 water mixed and off I went . Changed panels from russet red to pale grey . Enjoyed the job. Not much overspray which is good . The more you use it the easier it gets. Good little piece of kit . I’m not disappointed. Give it and go and give those fences a new lease of life . Thanks no cry .

Pros. Sat and figured out how gun worked and after fiddling about with poster paint and bathroom tiles managed to figure out settings and spray adjuster. Today painted 100 feet of 7ft high fence in 3 hours. Spray is great for getting in fiddly corners and around cross planks. I didnt thin my ronseal fence+ but sprayer coped fantastic. Did once have to clean nozzle and uptake tube but reckon that was a minimal problem
Im a 55 year old woman and although a bit stiff tonight found this a godsend. Now planning to use it on other DIY projects (the hut took 15 minutes )
I bought this to spray my outside wall and it worked brilliantly. I had a few questions and quierys about the product and the replys was amazing. Spray gun works very easily and powerful enough to cover a wall. 3 different setting to make it cover what you need. Would highly recommend.
Painted ! ceiling and 2 walls ‘ 1 day for the ceiling (3 coats 50 DN’s , it had a maroon stripe right down the centre and I was repainting in white ) and 1 day for the 2 walls. (2 coats each ) A doddle to use with a tiny bit of practice. Would really recommend.One of the best finishes I have ever had.

Read the reviews, and the thought of painting panels was enough to send me over the edge My husband looked at a few, but liked guarantee on this. It went very well, saved days of work. Easy to clean, and use, win win situation, what else can I say? He says he probably wouldn’t use it indoors, but we are not expecting to do that anyway. But I am sure you can do that too.
This sprayer in my opinion is first class. I have never used a sprayer before but this product is amazing. The instructions are very detailed with pictures for ease of assembly.
Can’t fault this product but would of liked a second paint container. But all in all I would highly recommend NoCry Paint Sprayer.

is the first time i used these produce as such, normally brush or roller painted, but really short on time i decided to spray for a change, i choose Nocry because is advertise as one of the powerful spray on the market and can do most of paint. i thought i give it to the test, by using Masonry paint. following the instructions 5-1 diluting works, but not as fine spray, i change to 4-1 mix, come out fine mist. i find using max airflow only use paint adjustment is easier to control the quality of spray, and about an arms length is better coating. did the whole garage in 45 mins with 2 coating.

Good sprayer if you figure out how to spray you want. Me I’ve only used the smallest white spray tip. Can’t speak for the other sizes. I’m all about not having overspray and leave plenty of paint. I’ve been using 1/4 of water or little more to get funnel flowing good. I wish the funnel viscosity measuring tool it comes with was half its side with a longer handle. Nobodys got 180 to wait. I don’t wait now I see the speed of drainage. I also wish I could make my paint half as thin to spray through the smallest tip. Crank up the volume you crank up the water too. Too heavy it drips it’s so thin.
There should be notches at bottom of paint jar or something for grip. Also i can’t find any replacement paint jars or lids for this brand. The Lid OD is 3 1/4 +/- 1/32. Also never found a video of someone using this NoCry brand yet. Had my first one for about 4 or 5 months ago. And still running fine and bought a 2nd to have 2 paints loaded i recommended this spray at the $35 price refurbished used even. Just practice. I spray mainly the small circle for cabinets it says but I spray walls trim and barely squeeze trigger to right when paint comes out but more air then paint. Cause the firsts 1/4 pull is just Air and useful in a few ways. Cleaning tip while spraying. Blowing cob webs away, and drying the paint you just sprayed. Closer you get to tip the warmer the air gets. (Not for skin just) stuff your painting. Its low pressure but idk what amount it takes to enter you blood stream. Not recommended anyway close to tip.
I’ve sprayed the entire Bungalow exterior in only one day using 10% thinned dulux weathershield. This job would have been horrendous with a roller, considering the thick pebble dashed exterior of the house. I’ve also used it for spraying our wooden shed, wooden fence, decking, pallet furniture and even emulsion paint inside the house. This is definitely recommended for painting white on ornate covings and stucco.
HOWEVER…
It can be difficult at first to find the optimal combination of spray pressure, feed rate and nozzle size for your specific application. Especially when using emulsion paints. They tend to start sticking to the nozzle once the air from the blower becomes warmer(which happens the longer the sprayer is in operation).
If the nozzle gets too clogged around the air holes, the paint will start to drip and sputter. That can be very messy, at which point one should consider cleaning the device before continuing.
If you can live with these limitations, It’s a great device for the money.
