Good cheap phone, very surprised at how good it is for the money
Nokia did the good thing make it this phone Nokia s 20
As a long time Nokia user, this doesn’t disappoint.
I only need to charge it every three days and, as it was unlocked, I only had to insert my old SIM to get started.
Very nice mobile phone which does not break the bank
Very pleased with this phone – good battery life, good camera, no bloatware.
Camera is goodeasy to usegood size screenup to date tec..not too heavygood phone for price
…but then I don’t spend my day streaming video. Camera is more than adequate for me – takes great pics and vids. It’s also quick and screen quality is great. In general use no shakes or judders. Luv the blue colour. So far the best phone I’ve bought in 15 years
A great value phone, with only one issue. There is no way of using WiFi calling. Otherwise a great handset.
Love the feel and layout of my new phone. It takes great photos and has some great features
Update: my old phone stopped receiving security updates so ended up re-ordering this for myself and I love it. The below review still applies with the addition that battery life is very good, up to two days with lots of social media usage and just a bit of gaming.
Got this phone for my wife but she didn’t like the big size and the front camera so had to return it.
I didn’t get to spend too much time with it so no idea about battery life. I loved the feel of the phone. It’s large but good-looking. The screen looks nice and the whole phone runs well and feels smooth. The OS is completely free of bloatware, which is a huge positive.
The rear camera is impressive. Photos have very good quality but what impressed me the most was the cinema mode. It records video at 24 fps in 21:9 format and it looks stunning. Great for amateur cinematographers.
Unfortunately the front camera is dissapointing. No matter how i tweaked it it just looked too bad, with unnatural colors and grainy image, especially in Whatsapp and facebook messenger. The sound was also not great. It only comes with a bottom speaker and it’s pretty tinny.
The battery life is great. The screen size is wider than what I expected but great for movies. Overall its a really good phone
The phone is good quality and has a good size battery which lasts me for over 4 days. It has good apps which can be uninstalled if not needed unlike some other makes of phone.
I bought for 300 pounds but now price reduced, low light photo could have been better, build quality seems good, design could be bette
Went to the Nokia site from Amazon and they had a special offer of increased memory at the same price. Replaced a Nokia 8 which I never had a problem with, just wanted a new phone. Received as a gift. Setting it up was easy and using Google back up downloaded all my previous calls, texts, apps, etc. Fingerprint recognition never fails, battery life is awesome even with a lot of use, camera good. Haven’t tried face recognition. Not too heavy even though it is quite a bit bigger than the Nokia 8 and I have small hands. Quick and responsive with all the apps I’ve used. And, as someone else said, 007 seemed to think it was worth showing off in the latest Bond film, and if it’s good enough for him……..!
I bought this phone to replace my Nokia 3.2, which I wasn’t overly excited with, and had incurred several hits against the wall due to constantly shutting down by itself.
I really didn’t expect much considering it was only399 new, but OMG what a phone. Very responsive, great quad camera and battery life is even better than the 3.2 . All of my family use iPhones, but everyone is surprised with this phone on how well made and what you get for the money. I was even more chuffed when 007 took one out in his last bond movie, I just sat there with a smile on my face . I would definitely recommend to purchase this phone.
This phone looks very nice with the Gold/Copper frame and Rose Gold back and the back has a nice texture. It is definitely not for small hands. The Camera is impressive and the Video has stabilization which works very well and you can also record stabilized video in ultrawide. I got this phone for 250 on Amazon and it was the best price anywhere…overall this s a good looking classy phone.
The phone looks very modern and it was a good colou
Phone great for price.. did exactly what is said on the the tin.
I like the gesture control on touchscreen, the camera is really good too,it is a nice colour.
I’ve had this phone for 3 weeks now. I brought it to replace the Nokia 7.1 which is not having security updates from November 2021. Firstly it is larger than the 7.1, which I knew it would be, but it is the largest phone I have ever had so has taken a bit of getting use to. Transferring details from the 7.1 to the X20 took no more than 2 hours and was fairly easy and smooth. I just had to back up my 7.1 and then follow the instructions from the X20. Battery life is good, upto 2 days depending on how much you use it. Screen is large so if you like watching on your phone this is a good choice. The one thing which is really annoying is the position of the Google Assistant button. It is the opposite side of the on/off switch and you end up pressing it in error a lot of the time. But overall I am fairly happy with the phone. It is Andriod 11, 5G ready and 3 years of updates from Nokia.
wonderful brand like Nokia than Samsung and Apple as well. I preferred to get Nokia simple device and good thing you can discover in it. Number one for me and good brand.
I got this phone because my Galaxy 7 Edge died, and I’d looked at the reviews on YouTube.
It’s a nice size phone, a smidge bigger than my old one. The screen is nice and clear and easy to read. The battery life is amazing, I’m actually getting three days from a full charge. The battery itself only takes a couple of hours to charge as well.
The phone itself is easy to set up. Switch it on, connect to the Wi-Fi, run the update, enter your details, and that’s you. All the main Google ones are there, so you’re all set up in five minutes. One really nice thing about this phone, is that there’s no bloatware, so any apps I don’t use, I can easily uninstall, unlike other makes where you’re stuck with them filling space on your phone.
What’s also nice, is that it has a jack socket for earphones, so you’re not forced to ditch the ones you bought for those daft ear buds which make you look like Ben Stiller in the jizz scene from There’s Something About Mary.
My only niggle with this phone, is that selfie photos are reversed, so I had to install another app to get them the right way round. I’ve no idea why Nokia haven’t got their camera software to automatically correct this, especially as my old Samsung kept the selfie photos the right way round and that came out in 2016! As I said, that’s my only niggle. The camera is nice and has Google Lens built in, so you can point it at a plant for example, and Google Lens will identify it for you. The same goes for any photos you’ve taken. There’s a little Lens icon, so select that and it’ll try and identify your photo, or run the QR/bar code.
Basically, if you want a nice phone for a nice price, this one is certainly worth getting.
