Needed a new pair of earbuds and was about to buy some Apple AirPods Pro 2. Came across these and did a little research on them which convinced me to give them a try. I’ve been using them for a while now and must say I’m very happy I made the decision to purchase them

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve noticed that most reviews obsess about music quality & ANC, forgetting that phones were invented for calls!
This does have good music quality & good ANC. It’s not quite as good as the latest Bose but not too far off.
The bluetooth connectivity is excellent, easy & reliable, & it works with 2 devices.
The voice call quality is very good, better than all the other high end headphones I’ve tried.
The mobile app is fine & the case is easy to use & not too bulky. Battery charge/longevity appears good too.
All in all an excellent pair of headphones & my favourite to date.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love these earphones, by far the best purchase of mine over the years. They work perfectly in sync with my phone and the audio quality is comparable to that of wired earphones of high quality.

The only issue I have after a year of usage is that sometimes it doesn’t charge in its case due to connection issues. Apart from that, they’re fantastic !

Fit well to my ears and the automatic noise cancellation is the best. I can’t even hear my wife when nagging.
Sounds great. The bass and balance are perfect.
Did you hear the noise on the video? With the Noise Cancellation on this Nothing Earbuds 2 you will enjoy your music even its very noisy around your environment.

I have the Nothing Phone (1), its the best ever , I had the ear Stick…thought they were okay so I bought the Ear 2….Fantastic. the app that gives you a hearing test is great an the bass is superb. For the money these are amazing .

First thing i noticed about the ear 2 is how comfortable they are. Unlike my airpods pro’s, these actually stay in my ear and don’t fall out after 10 mins of wearing them. They’re much more comfortable than I expected them to be that i’m actually using them more than my airpods.

Sound quality is right up there too, if you’re like me and prefer your headphones to sound more bassy, the ear 2’s won’t disappoint you one bit. The Nothing X app has an equaliser with a bass boost option and it really works wonders. Definitely recommend these for EDM or hip hop listeners.

Overall I think they’re excellent value for money really happy with them.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent fitment and sound quality

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersDue to an ear condition I can’t use in-ear canal earphones and AirPods aren’t ideal for an Android phone. I have the Nothing Phone (1) and this pairs perfectly with them. Their ‘open’ design does have some inherent limitations: The sound quality is pretty good, though of course not incredible; and while it can do ‘noise suppression’ as of a recent firmware update installed via the Nothing X app, it isn’t full Active Noise Cancellation like on the Nothing Ear (2). But the design is sleek, especially the case with its swivel. It pairs nicely with my phone which lets me easily see the battery levels of left, right, and case itself. It charges quickly. Battery life is pretty good. Most importantly for me at least: they’re really comfortable and don’t cause irritation for my ears. I can’t really complain given the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value for money, stylish, good battery life

Was looking forward to getting these once they released. After using them for a month I can say that they are 100% worth the price tag.

Premium earbuds at a decent price. Noise cancelling is really good. Maybe not as good as the airpods pro but that’s a different price point.

    The transparency mode is brilliant.
These buds are very comfortable and after hours of use they don’t become uncomfortable.

The design is next level! No other earbuds except the 1st gen even compare to how these look. The earbuds design is amazing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic

For the price, these are decent headphones. The noise cancellation definitely isnt the best, but I’ve used on several flights and it does a decent job of getting rid of constant background noise like aircon.

Build wise, they’re OK. The case feels a bit delicate but the headphones themselves seem good.

Audio is generally decent. I’m no audiophile and for me they seem perfectly fine.

The touch functions can be a bit temperamental, but features such as auto turning off when removing them from your ears.

Overall, I think these are decent at the price point and good for an audience looking for decent but not mind-blowing performance

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersA surprisingly good product from Nothing, at the current price point on Amazon they are half the price of AirPods 3 while actually performing better than competition.

They look tiny and stunning and sit comfortably in my ears. Because they are so small and light they don’t fall off easily no matter how I shake my head.

When put into the ear they recognise they are in and play a satisfying sound.

The sound quality is remarkably good for non-isolating earbuds. Because they are non-isolating you have full spatial awareness and can avoid weird feeling when eating or drinking while using these.

There is a good amount of base to be heard once you tweak the EQ, which works really well. The EQ can be adjusted once through the app, the setting is then remembered by the ‘ear (stick)’ for any other device. There is a new firmware update, which seems to improve the sounds a bit.

It has touch controls on the stems to adjust volume, answer calls and navigate playlists. These controls are also customisable in the app!

Call quality is no different from other top products in this category. And battery life is superb.

Really can’t fault this product in any way. Ear (sick) look really cool in the ear and people notice I am wearing something unique and start asking where to get one.

I purchased these when they were on offer at 75. These are the first wireless headphones I’ve bought and am really happy with the purchase.

The sound quality is great. The ANC is awesome. They’re so comfortable to wear and stay in place with no issues at all.

I have the Nothing Phone 1 and these connect with no issues at all. The user interface on the phone is great and the user interface one the headphones themselves is also great. You can program what different taps and holds on each headphone does and this is really useful.

All in all I’m extremely happy with these.

Those pair of buds are very powerful bass boosters. I was looking for wireless buds that could replace my Sony Extra bass wired headphones. I have bought huwaiewa free bud 4i and Beats Studio Buds but had to return them all back for luck of bass or agronomics issues and all of them would not have a case wireless charging.
Nothing ear1 buds have it all. Cool design with wireless case charging and absolutely stunning sound quality. Noise cancelling and stop play function if you take one bud off put it back it will resume play. If you thing this is all obvious functions which all bud brands suppost to have then you wrong. In my opinion it is very similar to apple airpod Pro for functionality plus better bass quality which apple missing. I have bought mine for 99 which is absolutely right for what you get.

Exactly what I was looking for!

After using Air Pod Pros for two years, I can say Nothings earbuds compare favourably. Great sound quality, & the transparency/noise cancelling works okay, only minor issue is some noises produce an uncomfortable static. For example when I am opening my front door, the rattling keys causes a terrible static. Rarely an issue, but it’s there.

The main problem with ear buds is the constant disconnecting. Once or twice every ten minutes or so they will stutter, stop playing for 2-3 seconds, then resume. This has happened since I opened the box. It isn’t product breaking, but for the price I’d expect better. Solid 4/5

I bought these along side a set of sennheisers to compare the two and see which I preferred. Immediately I knew I’d be keeping these. They were far more comfortable than the sennheisers and the audio quality from these were superior.

I’ve used these headphones daily for a week now and I’m really impressed with them.
Everything about them feels high end, even the packaging they came.
The app is really useful for adjusting settings, connectivity is almost instant, audio quality is fantastic, battery life is very impressive given the ear buds size.

They’re comfortable and light weight even when I’ve been wearing them for long periods.

Got them while they were on sale which was an added bonus.

    In my opinion they’re a 10/10

Finally, after trying a few cheap wireless earbuds, a pair that work, sound and feel great. Changing tracks, volume, pause and play work seamlessly. No heavy tapping – very easy to use. They sound damn good to me. Most of all these are comfortable. I usually hate in ear headsets, but these are very light and don’t jam into your ear. The connection is pretty rock solid. One dropout in about four hours of listening which in a urban area is good. (I’ve never has a 100% foolproof bluetooth headset yet) They look good and then case feels solid. USB C and a great app also. Recommended.

Noise canceling is amazing especially these being my first proper expensive ish headphones. Only thing is dust gets inside and can be seen I also have the nothing phone and have the same issue I think this is the downside of things being transparent. 9/10

    Where to start. Good things:

    1) For wireless buds, these sound really quite good, and don’t seem so suffer the fate of bluetooth compression as much as buds like the Galaxy Buds do.

    2) They look awesome, and so does the case

    3) Battery is pretty good and I am yet to go flat during the day.

    4) Fairly comfortable to wear, but I do wish they had a smaller set of tips for the buds.

But. Theres a few… issues with them. Ranging from annoying to serious flaws that can leave me put off using them.

    1) The noise cancellation is nortorious for turning its self off.

    2) The touch controls are god awful and way too sensitive, even just adjusting the fitting can make them pause your music, skip songs or turn noise canelling off (bring back buttons.) It gets so annoying that it often leaves me just putting them away and not bothering with them.

    3) The buds often just pause my music for no reason or cut out for a few second, desipite me not touching them. However this happens rare enough for me to just.. deal with it. Its not common at all.

So.. overall. Sound great, fit great, look geeat, battery is great and the noise cancelling when it works is pretty great. But the little technical issues can make them a bit of a pain to use at times. So… I do recommend them but, only if your temper isn’t short when it comes to the touch controls and bugs.

Good noise cancellation and sound quality – tweaked by Sweden’s Teenage Engineering. Nothing is quite a seamless as an AirPod with a iPhone, but for the price the Ear(1)s are well worth a look.

We have several pairs and I often use them for Teams/Zoom calls for work quite effectively – as well as shutting out the world on runs, walks, commuting, or flights. Regular software updates have also made them better. A good sound, decent battery life, and a little bit different.

Do exactly what they said they’d do, very happy with them, as my first pair of wireless earphones took a little getting used to on the control, I’d go to make sure they were in my ear and pause by accident but this was only for like a week really, fit so well too! Been scared to get a pair as they’re not the cheapest and was worried about falling out but I’ve had no such issues 🙂

I bought these when they were on offer. So far they look great and work really well. The noise cancellation is excellent. The only issue I have noticed is every now and again the connection will drop. Only for a second or two, and it reconnects itself but can be a little annoying. But for the price I paid I have to say that I m impressed with them.

Obviously these are not the be all and end all of wireless eatphones, however for the low price you get a lot for your money. The ANC isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty good, the battery life is excellent, they’re extremely comfortable and they have deep, punchy bass with a crisp and sparkly top end. Absolutely recommended for the price

The Nothing ear buds are really good. Noise cancellation very good not top tier but they do a very good job. The sound quality is great and theres a few presets you can select via the app for more bass ect. The volume controls take a little getting used but work very well. The buds look amazing… All in all I’m very happy with my purchase

Love the design, cove the case.

The buds created a nice seal right out of the box with the medium tips.

Went straight to tidal and started listening to a variety of tracks from different genres that I’m fairly familiar with.

Sound signature – relatively accurate across the frequency range.

Lows – extremely impressive! They go deep, deeper than I initially expected.

Mid bass – kicks are nicely balanced with the lows however the snare appears slightly recessed for my taste.

Mids & higher mids – quite forward in the mix compared to the trebble. Can be slightly peaky around the 5k area but not overly so.

Top/trebble – this is the part that lacks ever so slightly… Seems recessed in comparison to the rest of the frequency range, missing that “sparkle”… If you throw on an overly bright mix of a track, it almost sounds normal. Couple of dB boost around 16k does help.

Noise cancelling is good and blocks out quite an amount of surrounding noise.

Ambient mode is adequate… Not the greatest but I can’t grumble at the price at all.

Summary – great for genres that span into the lower register. The bass is seriously impressive. For the price they are great. They look excellent and sound pretty good

I have personally bought so many ‘air pod’ style in ear earphones since I lost my apple pro air pods, I’ve gone for super cheap to mid range, the nothing air pods have been the best I’ve had since my air pods vanished. The app on my phone is brilliant at controlling sound and the touch elements on the ear buds themselves is excellent. If you are looking for a mid range product then these are up there. Add in the look and you have a winner.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the first product in a long time that I’m not returning, despite it still having issues, because I love them! And I’m hoping future firmware updates will fix the remaining bugs.

    Pros:
    – The build quality is excellent. The case feels strong, as do the buds, and the aesthetic is fantastic.
    – The comfort is spot on. They’re small and light and even more comfortable than my AirPods Pros.
    – The sound is decent. Not audiophile quality but still pretty good for casual listening. The preset equalisers are limited but they do offer a slight improvement, especially the extra bass one.
    – ANC and transparency are solid. Not as good as the AirPods Pros but not many earbuds are, and the price difference is 100+ so I wasn’t expecting them to be.
    Cons:
    – Touch controls are a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it doesn’t register your taps or swipes, but not often, and when the swipe for volume works it’s brilliant.
    – Sound cut outs. This is the main issue I have with these earbuds, the dropouts. I’m assuming it’s the connection that’s dropping and it cuts the audio for a few seconds, then comes back on. Or it skips through the beginning of a song at random. This is a common fault with these and apparently it’s been improved with firmware updates, but there’s still a way to go before they’re completely fixed.

These issues are frustrating and make them too unreliable for regular use, but, I love everything else about them I’m not sending them back. I did get them in the sale but even at full price I’d keep them. They’re that unusual product you fall in love with, despite their issues, and hold onto in the hope that the glitches will be fixed.

So, I would recommend these if you’re looking for something different and you have patience, because I think they’re worth it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was super lucky and got these for 50. These replace my expensive Pixel Buds and I use a Pixel 6 pro so did not think that was going to happen.

They work great and the ANC is freaky to say the least; you can even use the ANC without music, etc. so can just cut the word out when you need and we all need that every now and again.

They work brilliantly with my Pixel 6 pro and my PC; unfortunately you can’t hotswop e.g. Have both devices connected at the same time, but it is pretty easy to jump from one to the other.

They are so comfortable it is ridiculous; they are the only earphones that have never hurt my ears; never given me an ear infection and just work.

The battery life is much better than my Pixel Buds even with the ANC and I use them a lot on calls which are super clear. On long calls if the battery starts to run down you can put one back in the charger, carry on your call and in 10 mins the Earbud is ready for another few hours; brilliant.

I gave my Pixel Buds away, these are great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought these after reading several mixed reviews. Was initially worried about them falling out of my ears, as i’d previously been using in ear headphones with more of a sport fit, however they have never fallen out so far even when running.
The sound quality is great and almost competes with headphones way more expensive than these, although the mixer options on the app don’t add a great deal of control and I usually just stick to the balanced mode.

My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the connectivity issues people seem to mention. Sometimes the sound will drop out for a few seconds. I’ve updated to the latest firmware, but this hasn’t completely resolved the issue. Hoping that this can be solved with further updates though.

Got discounted for prime day and it is a steal for that price. I have had my beloved Sony WF-1000XM4 wireless earphones for about a year until they sadly died last week. Looking for a replacement but not wanting to spend another 250, I remembered about a company called ‘Nothing’ that I had seen a few months prior. Now while I’m not an audiophile, I have experience with some very nice headphones / IEMs & good audio quality is important to me. I began looking at reviews and articles, and was struck by their rather unique, small form-factor design, as well as the generally very good reviews. I decided to bite the bullet and place the order.

As soon as they arrived on my doorstep, I was impressed by the packaging. The box and the overall brand is plastered with a very unique visual style, very clean and minimal, something you’d expect from a much more established brand. Clearly a lot of work has gone into this brand identity.

The unboxing experience was very pleasant, everything was packaged very cleanly, with minimal text or unnecessary extras. The box contains; the earphones nested within their charging case with pre-applied medium size ear-tips, some minimal paperwork – printed atop some very nice quality black card, a small cardboard insert containing some additional silicon ear-tips (Small and Large) and a very nice quality USB-C to USB-A cable.

Upon taking the earphones out of the packaging, I was shocked with how nice the charging case feels in the hand. The photos make it look like thin clear plastic, but it’s surprisingly substantial and very nice quality. It has some weight to it, although is on the bigger side where charging cases are concerned. It still fits just fine into a pocket. The earphones themselves also feel extremely well-built and click perfectly into the charging case with no force. The hinge is very solid with no wobble and shuts with a satisfying ‘click’. I have rather small ear canals and found the small tips fit perfectly into my ears. I can swing my head as hard as I like with no risk of them falling out.

    So… How do they sound?
Simply put? I was blown away. In many cases, better than my old trusty XM4’s at less than half the price. I primarily listen to metal, classical a bit of rap and podcasts, but found they are extremely well-balanced for all genres. The bass is solid, but the accuracy of the mids and highs is what struck me. They are considerably better than my Sony’s. They sound every bit as good, and better in some ways. Ear fatigue was non-existent even after an extended listening session. While I absolutely do own IEMs that sound better, they are significantly more expensive (250 – 300) and I would argue that these wireless earphones beat just about anything in their price range.

Overall the Nothing Ear (1) is a fantastic product. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great listening experience without breaking the bank. You can not do better in this price range, and they have the build / sound quality of much more established, expensive brands.

    Something Different!

These normally sell for 99 but you can sometimes get a little discount on it. I think I paid 87 for them.

These are great for it’s price. Noise cancellation is excellent. They look great. The bass is very lacking even when I use their app and tune the EQ. That’s my only complaint.

The controls are easy to use. You can change some gestures on the app but not all.

These do have wireless charging which wasn’t obvious on the product page.

I’m not a fan of the design of standard AirPods around the same price and much prefer a proper in ear type but couldn’t justify the added expense of the AirPod Pros. I came across these after reading multiple reviews and thought I’d give them a whirl. I have not been disappointed.

    Sound quality perfect for me
    Mic great
    Noise cancelling great
Features – wireless charging and the stand doubles up as a phone stand
    Battery life great

The only thing I have sometimes a slight issue with is, is the volume control. I do think this is user error rather than product error though.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBought these along with many others when they were first released. I believed the hype and they were terrible. Connection issues, dropping out randomly, had a mind of their own. I returned them.

Fast forward to May 2022 and I decided to give them another go since the firmware had been updated. Sorted! At least mine are. They had the same issues out of the box so my heart sank, but once I updated the firmware they have been faultless for a couple of weeks. I use them daily on multiple calls for work. In and out the box, connecting and then put away again. Perfect every time.

The reason for four stars is the ANC. Not as good as AirPod Pros. The best I’ve tried are Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros and they don’t come close but I like the fit in my ear which is the main reason I’m pleased with these and the fact they have addressed the issues.

I’ll be keeping them this time.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon but don’t leave many reviews. These deserved it I felt.
I saw an mkbhd video on YouTube on these. The founder of Nothing was the co-founder of OnePlus and I have had a couple of their phones and currently use a Nord which I really like.
Cracking price on Amazon for the black version so I treated myself.
Most important use is going to the gym where a combination of good ANC (to cancel out the background bad music) and great sound quality is what I want. I had been using a pair of Sony WF-SP800N buds. The sound is good but the ANC only average.
The moment I put the ear (1)s in I thought the sound was great. Then I realised that the ANC was really good. Way better than the Sonys. Back from a trip to the gym earlier today using the ear (1) and I’m really happy. Background noise cancelled out really effectively and tunes pumping.
Too early to comment on battery life but based on first impressions I’d definitely buy them again.

These headphones are a great solution to Active Noise Cancellation earphones, at a great price.
The only negative I would give is that Podcasts seem to be mixed quieter, so if you are on a particularly loud train, some noise may bleed in.

Overall, highly recommend, they are stylish, cheaper than competitors and sound great with good bass and Mids.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThese earbuds were massively, massively over-hyped before launch. So when they came out (and had a few bugs / didn’t match that hype) the reviews were naturally disappointing. But months later (and some software updates later) I decided to test them fully and review them from a neutral perspective, to see how they ‘really’ compare to the competition and…I was pleasantly surprised. Are these on the level of the flagships from Sony/Bose etc? No. And the hype suggested they would be. But are they amazing value for money at 100? Absolutely.

I reviewed these on YouTube as part of a ‘best earbuds under $100’ video, and they performed really well. Since I bought them on here I decided to share with you all the review and also the clip from that video featuring the ear(1)s. So that’s what the video is and below is the written form of the review in case you’d rather read instead:

What the tech world has reached a consensus on is the design, with many (including myself) calling these the best looking earbuds on the market. This transparent design looks awesome – the craftsmanship is second to none, and I personally love this minimal design that, as they say, highlights the beauty of tech.
It’s not just for the earbuds, but the charging case tooand I think these look especially good in this new black colour. You’re not gonna be mistaking this unique design for any other earbuds.

The touch controls here are great, they’re responsive and the contact area is surprisingly wide. They’re one of only a few earbuds to support a swipe gesture for volume – and this timeit actually works. I had close control over each volume increment, and the glossy outer surface meant I could swipe without knocking these from my ears (though this is still possible if you aren’t careful). These also have wearing detection and customisation in the app – so the controls are almost perfect. But customisation is limited and there’s sadly no single tap option.

Comfort is another thing they’ve nailed, I’m talkingforget you’re wearing them, kind of comfortable. They’re lightweight and form a gentle seal in the ear, so I can easily wear these all day. I can just about run with them as well, and they have IPX4 protection, but I wouldn’t trust them to stay in place for most other workouts.

The gentle seal means the passive noise isolation isn’t amazing, even with the larger eartips. However the active noise cancellation was surprisingly good. Obviously it’s not flagship level performance, but you can clearly hear the reduction in noise turning this on. The transparency mode though, is very good, clearly amplifying your surroundings. There’s still a bug here though where there’s a faint hiss that seems to fade in and out sometimes in transparency mode. Inaudible with music playing, but still a bug – so for all the firmware update improvements we’ve seen since their launch, that minor annoyance still exists.

The main improvements have been to connectivity, these are now very reliable, offer single earbud use, fast pairing and show no noticeable latency with videos. There is a dedicated low-latency mode here as well, which gamers may be interested in, but otherwise it’s not really necessary. On one day I did have one earbud randomly disconnect – but a quick power off and on with the case seemed to fix it. So maybe not 100% of the issues are fixed, but on the wholemy experience has been pretty consistent.

Battery life is a big weakness though, you only get 5 hours on a single charge with up to 34 in the case. They do support wireless charging though, which is nice, and actually these are the only earbuds in this video to offer ANC, transparency, wearing detection and wireless charging – so these actually have the most complete feature set.

The mic quality was really decent as well. My voice sounded really clear and the earbuds isolate my voice well from the background noise – so phone call performance was very good.

As for the audio qualityit’s good, better than I expected actually. These have good clarity, are well-detailed and are leaning slightly towards a bright sound signature. The bass is tight and punchy, but I’m sure some will find this lacking. EQ options unfortunately are very limited – you’ve only got these 4 options. There’s a distinct difference with each mode, but I’d love to be able to customise this myself.
The overall sound quality should be good enough to please most – but some of our other entries like Lypertek and Sennheiser’s are a step up.

Having tested these throughly myself, I can understand why the initial reviews were so underwhelming. As the flagship killing phenomenon these earbuds were touted to be, sure, they leave a lot to be desired. But as a $99 pair of earbuds, as they should be viewed, they’re actually exceptional value for money. I was left genuinely shocked by just how good these turned out to be for the price.

    Sound – great
    Mic – mediocre or passable
ANC – not strong enough to drown out the noise on the tube
Battery – reliable and lasts at least 4 hours
Case – hard to open one handed but feels sturdy

    Useful features
    – wireless charging, fast charging
    – Slide on each ear to raise and lower volume
    – customisable gestures, reliable and accurate

I like everything about these headphones. They’re the first pair of bud earphones that have not made me think ‘they’re ok but pants compared with my big over ear, Sony XM3’s’

Good product, I’m quite happy with it. Pretty low profile so I can lay my head without it pressing into my ear. It sometimes cuts out for a second however, I don’t know if that is my phone. The range could be longer, With my old ear phones I could have my phone upstairs and listen to it from downstairs but not a huge complaint.

Great price and great earphones. Got them for flying as my last earphones fell in a bucket of water and didn’t recover. Will update next time I fly. Sound really nice.

But not highfi level so don’t expect audio excellence. Anc is decent (great for the price) but not as good as overhear headphones on the market.
Use in the office and battery life is good but won’t get you through a whole day’s use (especially with Anc on)

I rarely rave about a product.. but these.. are amazing.. they literally connected instantly got my name up I didn’t even have to go into Bluetooth settings.. there’s an app that pops straight up. You can set treble .. base etc see what battery power each earpiece has . I love the charging case.. aesthetics are important I like things to look good and these cover it all.. worth the money on a par with airpods but I really am struggling they could be better..

For 99 quid these are serious contenders. Everything is good enough for a commuter like me. The sound and noise cancellation aren’t maybe be quite as good as my sennheiser however they are without a doubt the most comfortable buds I’ve ever worn and with small ears like mine it makes them my number one choice by a large margin. Actually forget they are even in …

I almost never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so in this instance such is the quality of these headphones.

From innovative, stylish packaging (no battling with plastic/scissors etc just to open your purchase) to amazing product design and stunning sound/performance, the attention to detail is superb as well as being so comfortable to use.

They knock the Apple airpods into a cocked hat and, at the head scratchlingly low price of 80.00, ‘Nothing’ is a company to watch. If they produce other products of this quality and value, all I can say is watch out Apple!!

They look amazing, they sound amazing and they fit great! I was genuinely shocked when comparing it with my AirPods Pro… The latter does give a bit sharper and clearer sound but the Nothing Ear (1)s have a lot more bass to them and sound a bit fuller, which I like.

    Negatives:
    – Plays well with iPhones but it’s just not the same as the AirPod Pros in terms of features (and I still would rather have Nothing Ear (1)s!!!)
    – The case, while looks great, it is a bit bigger than it needed to be

I purchased these for about 80 and compared to the AirPod Pro pricing… You could buy 3 of these for the same price.

Simply fantastic for the price, bought to replace AirPod Pros after many people making comments about sounding far away when on calls, no such complaints with these and the sound quality is superb – one comment is that I wish their app allowed a ‘Flat’ or simply the ability to disable EQ but no doubt this will come in time, after just a few weeks they’ve released to minor firmware updates so seem very well supported – such good value.

Have used these for about a month now and have found them to be superb.
Very comfortable, sync brilliantly with my Samsung phone and with really excellent sound quality.
Noise cancellation is not exceptional but then again I can only compare them to my Bose QuiteComfort over-ear headphones and so this is probably not a fair, like for like, comparison.
If I lost these, I’d buy another pair in a heartbeat. Exceptional quality and performance.

Having had Skullcandy Indy earbuds for years I really wasn’t looking for another set at the cheaper end of the spectrum as the sound is so flat and they don’t fit well at all. I’ve been hanging on for the airpod pro 2s and was just looking for a cheap wired set of earphone when these popped up on a YouTube video and I have to say I’m amazed.

The ANC is decent for this price level and the sound is great too. Now I’m not an “audiophile” so I can’t vouch if there’s too much base or treble etc. but everything sounds good. They also connect to separate devices simply and quickly too without having to pair each time I change. The main thing that I love though is the fit. I’ve just done 2hrs of gardening and they didn’t budge! They were so comfortable that, if it want for the music playing I wouldn’t have noticed them.

These work, 87 on offer at the time, I enjoy these but the latest firmware seems like it reduced volume and clarity from the Eq of these as Nothing doesn’t give you a full customisable EQ in the app.

However, for the price these are stylish, unique, sound Okay (not amazing but okay), the bass is punchy, can sound a little boomy at 80% volume and over, mids, highs and lows are clean but not the best, not very crispy earbuds, these are designed to work for modern pop, electronic, hip-pop, and maybe a little bit rap. Vocals are not very present but are okay, I used them for podcasts quite a bit and never had problems but normally service’s like Spotify and YouTube tend to band their own EQ’s for this.

If you are looking to stand out for style, decent audio, and ANC these are all around okay.

As a former breakfast show broadcaster, I do considerable amount of research before buying any audio equipment. When I decided to buy bluetooth earphones I was met with a dizzying array of options, but when I focused on cost and quality, my research whittled those down to a handful. My wife has a pair of Apple AirPods Pro, which are amazing but pricey. At the end, these Nothing ear (1) buds came out amongst the top few choices. What really attracted me was the industrial design and the company’s ethos. I liked the fact it’s a London-based startup using Swedish technology. The buds arrived bang on time, were easy to set up on my iPhone and Mac, and sound amazing – as good as the AirPods Pro, and so good, that I bought a second pair for my son.

A chaque fois.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThese earphone are simply amazing.

FIT – they come with several silicone replacements to fit different ear sizes. I’ve used airpod pros and galaxy buds in the past and found these fit incredible. I wear them for 3+ hours at a time and never feel like they slip out or I never feel any discomfort.

SOUND – I listen to Apple Music lossless audio and podcasts. With the lossless audio these absolutely shine. Never heard anything sound so crisp and clear, literally hear everything on the track! Even the artists taking there breathe. The sound stage is great, I can hear things behind me at times and if you find a good track these are unmatched.

NOISE CANCELLATION AND TRANSPARENCY – the both modes are good I’d rate them 7.5/10. They do enough to cancel noise and the transparent mode is good enough too. I do just listen on normal mode as I find they offer a nice seal so don’t need these modes. I have found that listening with ANC and my volume up to the highest that the audio quality suffers but the remedy to this is to just turn it off and the sound quality is better.

They look so great when you have them in your ears by far the best looking earphones out there. The price is simply crazy considering all the things I’ve listed above, I’d be happy paying double for these. So great having earphones that actually fit my ears and not only that they stay put too.

Can’t recommend them enough! Such a great product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThey are great. The sound is crisp and clear but with plenty of great bass, the earphones build quality is excellent and they look stunning. They are plenty loud and unlike the galaxy buds i used to have where i could keep them at max volume no problems, these get so much louder. The ANC is also acceptable and the transparency sounds basically the same as if they weren’t in your ear which is really good. I only have had them for 2 days but i gotta say, the battery life is still great. I won’t be listening for more than 4 hours and the fact that you can charge the case for just 10 minutes and get 8 hours of battery life with the case is great! The case can be a bit big but i don’t mind it. The earbuds themselves look amazing

The only other cons i found are that the equaliser is pretty basic and the case hinge isn’t the most sturdy.

    Overall these earbuds are good.

Update: they fixed most issues! Good job nothing!
And one more point now thag i used them for a long time.. the case battery lasts an amazing amount of time. I remember having to charge my galaxy buds almost every other day, but i barely charge these every fortnigh

Probably one of the greatest and coolest earphones that you can buy for 100. Sound quality is on point with all the other high end headphones of the market. One thing to keep in mind is that your able to change how the sound using the app. Noise cancellation is ‘okay’, it will make a noisy environment quieter, but you will not be in your own bubble if this is something that your looking for. On the other hand battery life is great. You could probably use them for a whole week and not have to recharge them (depending on the usage of course). Also, as an added bonus (and a great one at this point), is the design which deficiently is the cherry ob top of the cake. Overall, great earphones, at a great price.

I’ll admit that these don’t have the best sound quality going. I’m holding it for an update to the app which will give more customisation to the graphic equaliser.

That said, sound is still decent and they look fantastic. Battery life is very impressive, too.

Navigation while listening to music is easy and intuitive. Plus, the noise cancelling is very impressive (coming from someone who hasn’t used anything with ANC before.)

I would recommend these simply for the price point and aesthetics.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThese are excellent value at more than half the price of competitors. They look very stylish, managing to look retro and futuristic at the same time. They are very comfortable and light. I was surprised, given the mixed reviews out there, to find that they sound very good. Perhaps the “v-shape” sound curve suits me (and I listen to mainly guitar music) but I didn’t think they lack bass, and the top end is pleasing and detailed. I have a pair of Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 and I wouldn’t say there is a huge difference (the Melomania has a little too much bass but a much more detailed midrange – the treble range is better on the Ear 1).

The noise cancellation is fantastic. These are my first ever true wireless ANC earbuds so I am hardly an expert, but again I was expecting something a bit half baked given the reviews out there. Not so. Within 5 mins of getting these I was marvelling at standing next to the kettle and turning the sound off (ANC mode) and on (transparent mode). It’s very well executed and effective.

The app is simple and nice looking. The case can be charged wirelessly. They’re less than 100. What more do we want?
