I bought this to make fruit smoothies but all the recipes seem to include vegetables. I’m sure these would be very healthy and great for those looking for anyone looking for that type of result, but I’m not into kale and spinach with my breakfast! It does work for fruit smoothies – you just have to work out your own recipes!
Literally one of the best things I’ve ever bought and I use it daily. Blends ice really well and my smoothies are always smooth and delicious. Highly Recommend!
The delivery service was amazing we got next day delivery. It’s so easy to use and comes with a recipe book and a book about fruits, nuts/seeds and greens! It also comes with a poster on how to make the best smoothie. The blade is so good at slicing through anything that you want to blend. It’s so simple and easy to use and makes the best smoothies. I would so recommend I love this it’s so good for more than just smoothies.
I read soooo many reviews and descriptions of other blenders before settling on this one. I am delighted with it! Our family uses it daily. We mainly use frozen fruit to make smoothies but have also made frothy, thick milkshakes too! An awesome bit of kit. Extremely easy to clea
Delighted with this item. Had one which was about 15 less bought three years ago and was woefully underpowered compared to this. Its like a porche compared with the old machine. Decent accessories too.
I love it, super powerful, easy to use, makes delicious truly-smooth smoothies.
I have to say it is a tad bit too small if, like me, you would make smoothies for all the family! I think the biggest cup is circa 1/2 litre… I now make mine in two stages to get to the full litre smoothie… but it is ok.
I love that this product is so easy to use and clean. Just rinse with warm water immediately after and shake with a bit of soap and the blade screwed on, rinse and done!
I mainly purchased to include more healthy snacks in mine and my family’s day, especially my daughter. She’s 10 and rejects most vegetables and many fruits/nuts. With this bad boy you just put it all the ingredients together and blend into a smoothie and she loves it! #parenthack 😉
This was bought as a gift for my son, as we have had ours many years. I cannot fault these! They are an amazing piece of kit & pulverise every bit of the fruit or vegetable so that you can drink all the goodness! I wouldn’t be without mine!
I really am pleased with this – I use it twice a day for smoothies / protein shakes and my daughter is often making herself healthy blends with it.
The best thing is how easy it is to clean between uses – as with other models which are not so quick & easy to clean, you tend to get put off and the whole thing gets put away in a cupboard.
It looks nice too – would definitely recommend
This is the best blender.
Ive used a fair few blenders and this is so powerful it will blend anything 100%
It’s always annoying to blend something and you get a clump of unblended produce, the bullet doesnt have that problem it blends.
It feels really high quality tontouch too with its metal finish. Also it has a bit of weight to it.
I have had it for 2 years and it works brilliantly, ive tried the cheaper blender and they can do the job but at more of a hassle but this will just simpky donthe job first time no messing around hoping it blended everything.
I previously bought a nutribullet from high street tv when they were initially produced & it came with several blades & lids which I gave to a friend & decided to purchase another. Amazon’s nutribullet was cheaper than what I initially paid & had just one extracted blade & lids. It works amazingly & would buy it again as a gift.
Had this a few months now so it’s had plenty of use. Can honestly say it’s excellent, smooths, no bits clogging up straws (silicon straws are excellent too that I brought seprate!)
I’ve had one before when living at home so knew they were good. For years i’ve bought cheap version/different brands. I shouldn’t have bothered these really are the bes
This must be the best money spent ever. I ordered it on Friday, and got delivered the next day before midday. Amazing service. It’s not only good for shakes and smoothies, but when I made an iced coffee this afternoon I noticed perfectly frothed milk… I think it would be ideal for making cappuccino/latte at home too!
I have been making shakes as part of a diet. I have been using my elderly blender which works pretty well but leaves lumps – an unpleasant textural experience! The nutribullet makes a really smooth, creamy shake, very quickly. I read they were noisy but it is quieter than my blender.
Unfortunately the first one I ordered wasn’t delivered because they couldn’t locate my address & have apparently returned it to Amazon. Amazon don’t seem to have received it & I can see no way of contacting them so currently, out of pocket.
So I’ve been used to using the Breville smoothie maker, which is about 30 pounds cheaper but has a weaker engine. Just made two smoothies for my family and god I recommend this if you’re used to using the breville maker. It’s SO good. It even blends the smaller pips so the entire thing is smooth and creamy! I’m very happy with this and I would recommend it.
Absolutely brilliant!! Have been a smoothie fan for years using a Warring blender. Also put up with the lumps! But no more – the Nutribullet makes everything smooth and delicious. We all love it!! Thanks Nutribullet.
Used this every day since purchase and it has served me very well making smoothies out of frozen and fresh fruit.
I’ve seen lots of reviews mention leakage and difficulty cleaning but, based on my experience, I question how this is possible and whether these are due to improper use.
The only issue I’ve had is when giving a thorough clean the rubber seal can slip off from the blade chamber but this is easily pulled and prodded back into place.
I bought this for my husband because he has gone off food lately so I thought I would make him some nutritious drinks to fill him up and get some vitamins into him. Well worth the money.
Having read a LOT of reviews on this product, I finally decided to buy one and am not disappointed. I have become somewhat evangelical about it and am telling everyone I know about the wonders of this product. I own a traditional smoothie maker, but it cannot deal with frozen fruit, nuts or seeds. This dynamo of a machine makes short work of all frozen fruit, seeds, nuts and more. I have never considered putting veg in a smoothie, I mean, why would I? However, having read up on the recipes I’m loving making green smoothies with kale, spinach, carrot and more! It’s a fantastic way of getting raw nutrients. Best of all, I can sneak them to my non-suspecting husband and he has no idea he’s having all those veggie goodies this is a fabulous piece of kit. DEAD easy to clean, it does not leak and whizzes delicious smoothies up in seconds. Don’t hesitate, get one.
Fantastic for smoothie making (does not do food processing stuffs or hot food). I have a banana frozen berry oats & soy milk smoothie in the morning takes no time and easy to wash up. My only criticism is it is a bit loud but I guess all these things are. I don’t know why you’d go for a more powerful versio
Cleaning is a doddle. Using is a doddle.
I’ve never consumed so much frozen fruit…
I was recommended this product due to its ease of use and ease of cleaning/maintenance. I was well informed and I’ve enjoyed using the blender. It also encourages me to get my five a day because (at the risk of repeating myself) it’s so easy to use…
Buy one.
Bought for daughter and shes pleased as it’s much easier to use than her juicer. It was well packaged and arrived on time.
Really fantastic product. Comes with recipes and is easy to assemble and use. Very versatile you can use this for smoothies, margaritas etc. Cleaning is a doddle and would highly recommend this. Best feature is the ability to easily handle frozen fruit – many market alternatives aren’t as strong with this. A present well received
Awesome easy to use gadget.
Comes with smoothie ingredients list
Heavy good quality metal.
Not overly noisy
Bought this a few months ago as a birthday gift, still very satisfied.. it can be a little difficult to clean depending on what you use it for.. it would be ideal if it had a small hole so some steam would escape, so easier to do soup etc. but that’s not really what it’s for. Great with frozen ingredients as well as fresh.. make sure you wait until the blades stop spinning before removing it from the motor otherwise you risk damaging the roters.
Replaced my old one after blades snapped after about 2 years, love this product, will take some beating.
I use to add depth to protein shakes, nuts and salads etc does a great job.
I put the blades top shelf of the dishwasher and on a number of occasions the base has filled with water and needs to strip down to dry out. If not the bearing will corrode and fail. Small issue but its there non the less.
After reading a few of the reviews, all I can say is that people are exagerating about a few things. Firstly this is by far one of the safest smoothie makers you can use purely because of how you turn it on by pushing the whole cup down and twisting. Secondly this is really easy to clean, the blades can be rinsed with running water. Thirdly the blades can chop pretty much anything up that can be made into a smoothie. Comes with 2 cups obviously, but I personally have not used the small one. The handle it comes with is practical.
Bought this as I wanted to be able to make my own smoothies and up my veggie intake. Had this for about three weeks now and I have been using it most days each week. Simple to use and I find it easy to clean – just got to make sure the extractor blade is screwed tightly onto the cup or you will experience leakage. Enjoyed the fresh smoothies and I think my skin looks better and I feel like my energy levels have also improved slightly. I haven’t been craving unhealthy foods as much too since using. Glad I invested in this item so I hope it doesn’t break anytime soon.
This is really easy to use. You just have to remember to put in enough liquid before you blitz. Two sizes of cups provided with a handle too. I love it.
I wanted to but either a blender or a smoothy maker, but preferably something that did both. After watching most of the reviews on YouTube it was clear I would either need to spend over 100 on a dedicated blender or take a punt on one the Nutri-Bullet range. Considering the big price difference I decided to go with the Nutri-Bullet 600 series. I initially looked at the Magic Bullet and whilst it had plenty of accessories it didn’t seem powerful enough. The 600 series works extremely well as an all round blender. It makes short work of ice, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, oats etc etc, It also takes up very little room on the counter top and blends quickly. This version comes with a large and small cup plus a sealing lid and a handle so you can make shakes / soups and take them with you. It feels very well made and is sturdy. The parts feel and appear of a high quality. The Nutr–bullet comes with good instructions and some nice recipes to help you get started. Overall at this point very impressed.
It’s simple to operate, comes with clear instructions, was bigger than I thought it was going to be. I don’t think it would be wise putting anything hot in the beakers as I suspect it would warp them, so everything needs to go in cold. It makes handful of vegetables go a long way so is good for a bit of household economy as well as delivering nutritional benefit. If it’s not too silly to say, you can feel the ease of digestibility of veg you might otherwise have struggled over espacially when you’re an old codger like me. .
I have tried a few if the cheaper ones… Don’t bother. If you follow the instructions you won’t have a problem with the 600w bullet. The quality of this vs same price and cheaper versions is way higher, you can tell from the time required to create a very smooth healthy beverage. 10/10
Top one on my kitchen plot . It’s really do perfect job. Before I buy it I was researched for whole week to compare brands and models . I am 100% sure this Nutribullet is the best choice I ever made. Everything you fill in after 1 min going to perfect smother beverage , healthy drinks goo for whole family including my baby. also btw I make pancakes inside it or any another mixing well ingredients. I am absolutely happy with it .
Purchased with just the two cups which are perfect for me. Can fill large container and what is over, can be transferred to smaller one. Amazed at how quickly it can pruduce the mixture of fruit and,/or veg. If you use frozen fruit this very quickly comes to a pulp and has been superb for the hot summer days this year. Will have a go at soup now and can see no.reason why this would not work a treat. Great machine.
Powerful and does everything you think it can do!makes amazing smoothy and amazing quality. this is my 2nd one the first I’ve had for 3 years! well worth i
We love it!
It’s so easy to use. Looks good.
The ONLY thing that frustrates me is cleaning the blades after each use. It’s incredibly difficult getting under them to ensure it’s clean…I’m worried I’ll slice my fingers off!
But besides that I’m really happy with it.
I absolutely love this. Easy to clean, good fun making new flavour smoothies and even make iced coffee in it for my husband! I then use some of the smoothie I made to pour into ice lolly moulds. Delicious! Also a very speedy process.
Love this, the best purchase of the year so far. This blends almost anything into a lovely smooth drink. You do need to add enough liquid though. Bought alongside Jason Vale’s ‘Super Blend Me’ book. Lost 10lb in 9 weeks and feel so much bette
Works really well and is so easy to use and clean. It cuts through frozen berries easily, but struggles with frozen melon if you cut the chunks too big. It was fine if I sliced the melon in approx 1cm chunks, but couldn’t handle 1″ chunks. I have lost around 4kgs in 6 weeks by replacing my breakfast porridge with a delicious smoothie. The product can’t claim all the credit because I also stopped eating bread, pasta, potatoes, rice and grains. I usually have 100g low fat Greek yogurt, 150g red and black berry fruit, milled flaxseed with nuts (Linwoods), 1 nectarine and use coconut water or alpro coconut milk. I often change it up a bit with avocado, peach, ginger and melon instead of berries. Experiment to your own taste. I find I am easily satisfied through to lunch.
The cup design is really easy to use. Just fill with your foods and liquid, screw the blade cup on, shake and press it on to the base. Once blended, remove the blade cup, screw on the lid and put your breakfast in the fridge ready for the morning. Rinse off the blades a wipe down or put it in the dishwasher.
Don’t kid yourself this is a kitchen gadget for chefs an all. It’s a smoothie maker and that’s it. They mention grinding seeds but I can’t see it doing that. It makes smoothies so if you’re rich enough to have a machine dedicated to that one roll – then this is the Baby. It’s simple, powerful, easy to clean and it makes amazingly smooth smoothies. You can’t go into production because it gets hot and needs a breather but for a couple of smoothies – crack on. In that repect – it’s the dog’s back wheels.
I used to have a Nutribullet which eventually broke down, so I bought this new one and I love it. Simple to clean, easy to use and all the various flavours that you can create make delicious drinks. I have a lot of different types of frozen fruits in the freezer, so a handful of fresh spinach and frozen fruits, some fresh ginger, nuts, flaxseed, lovely – as well as water of course or coconut milk. Gorgeous.
The second Nutribullet I’ve bought and has transformed my eating habits (in a good way!). I make two drinks each day: 1) late morning, 3 tablespoons pinhead oats + banana, frozen raspberries & blueberries + some sunflower & pumpkin seeds mixed into oat milk. 2) late afternoon, spinach, banana, frozen fruit mixed into almond milk. Drinks are delicious and help towards my ‘5 a day’ and I’m hoping that the porridge morning drink will help lower bad cholesterol and the spinach drink will help my eyes.
Love this! Now have fresh juice most mornings, which is obviously a great way to start the day. Also really easy to clean, which is a big problem that I’ve had with other juicers. But the thing that I love the most is that I don’t waste fruit any more – whenever fruit is getting a bit soft or I’m going away and have fruit close to its “use by date”, I just chop it up and chuck it in the freezer, so I can juice it at any time (before I would have chucked it in the bin)

This surpassed my expectations and made me realise how rubbish my previous smoothie maker was. It blitzes smoothie in seconds! My only issue is I would rather it had a button than was operated by pushing the blending cup down, as I want to store the blades in it whilst it’s off-but this functionality makes it dangerous. However that being said I would buy again.
The only issue is when you turn the switch on in the wall the product blends, there is no button on the product as soon as the plug goes in the product blends. Can be a hazard for users. I hope they improve this as it can be dangerous for people unaware.
I am really happy with me NutriBullet 600 series it is faster and much more powerful then others juice extractors or blenders used before ,
Easily in seconds is blending any sort of carotes and any others vegetables ,
Easy to use by anyone , solid , good and safe structure ,
Good value for the money as technology incorporated if priced dubled is still good value if this is the price to be healthy and keep the doctor away ,
I confess that I became highly addicted of me NutriBullet and that I will used every day ,
Is a good investment in health I strongly recommend it !
his was a replacement for a similar product but different brand, I had previously though my old product was great until i got this one, this is defiantly really easy to clean and a lot quieter than my old product. I wish I had bought this one initially. I make a lot of smoothies with this, I have also made humous and pesto. i have a small kitchen too with limited worktop space so this is a great size
Works really well to blitz up even harder to break down foods like kale and spinach. Is equally good for making green smoothies as it is milkshakes, we find a use for it every day and absolutely love it!
This blender was a fantastic item to add to my life. I use it mostly for fruit smoothies and sauces, and I must say it cuts very well. For example, I’ve made garlic pizza sauce with whole garlic cloves and there weren’t any noticeable chunks of garlic. Frozen fruit doesn’t stop it either, but I have yet to try blending ice. It really can’t be any easier to use it, and clean it. When I am done, I simply rinse the blades under running water, and I suggest the same to you to save yourself the hassle of getting in-between the smaller parts.
I have not once regretted having it, if you’d like a high quality, but simple blender I very much recommend this one.
The best juicer as far as I am concerned. Even my 9 year old granddaughter finds it easy to use. Powerful and versatile. The 600 Series model gives a choice of two cup sizes. I would recommend this model as it is powerful enough to deal with course vegetables like celery. A Recipe booklet is enclosed which makes juicing choices an effortless procedure. Ideal for soups and fruity drinks like smoothies. Love it!
It is easy to use, works very well and it well thought out in its design. The accompanying recipe book is very useful for getting you started in understanding how to make balanced juice drinks. I chose this product because I like to have all the fibre etc from the fruit and veg, not just the juice. If you just want juice this is not for you. I love experimenting with this, and every time I learn something new. It is such an easy way to eat much more healthily. I love it.
This is a fantastic gadget which gets lots of use. Ideal for smoothies and mixing diet milkshakes such as Exante. It cuts through ice well. This is the second Nutribullet which I have purchased as the first one became difficult to attach the cups to, it kept jamming. It did last about three years though. I wouldn’t recommend putting the blender tops in a dishwasher as they accumulate water inside. The actual cups wash well in the dishwasher.
Easy to use but may be a problem if you have very weak hands or wrists as you need to twist the cups onto the machine.
I recommend this blender.
Bought for my son. He uses it every day and dutifully takes his very healthy smoothie to the library to keep him going. I am impressed with him and the sturdiness of the machine. He often adds nuts to his smoothies and says these are blended well. He is incredibly pleased with this machine and feels it was excellent value for money given the quality of it.
Bought for a good price on Amazon with next day delivery. The Nutribullit does everything it says on the box.
It’s good looking enough to leave on the kitchen worktop for easy access. We use it most days and the only negative is that I had to buy the Nutribullit smoothie recipe book separately. This is much smaller than I was expecting, with no pictures, and I think it should come gratis with the blender.
I had purchased a cheaper smoothie blender and i got what i paid for! I ended up having to return it for a full refund because it broke after about 4/5 months! So my hubby said to get one of these, 3 times as much in cost……but well worth the money. Very well made, very robust and does the job with ease. Easy to use, easy to clean, i use mine 3 times a day and love i
This is a great piece of kit. Thought this would be a good way of eating healthier (more fruit and veg) but was told by a doctor that blending or juicing releases the natural sugars (fructose ) and it’s healthier eating the fruit and veg as is 🙁 . Still this makes brilliant smoothies.
Actually I love it. Only disappointment is I can’t get at all that lovely smoothie stuck behind the blade. If you add ice, crush it first, it doesn’t like cubes.
Good sturdy machine, well built and solid. Grinds food up fast but if you’re looking for extra smooth smoothies you won’t get them as you are still left with the tiny strawberry pips/ slightly gritty texture. Upon saying that, this machine is far superior to many others on the market.
Arrived the very next day! I have been using it on a daily basis and found it to be very efficient at blending; only needing about 30 seconds or so to reduce the contents of a container to a smooth tasty shake. Apart from the smell from the motor, all seems to be working well as described.
I have the 600 at home and my office has a 900. So i have the privilege of testing the two side by side. The 900 has 2 bigger cups: 1x Oversized Cup (909ml).1 x Tall Cup (680ml). The 600 can handle the 909 ml cups just fine. 600 has the tall cup (680ml), short cup (511ml).
Note the 600 has a new extractor blade to match the 900. When blending fibrous veggies like carrots, celery, kale. The 900 comes out only a little smoother, some people can’t tell the difference. When it comes to blending nuts or frozen fruit. The result is slightly smoother by the 900. But if you keep the them in for longer it will eventually be just as smooth. Noise levels are similar. So the real difference is the cups.
A great bit of kit and a terrific deal for the 8 piece – cheaper than Amazon’s 5 piece and the extra bits are useful, eg the extra cup and stay fresh lid. Ignore the silly reviews that claim it leaks or cuts fingers; the instructions are clear and unambiguous. Makes great smoothies and is so easy to clean. Owners’ videos on YouTube helpful. Always add water up to the Max line. Don’t pack ingredients too tightly. Shake before juicing. I haven’t used the recipe book yet – use your imagination, your taste buds and what’s in your fridge. Only way I’ll eat kale, carrots, beetroot, lemon juice and ginger first thing in the morning. Superb.
I was going to wait until the 900 series was available on Amazon, even if it was more expensive. In the end, I didn’t want to wait and so I ordered the 600 series. This is our second Nutribullet and we are not disappointed. Makes delicious smoothies (and pina coladas 🙂 ) in seconds and is easy to clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.
Perfect for the lazy/bad eater. Delicious Blasts with all the nutrients needed by mixing and matching.
Easy to use and to clean.
I love my nutribullet, easy to use, easy to clean, does what it says on the tin.
The other juicer I had was difficult to clean this one is so much easier to use and clean,so happy with my purchase,I looked at the other reviews before I purchased, they were very helpful.
Arrived the day after ordering it (despite not being on Amazon Prime) in good nick. It is very easy to use, and smoothies can be rustled up in minutes. As a 182cm, 90kg male who does aerobic and resistance exercise, each smoothie alone doesn’t suffice as a meal in itself. You may well need to eat with a salad, and/or your preferred proteins or carbs. The meal or protein powders that you’ll need to augment the various fruit and other goodies are not cheap, so shop around. Likewise, frozen fruit seems to work just as well as fresh fruit, or alongside fresh fruit. Having used my NutriBullet 1-2 times a day for just over a week now as part of a broader diet, I’m already feeling more energised, fresh-faced and generally less bloated. I suspect I’ll need to juggle several varieties to not get bored of smoothies, but that’s a personal point of view. Give it a go. At the very least you’ll cut down on washing up/use of dishwasher space.
Fantastic product. The cups are big enough to get your hand inside, which is good when it comes to washing up !
I didn’t particularly enjoy fruit but now I can get it in a smoothy I feel like a different person.
I’m giving this product 5 stars as can’t find anything wrong with the whole item.
I bought this after doing a bit of research on juicers/blenders and I have to say – I have absolutely no regrets! I’ve had it for a few weeks now and have used it every day. You can make a big or small, add granola, seeds, stick the fruit in with its skin on, etc. It can handle it! So easy to wash up too. Really love the fact it doesn’t take up too much space as I have a small kitchen. I just cannot recommend this highly enough if you are looking for a quick and easy juicer! Go for it! 🙂
I was looking for a juicer, after watching Joe Cross documentary, Fat, sick and nearly dead. I used to have one, years ago and the documentary reminded me of how nice a fresh juice can be. At the same time, knowing that I didn’t need to follow Joe’s liquid diet, but was only after the occasional healthy treat, I couldn’t justify spending too much money or giving up counter space in the kitchen (because let’s face it – the moment you have to store away a kitchen appliance, get it back out and then back in, etc. it’s when you give up using it all together). This led me to look for something cheaper and smaller, but that could be use to produce juices of sort. The reviews were raving about this model of the Nutribullet, so I went for it and was not disappointed.
It is very easy to use and to assemble as well as to clean. I’ve head it for three days and I’ve used it an average of 4 times a day already.
The instructions are clear enough and it comes with a couple of little booklets with recipes, though I enjoy more improvising with what’s in the kitchen.
If you register on their website, you get the one year warranty, which you can also extend further, at a price.
It has a taller cup, which I use for lunch or dinner, and a shorter one which is handy for snack times.
The main difference between a juicer and the Nutribullet is that in the latter there is no filter: a juicer filters the pulp from the juice and releases only juice, obviously, but something like a Nutribullet blends (and well too with four blades) everything, so if you blend celery for exmple, you will eat the bulk fibres too, which are awesome for your body. The main rule is that you need to add liquid (I use unsweetened almond milk or water, but any liquid will do).
I have tried to create different drinks, with very different results (kale+celery+water = evil… But kale+Apple+ginger+water = interesting lunch…and unsweetened almond milk+ Apple+teaspoon of honey+ 4 almonds = tasty breakfast).
One tip regarding Liquids: for diet purposes or uber healthy drinks, you can use plain water. The thing I would advise is to not be too hasty filling the cup with it. There is a max line for liquids, but it doesn’t mean you have to reach it, otherwise you risk ending up with some sort of flavoured water drink, rather than a juice. Put your ingredients first, then add the water to half or thereabouts – if after juicing for a few seconds (pulsing) you think it needs more, open the lid and add it – easier to add than to remove…
I have not added ice cubes, though it seems other customers have, but one of the booklet mentions that you can add crushed ice or frozen veggies, so if you have a bag of frozen broccoli hanging around….
And of course, if you are trying to lose weight don’t go mad with fruit as it contains sugars – natural, but still sugars. For example:
The Granny Smith apples have a crisp juicy flesh (100g : 52Kcal, 10.39 g of sugar).
Strawberry (100g: 33 Kcal, 4.89g of sugar)
Mango (100g: 60 Kcal, 13.7g of sugar)
So don’t go overboard 🙂
Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase and I would recommend the Nutribullet.
I have been using this, along with my family, every day and since our purchase I have noticed a change in our health. It’s subtle but a definite improvement. The recipes are tasty and nutritious adding to your five a day in one blast that really does deliver all the goodness of raw fruit and veg. One other benefit is that it makes great soups and sauces for meals as well. One huge bonus is how easy it is to clean. To make a smoothie and clean up afterwards is so quick and easy it actually encourages you to use it.
The product itself is well made and made with quality parts. It turns into even the toughest bit of Kale stem into liquid with ease. it comes in a variety of metallic colours. I chose the neutral charcoal grey colour. The supporting parts like the cup are also equally well made.
The positive points are it delivers nutrition straight into your body without losing anything from cooking, helps you to your recommended 5 a day and makes for tasty soups, smoothies and sauces for meals. Another benefit is that it’s easy to clean especially if you clean it as soon as you’ve finished.
The negatives….can’t think of any!
I recommend this to anyone who is thinking of turning to a more healthy diet. It’s helping me and my family and it is giving me a real boost health wise.
This gadget has changed the way I look at food; I’ve only had it for less than a week but I’ve probably ingested more fruit and veg in that week than in the past year. However, I do have a little quibble. Throughout the booklet that you get with the Nutribullet it’s always telling you to not fill beyond the MAX LINE. Yet if you look at the promotional image of the Nutribullet on the front cover (which is the exact same model as mine), you can quite clearly see that it is filled to the top. It’s filled WAY past the MAX LINE. In fact turn the image upside-down and you can see it’s filled to the brim. So why is it ok to flaunt this rule for promotional purposes, but not once you’ve actually bought it? Isn’t this just a tad misleading? Down to cynical marketing decisions I suppose? They thought it wouldn’t look as nice two-thirds full? How bizarre.
Anyway, if you’ve ever seen Total Recall (the original!) near the beginning of the film you can see Arnie making himself a protein shake. What is he using? An ordinary food mixer! Apparently they didn’t have Nutribullets in the future! So yes while this is a great product and I like it, and will continue to use it, if an ordinary kitchen food mixer is good enough for Arnie, it’s good enough for all of us!
I had heard so much about the Nutribullet and was a sceptic, it’s true, but I gave in and bought one. I can honestly say that I have used it almost every day since it arrived and it is so easy to use and to clean. The favourite are smoothies, but I have pureed sauces, ground nuts and coffee, and pulses. Nothing seems to defeat it, you just bung it in, and it does it quickly with ease. Love it !!

This was recommended to me and I LOVE it! I’ve made some lovely smoothies (and some not so good ones) but I’m still learning. What I really I really appreciate though is how quick and easy it is to clean!! I’ve seen some smoothies brought in by work colleagues made in a blender and they look watery and filled with pulpy stuff that sinks to the bottom of the receptacle they bring it in. This product doesn’t do that – it mixes everything up and I can bring it to work in the same cup I make it in. Brilliant. Very highly recommended!
otally utterly brilliant! It does what it says! So easy to clean, I’ve used various juicers for many years – but the Nutribullet takes seconds to clean – just quick rinse! More than this – it gives back the WHOLE fruit or vegetable so each one counts as one of your 5-a-day unlike mere juice. Such an easy way to up your fruit and veg quota – also you can hide things like spinach within the smoothie and the family won’t realise they are eating it! Must be a good thing then. I haven’t used ice cubes in it yet – as I know these can ruin many a blender – but I have used frozen fruit and vegetables which the Nutribullet just takes in its stride.
I thought it was a bit expensive at first – but worth every penny!
I bought this as a birthday present for a friend. The friend has tried his Nutri Bullet and while the colour may be a little strange once it has blended everything, the taste is wonderful. He is now experimenting with various fruits and vegetables and uses his Nutri Bullet at least once a day. He tells me everything, including seeds, is blended and there are no nasty “hard” bits.
I just LOVE it. What a fantastic useful gadget and not one to sit on the shelf. I’ve made a huge pan of soup, portioned and frozen it and also some of the Blasts they recommend. I’ve only been using it for a few days and am already feeling the health benefit – much quicker than expected.
I purchased a well-known juicer some years ago and it was difficult to clean and left all the ‘rubbish’ in a container at the back. This ‘rubbish’ turns out to be where the fibre and goodness is and I’m quite cross that it cost me almost three times the cost of the Nutri Bullet. Now my health has changed and a high-fibre diet is recommended, I no longer need to worry about how on earth I can manage to eat so much veg and fruit. My only ‘problem’ is deciding what drinks I should have each day.
I wish I had bought one sooner but thought it to be an extravagance but no, I now think of it as an essential piece of equipment. I can feed my family whatever meals they want and I can stick to my diet as it takes only seconds to whizz something up. Brilliant !!!!
Well worth its money, but it’s having rave reviews so I hardly need to add my puny words. For the record, though, as somebody who hates being in the kitchen and has sworn over sacred texts she’d never buy another juicing machine, this is a joy to use. You just put your concoction into the plastic jug, fit the blade bit, whack it back onto the machine and lock it into place. In 10 seconds you’ve got your magic brew in your hand. The jug doubles as a mug (there are two in fact, a big’n and a little’n, oh, and a third with a handle). All you have to do is rinse the jug/mug and the blade bit thingy and wipe the machine with a damp cloth. You don’t need to understand the laws of quantum physics to operate this, nor even Archimedes Principle as there’s a ‘max’ line on the side of the jugmug when adding juice or water (or if you want to mix yourself a ‘naughty’: vodka, whisky, rum, turpentine … ). Have you TRIED gin and celery? It really confuses the liver. There’s no end to one’s culinary creativity with this faster-than-a-speeding-nutribullet gadget.
What can I say, this device is a great way to get your 5-a-day… in one shot if you want!
It takes up very little space on the work surface, and is astonishingly easy to use. It’s also unbelievably quick and easy to clean. Literally rinse the blade and the jug under the tap and you’re done.
If you can get past the appearance of some of the concoctions you make with this device, it’s actually really good and the results are palateable – sometimes even tasty. I was very skeptical when people told me they were putting all sorts of things in it, like kale and spinach – and yet couldn’t taste it. It’s true!
Basically this device liquidises whatever you feed it… so thoroughly that you don’t realise you’re still getting all that nutritious pulp/stalk/skin/seed/whatever. The results are somewhere between a juice and a smoothie in consistency.
I never thought I’d actually enjoy drinking a glass of smoothie containing, amongst other things, spinach and sunflower seeds. You just can’t taste it whatsoever. The results taste at least as good as something you’d buy in an overpriced bottle in a supermarket or coffee shop. Each drink probably costs pence to make, and takes between 1 and 3 minutes to produce. I have no weight problems, so am not using this to “diet” – but I do now just have one of these as my breakfast and I’m astonished how it keeps me going.
It took some while for my son to convince me to buy a Nutribullet but I’m so glad I did! It is incredibly easy to use (and even easier to clean unlike regular juicers) and I don’t understand why but not only do I have more energy having used it for a month now but it seems to have reduced my blood pressure dramatically. Although I wasn’t after weight loss, I have also lost 2.2 kgs in 4 weeks. We’ve used it for making dips, too.
Amazing little machine. Highly recommend it.
.
Shhhhhhhh , dont tell everyone !. no use whatsoever and its making me skinny !!. Have used this everyday for a month now, replaced breakfast and lunch with Bullet mix and have lost 10 lbs in weight. Gonna get rid of it. Its costing me a fortune in new clothes.
On the serious side, do’nt waste time thinking about it , just buy it. Best bit of kit on the market.
There is a reason this product has so many great reviews. Yes, it is more expensive than some other blenders out there, but there is a reason! It blasts your fruit and veg – 30 seconds and you have a smooth, perfectly blended smoothie – and I add things like nuts/seeds! It is a great way of adding extra greens to your diet, and the options are endless. I throw whatever I have spare in the fridge it and Bob’s your uncle, a healthy, filling, shake. And you know what, they’re yummy! Won’t lie, I have made a few that have been a bit less yummy, but on the whole, if you stick to the principle of adding some citrus, they are incredibly tasty. I would never have known they have masses of Kale and my most hated celery in it! I add some protein powder as breakfast (meal replacement, keeps me full til lunch) or keep it lighter as a snack. I have also used it to whizz up bread crumbs, blitz soup, mill nuts, and even mix a pastry mix. Handy kitchen tool, not just a smoothie maker!
Love this , it gets used three times a day and is amazing in what you can make. Its used by all the family for different drinks
I make vegetable drinks, crush nuts, fruit smoothies anything that I can put into a fruit drink smoothie and I feel great as this is part of my daily routine one health drink a day and I have not been ill in years and feel its down to the health drinks I take. You can get a recipe book but i chuck anything into mine and just think of all the benefits it gives me as this is the best way to get nutrients, they say drinking fruit and vegetable juices is better absorbed when made into a drink . Very easy to rinse and does come with lids so you make up juices and keep in the fridge and you get a spare juice cup aswell.
Price is a little dear but for what it does just think about all the benefits you get when juicing instead of the price
Don’t put the plastic containers in the dishwasher as they will ruin them after a while they start to look cloudy colour which is horrible just rinse through.
The Nutri Bullet is an incredible product from a functional perspective it does not disappoint in the slightest. It’s ability to completely disintegrate seeds and turn ice into water (not just crushed ice) are the 2 standout big WOW’s for me.
As with all of these juicing / blender type products, they all seem incredible on the advert but it all starts to go wrong when you actually use the machine yourself and you realise it takes 2 mins to produce the drink and 45 mins to wash up the components. This is NOT the case with the NutriBullet, it genuinely takes 2 mins to make the drink and 2 mins to wash up. As a result I have used it every day without fail since I bought it and I haven’t looked back since.
From my experience I would recommend adhering to the MAX line on the side of the flask, if you overfill it then it doesn’t always produce perfect results. I would also recommend ensuring you use the recommended amount of water, this ensures all the ingredients blend well.
I have not given 5 stars as the one frustration is that you need to always ensure the lid has been tightly screwed on. A couple of times when I have been in a rush I have been caught out and the flask has leaked all over the machine.
Anything that gets me to eat more fruit and veg has to be a good thing! As I see it, this is basically a smoothie making machine. It doesn’t replace your blender, but is less likely to be left at the back of your kitchen cupboard as it takes up far less space and I have mine permanently on the counter: it helps that it looks great up there! I’ve had it for 1 week now and use it every day. Still trying to get the right balance between fruit and veg. The machine is extremely powerful even though it’s compact and breaks down food better than the 70 blender I previously used. It smashes ice cubes in seconds! Speaking of which, chucking in a couple of ice cubes is a quick way to cool your drink.
The main thing I like about this item is that it works: plain and simple. Add leaves, fruit, nuts, veg or whatever, top up with water and 30 secs later your drink is ready. Rinse the two parts under the tap and your ready to go again 30 secs later. One thing I hated about using a big heavy blender was the time taken cleaning it. This is far quicker. For me it makes smoothies that taste at least as good as the best shop bought ones.
The only reason I knocked a star off was for the price. 100 is a lot of money for a blender. Also, I would have liked a 3rd lid seeing as there are 3 containers. I quite like to mix up a couple of batches and store them in the fridge.
Does everything it says on the ads and the box
Best buy in decades
You just throw in a handful of power foods, blitz and there you have a meal your body is designed for.. nutrients!!!
It chops up vegetables and/or fruit for smoothies in seconds, add in seeds and nuts and its just bursting with goodness.
I love a hand full of berries, some yoghurt, half a banana, pine nuts, almonds… blitz and go.
I feel better, I look better, cellulite nearly gone, can’t praise it enough.
There’s no way I could eat a heap of spinach, nuts and berries for breakfast every morning but now I have them in a drink along with a bowl of cereal.
Some of the vegetable concoctions I’ve made are a bit face contorting but its trial and error and of course you can always follow the recipes which a lovely. But the drinks aren’t huge so a few glugs and you can almost hear your body saying ‘thank you, at long last something good for me!’
Your machine comes with a book full of nutritional information and menu suggestions, recipes and the extra cups and cup covers.
Get one, you get your money’s worth in a matter of days and your body will positively glow!
Happy blitzing!
I juice as a matter of course. My health has been wonderful since I started .
I am a big fan of Jason Vale. I own a Philips Juicer.
when I saw the Nutri Bulet advertised on TV it peaked my interest and I bought it on a whim, not expecting a lot.
I was wrong.
Now I must say I don’t use it for juicing,Im not into all that fiber. but as a compliment to a juicer it is excellent.
I have put away my bulky blender. The Nutri bullet makes the most wonderful smoothies ever.
I buy frozen Berries from Tesco, no more chucking out fresh berries that go off so quick.
Bung in the Frozen berries with pineapple juice from the juicer or a good pressed juice, soya yogurt and ice and blitz.
wonderful.
Breakfast is easy, banana, soy milk and Granola, bung it in and zap it. yum yum.
I have had the bullet for a few months now, no problems.
It is so much less faff than a large blender and so easy to wash.
yes It’s noisiey, but then its only on for a few seconds so what.
I thought it was a little over priced at first, but you only get what you pay for,
I would buy another straight away if this one failed.
So far I love the Nutri Bullet but starting slowly with one a day for first week. Next week will increase to two per week.
I am 65 and felt it was time I changed my way of thinking about food although I have always and still do cook my own meals so that I always knew what was in them. Always tried to make sure they were varied and nutritious. However, after watching the advertisement on the Nutri B felt it made sense, so decided to try it out. For years I’ve started my day with a drink of hot water and then cereal with skimmed milk for breakfast or boiled egg and toast. Now I still have my hot water but then followed with one of the beginners N B. As I make it in the large jug i found it was too much so I split it and pour some into the smaller jug and pop it in the fridge, then, if I feel peckish during the morning I drink the the rest (stops me nibbling biscuits etc. I am now coming to the end of my first week and find it is working well. It’s an expensive layout in more ways than one so am keeping my fingers crossed it will work for me.
So I was sitting one morning flicking through channels when I came across the Nutri Bullet commercial. The first thing I thought was what an overhyped piece of rubbish…..I was wrong!
I checked out other reviews on Amazon and elsewhere then I purchased one and I couldn’t imagine life without one.
This might sound silly, but I’m a vegetarian that doesn’t really like vegetables so the Nutri Bullet is perfect for me. It really does blast through anything you throw at it. It’s very well constructed and solidly built. The milling blade for seeds and nuts is unbelievable.
At first, I tried kale, a carrot and some cucumber but I personally found it disgusting. It tasted like weeds from the garden!
I made the mistake of compacting the kale leaves down to get more “stuff” in. Don’t do this or you’re left with a horrible thick sludge.
I struggled to drink some of my concoctions but I’ve since found that kale leaves a horrible thick mess on top of my shakes. I also tried lime juice to mask the taste (which never worked). I’ve since found my perfect juice to be a handful of spinach, a carrot and a
beetroot. This is by far the easiest to drink for me.
I have been juicing for many years, and resigned myself to washing up all the bits of the juicer (plus the liquidiser if I wanted to add advocate). Juicer broke ….. Deep breath and decided to purchase Nutribullet. Yes it is a glorified liquidiser – but here’s the difference: I use less fruit and veg than with a juicer; can put absolutely everything in it (advocado, kale, spinach); easy to wash up. What are the cons – can’t really see any, only main difference is that the juice I drink is marginally more ‘gritty’ but that’s because there’s all the pulp – and that has to be a good thing (all that fibre!). And as a confirmed juicer, don’t really mind. Noisy? No less noisy than juicer. Smaller and easier to store. So – in summary – if you’re thinking of purchasing it – yes it is a liquidiser, but it’s very easy to use and much less mess and waste than a traditional juicer. Thumbs up from me!
I have been using the Nutri Bullet for approximately four weeks. I love how quickly it blends and how easily it cleans under running water. This is such an easy tasty way for achieving your five a day. The upside down approach of the design is a great idea, for blending solids first, as well as a nice size for the palm of the hand as you twist it into place. However, I would have preferred a larger capacity and a longer mixing time than the recommended one minute between blending. Once I went over that time and it overheated and would not work. Fortunately it was ok the next day. In comparison to my traditional blender Nutri Bullet s better because it is more powerful and mixes smoother, but looses points for the quantity and how quickly it over heats.
This is the most convenient and best juicer/extractor i have ever purchased! I have a kitchen wardrobe full of juicers that i hardly ever use as they take too much space, too much parts to wash afterwards and are just not practical to use in everyday busy lives! I dont normally write reviews but though i will as having a juicer is so important for everyones health, and this is well worth it! I have only been using it 2 weeks so far, virtually everyday with no hassle of washing up loads afterwards. Its very straightforward to use too, and takes no storage space so i leave it on the kitchen work top all ready & plugged in. The large cup makes enough juice for 2 people, for any extra people just blend more within seconds. I have found it does do carrots but cut them small if u use them. So far am happy, if i have no faults with it during the year then it is worth it. It is early days yet, so far good & hoping it lasts & it doesnt break down on me quick!
I really like the convenience and now consume much more fruit and veg than I used to. I have a “Nutri-blast” most days of the week. There’s a learning curve in terms of what works together and how much to put in and I have had a couple of disasters that went down the drain (like the “too much mint” blast that tasted like cold mint sauce – yuk!). Time will tell if I keep using it as much (I have had it for a few months now), but I think I will. The “smoothies” aren’t quite as “smooth as silk” as the silly woman n the TV ad says, you do taste the raspberry seeds etc., and you have to check your teeth afterwards, or clean your teeth to avoid embarrassing moments! Overall, I really like it and just need to be careful of making smoothies that are too high-calorie – just because it is fruit and veg doesn’t mean it is low-cal. Just a word of advice: Be sure to remove the rubber seal regularly and clean it – just rinsing the base doesn’t clean the gunk from under the seal and you will give yourself a serious tummy upset if you NEVER remove it..
Had it now for 3 weeks and absolutely love it. The whole process for using it is so easy …. out from the cupboard ( stores easily) , cut the fuit / veg and load into the bullet, add the water , blitz for 1 min , empty juice into the container , quick rinse of the cup & blade & finished . Total of 5 minutes, made a fantastic juice & cleaned — whats not to love !. Previous blenders have just been such a chore. Use this one every morning before work its so easy. Certainly makes getting a good healthy mix of fruit and veg easier and more enjoyable . Helping the old diet too.
Have also used it for soups , smoothies & milk shakes for the rest of the family. Love to experiment with all the different combinations.
I do find that it struggles with some of the seed products but that could just be me not using it right yet – Will keep practising
I saw this on one of those TV shopping channels but it was cheaper on Amazon.
I know I need to eat more fruit and veg but particularly fruit which I find pretty dull. Unfortunately I am one of those people who finds it difficult to get my five a day. Five things that are not good for you like crisps, bacon sarnies etc have never been an issue unfortunately. Anyway this is very easy to use and to clean. The extra cups it comes with means you can make your smothies and put them in the fridge for later if you like them nice and cold.
I have tried some of the recipies which mix green veg with fruit. They are not vile but not something I can honestly say I have enjoyed. So I have come to the conclusion that I like my vegies cooked with my dinner. However I am enjoying some nice fruit smoothies. Today I had fresh mango, fresh pineapple with a little bit of low fat yoghurt, a spoonful of honey and a little bit of semi skimmed milk. Really very nice so that’s 2 of my five a day straight away. Maybe not as healthy as some of the recipies the Nutri Bullet comes wth but I am enjoying using this and eating more fruit than I think I have ever done.
The fact that it’s small and easy to use and clean will hopefully mean I keep using it. Time will tell !
We were looking for a juicer/blender to start our juicing diet again. We had a juicer that was really good, but it was messy, threw pulp at the ceiling and our hair, and used a lot of expensive fruit/veg for a small amount of juice. This product is great – we’re drinking the pulp, which is probably better for you, and it creates 0 mess. Cleanup is amazing, no filter to scrub – just rinse it out and it’s back on the shelf. No mess around the base to mop up, no dribbles, really simple. It really blends well. 15 seconds and everything is liquified. Only complaint is that the dispatching had a hiccup and it didn’t arrive on time. After an email it magically was dispatched and it arrived the next day (seems they missed the order or something). But it was worth the wait – great product.
I’ve seen the TV ad and since I just turned 30 so I was thinking well I need to make some changes to my lifestyle especially that I don’t eat fruits so I decided to buy even though I found the price little bit expensive but now I can say IT WORTH IT! First of all the items were well packed and I received them in an excellent condition so nothing broken and nothing leaks. I started my first nutriblast and I was still in doubt that how it may tastes. I put spinach, apple, banana, strawberry, blackberry and instead of water I used semi skimmed milk, well I really can say it was very creamy that I was impressed as well as sooooo yummyyyyyyy 😀 in usual days I would never eat all these fruits but this will be my daily routine and I am so excited about it. I highly recommend it and now my sister will get nutribullet too, it is a great addition to my kitchen 🙂
The nutribullet does exactly what it says it does and what I expected it to. I disagree with the review that says it does not chop hard things–I have had it chop e.g. carrots and nuts without any problem at all. I’ve gotten into a routine of having one nutribullet drink every morning when I wake up, which I do find to be a great boost. I’ll have more throughout the day if I can. It’s super fast and much easier to clean and use than a blender or food processor or juicer, which also helps me have one everyday because the set-up and cleaning takes so little time compared to other methods. Plus, as it promotes, it has benefits a juicer can’t provide in that you get the entire content of the fruit/vegetable/nut/seed. The one drawback is it’s very loud when blending. But other than that I can’t complain and I highly recommend it. I’m very glad that I purchased it and I love using it everyday.
