ROLLING TRANSPORTER 90
ADVENTUREPROOF ON WHEELS
This is your go-to companion for big trips that require lots of room for lots of gear. Traveling can be tough on luggage, and that’s exactly what the Transporter Wheeled Duffel 90 is designed for.
Durable and weather-resistant fabrics with overlapping rainflaps protect your gear from wet weather and the HighRoad Chassis’s oversized wheels allow you to roll smoothly over the rough surfaces you’ll encounter outside of the terminal. Multiple grab handles make it easy to maneuver and lashing points help you secure the pack to cargo racks. Constructed with durable, TPU-coated bluesign approved recycled polyester with a PFC-free DWR coating that sheds moisture.
RELIABLE PROTECTION
Rugged HighRoad Chassis, dual-sided TPU coating, burly hardware, oversized flap and design details that protect your gear from external elements.
GEAR HAULER
A workhorse duffel with a carry system that won’t weigh you down, no matter the load.
HIGHROAD CHASSIS
A rugged chassis with large wheels for a smooth roll over any surface: cobblestone streets, gravel roads, carpeted airport terminals or icy sidewalks.
This bag has been a game changer. After my spinner wheels locked up and I had to drag it back to the airport from my hotel, I decided to give a rolling duffle a try. I also had hurt my back on one particular trip when my spinner suitcase refused to roll on plush carpeting in my hotel. This transporter has been to Churchill and to Norway and those two drivers who picked me up complimented me on my packing skills as most everyone else has at least a 50% larger suitcase. I had no difficulty packing for cold climates however seemed to run out of room on a recent trip to western canada. I’m thinking about a larger one but then I’d have to manage the weight. As a retired female, I need to be able to get this around on my own for shuttle buses, etc, and right now the 60 L size has worked. I also looked at Thule, eagle creek, Patagonia and they all seemed like great options as well, but the smaller size of this one made me get the transporter. It also doesn’t seem to have a lot of straps that could get caught or tangled up with transfers from planes to baggage claim. So far, so good.
Lightweight, durable, good looking, this is an addition to 2 other osprey bags. The oldest one I’ve logged thousands of miles with and it still looks and serves as well as the day I bought it over a decade ago!
Love this bag. My friend had the 120 size which was too big for me. I got the 90L which is perfect. Love the feel of the roller bag and how smoothly it rolls. I ended up getting the global carryon and transporter boarding bag as well. Great set and feels very solid.
I got a gray one and a black one. If I were to buy again, I would buy only the black ones, they don’t show the marks the airlines get on them. The gray does. They hold up really well though. I just got back from an Alaska fishing trip and straight into a Disneyland trip, they held everything I needed for both outings.
Love the Osprey bag and I have taken it on several trips including 2 week fishing trip. Held lots of clothes and gear. Held up great. Seems very rugged to me. Wheels are impressive and it stands upright with no problem. One trip the bag must have set outside in rain waiting to be loaded onto plane. Bag on outside was very wet when I picked it up but all gear/clothes were dry. Very nice. Worth the money in my opinion.
I used the case when I went away on a 10 day course. It was plenty big enough. Light to pick up with handy places to hold onto and best of all rolled really easily on pebbled pavements and in gritty bus stations. It’s waterproof, sturdy and packs down so I can store it away easily. I can’t rave about it enough. Expensive but I expect to have it for many years.
My kit bags for work last 2-3 years and 200-300 flights. Usually pay ~$150 for a 90-100 litre bag, but decided to try something more up market. Very good design details: no loose straps, stands up on its own, smooth big wheels. Graphics on bag looking tired after only ~10 flights. Hopefully the rest will prove more robust.
The coating melts with friction and leaves black marks. This was after my first trip using the bag as checked luggage. The marks are fused with the bag and can’t be scrubbed off. This is just cosmetic but something that should be noted. Caution purchasing the gray color. Aside from that it’s a good bag.
