Where can I use Patio Magic! hard surface cleaner?
Can be used on a wide range of outdoor surfaces such as patios, tarma/asphalt driveways, painted/glazed pots, garden ornaments, brickwork, masonry, York stone, concrete, greenhouses, conservatories, PVC, caravans and artificial play/sports surfaces.
Do I need to jet wash the surface before I apply Patio Magic!?
No. Pressure-washing often roughens surfaces, thereby encouraging rapid algal re-growth. Patio Magic! is a dynamic algaecidal detergent which works without the need for manual scrubbing or pressure-washing – and it takes just minutes to apply.
When will I see results?
The primary function of Patio Magic! products is to kill green mould and algae and lichens you will normally see the results of this within 2-4 days. Some lichens can be very hardy and results may take longer.
How long will Patio Magic! help prevent re-growth for?
Protection can last for about 6-9 months after the first treatment, subsequent treatments can help extend the length of protection. Areas permanently in the shade, or prone to collecting water will have a reduced period of prevention.
When can children and pets return to treated areas?
Children and pets can return to the treated areas once they have fully dried.

Good stuff. The moss and whatever else it is on my metal steps that I was trying to get off with a wite brush, has already started going with no effort from me, apart from diluting the product and pouring it out over the steps!
Fab product, moved into a new council house, always lived in a flat, first garden and it was a mess, previous tenants not interested so had years of moss and grime and this really cut thru it. Still some left too
Product really works, not straight away, you have to wait a few weeks/months, and it gets better over time with the help of the rain. When I first used the product I was disappointed, as I didn’t think it was working, but I was wrong, you just need a little patience. I purchased a larger size, as now I can do the rest of the patio.
A great product. Gets rid of algae, some lichens and moss. Works fairly quickly, best to apply it in a dry spell but not in direct sunlight in a hot day. The product remains potent in the very durable plastic container. It keeps my patio clean for about 3-4 months. My neighbours and friends always comment on how good my patio is (block paving) with no weeds growing through. Take care spraying it near to plants and grass if windy.
Second summer I’ve used this. Just slosh it on and leave – goes on working over the coming months and it really works. No more dreary darkened slabs in garden.
This cleaner is very simple to use on our block paved driveway. It works really well and not only cleans the blocks but kills the moss and weeds between them. Far cheaper than some other patio cleaners but works just as well. Would definitely recommend
We have little sun in area that is paved so between stones and on stones, moss and lichen is a problem. Product is easy to dilute and you can use a watering can. Moss killed within a week so then dead moss has to be scraped off. Stones look cleaner all over. Very pleased just now. Wait to see if less weathering happens over winte
did the job on a mossy path. only problem was my cat managed to get out and even though it was mostly dry he licked some and i had to rush him to vets. 250 later and hes fine so please watch out for pets if you use this
Very easy to use and take a couple of weeks to look any different I have used a watering can before
But and I am going to use a pump acton spray to make it easier and more even

I diluted the solution according to the instructions and used a pump sprayer to apply to my yard and driveway.
It took a few days to work but within a week the difference was night and day.
The only downside (which is a bit unfair to knock the product for but still worth noting) is that it does nothing for weeds. A one step solution would have been amazing.
It remains to be seen how long the treatment lasts but it’s been a month since I did it and there’s no sign of any mould returning so far.
So far so good but early days, I think this may have worked but a little to early to be 100% sure.
