Trs bonne chatire, nous l’avons mise sur notre porte en pvc donnant sur notre cave qui n’est pas chauffe et qui a une ouverture sur l’extrieur.
Nous avions une autre chatire toute simple en plastique qui laissait passer tout le froid, nous n’avons plus ce problme aujourd’hui elle isole trs bien !
Pas de problme de bruit pendant que mon chat passe, les paisseurs se remettent tout de suite en place grce au aimants.
Mon chat a trs bien compris qu’il fallait pousser plus fort, elle a eu un petit temps d’adaptation mais tout va bien aujourd’hui ! Je l’ai pouss un peu contre la chatire pour lui faire comprendre qu’il fallait pousser plus fort.
Pour l’installation la personne qui nous a install notre porte en pvc nous a pos la chatire en mme temps, donc je ne peux pas tmoigner. Je peux juste dire qu’en 15 minutes elle tait installe.

Il prodotto ben fatto, ho avuto difficolt perch la mia porta ha uno spessore di 2,5 cm ho dovuto modificare la gattaiola perch le viti della tendalina facevano spessore. Buono l’isolamento termico, la chiusura un tappo che va a incastro non facilissimo da rimuovere ogni mattina

Assez isolante, mais pas totaleme
ISOLATION: il y a un jour de 1-2 mm de chaque ct du battant: on voit l’extrieur, et il n’est gure possible de le calfeutrer car le battant fermeture magntique doit retomber.
Par-rapport d’autres modles, celui-ci ne prsente pas de jour au-dessus du battant, comme certaines chatires qui ont un battant en plexiglas qui tourne autour d’un axe et un espace de 5-6 mm au-dessus.
Pour que la fermeture magntique fonctionne, il faut que le battant retombe suffisamment fort; c’est en gnral le cas.
L’hiver, l’ouverture peut tre condamne avec un couvercle qui est livr avec la chatire, et calfeutre avec du papier bulles et de l’adhsif de rparation.
DRESSAGE: ma chatte, une chatte d’extrieur, a mis quinze jours pour passer seule dans la chatire. Je lui ai d’abord montr l’ouverture en la laissant ouverte l’aide d’un btonnet, et en rassurant Polarfox avec des croquettes. Elle est passe rapidement avec confiance. Puis je lui ai ouvert moi-mme la chatire avec la main lorsqu’elle voulait entrer ou sortir, en laissant progressivement le battant retomber sur son dos. Elle n’entre pas dans des caisses avec battant et craint d’tre pige par ce genre de passage. Elle est parvenue sortir seule au bout de dix jours, en mon absence, et entrer seule quelques jours plus tard.
INSTALLATION: ne pas se laisser piger par un rebord de porte-fentre incurv l’extrieur. Pour placer la chatire la hauteur du passage du chat, il faut alors le travailler avec un outil multifonctions. Les grands boulons en plastique se coupent l’extrieur pour s’ajuster l’paisseur de la porte, cela peut se faire avec des ciseaux, mais ce n’est pas trs net. Des lments en plastique dur sont fournis pour faire un tunnel entre les deux pices de la chatire, ne pas se tromper dans la dcoupe: s’ils sont coups trop court, ils ne s’emboteront pas dans la chatire.

We had ordered a ProVia door with an integrated pet door from Pet Safe. When we received the door we realized the standard pet door offered was not very robust. We ordered this model and made the swap. The difference is pretty incredible.

Es práctica para los perros
Es facil de instalar si tienes la puerta adecuada a las caractersticas que te indica el vendedor. Si este no es el caso,como a mi me pas, con un poco de ingenio lo pedes solucionar. Lo mas importante es hacer el agujero a medida. En el producto hay una plantilla para hacerlo. Tengo 2 perros de raza grandes pero no enormes.

Absence de joint d’tanchit extrieur. Aucun vritable verrouillage de la trappe.

Positionnement magntique fermer de la trappe au rabat perfectible. Lors du retour de la trappe, bref passage sur une polarit oppose des aimants, qui peuvent laisser la trappe entrouverte.
Bilan mitig pour cette trappe.
Finition et qualit des matriaux tout fait correct.
Mais se destine plus un usage sur cour extrieur fermer et hors d’eau, type patio couvert.
Convient mon usage, permettre mon chat l’accs au garage attenant la maison.
Pratica e isolante
Montata (con facilit) all’inizio dell’inverno in montagna, in una zona con temperature che vanno sotto zero a lungo: l’isolamento funziona bene e il freddo che entra al passaggio del cane accettabile.

Gamechanger!
We were reluctant to install a flap big enough for our 30kg Golden Retriever on security grounds. However she was joined by a GR puppy in mid-Feb the pros and cons of the door being opened & shut multiple times persuaded us to try it. Despite our young grandchildren proving they could climb through we do not regret installing the flap which both dogs mastered in about 20 mins. We slide in the ‘lock’ at night or if we are all out, plus our back door is not visible to passers by as is behind a high locked gate. We have not had ‘draft’ issues, however the door is sheltered from high winds. The dogs love the freedom, thankfully they have stopped trying to go through at the same time!

Tengo 3 gatos y vivo en la sierra, los gatos se acostumbraron poco a poco, primero sin puerta, luego puse dos, y finamente la tercera porque de golpe las tres era demasiado para ellos…
Asla bastante del fro.
A veces los imanes no enganchan la puerta y no queda hermtico, pero es muy cmoda para los gatos una vez se acostumbran a ella., estn felices de poder entrar y salir cuando quieren y yo tambin de no tener que estar pendiente.

Bought the medium size for small 7kg dog, it was about right. It does seem well insulated with an inner and outer flap and insulated flap in the middle. The magnets at the bottom of the flaps seem to hold the flaps enough to stop any draughts but nothing at the sides except draught excluder, dog was using straight away.

Simple to install with a few tools and skills . Took around 3 hours into my brick wall.
Totally weather and waterproof.
No increase in heating costs. No dratfs or water incursion whatsoever.
Took my 8 year old Border Collie 4 minutes to work it out with help from a few treats and encouragement.

Installed and works perfectly! Dogs are taking a bit of time warming up to it but they’ll catch along eventually.
Solid design and very secure. Flap does not blow open during high winds (yet) so that’s HUGE for me.

J’ai achet cette chatire car l’ancienne s’ouvrait avec le vent (je vis dans une rgion trs venteuse, avec des rafales).
Pour le vent c’est parfait !!! Elle ne bouge pas. Elle isole du coup bien du froid (pas vraiment eu de pluie ces derniers mois, mais je ne vois pas comment l’eau pourrait passer avec les 3 battants de fermeture)
En contrepartie, elle est un peu lourde pour mes 2 chats, mais a ne semble pas du tout les gner ! ils poussent et vont et viennent comme si de rien tait.
Mon mari dit qu’il entend l’aimant de fermeture claquer pendant la nuit. C’est pas la plus silencieuse, mais c’est peut-tre mes chats aussi qui ne sont pas trs dlicats.
Du point de vue des chats : avant ils pouvaient voir a travers l’ancienne chatire, et maintenant plus. Les miens vont jeter un oeil a la fentre avant de sortir. Je le prcise car peut-tre que les chats les plus peureux ou peu habitu aux chatires ne se lanceront pas ?
Fonctionne super bien avec la trappe de condamnatio
Fonctionne trs bien aprs mise en place d’intercalaire en bois pour paissir la porte. Le chien commences trs vite l’intrt. La trappe de condamnation est trs pratique et efficace. Je viens de passer l’hiver et nous n’avons pas ressentis de froid quand la trappe de condamnation est en place

Besser als gedach
Ich war etwas skeptisch, da es hier doch einige kritische Rezensionen gibt (undicht, usw.).
Fr mich erfllt die Klappe genau meine Erwartungen.
Ja, die Tre ist nicht ganz dicht, aber was erwartest du bei einem ‘losen’ Teil, das nicht vollstndig verriegelt werden kann und von einem Hund geffnet werden muss? Aber es gibt bei mir niemals einen ‘Zugluft’-Effekt. Die Tre wurde rasch vom Hund angenommen (3 oder 4- mal mit Leckerli und er hat es verstanden).
Es wurde hier auch bemngelt, dass die Magnete nicht immer sauber ‘einschnappen’. Ja, auch das kommt bei mir manchmal vor, aber nur selten und auch dann gibt es keine Zugluft. Ich verweise auch hier gerne an den Vermerk ‘loses Teil’.
Wichtig ist mir der Einbau: Hier mssen 2 Dinge beachtet werden:
. Unbedingt GENAU die Grsse aussgen, die vermerkt ist. Nicht kleiner, sonst passt der Rahmen nicht und nicht grsser, sonst sind die Schrauben in der Luft.
. Beim Vorbohren der Lcher, sollte unbedingt auf eine ‘winkliges’ Loch geachtet werden (also genau 90 Grad zur Flche), sonst knnen die beiden Rahmen (aussen und innen) nicht verbunden werden und das ‘gebastel’ beginnt. –> Das ist auch der einzige Nachteil der Klappe: Die Lcher sind zu nahe an der Aussparung.
Zu erwhnen ist, dass ich hier eine Holzwand hatte, die ich in der Dicke so aufdoppeln konnte, dass die Klappe gut eingesetzt werden konnte.
They do not make a wall kit for the x-large door, although it says it’s for door or wall.
I wanted to install the door in the wall and although it says it can be used in a wall they do not manufacture a wall kit for this size.
Luckily the installer I hired was able to make a kit but very disappointing that the company doesn’t provide the wall kit, yet advertises its for wall or door.

Great item..but !!!Check the thickness of your door before purchase
Was a breeze to install apart from the fact it didn’t advertise that it would not fit a upvc door 25mm thick…I had to build a frame around it to compensate for the thickness of the door. Those who are not practically minded might struggle. Apart from that , very happy

This replaced a prior dog flap and the difference is astonishing. Weatherproof sturdy and the house is significantly warmer too! Excellent customer service when I ordered the wrong size. Highly recommend the product and company.
The door itself is built very well. I definitely recommend taking the door off the frame to complete the job. Wish the product gave a little more advice for sealing up doors that have recessed areas. I got the foam kit that was recommended but its pretty cheap and did not make a great seal. Ended up trimming some styrofoam from the products packing and it worked much better.

Had to purchase the extender adapter to make it work on the

Comprata per un cane di taglia grande (dobermann) perfetta, per lui per noi perch pu uscire quando ha la necessit senza dover aspettare il nostro intervento di aprire la porta . Montata a fine gennaio e devo dire che non sento spifferi si chiude perfettamente molto facile da montare . L’ho fatta montare su una doppia porta di metallo e vetro come si pu vedere dalla foto
I have used previous Pet Safe dog doors in the past. Even buying 2 and putting them together to keep out the high winter winds here in the Crowsnest Pass, Ab, Cdn. They lasted maybe a winter. So far the massive improvements on design have reduced the draft and made my pup's life easier, on because I am not shutting the outer screen door or fighting with the old plastic cover that popped off when the temp dropped below -45c. The removal of the plastic frame, was a good move as many time I would find the flap and what was left the plastic frame on the desk at these cold temps.

Schwer und schwergängig
Habe mir das Teil nach Kauf eines Appartments geholt und in die neue Fensterfront einbauen lassen. Hintergrund natrlich speziell hier die bessere Dmmung der Katzenklappe. Kurz nach Einzug ist mein Kater verstorben, jetzt habe ich einen behinderten Kater-Opi aus dem TH adoptiert, der u.a. Probleme an 2 Stellen des Rckgrats hat. Fr ihn ist es leider sehr unangenehm bzw. schmerzhaft, wenn die schwere Klappe ber seinen Rcken streift. Auch allein zum Aufstoen wird im Vergleich zu blichen Klappen recht viel Kraft bentigt. Das ist insgesamt wahrscheinlich nicht nur fr meinen speziellen Kater ein Problem, sondern sicherlich auch fr gesunde aber eher zarte kleine Ktzchen.
Dafr ziehe ich insgesamt 1 Punkt ab, darber muss man sich als Kufer im Klaren sein.
Wetterfest ist das Dingen aber allemal. Zudem man auch in Extremfllen noch auen eine Schutzklappe drber stlpen kann.
Notre porte tait trop fine, nous avons d raliser une sur paisseur pour le placer. Par trs joli.
Vrifiez donc les paisseurs recommandes.
Par trs facile rgler l’tanchit, mais meilleur que la moyenne.

Purchased for a new dog house for Great Pyreneese.
They fit through it fine.
Problem is They don’t like to be in very much, so they don’t use it often. But, we also have it lifted to stay open to teach them where to go in at.
They haven’t tried going through the flap yet.
Hopes they learn soon. Winter weather is upon us.

Takes a bit of adjusting to ensure the doors close properly. Dogs took a little longer to teach because they can’t see through it but no problem. Very satisfied.

Just keep the sides of the flap sides clear of fur. Just a wipe over each day for example in windy weather. If you have dogs that are malting, and their fur sticks to the sides of the dog flap opening, the flap won’t magnetically seal as tight. BRILLIANT though. Our doggie door was installed in a door that has a covered porch. It is very energy efficient. We live in south Texas where the heat can be brutal but this doggie door keeps the heat or cold out. Best one we’ve had. Worth every penny.

Perfecta. La instalacin no ha sido complicada. En mi caso la he pintado de negro porque el blanco no me gustaba. Asla y cumple con su funcin. Mi perro se ha adaptado muy bien desde el primer momento. Recomiendo este producto y si tenis alguna duda intentar responder lo ms rpido posible.

Sinceramente le istruzioni x il montaggio non ci sono sembrate comprensibili. Me l ha installata il mio compagno molto bravo a fare i lavori manuali ma ci arrivato con l intuito.

Résiste très bien au vent et la pluie
Nous avions une chatire basique avec un volet plastique transparent. Mais les jours de vent le volet passait l’horizontale et laissait entrer froid et pluie.
Avec cette nouvelle chatire c’est bien hermtique et je constate une diffrence de chaleur dans la pice.
Les chats ont mis deux jours s’y faire ( j’ai eu quelques apprhensions) mais maintenant c’est dans leur routine et cela ne les empche pas de nous rapporter des souris vivantes ou mortes.
Dommage qu’elle n’existe qu’en blanc (notre porte est gris anthracyte)

Also wir habe lange nach einer wirklich wetterfesten Tr gesucht, weil unser Kater nur durch die Terrassentr im Wohnzimmer ins Freie kann, wir haben diese dann von einem Tischler einbauen lassen und sind zufrieden. Unser Kater benutzt sie zwar nur widerwillig und es hat etwas gedauert (ca. 3 Wochen), aber nun ist er flexibel. Fr uns war auch wichtig, dass sie ohne Chip oder Halsband funktioniert, denn er ist nicht gechipt sondern ttowiert und bei Halsbndern kratzt er sich am Hals unentwegt bis da kein Haar mehr ist. Fr uns war diese Tr die beste Lsung.

Our puppy figured it out in minutes and within weeks is a pro. At the time of this review it is 36. I just put my hand up to it and can maybe feel a little cold air coming from the edges but barely noticeable. Surpassed our expectations. Superb design. This was fitted into my south-facing upvc porch door (into a pvc panel – not in the glazing). My Lhasa apso dog learnt how to work the flap within days. I did as other reviewers suggested and taped up the flaps so she learnt to hop in and out through the hole, then the next day just left the central insulated flap down. The third day I dropped one of the magnetic flaps. And the fourth day she could easily push through the full door. She has lots of dog friends who visit. I was amused to see her best mate, a Border Collie/ Labrador cross, easily use the flap too (with zero training just following my dog). We’ve recently had a very strong storm with 80 mph winds. The flap has not flapped about under any weather. It has not let rain in. It does let a small draught through – but I don’t mind that at all. Really great purchase.

Nicht zufrieden weil ist immer offen macht nicht zu und ist zu eng
Macht nicht zu bleibt immer offen und daher ist nicht Wetter fest und zu eng ist auch so vom Qualitt her wrde passen , nicht zufrieden kostet nur sehr viel Geld
Zweckmässig
Einfache Montage. Auch unsere Hunde haben schnell verstanden wie es funktioniert und nutzen die Freiheit gerne. Auch bei Minustemperaturen nicht zugig.
Ein Stern Abzug, da der Einsatz, mit dem man die Tr verschlieen kann sehr schlecht in die Fhrung passt. Schade

Ottimo prodotto, robusto e di qualit. Il mio cucciolo di 2,5 mesi di Lagotto Romagnolo ha imparato subito come funziona diventando subito autonomo ( sempre possibile bloccarlo con la paratia in dotazione). La misura M che ho acquistato dovrebbe essere idonea per il mio cane ma mi sembra un p piccolina vedremo in futuro quando sar adulto: alla peggio ne acquister una pi grande.
Unico neo: non esiste la versione verniciata marrone (io l’ho riverniciata per adattarla meglio al mio portone in legno).

Etwas teuer aber gut. Nur fr eine dicke Hauswand kann man nicht alle drei benutzen. Aber wir sind wirklich zufrieden….bis jetzt mal sehen ob diese Klappen auch so lange halten wie die Alten die wir schon viele Jahre haben und das bei 5 Hunden und ab und an Welpen.

La puerta para las mascotas ha resuelto nuestras vidas. Ya no hay que levantarse a cada rato para abrir la puerta. Entran y salen a gusto. No entra fro. La que escogimos es la ms grande porque tengo tres mastines. Es cierto que pasa una persona por ella, pero tiene que atenerse a lo que se encontrar del otro lado de la puerta para mascotas 🙂

En ocasiones le cuesta cerrar en su sitio porque el imn se queda en el lado contrario pero an as apenas entra fro.
Best Pet Door for Cold Weather and Metal Doors
I have had petsafe pet doors for two decades now and most of them would be considered indoor or warm weather doors. They would be frosty in the winter and a conduit of cold air. This door has the double magnetic flaps and an insulated flap between them. The metal frame was key this time since I bought a plastic frame extreme pet door and the plastic frame was bullied around by the uneven metal that resulted when I cut the metal door (foam in the middle). Would buy again but I don’t think I have too for some time.
Note, the dog used the new door without hesitation but my cat is having a hard time figuring it out again.
Trappe très bien conçue et qui remplie parfaitement son rôle
Je suis vraiment trs content de mon achat, la trappe est bien emballe et une fois sortie de cette emballage on remarque tout de suite que ce produit est de trs bonne qualit.
Dans le paquet nous retrouvons tout d’abord une notice trs bien explique et traduite en FR, EN, NL, ES, IT, DE (Il y en a pour tout le monde).
De plus un gabarit papier de perage et dcoupe est prvu (Pratique pour faire du bon travail)
Le reste du contenu : Trappe (deux parties), toute la visserie utile au montage, et le panneaux qui consiste condamner l’accs ou lors de fortes intempries.
Conclusion : Installation trs facile, aprs installation on remarque que la trappe remplie parfaitement son rle autant niveau thermique que pour son rle principal. Mes chiens l’ont directement adopte !
L’ho fatta installare a muro perch nella porta blindata era problematico. Ottima, gli spifferi non passano e i miei due gatti hanno imparato ad usarla in un paio di giorni praticamente da soli (temevo che potessero avere dei problemi a causa delle tre porticine antispiffero invece tutto ok). Molto soddisfatto.

LOVED this door. We are in Texas and worry about the heat getting in more than the winter cold. There is a slight gap between the edge of the door and the flap that goes back and forth. I've lived in Upstate NY and don't think this would be good for the extremely cold months of February and March. However, I think this will be great for the summers here in the south.

super Windfes
Ich hatte vorher die einfache Version des PetSafe Staywell Aluminium Gre L und immer bei Sdwind wurde die Klappe vom Wind permanent geffnet und es kam kalte Luft herein. Durch das 3-Klappen-System der neuen PetSafe Hundehaustr msste schon ein Orkan wten. Die Klappe ist immer super geschlossen, bei mir laufen fnf Hunde den ganzen Tag ein und aus. Auch die Montage in den “alten” Auschnitt war relativ einfach, wir muten nur den Ausschnitt um 2 mm jeweils oben und unten abschleifen und somit vergrern. Auch habe ich dazu den PetSafe Einbauadapter fr Aluminium Hundeklappe fr extremes Wetter, Hundeklappe Verlngerung fr Tren mit weniger als 38mm Dicke, Gre L gekauft – pat perfekt!

Was easily installed in the same door where my dogs killed the last dog flap, seems to keep out the elements and cold air but let the dogs have free access. As the puppy is only a third of the weight of the bigger dogs he literally charges or launches himself at the dog flap.
Will have to see if it lasts longer than the original which was designed for upto 20kg dogs, mine are 3 times that so in fairness no surprise that it only lasted a month.

Great dog trap door. Very easy to install, you just need a jigsaw and screwdriver and away you go. The door flap is solid and keeps wind and cold out. Took the dog two days to be fully comfortable using it.

In der Ausfhrung Alu macht sie einen robusten Eindruck. Geht dich die 3 Klappen natrlich etwas schwerer, aber dadurch, dass die Hunde es gewohnt sind haben sie es schnell angenommen.
Bei Einbau in dnnere Tren als angegeben, kann man sich auf der Innenseite mit etwas handwerklichen Geschick selber helfen.
Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber auf jedenfall lnger als eine Plaste Klappe. Vorallen wenn die Hunde es eilige haben raus oder rein zu kommen.
Id have to say i was very impressed with how well this door was built and holds up! Easy for the dog to use, and does not let the outside elements inside the house! If you are thinking of buying this product, don't think and just Do!

Sizing seems a little big for suggested type of dog. I did google search’s on size/dog and it suggested XL I’m using a medium. With that said it’s tight, but the wife feels much better about other animals including humans not getting in it. It seems to seal back up 85-95% of the time. Take your time on measuring your cuts it’s tight, but looks good.
I just replaced another PetSafe pet door that I installed 4.5 years ago. This was the same size as the original one except the other one was not the Extreme Weather model. Height wise this fit the same hole however width wise this was about an inch narrower. Other than it making my dog unable to hit the door at 100mph because the width, it is a quality door.

We installed in the window easily. It fit perfect! The dogs love it! Our dogs have stopped scratching on our door. We live in West Texas with high winds and can have all 4 seasons of weather in 1 day. Yesterday we had 57 mile an hour winds and it did blow it open we had to close it. Other than that we love it.

Good dog door for Irish Wolfhound
This is a good dog door and our Irish Wolfhound is able to use it with ease but it was too big in the door to be able to fit the locking plate. However, our Wolfhound and 2 cats are happy using it.
I now have a warm house, my previous dog flap/pet door use to blow open with even a gentle breeze, and so my kitchen was always freezing cold in the winter. This door however managed to stay shut even when we had very strong winds that were blowing plant pots around, even strong enough to move my greenhouse that is weighted but not screwed down. And yet, through all this the pet door stayed closed – brilliant. I have large dogs and they are able to push the flaps open easily enough when they wish to use it and the door also has a clip on cover too which my old one didn’t for when you wish to close it off and stop the dogs going out (not that I ever do) but I least I have that as I viable and aesthetic option.
All in all a fab product, relatively easy to fit and does exactly what it claims to do.
