Bought these for camping, and although they’re comfortable, they’re too heavy and too bulky. Nevertheless, while they’re not particularly good for camping, they’re perfect for the garden.
Really impressed. So is everyone who sits in them. Lightweight, and SO easy to fold up. Or hose down (if you have a lot of birds about. Comfortable and like the high back. Thanks!
I have had a set of garden furniture from a supermarket for the last ten years which is looking the worse for wear now and so I have been looking out for something to replace it with.
These chairs have a similar mesh-fabric and powder-coated finish to my current ones. The main difference is that you can adjust the recline on the back rest. I think this is a great feature which makes them more versatile – you can sit up at a table for a meal or recline the back and put your feet up on something for general relaxation in the garden. They are comfortable as the mesh design has a bit of give in it.
The only disappointment was that just opening them up in the living room and testing out the recline feature, I can already see that some of the paint finish on the back legs of the chair has been scuffed away. I tend to keep the chairs in the shed anyway, so I am not worried about rust, but it is disappointing for such expensive chairs.
And the price is the final consideration – yes, it is nice to have the recline option, but for about 30% more than the cost of these two chairs, I could pick up the equivalent of my current set complete with 4 chairs, table and parasol.

Maybe it is my physical lack of dexterity making these harder to put up and down but once done these are incredibly well made and extremely comfortable garden chairs and were a delight to sit in and enjoy the Bank Holiday weather.
They are just over 100 which may seem expensive initially but these are very well crafted chairs and if looked after properly will last a very long time, the old ones lasted over a decade and were nowhere near this nice.
The best thing about these chairs is the ability to have them tilted backwards and just enjoying being outdoors with a good book and a nice chilled drink, absolutely recommended for those with enough space and manual dexterity to enjoy them.

his is a set of 2 garden folding chairs, they are made of aluminium frame, seat made of outdoor textile fabric which is breathable and waterproof of course
the chair is well made and feel sturdy, very comfortable, it’s easy to unfold and also easy to fold back for storage
the 7 levels recliner design is convenient to use, the recliner back could be adjusted without leaving my seat, simply by lifting and adjusting the chair handles, fast and easy
overall the chair is light weight and even good to take it to picnic use
i’m very happy with this product, would recommend

Nice sturdy frame and seating, Folds flat for storage, Opens up easily and has 5 levels of adjustment for the back rest. Comfortable to lay back against as mesh comes up higher than head height with no bar to interfere. Nice paint finish.
These garden chairs are perfect!
They are designed so well and are really comfortable to sit in.
Great price for their quality.
An excellent product that i highly recommend.
5 stars!
This Set of two garden/patio chairs appear to be of good quality and feel sturdy when sitting on them.
They are easy to open and close, and do close up quite flat so are easy to store at home.
There are 7 seat settings to adjust the recliner, from completely upright to an almost completely laying down sun bed position.
Very comfortable and firm and robust.
I hope you found this review helpful
I absolutely love these garden chairs.
They are excellent quality and have waterproof seat fabric.
The chairs fold up and they also recline and they’re quite comfy too.
I haven’t had the weather to keep them outside yet but I did get a separate cover to keep them nice.
They’re comfy without cushions but I’ve ordered some anyway just for extra comfort.
I like that they’re dual purpose and can sit up but also sunbathe when reclined.
I think they’re a great price for two chairs as well.
These folding garden chairs are a couple of quality notches above the run of the mill tubular folding chairs so beloved of anglers and those on picnics. They are clearly robust and very well made with seven reclining positions. In use they are very comfortable and when reclined to the maximum put you almost in a sunbed position.
There is no assembly required and they come in individual plastic bags which are worth hanging on to particularly if the chairs are likely to overwinter in a possibly cold and damp shed…recommended.
These are lovely foldable garden chairs. I ordered the grey colour and it matches my rattan table set perfectly.
I especially like that you can fold these when not in use. They’re easy to use, you simply pull them out and choose the sitting position comfortable for you. The back repositions so you can sit full upright or lean right back. The arm rests lift and then lock into place when you have the best position.
They’re well made and the seat covers are well fitted. There were a few scratches on one of the chair legs but the other chair was perfect. They’re comfy to sit in and you could just throw these into the car , they’re portable too, although if you had to carry them too far, they’re quite heavy if carrying more than one. For garden use they’re great though. Recommended

No messing putting these chairs up from folded or folding, easy change from flat to seat. The arm rests lift to recline the back rest through seven positions. Made of coated aluminium, these will not rot and the seating material is waterproof and UV resistant, also easy clean. We have the grey ones and they do look quite POSH, not too heavy to move about and fold up reasonable slim for storage.
Two for 105 is a good price for this quality.
They have to have five stars, we are very impressed with them….

We are very pleased with these PPHIVILLA Sets of 2 Garden Folding Chairs with Aluminum Frame. The chairs have quite thick Aluminium tubing for a frame and they are very easy to fold out or to fold back up again. In fact they fold out so easily that they can fold out when you’re trying to carry them, it’s that easy. With multiple seating positions you can go from upright to reclined right back just by lifting the arm rests. The tilt of the back increases with each notch as you lift the arm rests, it’s very easy to adjust them. The chairs look and feel good quality so hopefully we will be using them in the sunshine on the patio for some time to come.

These are great garden chairs. No assembly required, just unpack and unfold. They are well put together and strong and quite comfortable. The seating material is waterproof and this so should last a good while. Reclining is a nice feature making them even more comfy with 7 different positions. They fold away flat when not in use so also handy for storage over the winter months.
These PhiVilla Chairs come well boxed and aren’t too heavy at just over 10Kg each. The “out of the box” impression is of a good quality product. One anomally though is thatthere are 7 backrest positions quoted on this page and the outside of the box claims there are 5 positions.
What I like is that compared to my existing garden chairs these versions open easily and smoothly. The principal way of setting the chairs up is by lifting the armrests which allows the backrest to recline. The “click stops” are not particularly definite and I could find 6 positions. The important thing is though that range of adjustment is good and the chair feels safe. There seems no danger of the chair collapsing while someone is sitting in it. To recline you just lift the armrests and push the backrest back.
The mesh fabric seems taut and looks/feels reasonably weatherproof but only time will tell if it maintains its tautness. There doesn’t look as if there’s anyway to tighten the material but it’s easy to sponge clean.
The frames of the chairs appear powder coated with plastic inserts and shouldn’t mark floors if used indoors. The chairs feel strong enough and, as a 12 stone male, I find them roomy enough for me and they should accommodate others of a bigger frame. When folded the chairs are compact.
In summary, a nice pair of chairs that are easy to open and fold, they are also are comfortable and have a good range of adjustment, plus should be durable.
This set of two garden chairs come nicely packed and ready for immediate use.
As I took them out of the box it was evident that these are strong, sturdy and high-quality workmanship garden chairs. It was easy straight from the box for me to figure out how to open them up. These amazing garden chairs can be set in either deck chairs or regular seating positions. They opened up smoothly and at this point, adjust the armrest mechanism latch to the desired position before fully opening the chair.
The chairs are made from a combination of taut weather-resistant fabric, metal alloy and ABS plastics.
The fabric is taut and when I sat in the chair it was surprisingly comfortable and held my 100kg weight very well. The chair felt and sat solidly on the ground and gave me the impression of a premium and luxurious product that it is.
The plastic armrests and parts are professionally formed with no sharp or poorly formed parts.
Today’s weather was hot and sunny, and I and my wife was able to relax and sit in the deck chair position and enjoyed them.
Now that I have handled and experienced these chairs, they are definitely worth the money.
These are long lasting garden chairs that can withstand rain and not get that soaked fabric wet feel. They are easy to hose and wipe clean.
Folding them up was easy, quick and smooth action.
I am very happy and satisfied with this product.

Absolutely love these chairs. Comes already put together, just unpack and enjoy. Very strong and looks great. Comfortable to sit on. I like it that you can adjust the seating position – reclines to what you like.
Seat fabric is waterproof and seems to be strong. Good value for money.
I love these chairs they are really sturdy comfortable and look lovely on the patio. So many garden chairs are flimsy but not these . Well packed and and a sensible price.
Ideal for lounging on your patio . Easy to adjust tilt. Light so prob best brought indoors overnight. Fabric might fade too.
Heavy and sturdy chairs. Arrive together, assembled, in a large box which might need two of you to transport. You just need to unpack them and set them up in the garden.
They are comfortable, strong, and aesthetic. Excellent value and no fuss.
Sturdy comfortable chairs. These are very versatile and well made . Great design .
Bought these chairs for my Auntie who has a bad back and there great with adjustable back
These are perfect garden chairs with the back recliner being an added bonus as all our garden chairs that recline are the larger version. They fold so we can take to the beach or with us on a day out they are also ice and light material is strong and sturdy . Defo recommend them
I cant wait to use this chairs for the garden when the good weather will be back ,the chairs are foldable so easy to store when not in use , chairs are made of mesh and aluminium looks very good like this, comfortable and the most I like the fact that they are retractable I count around 7 levels .decent quality ,sturdy enough, lightweight and lots of seating position .
These are very good garden chairs.
They are easy to fold away and store and they have a nice range of recline on them as well. The fabric to sit on allows for a very comfortable seating experience.
They are also very strong and would hold weight well and they are also strong, so if they are moved around in the garden or get a few knocks then they will withstand this with no issues.
There weren’t any instructions with the chairs but they were very easy to setup and easy to collapse. Comfortable enough to sit on for a long period as well. These are really great garden chairs.
Simple comfortable aluminium chairs, good for the price, more affordable set. Not perfect, there is the odd gap between the plastic end bits on the edges of the arm handles where it meets the aluminium, not perfectly shaped. Other than this I can’t fault them yet but only used them twice.
Surprisingly, these chairs are quite comfortable to sit in. Theyv are simple to erect and simple to collapse. They take up little room when folded so storage is not an issue.
Both the frames and the material are strong and will last a long time.
These chairs can have many uses. They can be used simply as garden chairs for relaxing in the summer sun. They can be easily packed into the car and taken on picnics or to the beach and I like them as extra comfortable seats in my lounge, when watching a good movie on my 100″ screen so they don’t have to be packed away for the winter as they can be used indoors as well as outdoors.
One can sit in these with an almost vertical back or one can sink back and lounge around on them. To change the seating position one simply raises the arms and slides them forwards or back and that raises / lowers the back.
I am impressed with not only the quality of the materials used but also the design as although a simple design it works very well
I am recommending these chairs as they are comfortable, they are good quality, the are well designed and they will last a long time thus they are good value.
I’ve had chairs of similar construction in the past, and they lasted years. These new chairs seem to be just as good or maybe better. They are full-sized, and can be used as armchairs and dining chairs. The aluminium frame means they are light enough to move around easily, and the woven seats should withstand normal British weather. For most people , I don’t think you will need to use cushions on the tightly stretched seat and back fabric. All the parts appear well-made.
The seat backs can be reclined, and I do enjoy a garden nap on sunny days that will return. If you own a suitable garden footstool, the combination is more versatile than an old-style lounger.
I’m impressed with these garden chairs, they are not too heavy to move around, they fold very thin and though a bit sombre in appearance, they do the job very well. On unboxing please note that no instructions are included but everything is pretty intuitive and no construction is required.
The chairs are well made and easy to fold open and closed. I found that when you open them up they “default” to the most reclined position, so make sure you have a bit of room around you when opening. Once up, you can adjust the recline by lifting up the armrests and then push them down to “lock” the position when happy. I counted 8 levels of adjustment from an almost straight back, to a very relaxed recline. As both arms control the angle you do have to make sure both are aligned when locking them into place as it is possible to lock one and then be slightly skewed with the other. All positions feel exceptionally stable and I never once thought I’d topple backwards, even in the most reclined position.
The seat is firm but comfortable and the mesh fabric is stitched tightly to the chair and feels very good quality. Some of the welding looks a bit clumsy (see my photo) but everything is secure enough and I do have confidence this won’t fall apart.
These are perfect then for the garden or balcony and I look forward to using them when the summer sun returns.
All last summer my wife and I were searching for decent, folding, garden chairs. Whether it was as a result of Brexit or Covid we didn’t have much success.
When I was offered these free to review, I did not hesitate, despite it being the wrong time of year.
I am glad I did, as I am extremely pleased with them and will be looking to purchase a couple more next year.
The aluminium frame is sturdy and is wide enough to sit most adults comfortably.
They fold neatly so that they can be stored away without taking up a lot of space.
The back and seat are made from a good quality, mesh-like textile which although firm, is comfortable and supportive.
The material is clearly waterproof, it is also UV-resistant, but it is too early to really comment on this, other than to say that our previous ones were made of similar material and lasted many years.
The adjustable 7 seating positions makes them versatile, as they can be used to sit at a table or reclined in stages to offer a more relaxed, laid back or sunbathing posture.
I have no hesitation in recommending these garden chairs.
Easy to fold, not to heavy, decent recline function and easy to store for the perfect occasio
Although we have not used yet , they look sturdy and comfortable and look forward to some sun !!
light weight easy to fold fits in the car nicely
Took a chance as no reviews when I ordered these. Chairs feel very sturdy. Fabric is nice and tight but still comfortable to sit on, some may want a cushion. No marks or scratches. Item looked as per the sellers pictures.
Overall pleased with purchase. To early to tell how well they’ll cope with weather and use.
